#bg#bg3edit#karlach cliffgate#my post#.gif#on my very first pt i freed orpheus which ended up being funny/confusing but a little dissapointing bcs i anticipated my expectations to be#subverted and they weren't. it's cool that he is not above turning into illithid but it's not interestng that he desires to suicide after#i just thought “oh...” but i do not regret doing that ending at all - it made me see certain side of thing. it's just not canon anymore#on my 2nd (same character replay) i gave the stones to the emperor which ended up much less bombastic but definetely more coherent#and on this one (3rd) i allowed karlach to turn and it's so good. everything clicked into place#i very specifically loved the imagery of a freed DU and Her doing this hand in hand now. felt less... like being The One#and the fact that for her it turned out to be a wonderful decision#i also let my pc turn into an animal before the high hall and so wyll was the one who gave speech to the gathered allies#no character fits the role here better. definitely not mine
