I think there's not enough emphasis on the fact that the time where Arthurian Era is set (the late 5th/early 6th century) is also the time of the British Saints.

There are many miracle-working saints that have interacted with the Camelot gang. Dubricius, Illtud, Dewi, Gildas, etc. have all met Arthur.

There is also a number of female saints, both in Britain and in Britanny, that lived in this time period. You have St. Dwynwen, the various daughters of Brychan (who have founded churches and monasteries!), and St. Gwen Teirbron ("thrice-breasted"):

She established several churches and chapels in Devon and Cornwall, including St Wenn, St Kew and Cheristow. When returning to Talgarth to visit her family she was murdered by the heathen Saxons who were attacking the town, thus receiving her martyr’s crown at age 29.

Poldark season 4 ep6

Honestly if season 4 was the last one I saw id stop watching because everything is horrible and I don’t watch tv to suffer. Im not enjoying this as much as 3 .

Its good to see ross make a difference and George get fucked over a picket fence at every turn hes spent 4 seasons getting what he wants its nice to see him get shut down. i guess the main plot is ross time in parliament but its a little all over the shop. They’ve just put so much up in the air with only 3 eps left to resolve it on but i suppose they did it with s5 so i have no reason to believe they cant fix everything by the end. 

I like that mel is smiling at her husband being away for so long now, rather than being angry
