We got many Dibs

Beta Dib 

The first concept art of Dib. He’s a scientist prodigy with an interest in aliens, He’s kinda like Dexter from Dexter’s Laboratory according to Jhonen, so he changed him so he could stray away from that. Not a lot of information, he is probably a little bit like the other Dibs, just slightly more rational from the way he poses here. (I love the little XP thing he’s doing, that’s a very Dib thing to do) 

Pilot Dib 

Feral, chaotic and agressively mean-spirited, “Scared of bEAnSSSS, ssPACE BOI?!” is the best and most quotable thing Dib has ever said in the franchise. He’s the least patient of the Dib variations, he is way more selfish and abrasive to people around him than any other incarnation. I think the show bible reflect’s this Dib’s personality. He’s definitely a lot more arrogant and edgy here too. 

Series Dib

The one everyone is the most familiar with, he is less meaner and arrogant than the last Dib and probably a lot more pathetic and calmer. He goes through a lot of change in the series, starting out less edgy than his predecessor but slowly becoming more like his later versions. He’s shown to be annoying, abrasive, sadistic and much more obsessive to the point he comes off as rude and crazy to most people around him. And BOY is he much crazier. He is the main antagonist of the show. However, we can still empathize with his actions and still see him as the hero. 

Movie Dib

Cutest version, the softest and most emotionally sensitive of the Dibs. He acts less like a serious and angry edgy outcast and more like a child with a passion for the paranormal and daddy issues that he lets get to him at times. He and his family get along a lot better though, and he is a lot more capable of showing empathy and remorse than Series Dib. (Not that there weren’t times Series Dib didn’t feel sorry for someone, and Movie Dib still does act selfishly throughout the movie) 

He can also be referred as Comic Dib too, since Movie Dib is more based off the comics than the show. (Or not as the plot for the comics are different and separate from the movie’s timeline.) 

We also have AU versions of him too (one of them is one I made up) Irken Dib

Dib in this au is an irken, usually a scientist who is related to Professor Membrane (one of the tallest) and Gaz (either a SIT unit he owns or another irken in this au) that ends up going to earth to do research or invade earth. He ends up learning about paranormal stuff and begins focusing some of his studies on that while also dealing with this annoying arrogant rebel kid at skool named Zim, and his dumb brother Gir who knows he’s an alien. 

Role Swap

Dib and Gaz switch personalities and roles in this au, with Dib acting like Gaz who is his annoying paranormal investigator sister and is always pestering him about stupid Tak being an alien. He could care less since he thinks she’s not as competent as other invaders like Zim. He’s much more apathetic and chilled out, he probably likes the same things Gaz does like video games and pizza. 

Personality Swap 

Almost like the role swap, except only their interests and roles stay the same. Dib is a much more successful paranormal investigator and is much more focused on his business then caring about Gaz’s annoying and meaningless competitive video game rivalry with Tak. Zim is still better than Tak, but he loves himself much more and his robots are still much more efficiant compared to Tak’s. Gaz drags Dib along to watch her embarrass Tak while also stopping her from taking over the earth, Dib only helps ocassionally but cares more about stopping Zim since he poses a much more serious threat than she does.

TANGO, Daria Solar

Tango, tango is a dance of seduction, of desire, of play between the partners, of a woman who is following but resisting her partner in the same time. This is a duel. Tango is energy, energy fluctuating between the partners, rising and falling, sometimes lost in the sspace, sometimes hit hard into the floor, it's all about energy...this energy is visible in every tango photo, a dancer will immediatelly see where the energy goes, it is loose or captured - and I was trying to paint this energy in the form of streams of colour... I have danced tango for 5 years or so, and am in love with it. These beautiful young people are Majo Martinera and Rodrigo Fonti - a couple of tango instructors who permitted me to use their photo to paint, what I believe to be the best portrayal of tango.
