went back to reread the scene where yoojin climbs hyunjae to get away from those plant tentacle monsters and i came to the realization that

yoojin is afraid of suffocation. its something that comes up a lot. every once in a while he'll mention that grace is a damage nullification item, not a barrier item, and that wont protect him from like. getting swallowed and suffocating in a monster's stomach. <- a sentence that has been repeated maybe three times now, with variation.

i just thought he thought tentacles were gross (valid) but in the scene where he literally climbs on hyunjae's shoulders he mentions that the tentacles could get in his mouth or up his nose and suffocate him. (and i guess also that slimes could swallow you whole and suffocate you. idk hyunjae mentioned slimes afterward so)

anyway this is all extremely funny to me because taewon strangled him the first time they met and yoojin made it his personal mission to become besties with him

taewon then proceeded to strangle him another couple times along the way
