AFERIY P010 800W Portable Power Station Review
I have been looking at the AFERIY portable power station and waited until they are on discount. AFERIY P010 800W is one of the highest power output battery in the battery, and I do need this to power my camping kettle, coffee machine, fridge and a mini oven.
I ordered the battery together with a 200W solar panel as I know the sunshine in UK is not the most intense even in summer. I would need a higher power solar panel to take advantage of the free energy from not so optimum daylight.
The battery comes with 28% power and I immediately charged it from the wall socket using the power cable included in the package. It took about an hour to go up to 100% and I am very pleased.
There is a MC4 to XT60 cable for solar panel charging. I bought an solar panel extension cable with MC40 plugs at both end that connects to the integrated power cable that comes out from the solar panel. The other end of the extension cable is connected to the battery’s XT60 cable.
Today I place the solar panel in my garden and connect the cables to the battery input. The AC output is connected to a power extension lead socket bar which powers my 77” OLED TV, FireTV Cube, Echo Sub and a pair of Echo Studio speakers.
On an early June midday today in southeast U.K. , the solar panels fed average 135W power to the battery, while the TV and sound system power output was between 70W - 150W when a Netflix movie was streaming. The battery capacity drops very slowly to 95% in two hours. When I played Spotify on my TV, the capacity climbs back to 100% in an hour.
In a hot and bright summer day, I would expect a higher power generated by the solar panels. I am very pleased with the P010 battery so far. It should be noted that the high voltage and current that the electronics have to handle, careful handling of the battery is necessary particularly during powering up and down of the battery. No power plugs should be inserted or unplugged when the battery is inputting/outputting power.
At 6:00pm the solar panels are still producing > 100W. I do not have any problem with the noise of the cooling fan inside my living room. I have no doubt that the P010 battery will serve me well during my summer campings.

PROS:
800W (1600W surge), lightweight (6.5 kg), PD100W, PD20W, for USB-C and USB-A QC3.0 charging, relatively silent cooling fan.
CONS:
Plastic swinging cover for the power sockets feels flimsy and care should be taken not to break it. Don’t know why it’s designed to open from the bottom and swing up, which is prone to easily broken when accidentally hit upon, rather than swinging open from the top, so that the power cables are always on top to protect the cover.
200W Portable Solar Panel
PROS:
lightweight, contains USB-C and DC sockets for directly charging devices.
CONS:
Cables a bit short. MC4 to Anderson cable in the accessories is out of date technology. No variety of DC adaptor sockets like other brands of solar panels. The integrated supporting legs for the solar panels are a bit short and the tie back from the supports to the panel is too long. This restrains the angle of the panel to max. 40 degrees to the horizontal. Not good to better capture the last light from the setting sun.

"Summer 2023 Hottest in NASA’s Record" Which goes back how many years? Because we know the Earth warms and heats with semi-randomness, and it did so before humans existed. "find the same pattern of long-term warming" Yet the rich keep buying up the coastal properties. It's funny that the people telling the peasants to eat bugs and own nothing are doing the same things they always did. They are using science as a justification for tyranny. Which makes me wonder how much of this is just Lysenkoism 2.0. "Our record uses millions of measurements of surface temperature" Obviously it didn't do that in 1880. So that is misleading. You have a tiny sample size and are extrapolating, and then using that to justify tyranny. Did humans cause the Little Ice Age by not burning enough coal?
What about The Roman Warm Period, or Roman Climatic Optimum? Was that caused by the Romans being sinful, and not obeying the tenets of Saint Greta, hallowed be her name? I can't help but notice the scientific papers that contradict the WEF seem to vanish, the articles that dissent are disappeared, the unbelievers recant, and beg to love Big Brother...

So here is the little voice of truth in the shouts of the many liars, and I expect this will be unalived soon. "Climate fluctuations during the past millennium are relatively well documented1. On a longer timescale, there is growing evidence of millennial-scale variability of Holocene climate, at periodicities of ∼2,500 and 950 years (possibly caused by changes in solar flux)2,3 and ∼1,500 years (maybe related to an internal oscillation of the climate system)4,5,6. But the involvement of deep water masses in these Holocene climate changes has yet to be established. Here we use sediment grain-size data from the Iceland basin to reconstruct past changes in the speed of deep-water flow. The study site is under the influence of Iceland–Scotland Overflow Water (ISOW), the flow of which is an important component of the ‘thermohaline’ circulation that modulates European climate. Flow changes coincide with some known climate events (the Little Ice Age and the Mediaeval Warm Period), and extend over the entire Holocene epoch with aquasi-periodicity of ∼1,500 years. The grain-size data indicate afaster ISOW flow when the climate of northern Europe is warmer. However, a second mode of operation is observed in the early Holocene, when warm climate intervals are associated with slower ISOW flow. At that time the melting remnant of land-based, glacial-age ice may have provided a sufficient source of fresh water to the ocean to reduce ISOW flow south of Iceland."
Climates change, always. The only time they stop is if the universe has a heat death. It is madness to suggest humans are the sole cause and it is unlikely that they are even the dominant cause today. But the official line, and youtube et al censor anyone saying otherwise, is that climate change on some distant planet is still caused by the sinfulness of white males.
And we see that the scientific bodies merge with corporations merge with government, and all dance to the tune of their true masters.
I wonder, what happens to any scientist at NASA who gets out of line? Who doesn't believe what you are told to believe? Are they merely fired, deplatformed, debanked, unpersoned? Or are they found shot twice in the back of the head, a note from the coroner beside the corpse, ruled suicide, soon forgotten?

Swiss energy system could be independent and carbon-neutral by 2050
01.06.23 - Researchers from EPFL and HES-SO Valais have modeled the Swiss energy system under the hypothetical constraints of carbon neutrality and energy independence by 2050. The results show that these two constraints could be met while reducing energy system costs by about 30% compared to 2020. A carbon-neutral and independent Swiss energy system in 2050 is theoretically achievable using the currently untapped local renewable energy resources. This system would even be cheaper than the country’s 2020 energy system modeled with the same assumptions, with up to 30-32% cost reductions. Such are the findings of an extensive study led at EPFL and HES-SO Valais, that have the potential to pave the way for a reinforced plan towards more domestic investment in clean energy. Though theoretically possible, the total independence of the Swiss energy system is not a goal per se. The carbon-neutral constraint by 2050, however, is aligned with the text of the Federal Act on Climate Protection Objectives (submitted to the Swiss vote in June 2023). The scientists decided nevertheless to use their model, the multi-energy and multi-sector modeling framework EnergyScope, to push Switzerland into a fully energy-independent state in order to theoretically guarantee the security of supply and later calculate the impacts of the imports and exports.
