the trouble with eating gummies (fruit variety) is that you do have to savor them one by one or it's like you didn't eat them at all. but it's so much more fun to rip that slutty wrapper open and guzzle them down in one racing and shameless gulp. i feel like a dragon eating a bunch of scrumptious villager babies

this may be a ramble but i am thinking of not writing toxic ellie... i have a few requests for it (over 20) and maybe i'm healing but as someone who was in those relationships like they are not fun or cute and i dont feel like glorifying them anymore. i think this community as a whole likes to write that stuff and that's fine i'm not saying no one should but i also don't want anyone reading them to think any of that behavior is okay??? being manipulated into having sex is not romantic or ok, being manipulated and used is not romantic. the reason you may feel the way you do about 'toxic' fics is because it triggers ur fight or flight and makes u feel something. real love is so boring and sitting on the couch with your lover watching some shitty show or talking about your day with someone you trust. no relationship should feel like some of this stuff. idk why i'm even writing this think piece but i think i am becoming more conscious of what i put into the world and the impact it has on others. you deserve to feel loved and safe in your relationships, no matter how boring it may seem. you deserve good love, please don't glorify things you see in this tag, and that includes work i have put out.

so yeah, this is me saying i'm moving away from 'toxic' fics and stuff of that nature in which behavior is clearly abusive. i love u all so much, i want you to be safe and happy. fanfiction should be an escape.

okay fun little digital art tip i've learned over time. if you get attached to the way you drew something (a hand; a pose; a facial expression) but you realize it doesn't work for your perspective/composition/for whatever reason, it throws the piece off? just copy and paste it to a new layer and redraw what you needed to fix. that way you can keep it, maybe find a way to use it or reference it. but you don't have to sacrifice it. and for the most part, whenever i've done this, what i end up redrawing looks better 9 times out of 10. it just helps with the initial heartbreak of killing a good drawing for the sake of the big picture to have it saved in a back pocket somewhere
