Butcher Vanity x The Mighty Extra WIP i don't think ill get to finish so it's not really impressive looking waaaaah

I'm stupidly sympathetic towards light novel!Paris despite him being absolutely the most dubious and problematic character in the story and if it were not for the fact Helene STILL usurps him as the better character, he'd probably be my favorite character in the light novel (but there's no way he can beat Helene: not when she is literally the epitome of everything I CRAVE in female characters (and have yet to be disappointed by!!!!!!))

also, unrelated to that is that i really like this shot of Paris holding up the broken dragon stone he's about to give Helene a piece of,,,, this scene is literally so vivid in my memory and i hope so very desperately it gets to happen in the manhwa even if the timing for the scene was missed compared to the OG story

#the mighty extra #TME #Paris Valerian #the light novel made me sob over Paris and Helene and that's so fucking funny to me because i NEVER sob over characters #the only exception to this being Shidou Kanae #my previous fave character until Helene kicked his ass in every department of character writing i crave for #and as someone who is very very VERY detached from everything (Even my own works and characters and real life stuff) that's saying A LOT #because it takes a lot to make me genuinely feel invested in characters beyond a superficial excitement or liking for them #like there's a difference between “i happen to be in this fandom and only like these characters bc they're part of a story i like”#and #these characters are so well written it warps my understanding of reality enough to feel genuinely empathic towards them instead of-#superficially so bc i don't see them as anything more than fictional characters being marionetted by their creator to create a story #and idk i really just adore Paris and Helene and the writing behind them and feel like their existences are “peak writing goals”
