#a booktuber i watch came out with a 2 hour video on her experience reading them and it brought back all the memories#like this series is actually insane. feels like a fever dream looking back on it#strangely enough although it was an absolutely feral reading experience it had no lasting impact on me#it fizzled out right after. it didn't linger at all#which is so weird bc i Remember feeling deranged while reading those books it was crazy. they were so intense and for what#soooo edgy and emo and the torture for the sake of shock value hfjdhfh 😭😭 nuance? don't know her#i could not read something like that now. but the author had a vision and she was like fuck it....i appreciate that
