Latest, Laeeqah Ryklief.. Firstly adversity is not an excuse for bad behavior. Irrespective of what you go through you, you pdon't display yourself in the manner in which she has. There is never going to be justification for this stupidity. I've read the post where her back ground was given. My opinion is that, had she been affected that badly or if she was that out off control social workers would have taken the necessary steps to ensure she gets the help needed. If they went as far as taking another sibling away, they would have done it to her. As minor if she had refused help, then laeeqah would have been put in a facility against here will. There's court applications that can be made where a person is stated to be a danger to themselves as well those around them. If Laeeqa refuses help, Laeeqa can get forced into a place that best serves her and treats her and rehabilitates her so that she can fit into society and live a life that's problem free. This is no longer a cry for help, she's showing blatant disrespect. If she wants to act grown and put herself in these situations she should be opened to accepting criticism as a grown up. I refuse to feel any sympathy for this girl. People need to understand that kids today often have a mind of their own, and it's not because parents failed in raising their kids or they lacked discipline. We too often blame parents, peer pressure as well as witch craft. It's about time that these kids take responsibility for their actions as well, by constantly feeling sorry them and finding justifications for their bullshit actions, we're basically encouraging their blame shifting games. Making it ok to just float on by, with out owning the fuck up for the things they have done.
