Now that I've finished season 2 I can confidently say that the most realistic part was that the FBI was so incompetent at their job

Hannibal season 1 was really fun and interesting even though you had to suspend your belief a little bit, but season 2 is something else. Like, every episode Hannibal is using his Nagito level luck to somehow escape every situation he gets in while also somehow making Will look worse in the process

#the pyre #how do you have like 3 of your best agents in his house attacking one after another #and not only do they all fail but they all get injured worse than their subject in the process #I'm kinda dissapointed bc the fight we saw in ep 1 rly set the tone of the season for me #that this was going to be Jack v Hannibal where at the end of the season one of the two would be dead #so the fact that they're both alive and so is like half of the side characters that were killed off but brought back is kinda disappointing #I think that season 1 is my favorite so far just bc I rly enjoy seeing Will solve all those murders #I doubt season 3 will go back to that #and I think that they next season is going to get even more unbelievable #but I think season 3 gonna be all about catching hannibal #and if he's in hiding it's more believable that they can't catch him #compared to him being on scene of multiple murders when multiple ppl suspect him of being a deranged serial killer #and lastly I had to talk about the yaoi ofc #wasn't rly feeling it but i totally get shippers after season 2 #them ending the season with hannibal stabbing will gave me flashbacks to Eve stabbing Villanelle at the end of season 1 #ugh I miss killing eve so much #best lesbian show ever #still haven't finished (and never will) bc I refuse to watch Villanelle's death
