#still i think i'll reduce the chapter 3 to +1/+0

This may seem a bit dumb question for someone who's main in en server. But I need to prepare myself before chap 6 is coming. Anyway, is chap/book Ignihyde gonna be THAT hard?? I've seen a lot people kept saying they're not ready for chap 6 or good luck for 'that' battle. Is it that difficult?
some preparation would be a good idea, actually! if you just want advice with absolutely no potential spoilers (even vague ones), then I'll say this:
the best thing you can do for yourself is -- for the later part of episode 6 -- try to have at least one SR or SSR card no lower than level 40 for as many characters as possible (specific ones at the bottom 👇👇👇). I've seen 40 as the minimum recommended level but honestly, go as high as you reasonably can, especially with your SSRs.
I'll try to keep spoilers to a minimum, hopefully it'll still make sense :')
SO! most of the frustration revolves around chapters 6-66 and 6-67, which are both split into subroutes with multiple subchapters/battles that follow three different groups of characters. you have to finish all three routes to get to the next chapter, and they force certain requirements that can make it a lot more difficult if you aren't careful:
you build your teams at the start of the chapter, and can't change them without resetting your progress. (if I remember right, you do get a chance to rebuild for 6-67.)
teams are built by character, instead of by card like they normally are, and each one has 2-3 required characters locked into that team. you can use any cards of that character, but you can't use multiple of the same character, or use them in a different team. also, no guest/friend cards.
they tell you what the element of the bosses are, but the other battles are just...whatever. if you can manage more than one 40+ card for a character, having good type coverage will help out a lot (why yes, I did get stuck for an embarrassing amount of time on a low-level rando because I got unlucky with type matchups, what about it).
there's a couple of points where you have to wait several real-time hours before continuing. this doesn't have anything to do with the team building, it was just annoying. c'mon. >:(
to be fair, I think some of the general frustration comes from how out of nowhere it was, so it's sure to be much easier if you go in with some idea of what it'll be like. (on my first attempt I tried to be cute and put everybody with their friends. it...did not go well.) I also had a particularly hard time of it because 1) F2P = less SSRs to carry me, and 2) I hadn't really focused on any cards outside of my special little garden of favorites, so not being able to use multiples of the same character for everything kinda left me boned. I'd be lying if I said it didn't feel great when I finally got through it though!
more specific info:
in 6-66, the bosses are a 5-turn survival battle; in 6-67, they're infinite battles (reduce their HP to 0 to win) and, subsequently, much harder to get past. personally speaking, the Wood one was the hardest for me because it heals itself between turns (and also I had literally no good Rook cards at the time). your mileage may vary!
Team 1 - required characters are Vil, Epel and Rook, boss element is Wood
Team 2 - required characters are Leona and Jamil, boss element is Water
Team 3 - required characters are Riddle and Azul, boss element is Fire
teams are 5 characters as per the usual, so make sure you have good cards of the required boys and at least six to complement them, plus a few more if you want to be careful. this is ONLY for those two chapters, which are pretty late in the episode (for JP it came out as part of the final episode 6 update) so you've got time to prep!
there's the obligatory overblot battle later on that is technically harder (stronger + more HP and all that), but it felt SO much easier in comparison just because it was back to normal Twst rules. really hoping that episode 7 doesn't pull its own shenanigans 💀
#twisted wonderland#twisted wonderland episode 6 spoilers#going overboard on the spoiler warnings i know#it really isn't much of anything#i know twst spoilers are SUPER hard to avoid though (especially main story!) so i've been trying to tag appropriately and all#and honestly if anyone's managed to dodge them so far then they are more powerful than i will ever be#who am i to tell them nay

Hi! Alright, I was tagged by @suckerfordeansfreckles and I'm glad she tagged me!! Here I go:
1.) What is your total word count on ao3?
=> 0. I'm not on ao3. I wanna be though, and I'll join soon, and then I'm *wishing* it'll be lots and lots of thousands. Maybe millions.
2.) How often do you write?
=> Alright. This is something I pride myself on. I write pretty regularly, like, half a chapter of at least a few hundred words every day, and I feel useless if I am not able to write anything at all. Sometimes, just for the sake of writing, I write poetry or drabbles, just keep using my words and brain so that they don't rust. So, yeah, except for when I have writer's block, which happens - unfortunately - near the middle-portion of each book I've ever written, yeah, I write everyday.
3.) Do you have a routine for writing?
=> Uh...frankly...no. 'When'ever, 'where'ver, 'how'ever. I just need a pen and paper (or a keypad works too) and I'm good.
4.) What's your favorite kinks/ tropes/ pairings?
=> Uh, I don't really have a 'favorite' kink, but I'll go for one of my favorites: wing kink (that kinda tells you what kind of fictions I read, doesn't it?) I really like fluffy happy endings more than smut though, and am a total sucker for roommate AUs, playboyxgoodboy/girl tropes, and often angsty fics as long as they have a happy ending (I don't usually read stuff which doesn't have happy endings) and unsurprisingly, Destiel is my favorite pairing. I ship them with all my heart and soul. Sabriel comes next, followed by Dramione, and Percabeth.
5.) Do you have a favorite fic of yours?
=> Meh, nothing singularly comes to mind as of at-the-moment. But I'm gonna have to say the demon!dean fic I wrote (can't remember the title...did I give it a title?) Or 'PERFECT' (based on Ed-Sheeran's song) and also 'Gabriel joins Team Free Will'.
6.) Your fic with the most kudos?
=> Again, not on ao3. N/A
7.) Anything you don't like about your writing?
=> Uh, yes! My complete inability to describe feelings! I am the kind of writer who'll think of a scene with all the descriptions and dialogues and fail to put in the thoughts of the character properly (which is why I always do third-person-POV). Also, I'm bad at writing short fics, which sucks, because most of stuff doesn't even fit in tumblr's 100-text-block-limit ughh. And lastly, I've been told by friends that sometimes I can be a bit too descriptive, and forget that the reader has a perfectly functioning imagination. I'm focussing on leaving spaces for the reader to think rather than tell them what to think precisely. Also reduce the amount of cliches. I hope to improve, and become a writer as good as the writers of my favorite fics!
8.) Now something you do like!
=> Alright! I...I *think* I am good with dialogues. And 'character'isation. And also, sometimes, creating descriptive scenes. That's it. Still learning...still better-ifying.
I'm tagging @ohparis @lucile-carter @jimminovak @iamcharliebradburylevelperfect and @emmii4 !! And everyone else who wishes to do this!!!
I was tagged by @reallyelegantsharkfish (and I still can’t believe I get so say something like that) and @jemariel. Thanks guys <3
What is your total word count on AO3?
Apparently, it’s 26,639. Which is about twice as much as I was expecting, but is still not a lot, lol.
How often do you write?
I am so, so lazy atm :( But I am trying to write at least once a day, even if it ends up being only 100 words.
Do you have a routine for writing?
I have a notebook dedicated to fics, where I scribble down any idea I come up with. It’s a mess, much like my brain. Whenever I can motivate myself enough, I get on my computer and start actually writing the fic over there.
What’s your favourite kinks/tropes/pairing?
I don’t think I have a favourite kink or trope. Much like shark, I enjoy pretty much every fic with a happy ending (and a lot of love). I do very much love the bedsharing, roommates and fake dating tropes. Cause I’m a simple girl :)
Favourite pairing is without a question destiel. Is anyone surprised?
Do you have a favourite fic of yours? (I’m gonna do this like jemariel and answer this question on it’s own)
I really like The Truth about the fearless Hunter, a little canon-compliant thing about Dean and his feelings.
Your fic with the most kudos?
Dean Winchester has no Control over his Mouth (217 kudos), an unconventional soulmate AU that was a lot of fun to write.
Anything you don’t like about your writing?
Oh man, yes. A lot. I’m still horrible with punctuation in English, apparently. I feel like there are a few words I LOVE and use way too much. I’m one of the “baby writers” of the fandom, and while that is okay and mabe someday I’ll grow out of it, I very much think that my writing is garbage. Especially compared to other writers.
Now something you do like!
I think I’m alright with depicting feelings? Sometimes I create cute, little, emotional scenes. I usually like those *shrugs*
I’m tagging @saltnhalo @casgirlwrites @robotsnchicks @kathrinerose and @misha-moose-dean-burger-lover
