Can you write about kenan yildiz x reader where she graduates college and kenan is a supportive partner.?
MY ROCK - KENAN YILDIZ
You graduate and Kenan is your biggest supporter
Kenan Yildiz x fem! reader
︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿︵‿୨♡୧‿︵‿
The sun shone brightly over the sprawling campus of Harvard University, casting a golden hue on the sea of graduates gathered on the lush green lawn.
The air was filled with excitement and anticipation, a symphony of proud families and friends celebrating the achievements of their loved ones.
Among the crowd, I stood in my cap and gown, heart pounding with a mix of pride and nervousness.
"Y/N!" Kenan's voice cut through the noise, and I turned to see him making his way toward me, grinning from ear to ear, his eyes filled with pride and joy.
He looked effortlessly stylish in his suit, a stark contrast to the sea of black gowns around us.
"You made it!" I exclaimed, throwing my arms around him in a tight hug. The relief of seeing him there, supporting me on this monumental day, was overwhelming.
"Of course, I did," he said, pulling back to look at me. "I wouldn't miss this for the world. I'm so proud of you, Y/N."
His words brought tears to my eyes. "Thank you, Kenan. It means everything to have you here."
As we made our way to our seats, Kenan pulled out his phone and began snapping pictures of everything.
"Kenan, you don’t have to take so many pictures," I laughed, trying to pull his arm down.
"Yes, I do! This is a huge day, and I want to capture every moment," he insisted, continuing his impromptu photo session.
We found a spot among the throngs of people, waiting for the ceremony to begin. Kenan held my hand, his thumb gently rubbing reassuring circles on my skin.
As the speeches started, I couldn't help but steal glances at him, grateful for his unwavering support throughout my college journey.
When my name was finally called, I took a deep breath and made my way to the stage. The applause was deafening, but all I could focus on was Kenan's beaming face in the crowd.
As I walked across the stage, Kenan's voice rang out above everyone else's.
"That's my girl! Go, Y/N!" he shouted, making the audience laugh and cheer along. I felt my face flush with a mix of embarrassment and pride, but I couldn't help but smile widely.
I accepted my diploma with gratitude, knowing that this achievement was as much his as it was mine.
After the ceremony, we navigated through the jubilant crowd to find a quiet spot.
Kenan wrapped his arms around me, lifting me off the ground in a celebratory spin.
"You did it!" he exclaimed, his joy contagious.
"I did," I replied, laughing. "I really did."
We spent the rest of the day taking pictures, meeting up with friends, and sharing in the collective celebration.
Kenan was by my side the entire time, his presence a comforting anchor amidst the whirlwind of emotions.
"Kenan, enough with the pictures!" I said, playfully swatting his phone away.
"Just one more, I promise," he grinned, snapping yet another picture of me.
Later, as the sun began to set, we found ourselves on a quiet bench overlooking the campus. The hustle and bustle of the day had finally settled, leaving us in a peaceful moment of reflection.
"Do you remember the first day we met?" Kenan asked, a nostalgic smile playing on his lips.
"How could I forget?" I replied, leaning into him. "You were so confident and charming. I was a nervous wreck."
"And look at you now," he said, his voice filled with pride. "Graduating from Harvard, ready to take on the world."
I smiled, feeling a warmth spread through me. "I couldn't have done it without you, Kenan. You've been my rock."
"And you'll always have me," he promised, pressing a kiss to my forehead. "No matter what comes next, we'll face it together."

My thoughts about the stills
My babies, looking so happy and in love, surrounded by friends, and a rainbow of different colours. They are dressed in winter clothes so definitely in the beginning of the season.
I love Wille's Fjällräven coat. Very on brand. Ayub is not visible in this cropped version but he's also there. I love that for Simon.
The way they are smiling and touching eachother is every thing. Simon's hand on Wille is everything. Their chemistry is everything.
Sara is obviously not with them which is a significant change. I forsee her being very lonely and isolated this season and I wonder if she'll find herself again.
It definitely feels like they are all watching Sara. I wonder how their interactions will play out. I imagine they won't forgive her that easily but now that' she's not a boarder anymore I can feel the tension when she arrives at school.
They all look pretty judgemental and mad except for Felice who looks more sad.
Not gonna lie I'm not too interested in this picture but I expect August to be moody and broody. Looks like maybe he's gonna pack away his stuff so maybe he's also moving out. Maybe he's been kicked out? Though we know he'll graduate.
But he doesn’t look happy and there's a box in the foreground.
No idea what's going on here but Wille has ever looked better. The double denim is stunning. He looks stylish but effortless.
I love this picture. Whether or not it's a bts shot it gives me good vibes only.
For me the Queens arc has been and will be about loving her son and supporting him. A monarchy can't survive with being anti lgbtq+ and I think Wille's parents have always loved him. Seeing how happy he is with Simon and showing acceptance to Simon would be huge.
What confuses me though is the staff members. Why are they all there?
I suppose this is Sara and Wille talking to eachother. It looks like it. Sara looks so pretty.
I assume Sara is asking about Simon, maybe trying to find a way to make him forgive her. If it happens I hope it's organic and because Sara realises she messed up, takes accountability for it and shows Simon that she can be a better sister to him. I don't expect it to be sudden. Maybe they won't fully get there which I think I would prefer.
I also wonder how Wille will react to her. If he's also mad at her.
This shot is so pretty. I love the golden light and them looking so peaceful together.
It must have been freezing to shoot though.

childhood rivals to lovers prompts
because it took me until high school to realize that the annoying boy i knew in 7th grade might've liked me
—-
being the top of their classes but only having eyes to compete with each other
being nerds and doing homework together after school but only to compare answers and smugly correct each other
X finds out Y's favorite color and starts wearing more of it, Y secretly likes it
having insulting nicknames that only THEY can use on the other
neither of them know how the beef started, could be that X already liked Y and didn't know what to do with feelings + Y being friends with kids that liked to argue with X
they end up hanging together bc of mutual friends and Y ends up enjoying this group more than their old friends
or X is friends with Y's sibling so they end up encountering at Y's house unexpectedly
maybe teachers note the rivalry and seat them together/pair them for projects. the class likes to watch their back-and-forth
"you look dumb with your hair up like that" "fix your chapped lips" "short" "weak" other immature digs at each other
losing contact as they end up at different high schools and eventually go to different colleges, maybe out of town
both were too stubborn to get each other's contacts, or didn't have ways to personally contact each other after middle school
neither said anything at middle school graduation, last they'll ever see each other
maybe one cries, or X randomly hugs Y before running away, maybe a small picture together taken by their parents who don't know about the rivalry
cut to college, they return to their hometown during a school break. maybe the breaks happen to line up
see each other in passing on a crowded bus/train, almost don't recognize each other
"was X this attractive?" sort of thoughts. maybe one notices and the other doesn't, or both make awkward eye contact for a split second before looking away
maybe they end up visiting the old bakery/cafe they always went to as kids and see each other on line, or X is working register as a summer job
brush it off bc maybe they've been thinking about their crush for so long that they're hallucinating the scenarios they made up
do they keep feigning ignorance? at this point, haven't there been too many coincidences?
one decides to take a chance and calls out to the other with the old insulting nickname
it works and they respond in kind with a smile
"It's been almost a decade now"
"you look different"
taking a closer look and seeing how the other has developed. the awkward baggy clothes have been replaced with better fitting stylish clothes.
the baby fat is gone but the smile's undoubtedly the same
noticing the changes they made in appearance and remembering the old insults they threw. maybe one did change their hairstyle and looks way too attractive, maybe one got muscular and is much stronger than the other
even better with height differences, especially if the one who used to be shorter grew way taller
or the shorter one stayed short and the other grew substantially
making snarky but lighthearted remarks mentioning inside "jokes" from the past
"still got chapped lips?" "still looking at my lips?" even better if one knows about the other's crush
one has the courage to ask for the other's contact info, finally arrange something close to a date (they never specify)
reminisce about old times, maybe meet up in the old playground/cafe/bakery near the middle school
realize they get along well as adults, talk about high school and college and where they're going in life
sad if one is going abroad, or if their careers are so separated that they probably won't have time to see each other a lot
maybe they secretly kept mementos of each other. if not that graduation picture, then the mean doodle Y drew in X's notebook, or the post-it X left in the book Y lent them, or the hat that Y never gave back, or the pen that X stole from Y's bag, etc.
"are you with anyone?" "no, you?" "me neither"
"i used to like you when we were kids" "used to? what about now?"
or "what am i supposed to do with an expired crush" to be sassier
meeting again is stirring up old feelings
happy end, they get together and have a strong long distance relationship or smth
sad end, they part ways for the final time

Ceasefire | 0.9 | Bradley Bradshaw x Reader
Previous Chapter | Next Chapter | Masterlist
Synopsis: Bradley Bradshaw is in San Diego, summoned to Top Gun for the first time. Commander “Hyde” Simpson is his flight instructor, and she doesn’t have time for schoolboy crushes.
Warnings: ex-husband!beausimpson, divorce, age gap (rooster is somewhere between 26-28, reader is 38), power imbalance between instructor and student aviator, swearing, angst
…
Spotting him across the floor of a Navy gala, handsome and all-American, chiselled and stoic — convincing him to fuck you in the back of his sensible but stylish Cadillac that same night. You have always been too wild for Beau Simpson. His mother had tried to warn him about this; about you.
Maybe you were too much, maybe he was never enough — just doomed from the start, that’s all you know for sure. Making yourself smaller for him, making yourself tidier, calmer, you’re done with every single compromise that you’ve ever made for that bastard of a man.
Truthfully, Beau wasn’t that bad. If he had just listened earlier, or if he had just listened at all, you wouldn’t be half as furious as you are this morning. You’ve been psyching yourself up all weekend and there is no stopping you now. Days until Rooster graduates and he’s out of your class, a couple of weeks before his next posting.
Enough time wasted. Beau winds the hands on his watch, barely listening to Bernie listing off his plans for the end of his first week as a newlywed.
Your boots clatter loudly, thudding with each step along the hallway. You don’t bother knocking, you’ve spent enough time waiting for Beau’s permission. Armed with gossip that is more than enough to save your ass, you just about stop yourself from kicking the door open — opting for the handle instead.
The door swings open and slams into the wall, Bernie tenses and droplets of his lukewarm coffee spill onto his khakis.
Cocky as ever, your soon to be ex-husband smiles coyly from behind his grand looking desk, morning sun spilling through the blinds and illuminating the frosty blue of his eyes. “I don’t believe that we have a meeting scheduled, Lieu—“
“Cut the shit, you son of a bitch,” You interrupt him, eyes alight with fire as you carry forwards into the office swiftly enough to make Hondo stumble back and out of your way. You slam the papers down onto his desk, eyes wide, nostrils flared. He hasn’t seen you this fired up about something since he pulled the head off of Dylan’s doll and handed him a baseball. That was a big fight. Beau glances downwards, but he already knows what the papers are. “Sign.”
Beau squares his shoulders and narrows his ice-cold eyes at you, sitting back in his chair calmly.
Hondo swallows and smooths out his uniform, still tripping over his feet as he struggles towards the door. “I’m going to give you two some space.”
The door closes behind him and Beau raises his eyebrows expectantly at you, “Without my lawyer present?”
“Have whatever you fucking want, the savings, the assets — I refuse to spend another fucking second on this Earth as your wife.” You bite back, grabbing one of his dumb, expensive pens from the holder and slamming it down on the paper.
Beau scoffs and shakes his head, “What’s with the hysterics? — Is this about the wedd—“
“Yeah, it’s about the wedding.” You lean forwards and rest your palms on the desk, squinting your eyes at him seriously. Beau glances down at the picture of Taylor on his desk, silently terrified of the day that she looks at him as defiantly as you do. “It’s about you not keeping your damn hands to yourself.”
He rolls his eyes and leans back folding his arms over his chest, “I kissed my wife — sue me.”
Your pupils blow wide open. You lean in closer to him, the smell of his morning coffee filling your nostrils. The thought crosses your mind to just pour it in his lap. No, you've got something that will hurt more than that.
“Your wife,” You draw the word out, glaring ahead at him, venomous, “Went home on Saturday night and had mind blowing sex while you sat on your fucking own. Thanks for the parting gift, Beau. Now, fucking sign.”
He stares at you. Gaze hardened, used to people quivering and keeling over at his whim. Not you. You’ve never been that way.
He laughs and grabs his coffee cup from the desk, purely because it’s too early to be drinking scotch. Though, having this conversation this early on a Monday morning is having him rethinking things. “Sign so that you can go and be a whore? — Yeah, I’ll have to think on that one, baby.”
Whore. It’s practically worth reminiscing. The first word his mother ever said to you. Fitting, that he spits it back in your face now. He looks like her when he’s cold like this.
You don’t falter in the slightest bit, khakis fitting snugly around your curves as you lean further forward. “He graduates next week, and I’m introducing him to the kids. I’m serious about him.”
“Great, you’re fucking a high schooler.” Beau scoffed as he sets the mug back down.
You give him a second. That’s all it takes. Cyclone’s a lot of things, but he isn’t dumb. His face changes. Now it’s his turn. Pupils blown, nostrils flared, enraged.
“He’s — I thought that you were fucking kidding! One of your students? — Jesus Christ, Hyde!”
You glare at him, banging your hand against his desk, “Keep your voice down.”
“Keep my voice down? — I’m going to make sure everyone who has ever thought you were worthy of a promotion finds out about this!” Beau shoves the desk and stands up sharply, jutting forwards like he’s going to tackle you.
“You say a damn word, and I’ll tell everyone about that fucking twenty year old that you fucked in our bed!”
Bernie. Beau stares at you blankly. Bernie, loose-lipped at the best of times and busy spilling secrets to Hangman for most of the reception on Saturday. Beau — who had been drunk out of his mind, and who had spilled his secret about the sharp-witted, young bartender who he had taken home the week before.
You watch your ex-husband scramble for leverage in his own mind; he’s already certain that his indiscretion is not half as bad as yours — you’ll still be in a much worse situation than he will.
Your lips quirk. “Did she tell you that she’s in flight school by the way? — That makes you her superior, huh?”
Studying a man for years leaves you with certain skills. The oh-so familiar ‘oh shit’ look has become one of your favourites. It suits him to look so dumbfounded.
You pick up the pen again and hand it towards him. “Sign — or you fuck us both over.”
His brows knit together just slightly. His head moves like he’s trying to shake it, just slightly. He takes the pen from your hand numbly as he searches your face. Looking for any semblance of the woman he loved.
“What did I do for you to hate me so much?”
You stop yourself from rolling your eyes. You stop yourself from leaping across the desk and shaking him, smacking him — cursing his name, because he still doesn’t fucking see it. He still has no idea.
He watched you slowly stop loving him every single day for years and did nothing to stop it. He reacted with fury and cruelty. Even now, he wakes up every morning with the intention to hold you back. A hot poker to your throat, there isn’t a single word that you can manage to say to him.
You exhale slowly and shake your head.
“I don’t hate you.” It’s the truth, you’re not sure that you ever could — even if he’s trying his best to make that happen. You stare at the floor, nudging the toe of your boot against a chip in the wood. “I hate that you made this such a mess, when it could’ve been over months ago. But I don’t hate you.”
It’s more of an answer than he probably deserves, he knows that. He holds onto his breath, turning his chin downward as he scrawls his signature on the dotted line, turns the page and does the same again. He knows where the pen needs to go — he’s been staring at these forms for once and waiting for you to change your mind.
Setting the pen down against his desk, he pushes the document back towards you.
“Who is he?”
“Don’t, Beau.” You sigh, picking the paper up from his desk and turning away. You open his office door and close it with more civility than he deserves.
It’s a hard time to get divorced — 8am on a Monday morning. It weighs on his mind through his morning briefings, the starts of his weekly catch-ups. The thought of you, down there in the classroom with those animals drooling over you. He taps his foot under the table as some two-star admiral drones on about unmanned planes.
“So, is Hyde as mean in bed as she is in the sky?” Javy grins, torso twisted to look back at Jake and Rooster’s desks behind him. There’s a movie playing on a projector in front of them about stealth maneuvers, but every time Javy looks forwards, all that he can think about is you moaning Rooster’s name this weekend.
Jake grins, leaning across towards Rooster, “Has she ever made you cry, Bradshaw?”
Rooster’s lips quirk, tugging at an amused smirk as he kicks back in his seat, “Shut the fuck up.”
“Does she make you call her Commander?” Javy grins, spurred on, his entire face consumed by the smile as he tries to stop himself from laughing.
Jake snorts at the idea, twirling his pen between his fingers, “So, you guys ever fuck on base?”
Rooster has been trying to look ahead and keep his mouth shut, and ignore their comments as much as he can, but they’re still his best friends — and he can’t pretend he isn’t proud of himself.
He leans just slightly towards Jake and lowers his voice, “She sucked my dick in the supply closet near pre-flight once.”
“No, she fucking didn’t!” Coyote whispers excitedly. Rooster swings his foot forwards and kicks the back of his chair, glaring at him. The three of them glance sheepishly back towards the front.
“So, Hyde sucks dick?” Jake whispers, deep in thought at the idea. “I woulda thought she was too mean for all that.”
Rooster’s lips quirk softly. He gives a gentle shake of his head and turns his attention back towards the screen. “She’s not mean.”
“Not to you.” Coyote replies with a small chuckle. Rooster smirks, then nods.
“No wonder after what we heard on Saturday. Oh, Rooster, fuck, I’m gonna—“ Jake stops abruptly as Phoenix turns around, bewildered. He gives her a small nod of acknowledgment. She glances between the three of them and then shakes her head, turning back towards the front.
Rooster bites his cheek and Jake and Javy snicker around him. He knows that he makes you feel good, and he’s proud of that. Jake and Javy can tease all they want. Rooster hopes they find someone like you someday.
“She does have nice tits.”
“Watch it.” Rooster bites. Jake’s lips quirk as he turns his attention back to the screen. He knew that he was going to get that reaction, he just wanted to see how far he could push Rooster.
As the video finishes, you dismiss the aviators to pre-flight and sit back in the office chair. Sitting at the back of the class, Jake and Rooster are the last to leave. Jake’s grinning at you as he walks towards the door.
“Cut it out, Hangman.”
He turns and winks back at you, “Don’t worry. I’ll keep your secret, Teach.”
Turning, he finds Cyclone standing a few feet down the hallway. He’s out of your line of sight but he’s staring straight at Jake.
Jake remembers being back home in Texas, young and stupid with nothing better to do than hop into the bull’s pen and race to see if he could jump out before he was impaled. He has looked a pissed off bull in the eyes many times, and he recognises that look on Cyclone’s face.
“Seresin.”
Jake leans his head back and groans, knowing that he shouldn’t find this as funny as he does. He raises his hands in defence and starts to walk backwards.
“Alright, Sir—“

Battles of past
Synopsis: The past brings out new insecurities, how will they navigate through it?
Category: Slight angst. Fluff.
********
I drummed my fingers against the smooth cold mahogany desk, swirling the office chair round and round. I was bored out of my mind and with nothing to do, I always did tend to get a little fidgety. Cleaning helped calm me down, it worked on multiple fronts, I got the nervous energy out of my system, the house looked nice and tidy and time passed by without notice.
I had finished up the kitchen, the bedroom, bathroom. The only place left was Ethan's home office. I'd never really been in there for long, only when I needed a space to work or something, my limit only had ever stretched to his desk. Not that he would mind but there wasn't any circumstance as such. Even all of my documents were in the bottom most drawer of the vanity.
I grabbed the broom, mop and the rest of my cleaning tools, deciding to deep clean the place. I began with the glass door, scrubbing until I could lightly see my reflection in it. Next was the desk, I arranged all three of his drawers, onto the floor, the tiles squeaking under my feet by the time I was done.
I moved to his cabinet, finishing the upper half before settling down, opening the huge drawer at the bottom. I pulled it as it fought back, the hinges too lazy to move in what must have been years. I yanked it open, dust floating up. I looked at various papers, certificates, report cards, albums, yearbooks. I gasped, it was Ethan's old stuff. I'd never really experienced a truly young Ethan, it always filled me with insecurity, the age gap.
I pulled out the contents slowly, wiping the covers gently with my cleaning cloth, rummaging through the pages. I laughed as I read his elementary report cards, stellar as expected.
He used to be late every time! I couldn't imagine Ethan ever being late, a letter to Alan for sneaking out of class, a school project of My Family, with a photo of Ethan, smiling wholeheartedly with gaps in his tiny teeth, how adorable! Next to him sat Alan, looking so young I almost couldn't recognize him, he sat taller, a faint smile on his lips, eyes shining with pride. His hand resting on Ethan's cute little knee. I moved my eyes to the woman, her striking blue eyes identical to the ones I looked into daily, her dark blonde hair put up in a stylish updo, her poise perfectly regal.
I smiled sadly looking at the date at the bottom of the page, three years more and she would leave, causing a hurt an entire lifetime cannot replace. I moved on pulling out more memories, high school graduation, yearbooks, Ethan with braces, med school.
I chuckled, throwing my head back at a photo of Ethan and Tobias, Tobias kissing Ethan's cheek, the latter scrunching his face in clear amusement.
Next were his med school books, Anatomy, Physiology, pharmac, I blew a raspberry at the book, it had given me all the sleepless nights in the world. I flipped through the pages, his flowing handwriting sprawled through the pages, notes and markings throughout the book. Just as I was about to place it down, two photos slipped through the pages, landing face down on the floor. I picked them up turning them.
"Wo.. Ah" I mumbled. Not even in my dreams could Ethan look so.. young. He looked so...not my Ethan. The second picture sent a slight pang through me, an irrational surge of displeasure at the unknown woman. Ethan's arms against her set my skin ablaze and despite myself I began perusing the extent of her familiarity with Ethan.
It wasn't like we came to each other virgins, I knew he had his past but having a reminder of it is always unpleasant. I pushed everything back into the drawer, getting up and sitting in his chair, my haed swirling with thoughts. At the worst possible moment, I heard his voice call out.
"Penny..Are you done with that infernal cleanliness drive of yours? "
"Hmm" I made an incoherent noise, unable to muster the words.
He peeked in through the door noticing me, smiling as he made his way towards me pulling me flush against him, his arm curving against my waist as I other one dipped down to squeeze my ass. I looked at him, the lines on his face prominent, his eyes mature.
Suddenly the photo flashed in my mind, his embrace exactly the same.
"I need.. I don't..Ethan let go, please, now. " I pushed his arm off, nudging his chest away. He didn't protest, immediately letting go, a confused look descending on his features.
"Hey, you okay, what happened? "
"It's.." I wanted then and there to go on but it seemed silly to let something old linger, deciding against it, I shook my head. " nothing "
He raised one eyebrow at me, " Well, It's not nothing, I know that. "
"It's just.. really silly"
"I love when you're silly. "
"Not like that.. It's, wait I'll show you. "
I crossed over to the cabinet, pulling the drawer and holding out the two photos. He stared at them a beat before meeting my gaze.
"And? "
"Ok, um.. wow I guess.. I don't know how to say this but.... Uh, our age gap has been sort of an insecurity for me.. I just feel like there's so much of you, versions I never saw, people I never met, like I missed so much of your life that I lost this major chunk which remains a mystery, you didn't even know I existed when you were my age.. I want to feel like I know the man I love more than anything in the world but there are these years and years that remain.... undisclosed and I have to accept that.
" I almost feel like an adolescent you wouldn't spare a second glance, that you would be suited with a woman...someone like Harper I guess. Also, your ex there didn't make things better. All this, your past it's...How am I supposed to compete with all this of your past? " I signaled to the drawer, my hand trembling.
"You have nothing to complete with, you are the absolute winner, I chose you and not her or anyone else, cause I never could have lived the way I do now, with you feels so warm and lively, a home, a place where I know I am loved, where I can be vulnerable. You helped heal wounds and scars of a lifetime, you stood by me when I was bitter, arrogant, stubborn beyond reason, everything. You make me the best version of myself. And if you insist on wanting this one" He pointed to the picture.
"I think I have an old shirt. Wait" He held up a finger, walking out to the bedroom. He returned few moments later, wearing a worn out striped shirt, leaving it open along the expanse of his chest.
"Are you wearing my necklace? " It fitted closer to his neck, the gold chain glinting.
"Well, I don't have the black thing.. So I had to improvise. I know I have a past, too much of it, I wanted to get rid of it, move on from so much, anger, grudges, pain and you did that, you guided me to let go, forgive and leave it all behind. The peace you gave me, it beats all of my past in a blink."
I grinned at him. Oh, I never did have to worry about anything, not when I had the best man in this whole damn world.
"Thank you, E"
"Anything for you, Rookie. "

The many faces of John Quincy Adams based upon his portrait by John Singleton Copley.
In 1797, Abigail Adams, wife of John Adams, quite unexpectedly received a shipping case. It contained this portrait of her twenty-eight-year-old son by John Singleton Copley, which Mrs. Susanna Copley had asked her husband to paint as a gift for her old friend. Abigail was delighted, and she wrote to John Quincy Adams on June 23, 1797, “It is allowed to be as fine a portrait as ever was taken, and what renders it peculiarly valuable to me is the expression, the animation, the true Character which gives it so pleasing a likeness . . . It is most elegantly Framed, and is painted in a masterly manner. No present could have been more acceptable.” John and Abigail Adams had visited London in the 1780s and had become friends with the artist and his wife, and Copley had painted a full-length portrait of John Adams in 1783. Copley had also painted a likeness of Abigail Adams, daughter of John and Abigail Adams, probably at about the same time, which was subsequently destroyed by fire. John Quincy Adams responded to his mother in a letter dated July 29, 1797, enlightening her on the circumstances under which his portrait had been painted: "The history of the Portrait which you received last March was this. While I was here, the last time, Mr. Copley told me that Mrs. Copley had long been wishing to send you some token of her remembrance and regard, and thinking that a likeness of your Son, would answer the purpose, requested me to sit to him; which I did accordingly and he produced a very excellent picture, as you see. I had it framed in a manner which might correspond to the merit of the painting, and after I left this Country it was sent out by Mr. Copley. . . . It is therefore to the delicate politeness of Mr. and Mrs. Copley, that we are indebted for a present so flattering to me, and in your maternal kindness so acceptable to you. They are well, with all their family and continue to remember you with affection."
John Quincy Adams was serving as the United States Minister to the Netherlands in 1796 when he sat for Copley, having been appointed by President George Washington in 1794. He was resident in London for several months in 1795 and 1796 to conduct negotiations concerning the ratification of the Jay Treaty, which resolved many issues remaining from the American Revolution. Even though Adams was a relatively young man, he had been chosen for these important positions because of his extraordinary education and upbringing. Since he had often accompanied his father when he was sent to Europe on government business, the younger Adams had traveled to France, Spain, the Low Countries, England, the German States, Russia, and Sweden by the time he was seventeen. Often John Adams’s business required lengthy stays, and John Quincy Adams had therefore been enrolled in schools in Paris and Amsterdam. Back in the United States in 1786, Adams entered Harvard College, was elected to Phi Beta Kappa, and graduated the following year. Subsequently he studied law in Newburyport, Massachusetts, and then began to practice law in Boston.
Adams recorded seven sittings for his portrait from February to April 1796. Two of the notations provide an elucidating glimpse into the experience of posing for Copley. On March 4 he wrote: “At Mr. Copley’s all the morning sitting for my picture. Conversation with him political, metaphysical, and critical. His opinions not accurate, but well meaning.” On March 28: “At Mr. Copley’s all morning, sitting again for my picture. Stayed there too long gazing at his Charles [Charles I ], and at a portrait of the three youngest princesses [The Three Youngest Daughters of King George III, 1785, Royal Collection, United Kingdom], a finely finished thing.”
In a stylish oval format, the portrait shows a rather debonair John Quincy Adams with powdered hair, dressed in a black frock coat with a white stock and a glimpse of a pink waistcoat. He is set against a red curtain and a crepuscular landscape. Copley carefully delineated Adams’s features but painted the costume and background with dashing and loose brushwork.
Shortly after the portrait was completed, Adams became engaged to Louisa Catherine Johnson in London. He went on to a brilliant political career, serving in the United States Senate, as Minister to Russia, as Minister to England, and as Secretary of State. In 1825 he was elected the sixth president of the United States, and after he lost his bid for re-election, he represented Plymouth, Massachusetts, in Congress for the rest of his life. Adams also went on to have his portrait painted by many of the leading artists of his day; in all he sat for at least sixty likenesses. Of all these portraits, Adams decided that “Copley’s Portrait of 1796, Stuart’s head of 1825, and Durand’s of 1836 . . . are the only ones worthy of being preserved.

The Sisters' Secret Seaside Trip: Chapter 1
sena, no, you're already perfect just the way you are
next part: (chapter 2)
(tw for mentions of dieting and mild body image issues)
Following her graduation from High School, Narumi Sena began to take on more modelling job offers. With her good relationships between herself and both her younger sister, Mona, and her boyfriend, Hamanaka Midori, she was thriving, in her work life and her personal life alike.
One day, in the middle of Summer, a new job offer came in for Sena. And the details of that offer were—
Sena: Thanks for your hard work!
Cameraman: Good work out there, Sena~! You did great in today’s shoot.
Sena: Thank you very much. I look forward to working with you again.
Sena: (I had fun wearing cute clothes today, too.)
Sena: (I don’t have any other jobs left today, so… I’ll be able to reach home earlier than usual and give Midori a call)
Manager: Sena! Do you have a moment?
Sena: Ah, hi, Manager!
Manager: This fashion magazine has chosen you to be the model for their swimsuit special. Do you want to accept their offer?
Sena: That’s… a really famous magazine!
Sena: I’m so happy they picked me! Please allow me to do it!
Manager: Okay, I’ll get back to them. Here, I bought this magazine for reference, so feel free to take it back with you.
Manager: The models featured in it are all beauties, so you have to give it your all too, okay?
Sena: (...Wow, no kidding.)
Sena: (Their models are all slim and stylish… from the cover… to the pictures on the pages.)
Sena: (If I’m going to model for this magazine, I’ve got to slim down too…!)
Sena: Hello! Midori?
Midori: “Yo Sena. You sure are in an awfully great mood today, yeah?”
Sena: Not at all. I’m super exhausted today! It was really tiring, you know?!
Sena: (But… the sound of Midori’s voice recharges me in a flash.)
Sena: Ah, right, listen to this! I’ve got great news to share!
Midori: “Ooh, what’s up?”
Sena: A magazine that I’ve always loved asked me to be their swimsuit model.
Midori: “Swi-swimsuit?”
Sena: Yup! And the shoot will be held on-site by the sea too!
Sena: And even though just that is reason enough to look forward to the shoot, the staff I’ll be working with are all amazing too…
Midori: “...”
Sena: …Huh? Midori?
Midori: “I’m worried.”
Sena: Eh?
Midori: “I’m worried cuz you’ll be in a swimsuit! You’re already really c-cute just the way you are, so…”
Sena: …!
Sena: (...He just called me cute.)
Midori: “There’ll be dudes on site too, right? I know work is work, but…”
Sena: Hehe, I’ll be fine. I won’t be working with any male models.
Sena: And there won’t be any men amongst the staff too. I heard that it’s their company’s policy to only work with women…
Sena: Plus, the shoot will be done by a female photographer who’s all the rage these days! Isn’t it amazing?!
Midori: “...Yeah, guess you’re right.”
Midori: “It’s proof that all your efforts have paid off, Sena. So of course I gotta root for you.”
Midori: “My bad, please forget I said that.”
Sena: No need. Thank you.
Sena: …It made me a little happy to hear you say that.
Midori: “...!”
Midori: “Ah—... Um…”
Sena: Uhh… um…
Sena: B-but, but! That’s precisely why I have to do my very best!
Sena: There are lots of stylish models all around, so I’ve got to slim down more for the shoot!
Midori: “Ya think so? You’re already so slim, so do you really need to trim down even more?”
Midori: “Models sure have it rough, huh…”
Sena: Yup! I’ll be on a diet as of tomorrow! I’ll give it my all!
Midori: “Kay, I’ll be rooting for you. But don’t overdo it, yeah?”

Your Graduation Robe Checklist: Must-Know Tips for a Memorable Ceremony
Graduation day is a milestone event, a moment to celebrate years of hard work and dedication. A key component of this celebration is the iconic graduation robe. The right robe doesn’t just symbolize achievement; it ensures you look polished and professional for the big day. For those looking for top-notch graduation robes in Dubai, finding the right style, fit, and accessories can make all the difference. With Gradrags, you’ll have all the resources you need to make sure your robe complements the importance of the occasion. Here’s a checklist to guide you through choosing the perfect graduation robe.
1. Choose the Right Robe Style
Graduation robes come in various styles and colors, typically reflecting the level of degree and school colors. For instance, bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral robes vary in design, sleeve style, and length. If you’re in Dubai, Gradrags offers a variety of graduation robes in Dubai suited to each academic level, ensuring you find something both stylish and appropriate. Selecting the correct style not only meets ceremony standards but also adds to your overall appearance.
2. Pick the Appropriate Material
Dubai’s warm climate makes it essential to select a robe material that is breathable yet elegant. Lightweight polyester blends are ideal for graduation robes as they offer comfort, durability, and an elegant finish. Gradrags carries a range of graduation robes in Dubai made from high-quality, breathable materials. Choosing a robe that keeps you cool while looking sharp will allow you to focus on the ceremony rather than any discomfort.
3. Ensure the Right Fit
A well-fitting robe is crucial for a polished look. Graduation robes should not be too loose or tight and typically reach mid-calf. Avoid robes that are excessively long or short, as they can look awkward in photos. Take accurate measurements of your height and chest circumference when choosing a robe. If you’re ordering from Gradrags, consult their sizing guide to ensure a perfect fit. This attention to fit will help you feel comfortable and look your best throughout the ceremony.
4. Coordinate with the Cap and Tassel
The graduation cap and tassel are essential accessories that complete the graduation outfit. The tassel color often signifies your academic field, while the cap adds a formal touch to your look. Make sure your cap matches the robe in style and color. Gradrags offers coordinated caps and tassels, making it easy to achieve a cohesive look. Remember, you’ll be moving the tassel from right to left during the ceremony, so make sure it’s attached securely to avoid any mishaps.
5. Consider Personalizing Your Look
For those who want a unique touch, consider adding subtle, personal touches to your graduation robe. Adding a decorative pin, sash, or colorful stole can personalize your outfit without detracting from the ceremony’s formality. At Gradrags, you’ll find options for customizing graduation robes in Dubai with add-ons that reflect your achievements or heritage. These small details will add sentimental value and help make your graduation photos even more memorable.
6. Practice Walking in Your Robe and Cap
It may sound simple, but practicing how you walk, sit, and even pose in your robe and cap can help you feel more confident on graduation day. Graduation robes can feel a bit different from regular clothing, so getting used to the fit and movement is essential. Try on your robe, cap, and any accessories in advance. Check how your robe looks from different angles and make sure the cap is positioned correctly. Practicing ahead of time helps you avoid last-minute adjustments on the big day.
7. Plan for Wrinkle-Free Robes
Creases and wrinkles can distract from the polished look of your graduation robe. To ensure your robe is picture-perfect, steam it the day before the ceremony. Gradrags’ graduation robes in Dubai are made from materials that are easy to steam and maintain, so you can achieve a crisp, wrinkle-free look with minimal effort. Remember, hanging your robe up immediately after receiving it is a simple way to keep it smooth.
8. Double-Check for Essential Items
Don’t leave any detail unchecked! Besides your robe, cap, and tassel, make sure you have any required cords, stoles, or pins as part of your outfit. Some graduations include honors cords or specific sashes representing academic achievements. Gradrags offers a full line of graduation accessories so you can easily find what you need. Having everything ready beforehand ensures you won’t be scrambling to find items on the day of your ceremony.
9. Prepare for Photos and Post-Ceremony Celebrations
Your graduation robe isn’t just for the ceremony; it will feature prominently in photos and during any post-graduation celebrations. Take time to make sure the robe sits properly, the tassel is adjusted, and the overall outfit is ready for close-up shots. Gradrags’ graduation robes in Dubai are designed with photo moments in mind, so you can be assured that your robe will look flattering in both formal and candid shots.
10. Keep Your Robe as a Souvenir or Return It on Time
If you’re renting your graduation robe, like those available from Gradrags in Dubai, remember to return it on time. However, if you’ve purchased it, consider keeping it as a memento of your achievement. Many graduates treasure their robes as a keepsake, a reminder of all they’ve accomplished. If you’re inclined to keep yours, storing it properly will help preserve it for years to come.
Final Thoughts
Graduation day is a milestone, and your robe plays a major role in celebrating this occasion. Whether you're opting for a classic look or adding personalized details, following this checklist will ensure you’re fully prepared. With Gradrags’ collection of graduation robes in Dubai, you’ll find everything you need to look your best on this significant day. After all, graduation is a celebration of success, so dress the part and enjoy every moment of your achievement!

Graduation Nail Designs to Feel Like a Queen
Graduation is a milestone that marks the end of one chapter and the beginning of another. It’s a celebration of hard work, perseverance, and achievement, and of course, it deserves to be commemorated with style.
One of the best ways to feel like royalty on this special day is with fabulous graduation nail designs. Whether you’re walking across the stage or posing for pictures with family and friends, your nails can be a beautiful extension of your celebratory mood. Let’s dive into some elegant and trendy graduation nail ideas that will make you feel like a queen on your big day!
1. Royal Glitter and Gold
What better way to channel your inner queen than with a touch of sparkle? Glittery nails in gold, silver, or rose gold are perfect for a graduation celebration. Opt for an ombre effect where the glitter gradually fades from the tip of your nails toward the cuticle for a stunning, elegant look. You can also accent your nails with gold foil or add small rhinestones for extra glam.
2. Classic French Tips with a Twist
French tips are timeless, but you can modernize this classic look by incorporating fun colors or designs. Try a matte finish with a pop of color, like soft pinks, lavender, or even bold red, for a chic yet simple design. For an extra touch, add subtle embellishments like pearls or small crystals at the nail’s edge for a sophisticated, regal effect.
3. Pastel Dream
Pastel shades are perfect for a softer, dreamy look that still feels elegant. Soft pinks, mint greens, lilacs, or peaches paired with gold accents or small gems can give you a delicate, fairytale-like vibe. Pastel nails combined with a little shine will not only add to your beauty but also make your hands look feminine and fresh.
4. Floral Elegance
Florals are a beautiful way to incorporate nature and femininity into your graduation nails. Opt for soft hand-painted floral designs on a neutral base like nude, white, or pale pink. Whether you go for delicate roses, peonies, or daisies, this design brings a touch of elegance and softness. Add some subtle glitter or gold dots for a regal and refined look.
5. Nude and Minimalist
Sometimes less is more, especially when it comes to nails for a formal occasion like graduation. Nude nails with minimalist details like thin gold lines or geometric patterns can give off a sophisticated yet understated vibe. This style will complement any gown and leave you feeling polished and graceful.
6. Emerald Queen
Emerald green is the color of royalty, so why not bring it into your graduation nail designs? A rich emerald hue with hints of gold or silver glitter can give you a majestic feel. You can also add a few accent nails with intricate designs like crowns or stars to really highlight your queenly aura.
7. Matte Monarch
Matte nails are sleek and stylish, giving a sophisticated finish to your graduation look. Try a deep, bold color like dark purple, royal blue, or even black for a powerful, regal statement. A matte top coat transforms any color into a luxurious, velvety finish. To keep it fun, incorporate metallic accents like silver stripes or geometric patterns to add interest and sparkle.
8. Nail Art with Your Graduation Year
For a personalized touch, incorporate your graduation year or school’s initials into your nails. This can be done subtly with small lettering, numbers, or symbols on accent nails. Use a metallic color or bold hues to make these details stand out, ensuring that your nails are as unique as your accomplishments.
9. Pearl Accents
Pearls are timeless and exude luxury and elegance. Using pearl embellishments on your nails can create a delicate, sophisticated look fit for a queen. Whether they’re placed along the cuticle or scattered in small clusters over your nails, pearls will elevate your nail design to the next level.
10. Crystal-Embellished Royalty
For a nail look that radiates true royalty, opt for nails adorned with crystals or rhinestones. These can be placed strategically at the base of the nail or scattered throughout the design. Whether you choose clear crystals for a sleek look or colored ones for a pop of color, these embellishments will make your nails the star of the show.
Final Thoughts
Graduation day is all about celebrating your success and embracing the exciting future ahead. Your nails can serve as a reflection of this monumental achievement and allow you to feel like the queen you are.
Whether you go for glitter, florals, matte designs, or something bold and unique, your graduation nails should embody your personal style and the significance of the occasion. So, take your pick, and let your nails shine as brightly as your future!

The Charm of Photo Locket Necklace: A Timeless Treasure
In a world where personal expression and sentimentality converge, photo locket necklaces have emerged as a cherished accessory that combines both style and nostalgia. These elegant pieces of jewelry allow you to carry precious memories close to your heart, making them a unique and meaningful addition to any collection. Whether you're marking a special occasion or simply celebrating loved ones, a photo locket necklace offers a timeless way to keep your memories alive.
The Allure of Photo Locket Necklaces
Photo locket necklaces are more than just pieces of jewelry; they are miniature keepsakes that hold significant personal meaning. Traditionally crafted with intricate designs, these lockets open to reveal space for a small photograph or memento. The ability to carry a photo of a loved one, a cherished moment, or even a personal note within the locket adds a layer of intimacy that other jewelry simply can't match.
Design Options and Personalization
The beauty of photo locket necklaces lies in their versatility. They come in a variety of designs, each catering to different tastes and preferences:
Classic Heart Lockets: Heart-shaped lockets are a timeless choice, symbolizing love and affection. They are perfect for keeping a picture of a significant other, family member, or close friend close to your heart.
Vintage-Inspired Lockets: For those who appreciate a touch of history, vintage-inspired lockets often feature ornate detailing and antique finishes. These lockets evoke a sense of nostalgia, making them ideal for commemorating special moments from the past.
Modern Minimalist Lockets: Contemporary designs often feature sleek, simple lines with minimalist aesthetics. These lockets are perfect for those who prefer a more understated yet stylish look.
Custom Engraved Lockets: Adding a personal touch, custom engravings allow you to inscribe names, dates, or short messages on the locket’s exterior. This customization makes the locket even more special and unique.
Choosing the Perfect Photo for Your Locket
Selecting the right photo to place inside your locket is an important step. Opt for a high-resolution image that captures the essence of the moment or person you wish to remember. Depending on the locket’s size, you may need to have the photo professionally resized and cut to fit. Many jewelers offer photo resizing services, ensuring that your chosen image fits perfectly within the locket.
The Perfect Gift for Every Occasion
Photo locket necklaces make for incredibly thoughtful gifts, suitable for a variety of occasions. For anniversaries, they serve as a romantic gesture, allowing partners to keep a cherished photo of each other close. For birthdays, they can be a meaningful way to celebrate a loved one’s special day, especially when paired with a photo from a memorable moment.
These lockets also make wonderful keepsakes for graduations, commemorating the journey and achievements of a loved one. For parents and grandparents, a photo locket with pictures of their children or grandchildren is a heartwarming reminder of family bonds.
Caring for Your Photo Locket Necklace
To keep your photo locket necklace in pristine condition, it’s important to handle it with care. Regularly clean the locket with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust and prevent tarnishing. When not in use, store the locket in a jewelry box or pouch to protect it from scratches and damage.
Photo locket necklaces are more than just beautiful accessories; they are intimate treasures that hold personal significance. By choosing a locket that resonates with your style and selecting a meaningful photo, you create a unique piece of jewelry that tells a story and keeps cherished memories close to your heart. Embrace the charm of photo lockets and celebrate the moments and people that matter most.
