Ahh yes - Jimmy is definitely cloned 😂😂😂😂😂😂
Wow I hadn't heard this one! 😂😂😂 But I heard something similar during the IPL. Basically do you know Indian cricketers Suryakumar Yadav and Mayank Yadav? They both look pretty similar, and both are surnamed Yadav. Mayank used to play for Lucknow in the IPL, while Surya played for Mumbai. Rumours arose that Suryakumar and Mayank were in fact the same person 😂😂😂 They got so popular that Mayank's IPL team, LSG, got into the act too and posted a meme about the same.
There was another rumor that Mayank is actually the long-lost son of Surya. All because they happen to share the same surname and an uncanny resemblance 🤣🤣🤣 Mayank is around 15 years younger than Surya, so people started claiming that he was the result of a teenage pregnancy. Both Surya and whoever the mother was knew they weren't ready to be parents, so they gave Mayank up for adoption. Also, Surya and his wife Devisha don't have children yet, despite being 35. This is because Surya vowed he won't have children until he tracked down the son he gave up during his teenage. Now this is honestly a plot of a movie or something 😭😭😭
https://www.instagram.com/p/C6a0qgERdcc/?utm_source=ig_web_button_share_sheet
Here's a pic of Surya and Mayank together. You reckon they look similar enough to be related? 🤭😜
No - dear god what is this

'In the zone' Abhishek sharma salutes seniors for guiding him to century
Abhishek Sharma gave Suryakumar Yadav credit for his brilliant century in the fifth Twenty20 International against England, which enabled India win by 150 runs and win the series 4-1. Abhishek's 37-ball century was the second-fastest in India's men's Twenty20 International history.
"I was in the right frame of mind to respond to the ball. Following the game, Abhishek remarked, "I did not even know my score." "What are your thoughts, Surya [Suryakumar] paaji? I merely asked. He said, "You may take your time, take a couple of balls, since a wicket has fallen." That truly aided me; I would say that it was only thanks to him that I achieved my maximum score and the hundred. During that period, I was unaware that I would achieve the second-fastest hundred for India.
Abhishek got off to a quick start, reaching fifty runs in just seventeen balls. After nine overs, he was on 94 from 32 balls, and he was aiming to break Rohit Sharma's record of the fastest T20I century, which was set at 35 balls. He finished with the best individual score for India in men's Twenty20 Internationals, 135, off of 54 balls.
He remarked, "I never thought I should play till the end." "My response to the ball depends on the team's circumstances. Fortunately, Surya Paaji came in today when I was in my 80s or 90s and told me that since I had worked hard and played well thus far, I may take two or three balls. I felt that I should bat cautiously when the captain was [batting] with me and gave me instructions. "You have to play according to the scenario and bat till the end since you are hitting the ball well," Hardik [Pandya] advised when he entered the game. There are no better players to listen to in that circumstance than these three veteran players who have performed well for India, which is where Axar entered the picture.
It was a timely knock from Abhishek, who could compete for slots in the team once Shubman Gill and Yashasvi Jaiswal return, especially because India will not be playing a Twenty20 International anytime soon. He maintained, however, that none of that was on his mind.
"I met Shubman and Jassu [Jaiswal] yesterday [at the BCCI awards]." We have been playing together since Under-16, therefore there has never been a competition between us. Playing for India was the only dream. There is no finer feeling than the three of us playing right now.
"Yesterday [at the BCCI awards], I had met Shubman and Jassu [Jaiswal]." Playing together since Under-16, we have never been in a competition. The desire to play for India was the only one. Now that we are all playing together, there is no finer sensation.
One of the leaders of India's high-intent batting model has been Abhishek. He has amassed 1893 runs in T20 cricket since the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy (SMAT) 2023–24 began. Only five batters in the world have scored more runs than Abhishek, and none of them have done so more quickly than his 199.47. In the SMAT that his home team, Punjab, won, he was named Player of the Tournament. Even the IPL 2024 runners-up Sunrisers Hyderabad benefited from his quick starts. What caused the change?
Abhishek stated, "I decided I should back myself and express myself after seeing the fruits of the hard work I put into [batting in a particular way] before that season." "I spent a lot of time around open nets practicing match scenarios. Play your shots, but make sure you do not get out, was the only thing Brian Lara had instructed me. That is what I was thinking of. I believed I could hit shots off the first or second ball as well because of that.
"You do not do much exploring when you are young, but I did that and realized I could play more purposefully and benefit the team. Your team will support you when you do successfully. I so reasoned that I must play this style on my day, whether it is for my franchise or Punjab. Naturally, it is a significant and unique occasion in India. I believed that I should nurture my ability if I possess it. You have to be clear about playing this manner, even though there are ups and downs.
Additionally, Abhishek emphasized the contribution Yuvraj Singh, a former all-rounder for India, has made to his game.
"Yuvi Paaji believed in me, put all of these thoughts in my head, and was always there for me." You also strive to believe in yourself and give it your all when Yuvraj Singh says that you will play for the country and win games. He is the one I listen to, and we have a conversation after each game. I do not know him as well as he does. The greatest source of inspiration for a young player on the squad is hearing from their coach and captain that they must play this way and that they would always support them. I recall Hardik Paaji and Suryapaaji encouraging me in South Africa, "Just believe in yourself, and you will definitely make some runs." The greatest incentive for any player is their belief in them, thus I am thankful that Gauti [head coach Gautam Gambhir] paaji returned in this series."

[ad_1] Sanju and Surya dismantle Bangladesh. Source ( Indiancricketteam Insta) What led to Suryakumar Yadav being selected for leadership duties in T20Is over the 2024 T20I World Cup-winning vice-captain Hardik Pandya, will continue to be shrouded in controversy. However, Suryakumar’s meteoric rise as a leader was always going to be impossible to overlook. After the completion of the T20I World Cup, with India emerging as victors, captain Rohit Sharma announced his retirement from the format. It was then expected that Hardik, who was India’s vice-captain during the tournament, would lead India going forward in the format. However, a change in the coaching staff and their lack of trust in Hardik’s body led to Suryakumar emerging as the frontrunner to take over Rohit’s duties. With his 360-degree batting style and trust in his comrades, SKY has managed to lead India in 19 T20Is with an astounding win percentage of 84.21%—16 wins and 3 losses. The pick of the lot was his clean sweep series win over Sri Lanka in Sri Lanka, where the ODI team faltered, and a 3-1 series win in South Africa. Suryakumar’s stint as captain has been nothing short of remarkable, having now led the team to three series wins as skipper, with a fourth not far away. His leadership seems rooted in fostering team harmony and backing his players. Tilak Varma’s heartfelt words for his captain, after delivering a match-winning knock in the 2nd T20I against England, perfectly capture why Suryakumar has been such a phenomenal success. “I can only say one thing, not just for me. We both play together in the IPL (Indian Premier League for Mumbai Indians) as well. But even for any new player, he maintains the bond so well with every player. On the field, off the field too. He gives so much time to all the players. It feels great when someone like Suryakumar Yadav, the captain of India, is with us. Even if any new kid joins the team, it doesn’t feel like it with him,” Tilak said while speaking on Star Sports’ Cricket Live show. Tilak was promoted by his captain above himself in the batting order, highlighting the trust and vision that define Suryakumar’s leadership. Alongside supporting youngsters, his handling of senior players like Hardik — who was touted to take the reins from Rohit — has also been a testament to his leadership maturity, ensuring a collaborative approach. India’s well-oiled T20I side under Suryakumar has overseen its remarkable run in the format with aggressive intent, fearless decision-making, and dynamic adaptability to the situation’s needs. India won the first game by an amazing seven wickets, and now leads the series 1-0. India will aim for a similar showing to round out the series, and England will be eager to return to continue the contest. Fans may anticipate an exciting match where elite players will showcase their skills. India vs England 2nd T20I Match Details
Date: 25th January 2025
Day: Saturday
Venue: MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai
Time: 07:00 PM
Match Prediction: https://diamond-999.com/
IND VS ENG 2nd Cricket Prediction
India Performance Prediction
In the first T20I, India put up a strong show, batting England out for 132 runs. With three wickets, Varun Chakravarthy stole the show, and Axar Patel and Arshdeep Singh provided excellent support. Abhishek Sharma's spectacular 79-run was sufficient to give the hosts an easy victory as the chase went on. Suryakumar Yadav, Tilak Varma, and Rinku Singh make up India's powerful batting lineup, while their bowling attack is playing at full capacity. India comes into the game as the favorites because of their home field advantage and their current form.
England Performance Prediction
In the first game, England struggled and their finest players did not perform well. The only noteworthy aspect of Jos Buttler's dismal batting performance was his grit. Under Jofra Archer's leadership, the bowling team failed to get through to the Indian hitters. Players like Adil Rashid, Liam Livingstone, and Harry Brook must perform better if England is to win the game. To improve their batting depth, the England team's management might also consider making little adjustments.
India vs England predicted XIs:
India predicted XI:
Tilak Varma, Hardik Pandya, Nitish Kumar Reddy, Axar Patel, Rinku Singh, Arshdeep Singh, Varun Chakravarthy, Ravi Bishnoi/Mohammed Shami, Abhishek Sharma, Sanju Samson (wk), Suryakumar Yadav (c)
England predicted XI:
Liam Livingstone, Harry Brook, Jacob Bethell, Gus Atkinson, Jamie Overton, Jofra Archer, Mark Wood/Saqib Mahmood, Adil Rashid, Philip Salt (wk), Ben Duckett, and Jos Buttler (c)
India vs England Pitch Report:
Although Chennai's surface is typically thought of as being spin-friendly, during the most recent IPL season, it was a well-balanced pitch that improved favor batting in the second innings.
In the 2024 IPL, the average innings score at the Chepauk was 170. In fact, during the previous year's event, pacers bowled at a higher average than spinners. Six of the nine games were won by the pursuing team.
IND vs ENG Weather Report
The forecast indicates that the humidity will progressively rise throughout the evening. Temperatures were consistently above 25 degrees with clear skies.
India vs England Probable Winners: The visitors need to improve significantly since India can also go a few levels in this game, even though it would be unusual if England were as unlucky, especially with the bat. We anticipate another home win since we do not think that will occur. It is anticipated that India will win this match given the lineup.

Abhishek's constant commitment to style while playing Brave
Abhishek Sharma has always had a straightforward approach to his game. The 24-year-old's fearlessness and explosive batting have allowed him to advance quickly in elite cricket. However, there is also a considerable risk associated with his procedures.
After a great spell with Sunrisers Hyderabad in the previous IPL, Abhishek got his India debut in July 2024. In just his second encounter, he scored a scorching century against Zimbabwe to signal his emergence as an international player. Although he received a lot of praise for his flashy batting, he also had a slow spell following the ton, scoring a maximum of just 16 in his next seven innings.

It was going to be difficult to keep India out of the running for very long because they had so many contenders for the opening position, including Shubman Gill, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Yashasvi Jaiswal. Abhishek could have had to choose between modifying his style and sticking to his natural game because Sanju Samson was also taking use of his opportunities at the opposite end.
He decided on the latter. The left-hander's brilliant innings in the T20I opener against England at Eden Gardens further strengthened the team management's faith in him after he demonstrated his loyalty to his style with a 25-ball 50 and an 18-ball 36 against South Africa in the previous two T20Is.
India got off to a fast start as Samson took on Gus Atkinson to score 22 in an over after Varun Chakaravarthy, Arshdeep Singh, and Axar Patel combined to limit England to a respectable 132. Only in the third over did Abhishek face his first ball, and he danced down the track to Jofra Archer right away. He signaled his intentions even if he was unable to make his shot. After that, he hit a four and a six in the same over, but Archer quickly removed Samson and Suryakumar Yadav, putting India in a precarious position.
India was 41/2 at the time, and the risk/reward ratio may have favored forming a partnership and leading the group to success. However, Abhishek was adamant about maintaining his own flair, and the result was pure fun.
He took two consecutive sixes from Mark Wood, who was trying to test Abhishek's pace, with a casual flick and a slash over thirdman. The left-hander then proceeded to capitalize with a four and two sixes off consecutive deliveries after Adil Rashid made a return catch. At the midway point of the chase, India sped to 100 thanks to a six from Jamie Overton that enabled him to reach a 20-ball fifty.
Abhishek hit two more sixes before he holed out at long-off, accounting for 86.07% of his 79 runs in boundaries alone. At that point, India was just eight runs short of the mark and crossed the finish line with 7.1 overs remaining.
India might have been in more serious difficulty if this aggressive batting hadn't been successful on a different day. But there is little reason to doubt the Indian team's improved approach to the shortest format, which blends in perfectly with Abhishek's innate style.
Abhishek attributes his ability to remain loyal to himself to a good support network, which includes Gautam Gambhir and company as well as the coaches at Sunrisers.
"I believe that having coaches and players like that in Hyderabad was a huge blessing for me as a batter. The IPL was the only source of the momentum. I believe that because they allowed us to be free, I always wanted to go and express myself as a child. I worked on that a little bit, and when I entered the IPL, the strategy was pretty straightforward: simply go and express. And just go for it, even if it's the first ball, if it's in your arc.
And I believe that the plan was very straightforward as a result, even for the Indian squad. This kind of conversation, where we have to play according to the situation, or anything similar, has never happened to us. "They always wanted me to just go and express myself, and I think today was one of those times where I just wanted to win the game and thought it was my day," Abhishek says.
And did he have any fear or doubt when he failed? "I've always believed that I want to work well with others because, as you can see, there is competition (for positions) in India for every team, even our senior team. However, I believe it was a significant time for me when captain Surya Paaji or Gautam Paaji would constantly tell me, "The way you play, the way you intend to play...and we're going to back you." The team seems to have a lot of faith in me, therefore I should keep doing that.

IPL Auction 2025: 7 Players Mumbai Indians Can Buy with Their Remaining Budget
The IPL Auction 2025 is around the corner. And as in each season, big moves with Mumbai Indians can be expected to strengthen their team. Well, with a good core of retained Indian players, including Jasprit Bumrah, Hardik Pandya, Suryakumar Yadav, Rohit Sharma, and Tilak Varma, Mumbai Indians will have an excellent national backbone, which forms the core strength. Though their primary emphasis will be on quality foreign players, particularly fast bowlers, as Wankhede Stadium is an outright fast-tracking surface. Here are 7 players MI could target to strengthen their squad within their available budget:
Josh Hazlewood (Australia) - Fast Bowler Josh Hazlewood’s precise line and length make him a potent threat in any condition. MI’s interest in him would be particularly strong given the flat pitches at Wankhede Stadium, which can benefit fast bowlers who can generate swing. Hazlewood’s ability to bowl under pressure in the death overs and his experience in T20 leagues around the world make him an ideal candidate for MI's bowling attack.
Dawid Malan, England Top-order batsman Dawid Malan, the top-order batsman of England, would be one excellent pick for MI. Consistency is one of his key strengths, and with Malan, an innings is anchored to a better extent. Malan comes across as versatile, considering he can play against both pace and spin. He has enormous experience in T20 cricket in leagues like Big Bash League and The Hundred, so that automatically adds value to the batting line-up for MI.
Lockie Ferguson (New Zealand) – Fast Bowler In the past, MI has often backed strong pace bowlers, and Lockie Ferguson is no exception. He's been renowned for his raw pace and can be a massive destroyer of batsmen in the death overs. His express speed coupled with his ability to bowl yorkers even when in pressure situations makes him an expensive asset in T20 cricket. Against Wankhede, where swift bowling can cause serious problems for batsmen, Ferguson might find solace along with Bumrah and Pandya.
Adam Zampa - Leg Spinner 4. Australia Adam Zampa, of course, is a proven wicket-taker, one who is a specialist in the middle overs. With Wankhede sometimes allowing spinners to gain a seam that helps them win the game, Mumbai might just need Zampa to provide the right arm of control and variation. Experience in the IPL for Royal Challengers Bangalore and his attendant performances in other T20 leagues make him a high-profile target for MI looking to strengthen their spin arsenal.
Shimron Hetmyer (West Indies) – Middle-order batsman Shimron Hetmyer is an aggressive middleorder bat, but a hitter nevertheless. He has the ability to fire in the latter half of the innings, which is a great asset for MI to have as a finisher. With the aim of a power-hitting depth in the squad, Hetmyer's experience in T20 cricket and the time he has spent in IPL would add to his value for the team. His aggressive stroke play could complement MI's strong top-order batsmen such as Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma.
Kyle Jamieson (New Zealand) - All-rounder Kyle Jamieson is well balanced between his pace and batting depth. He can bowl consistently at a speed of 140 km/h plus and chip in with the bat towards the end, making him a valuable asset to MI across both departments. He will complement Hardik Pandya as an all-rounder and provide some extra heft with their bowling attack on flat Wankhede pitches.
Rilee Rossouw (South Africa) – Top-order Batsman The game may turn out to be a game-changer for MI if Rilee Rossouw manages to form partnerships at the top of the order with aggressive strokes. With his experience playing T20 leagues around the world, Rossouw has a reputation for coming under pressure and accelerating games as needed. Rossouw might be the injection MI will need to give depth in the middle overs and allow players like Suryakumar Yadav and Rohit Sharma to come out and play freely at the top.
Conclusion With IPL Auction 2025 around the corner, Mumbai Indians will do some shrewd maneuvering to add strength to their squad, especially in the foreign player department. Fast bowlers are going to be some of the major targets for MI, especially going by the nature of Wankhede Stadium's pitch. Josh Hazlewood, Lockie Ferguson, and Adam Zampa will bring fire in their bowling attack while Dawid Malan, Shimron Hetmyer, and Rilee Rossouw will provide the batting lineup depth and versatility. If MI can get these players within the remaining budget, they will have a strong, well-balanced squad to challenge for the title in IPL 2025.
