Honestly I want any anti-Huntlow person at this point who says the couple has no appeal or thematic value and is just a generic hetero ship with the attractive male love interest to look my disabled ass squarely in the eye (looking down, with your ability to stand.) and tell me that people who look like Hunter are considered "conventionally attractive", and that I've not gone to disability and autism support groups filled with people with face/body scarring and disfigurings that severe (often tied to disabilities),
and conditions that will never get better that had literally no friends outside the support groups because y'all treated them like freaks for having a misformed lip or not having full upright-ness of their body (I have a feeling Hunter's eye bags might never go away, like I feel the 24-hour eye bags I have had in real life for several years might never go away),
and that the choice to portray a love story between a disfigured, fundamentally different person in love with a healthy plus sized Asian girl who was bullied and given severe mental issues and now finds strength in his reassurance and literal help as one of the people who helps stabilize her so she can be a badass.... is conventional and what cishet white audiences want lmao.
We have 3 bisexual female characters, the two leads are given female and nonbinary love interests with more screentime, and the m/f bisexual couple is late-series and with a gender dynamic of a strong woman who fights to protect her friends and domestic-violence survivor partner, who now is being characterized primarily by his desire to be soft and domestic (sewing? gardening? wanting to just be seen as a human?) isn't still groundbreaking? There literally is no way it could be more fair and appealing of a concept to you.
Like. I'm starting to think maybe some of y'all have bad reasons for being vocally against the ship which is full of people who just want to be positive and left to themselves (and have much of the crew on their side as fans). Maybe if a ship like this is being put in your gay show, it's just as groundbreaking for different reasons you don't see.
Some of us cripples (including us queers) have partners who Hunter and Willow remind us of (especially with the amount of transgender grimwalker Hunter interpretations I've seen or fan concepts where Willow eventually starts using her plant magic to help stabilize Hunter's body in older age from Grimwalker decay as a partial root being), mostly people just like you, just more open-minded and willing to see us (and literally hear us, if you've seen none of this, somehow, yet) as people.
And I don't just speak for myself, I have a plus sized South Asian bisexual girl friend who says Hunter and Willow's gender dynamic was one of the few times she ever saw herself in television and loves it equally as me.

🦇 A Crown So Cursed Book Review 🦇
Rating: ⭐⭐⭐
❝ Don't forget to mind your Muchness, and keep moving forward. ❞
❓ #QOTD What's your favorite fantasy retelling OR your favorite character from Alice in Wonderland? ❓ 🦇 The long-awaited final installment of L.L. McKinney's Nightmare-Verse trilogy is finally here! The Nightmares that are leaking into the mortal realm are no longer so easily defeated with Figment Blades. With the monsters now seeping through the Veil, Alice and her crew must save Wonderland from itself. Between Hatta's Madness, Humphrey and Chess's strange, shared nightmares, and Alice's family in danger (again), it's almost more than Alice can take. Can she confront Wonderland's dark past to save the mortal realm's potentially darker future?
[ Find my full review below or on: Goodreads | Insta | StoryGraph ]
💜 L.L. McKinney is a magical moon goddess who weaves words with exquisite, unmeasured Muchness. As always, McKinney excels with both her word choice and dialogue, painting vivid pictures and powerful, raw characters that bounce right off the page. There's no refuting how fun, creative, and enchanting the entire Nightmare-Verse series is, and McKinney's spellbinding prose is perfect for an Alice in Wonderland retelling. How can you not love the badass, multi-fandom-loving bi baby girl that is McKinney's Alice? From the first chapter, readers are rushed off their feet, out of this reality, and into Alice's. Every fight scene conjures spectacular, action-packed imagery. Each line of dialogue sounds like you're talking to a familiar, fascinating friend. Alice in Wonderland is one of my all-time favorite classics, and no one has rewritten that world quite like McKinney has. I devoured this book in one sitting, as I'm sure many readers will (after all, we've been waiting since 2019 for this final installment, and it's finally here!).
🦇 Though I'm sure this will be a five-star read for many, this is my least favorite of the Nightmare-Verse books. The entire story, while action-packed, seemed rushed, as if the author was trying to fill 300+ pages to get to the grand (unsurprising) reveal. There are many plot points that are never fully resolved. For starters, the relationships in the book are a mess (Alice/Hatta, Alice/Chess, Chess/Humphrey, and Alice/Haruka...the latter seems like it was thrown in there to remind us that Alice is bi, even though she's kind of dating Hatta at the time?). There's a reveal involving Hatta, Chess, and Humphrey that gets mind-wiped, leaving us with no resolution there (a reveal that complicates the confusing ships mentioned above). Perhaps the most frustrating is the reliance on magic as a quick fix to a messy plot. The majority of the story is meant to get Alice to an epic final battle, but there aren't enough clue drops or slight reveals placed throughout the story to build suspense or intrigue.
🦇 Recommended to fans of Alice in Wonderland retellings, action-packed fantasy fight scenes, and magical mayhem.
✨ The Vibes ✨ ♠️ Alice in Wonderland Retelling ♥️ Third in a Trilogy ♦️ Love Triangle (Square?) ♣️ Young Adult Fantasy Fiction ♥️ Bisexual MC
🦇 Major thanks to the author @ll_mckinney and publisher @macmillanusa / @mackidbooks / @fiercereads for providing an ARC of this book via Netgalley. 🥰 This does not affect my opinion regarding the book. #ACrownSoCursed

assassins’ amoures
Tumblr media
Fluff alphabet here for my favorite Assassins (and some Templars) to commemorate the 15th year and for Flufftober
Based off their names
E,Z,I,O
Ezio likes to be the equal one in a relationship, although in some more “spicy situations”, I can see him as a soft dom type. You bring out the better qualities of him, even light-hearted teasing aside. Keeping him focused and building him up keeps Ezio going. Even to the ends of the earth, he’ll do what he can to keep you safe and loved. When he’s in love, oh good luck to any trying to grab his attention. Thoughts are of you, with that blushed far off look, even Claudia and Leonardo are teasing him.
A,R,N,O
This boy?? This boi! This boyo is so in love he smiles non stop. Always day dreaming of you, reading pieces of poetry or romance literature that reminds him of you. Favorite nicknames are “my love, darling, heart/mon coeur” or personalized ones solely for you. He is every romantic cliche ever and then some! Adorkably a badass! When he’s not being an Assassin, he’s off in the gardens or taking strolls, and you’re always by his side. Arms linked.
S,H,A,Y 🚢 🌊
On the seas, Shay likes to sit out and spend time with you on the deck. On land, maybe a romantic walk at night. Given how this man left the Colonial Assassins and knew the Templars, there are most definitely secrets that can cause a rift but he claims to do so to protect you. That being said, he’s your hype man! Always guiding you and building you up, since he didn’t have a lot of that from someone he genuinely loves. When he’s away missing you, oh he’s an emotional wreck. Not showing it outwardly, but it’s a storm cloud inside him.
B,A,Y,E,K
Seeing you shoot off an arrow, the sun gleaming in your eyes and hair, you have never looked more ethereal than in this moment. Your strength and focus never fail to amaze Bayek. He sees you as his equal in all matters, though his kisses say otherwise. Passionate and all consuming of your being. Yet even such a focused man is keen to matters of the heart, and his calls for you when he finds the Order and is taken away for his work.
H,A,Y,T,M
A traditional man of sorts, Haytham likes to you spoil you in such ways. Fine clothes and some jewelry, along with long walks in town squares to show you off (in his own way). Being the significant other of the leader of Templars means you are privy to secrets, but Haytham has his reasons (at least he likes to think so). Aside from that, he adores your wit and humor and when away, likes to imagine the fun banter you two would have. He would absolutely be the type to want to marry you, falling into a peaceful domestic routine of sorts.
A,M,U,N,E,T (Aya)
Before and after becoming a Hidden One, Aya admired your presence. You were there for her through the worst of times and when she founded the Assassin’s with Bayek. Being her spouse, co-founder, fellow partner in crime means you have a leader of a wife who also enjoys a good time. She adores you, and you her, calling each other “my love” or “goddess”. Traveling together adds a sense of thrill and excitement in new places, although if you’re ever homesick, Aya/Amunet wants you to share that with her.
E,D,W,A,R
Life on the high seas can be rambunctious but Edward can count on your leadership. Sometimes. When you’re not getting into the crew’s shenanigans. Your fun-serious side, with a dash of ruthlessness, is one of the many becoming qualities he admires in you. When you’re not cracking jokes or death defying stunts/schemes, Kenway does have a softer side to him. Going out of his way to talk to you, or when you sees you off in a distance, daydreams how you’re buying his favorite rum for him as a gift or protecting him. Do you think of him as much as he does you? Or do you remember the time he covered you with a blanket one cold night?
J,A,C,O,B
You had been best friends with Jacob, but even the laughs and glances couldn’t fill the you-shaped hole in his heart. When you finally got together, there was never a shortage of admiration on his part about all that he admires about you, including your fun side. That being said, he’s a passionate man who is not shy about making it known how he feels about you, despite Evie’s teasing, and if a Rook tries to get chummy with you they find out real fast! Maybe laying it on a bit thick with the compliments but you know he’s genuine. He likes to scale the rooftops with you to get the best views, especially at sunset. If you ever have nightmares/panic attacks, Jacob knows what that feels like and he’s more than willing to help you through it.
C,O,N,R
Connor didn’t expect to fall in love after trying to rebuild, but you were a welcomed exception in his life. When he first started catching feelings, he thought it was subtle until your eyes met his and he turned away with a blush creeping on his cheeks. He may not be the most traditional romantic but once you realize what he’s doing, you’re touched by how sweet he is. Once you’re together, Connor’s little nicknames for you are along the lines of “love, dove” or maybe something floral. If you ever have nightmares/panic attacks, that soothing voice calms you down as he holds you close.
E,V,I
Unlike her twin, Evie likes to think she was refined and focused until she met you. Then her more carefree, free-spirited fluoridated when she spent more time with you. Jacob likes to tease that you’re a “bad influence”. She sees you as her equal in every way and comes to realize that even in the most trying times, she can let her walls down for you. She values you, in all ways a loving significant other can: your opinions, your ideas, your wants.
K,A,S,N,D,R
Kassandra is a woman who’s naturally curious and takes an interest your activities/hobbies, be it pottery or sword sparring. Her kisses are heated, gripping to you as if you’re her tether. She imagines a simple life with you at times, living out the rest of your years by the beach. If there’s anything you have set your sights on, your Amazonian love is in your corner 1000%. Romance is not her strongest suit, but you know she tries and that’s all that matters. I don’t know Ancient Greek dialect, but I’d imagine nicknames would be something like “sweetie” or “darling”.
A,L,E,X,I,O,S
Alexios did not expect to have a family again (Kassandra and his mother), let alone the heart of you. He respects and values you as his equal, and all that you do. He enjoys hunting, sailing and some sparring with you, and encourages you if you want to improve yourself. After settling down, your presence inspires him to be more at peace. He doesn’t have to be closed off or hesitant or the simplest actions. When he confessed, Alexios gripped tightly onto you, pouring every ounce of his soul into words. You gladly accept, and soon are pulled close to him in the tightest hug and sweetest kiss. After that, you could be doing the most mundane thing and Alexios looks at you as if you’re Queen of Olympus itself.
E,I,V,O,R
Eivor admires you, loves you, their beloved and equal in every way. An inspiration to fight to see tomorrow with you. Not “showy” with their emotions, or the most blatantly romantic, Eivor still has those moments where they want to be near you at every moment. Making sure you’re well fed, taken care of, or warm during the harsh winters. You’re a much valued and loved person in Eivor’s life, someone worth protecting amidst this dangerous lifestyle.
A,L,T,I,R
Though he won’t outright admit it, Altair admires your skill as a fellow assassin in training (mostly as an excuse to be near you). As long as Maria and Malik don’t rib him that the arrogant “novice” has finally been bested. If anything, it indirectly inspires him to do better/push himself to which you tease him relentlessly, but he’ll gladly take it since it’s you. When he finally confessed to you, the tense pause almost killed him (fearing you’d say no) only to return your hug ten fold in an iron grip. Cupping the back of your head. In the younger years, you two daredevils were always seeking out the highs of being an Assassin but mellow out with age. Still, that romance never dies with affectionate banter and nicknames, and gentle touches.
A,V,E,L,I,N
Aveline enjoys shopping with you or even taking (much needed) long walks with you. She sees you as her equal, and values your opinion, be it for both Assassin and other non-related matters. She’s faced betrayal and heartache but you’re an inspiration that there’s always a better tomorrow, no matter how small some victories may be. You confessed to her one night, and it was one of the happiest moments in Aveline’s life, the day you called her “my rose”. One of the loveliest, genuine aspects of her life, Aveline treasures her life with you.

Y/N lightly bopped her head along to the slow melody playing from her earphones, as she flicked the page of the book she was reading. Crossing one leg over the other, she steadied the folding tall chair she was sitting on. Glancing up from her book, she smiled as she looked around at the set, waiting for the signal that they were ready to resume.
Y/N watched the crew, hard at work as they fixed lighting, checked the sound and redressed parts of the bunker. Her eyes scanned over the many people who worked tirelessly to make this show, feeling grateful to be even a small part of it herself.
This was her second time on the Supernatural set. She had guest starred in an episode last season, with Kim Rhodes who played Sheriff Jody Mills. Kim had quickly become a great friend, showing the ropes of the set, as did everyone else. She laughed as she remembered messing up her first scene with the stars of the show, Jared and Jensen, and how they quickly reassured her that she didn’t do anything for them to be mad at. They loved to have a laugh as much as the next person and were more often than not the ones who did most of the messing up of takes on purpose.
The first time was quite civil, but considering this was her second episode, Y/N was no longer off limits from the guys’ antics. Jared in particular was a giant goofball, doing everything perfectly on his coverage, and then purposely being bad on hers. Jensen was a little subdued this time around, as he was the director for this episode, but that didn’t mean they hadn’t had any fun.
There was an attraction between them. She felt it from the moment she laid eyes on him when she walked onto the set the year before. He was incredibly kind and absolutely hilarious, and not to mention insanely good-looking. They had talked and laughed about so many things in those 8 days, and she felt herself beginning to feel things for him she probably shouldn’t have. This time around, he may have been directing, but they still talked a lot. He showed her different parts of the stages during lunch breaks, walked her to lunch every day for the last 7 days, and made her feel so welcomed.
Y/N sensed that maybe the attraction wasn’t one sided as she often caught him looking at her, but she couldn’t be too sure and didn’t want to make a fool of herself in case she was wrong in her assumptions.
Y/N smiled as Frida, one of Supernatural’s assistant make-up artists, approached her. Her make-up bag, as well Jensen and Jared’s, were all hanging off of her as she returned a genuine smile to Y/N. She took out her earphones and closed her book, shifting in her chair to face Frida properly.
“Touch up time, already?” she asked, pushing her hair back slightly.
“Yep, we’ll be good to go in about 5,” Frida replied, taking out a brush and running it lightly through some powder. She applied it to Y/N’s face and then worked a little on the touching up the eye make-up. “Looking forward to it?” she added with a laugh.
Y/N cringed, lightly shaking her head. “Dear god, give me strength to get through it.”
“Get through what?” she heard a familiar voice ask.
Y/N’s eyes flicked up to look at Jared as she sat down in his chair, next to her. “To get through your unrelenting need to ruin my coverage.”
Jared laughed, clapping his hands. “It’s just too easy.”
“I know how Misha feels now,” Y/N laughed, closing her eyes as Frida worked on her eyelids.
Frida laughed along with her, nodding. “And Alex too.”
Trish, the head make-up artist, came up behind Frida and took Jared’s bag, getting him ready for the next scene.
“Pretty sure he’s still scarred from that time everyone was out to get him to crack, even Misha,” Trish added, chuckling.
“We’re up and running in 2!” they heard one of the assistant directors call out.
Frida finished up with Y/N as Trish finished touching up Jared’s make-up, allowing Y/N to get up and walk over to the war room set. She walked past crew members and smiled at them, a quick ‘hey’ to each of them as she did. She loved this set more than any other she had worked on. It was only her second time here, but it felt like home, with everyone always welcoming her back with open arms. She didn’t think she would be back a second time, but she was incredibly glad that she was. She loved her character, Lyla, so much and she was over the moon to explore her again.
Y/N felt the butterflies in her stomach erupt as she spied Jensen, in a deep conversation with Bob Singer as they looked over some of the dailies on the screens in front of them. He looked amazing, dressed as Dean in his black t-shirt and blue jeans, the white and black flannel draped over a chair close by. He was frowning but nodding along as Bob explained something to him, his scowl making him look even hotter if that was possible.
Suddenly, Jensen turned and walked towards her, his frown immediately morphing into a genuine smile as he approached her. She felt her heartbeat pick up, but she tried to calm herself down as she turned to face him.
“Okay, so we’re getting your coverage first, then Jared’s. I know he’s meant to go first, but making him wait tends to make him cooperate,” Jensen informed her, laughing lightly.
“Going easy on me, huh?” she joked, smiling up at him.
“A little, but you’ve handled it pretty well so far,” Jensen said, folding his arms across his chest. That gesture had killed her every time he did in the last several days, and this time was no different.
“Meh,” she shrugged, laughing. “I can throw it back at him if and when I need to.”
Jensen gave her nod, smiling with an approving look. “I won’t even try to stop you.”
She laughed as she shook her head, Jensen’s relaxed laughter joining hers.
She cleared her throat as she calmed herself, looking up at him. “Do I look okay, Mr. Director, sir?”
Jensen looked into her eyes, finding himself getting lost in Y/N’s beautiful features. He certainly wasn’t good at hiding his feelings for her, not the first time he met her and definitely not now. She was stunning, but she was also open and generous, kind and a total badass. He really wanted to ask her out and see where things went between them, but considering they were in their last day of filming, and she was more than likely leaving the next day, he knew he had missed his chance.
“You look great,” he told her, honestly and hoping she’d see how he meant it as more than just a director approving of her look for the episode.
Things moved pretty quickly from there, as Jensen left to sit behind the screens at video village, the cameras turned on and framed Y/N in the shot with the rest of the war room behind her, Jared stood to the side making sure to hit the mark and be in her right eye line. Everyone buzzed around them before José came in with the tail slate and called the take.
“Action!” they heard Jensen call out.
Y/N instantly fell into character, looking at Jared as ‘Sam’ and smiling. “How does Dean feel about this?”
Jared didn’t move considering the camera wasn’t on him, but he delivered the next line. “It took him a while to get used to the idea of Jack, but he got there eventually.”
Y/N nodded, staying in character. “You know what you’re doing, teaching Jack the ropes of this life… that’s amazing.”
Jared scoffed. “It didn’t exactly work though.”
“He’ll come back, Sam. He will. He just has to figure out what’s going on with his powers and he’ll come back to the bunker.” She finished the line but frowned, thinking it over. “Wait, sorry. Is it “come back to the bunker” or something else?”
One of the crew members quickly looked over the sides, and then shook their head. “It’s ‘come back home.’”
“Fuck, okay,” she groaned, annoyed with herself. “Sorry.”
“You’re fine, Y/N. Just take it from the same line,” Jensen reassured her, and she took in the patience in his voice. He was so damn good at this and she felt incredibly safe with him as a director and as an actor. She recalled how many times someone was awful to her just for messing up slightly, and how crappy she felt afterwards. She had never felt that on the Supernatural set, and she was so thankful for that.
“Let’s keep rolling,” Jensen informed everyone. “Y/N, when you’re ready.”
She nodded. Waiting a few seconds, she then continued. “He’ll come back, Sam. He will. He just has to figure out what’s going on with his powers and he’ll come back home.”
“It’s ‘to the bunker’,” Jared said, trying to be serious as he tried to mess her up.
“You’re an ass,” she laughed, shaking her head.
Jared laughed that mad laugh she had actually come to love very quickly, and she joined in. They descended into a fit of giggles, knowing full well it wasn’t that funny, but it somehow got to them anyway.
Jensen watched the screen in front of him, his eyes never leaving Y/N. Her laugh was infectious, and she looked even more beautiful when she did, making his heartbeat wildly in his chest. Knowing he had to break up the laugh fest, regretfully, he stood up from his chair.
“Alright, we’re good on Y/N’s coverage. Let’s move on and then we can break for lunch,” he announced.
The bell sounded as every present crew member hurried around the set, getting set up to shoot Jared’s coverage.
Y/N looked up and saw Jensen glance over at her. He smiled that smile she found herself wanting to see every second of every day, making her feel lightheaded and the butterflies flutter in her stomach again. He truly was a sight to behold and she only hoped that something more came of her time on Supernatural.
Tumblr media
They managed to get through Jared’s coverage pretty quickly, Y/N doing off-camera dialogue for him as he had done for her. The bell sounded again, and Jensen called lunch. Everyone walked towards craft services, chatting about different parts of their lives. Jensen was talking with Bob, but after quickly making some decisions, he moved away and walked up to Y/N.
She looked up at Jensen as she felt him next to her, smiling brightly. They walked side by side through the lot, past all the pick-up trucks, SUVs and large trailers that housed the different departments of production. For the last 7 days, this had been a regular occurrence, him walking her to the lunch tent. On the 8th and final day of filming, it was no exception. She could feel the attraction between them, and a part of her hoped that he might ask her out, but she would even settle for a casual hook-up at that point.
“Ah, fuck,” he muttered, as he suddenly stopped short while looking down at his phone. “My phone’s about to die. Mind if we make a quick detour to my trailer so I can charge it up?”
“Lead the way,” she said, smiling as she gestured for him to go ahead. She followed him to his trailer, stepping in behind him.
As he looked around for a charger, she turned to every angle of the trailer, taking it in. It was big and spacious, with a large flat screen and comfortable couch, a bed at the other end and a nice kitchenette, but that was it. There was nothing outlandish and unnecessary in there.
“Nice to know there’s no aquarium in here,” she laughed, folding her arms.
Jensen scoffed a laugh as he shook his head. “Yeah, they really went overboard with that one.”
Finding a charger, he plugged it in and put his phone on charge. He turned to her, arms out as he brought attention to the trailer.
“So, this is it,” he said, his hands coming down and straight into his pockets. “As glamorous as you pictured, right?”
“Oh, much more than I was expecting,” she said, pretending to be serious. They looked at each other and laughed, as she shook her head. “I like it. It certainly doesn’t scream lead of a TV show slash on and off director.”
“What does it scream then?” he asked, looking down at her as she moved closer to him.
“Just a regular guy underneath all that star power,” she replied, her hand coming up and softly grazing his covered bicep.
She looked at him, her eyes never leaving his. It was clear to both of them that there was something between them. The minute she stepped onto set earlier than week, Jensen knew he was done for.
“Can I ask you something?” he wondered, his tongue darting out and licking at his lips, nervously. That little gesture had nearly sent her to her knees so many times that week, and in that moment, she felt like she would if he did it again.
“Shoot,” she told him.
His hand came up and took hers, his fingers intertwining with her delicate ones. “When can I see you again?”
“I don’t know. I’m leaving at noon tomorrow,” she said, moving closer to him and taking in the smell of his cologne.
“I can’t stop thinking about you,” he whispered, his head dropping forward to rest his forehead against hers. “Tell me I’m not fucking insane, and you feel something for me too.”
“You’re not,” she whispered in return, shaking her head against his. “The only thing fucking insane is that we didn’t do anything the minute we met.”
That was the only in Jensen needed. His hands cupped Y/N’s cheeks and pulled her face up, his lips pressing into hers in a rough but sensual kiss. Her hands roamed his chest, fisting his black t-shirt in her hands, trying to bring him in closer. They pulled away for a brief moment, breathing into each other heavily as they tried to catch their breath. They quickly stripped out of the clothes they were wearing, careful not to tug harshly as they were the costumes they’d have to put back on. Cupping her face again, he smirked as he moved them over to the couch.
“On your knees,” he instructed.
She huffed a laugh as she grinned. “Yes, sir.”
He quickly unbuckled his jeans and pulled them down, sitting back on the couch as she moved down to her knees in front of him. She tugged at his boxers and pulled them down, his hard cock springing free. She gasped as she smiled, her hand slowly wrapping around the shaft.
“Put my cock in your mouth, baby,” he demanded, his hand coming up to her hair and wrapping into it, tugging her closer.
She hummed as she moved closer, her tongue licking a stripe up his shaft. “You gonna direct me, sir?”
He groaned as he bit his lip, smirking. “Yeah, and if it’s anything like it is on set, I know you’ll hit your mark.”
She sucked at the tip of his cock, her tongue circling the head before she moved down, taking his length into her mouth. She bobbed her head, her spit coating his cock as she built up a rhythm.
“Fuck,” he growled. “Your mouth’s so fucking perfect, Y/N.”
She looked up at him, taking him deeper into her mouth.
“Hold still, darlin’,” he muttered in his sudden Texas drawl, his hand gathering her hair into his palm, the other cupping her face.
She stilled her movement, as he began thrusting up into her mouth at a fast pace. His cock hit the back of her throat, causing her to moan each time it did.
“Fuck, baby,” he groaned, looking down at her. “Look so good with my cock between your lips.”
Her saliva covered his cock, the glugging sound loud as he slipped in and out of her mouth. She looked up at him, her eyes glistening from the pressure of his hard cock against the back of her throat. His hand pressed down on her head, making her take his length into her mouth all the way to the base, holding her in place. She moaned to avoid gagging, thankful she didn’t have a gag reflex. He pulled her up, his cock leaving her mouth with a wet pop, a harsh breath leaving her lips as air came back into her lungs.
“Can’t wait to fuck you,” he said, cupping her face in his hands and bringing her lips to hers.
He lifted her up and carried her to the bed, throwing her down on it. She squealed as she bounced on the mattress, a naughty smile on her face as she looked up at him.
“God, you’re so fucking hot,” she muttered, as her eyes raked over his body.
“I should be saying that about you,” he smirked, getting onto the bed and holding himself up above her.
He leaned down, kissing her passionately, before trailing down her jaw, neck and down to her breasts. His flicked his tongue over her nipple, his hand coming up to roll the other between his fingers.
“Fuck,” she moaned, as his felt his other hand move down her body.
He smirked as he sucked her nipple, feeling the slick between her legs. He released the nub and looked down at her, his fingers running through her folds and finding her clit. She moaned loudly, forgetting where she was for a moment, as she felt his fingers circle the bundle of nerves.
“Shh, baby,” he whispered, as he looked down into her eyes. “Can’t let the crew hear us.”
“Jensen… fuck me,” she whimpered, as she cupped his face.
Taking one of her hands off her face, he pinned it to the bed above her head. A chill ran down her spine as she looked into his eyes, now dark with arousal.
“Say it properly and I will,” he ordered, his voice gravelly and demanding.
She gulped but smiled tentatively. “Please fuck me, sir.”
“Good,” he said, before he leaned down and kissed her lips, once then twice.
They continued their passionate embrace, Y/N’s arms wrapping around Jensen’s neck as one of her hands combed into his short hair at the nape of his neck. Their lips moved against each other’s roughly and sensually, as they became desperate to feel more of each other. He held his cock and ran it along her folds, her wetness slicking his shaft and a clear sign that she was more than ready for him. However, his movements suddenly stopped as an unfair realization came to him.
“Shit,” he muttered, pulling his lips away from hers. He looked down at her as an annoyed expression graced his face.
“What’s wrong?” she asked, suddenly worried she had done something wrong.
“I just remembered… I don’t have any condoms,” he replied, grimacing as he held himself up above her. “I don’t do this… well, ever. So, I don’t have anything.”
Her frown matched his. “I’m not on the pill right now, either.”
He nodded, trying to smile reassuringly and hide his disappointment. She knew that he was though, because she was too. She was desperate to feel him against her and inside her.
“I guess we better get to lunch, then,” she muttered softly, pushing herself up on her elbows. Her face was close to his, causing her to lean over and kiss his plump lips, softly.
“I just want to feel you,” he whispered against her lips, leaning in.
“Me too,” she said, in an equally hushed tone before his lips claimed hers again.
An idea suddenly came to him and he just hoped that she would be okay with it.
“Trust me?” he asked, softly as he looked into her eyes.
She smiled up at him, nodding slowly. “Yes, sir.”
He smirked as he helped her lie down on the bed again, bringing her legs up to rest her ankles on his shoulders. He shifted back until he was standing, her behind now on the edge of the bed.
Jensen smirked as his eyes darkened, taking hold of his cock and slapping it over her mound a few times. He moved Y/N’s thighs closer together, until they met around his cock. Slowly, he began to thrust, sliding his cock between her thighs in a gentle and sensual pace. She moaned softly, the new sensation of feeling his shaft against the skin of her inner thighs awakening something within her. He groaned, biting his lip at this new found arousal as he continued to move between her legs.
“How do I feel, sweetheart?” he asked, looking down at her.
“So good,” she moaned, looking at him. His ‘sweetheart’ gave her Dean vibes, which was definitely something she was adding to her list of kinks.
He picked up speed, his thrusts between her legs now a moderate pace. He gripped her thighs tight in his hands, which would no doubt leave bruises that she would get to admire later.
“Fuck,” he growled, his jaw clenching as he felt the pressure around his cock. “You feel so fucking good, baby.”
“Shit,” she hissed. A small laugh left her mouth as she shook her head. “If this is anything to go by, I can’t wait for you to fuck me.”
He chuckled as he nodded. “Can’t wait to fuck you either, Y/N. Can’t wait to feel you around my cock, taking me so well.”
“Jensen,” she moaned softly. She remembered to keep quiet in case of wandering ears of crew members.
His hand came up and back down on her thigh, smacking her hard enough to make her yelp and get her attention. He looked at her with his darkened eyes, stern and somewhat frightening, which only aroused her more.
“Last time I checked, I’m still your director,” he groaned, grasping her thighs tight. “Touch yourself.”
She moaned as her hands came up to her breasts, her fingers tweaking her nipples as she looked up at him. He grunted as he watched her, one of hands slipping down between her legs. His fingers found her clit, rubbing them in tight circles around the swollen nub.
“Fuck! Jensen,” she moaned, breathlessly. “Make me cum.”
He chuckled as he shook his head, his fingers slowing down to a torturous pace. “Not yet, baby.”
“Please,” she begged, her chest heaving with her shallow breaths.
“You have to ask better than that, Y/N,” he informed her, the smirk still on his face.
“Please,” she whimpered. She moved one of her hands down, trying to touch her clit but he smacked it away, not giving up the control he had in that moment. “Please, sir… please make me cum.”
“Let’s make a deal, baby,” he suggested, an eyebrow raised as he continued to thrust between her thighs. He groaned, knowing he was close to his own release. “Make me cum first between these perfect thighs, and I’ll let you cum… all over my face.”
She moaned loudly, nodding frantically. The idea of his mouth on her where she wanted him most was too much to bear.
Pressing her thighs together firmly, Jensen’s thrusts became quicker and erratic, getting closer to falling over the edge. He growled as the pressure around his hard cock built, feeling it pulse with his impending release.
“Fuck,” he groaned. His hips faltered as he gripped tightly at the flesh of her thighs. He threw his head back, as he let go of her legs, and grasped his cock in his hand. He pumped his hand along his shaft, biting his lip as he looked down at her spread out on his bed. She sat up on her elbows, smiling up at him as she moved his hand away, taking over for him as her hand moved up and down along his cock.
“Oh fuck, Y/N,” he let out a guttural moan as her hand picked up speed. Ropes of his cum spurted out of his cock, landing on her stomach. She continued to pump him, making sure he gave her everything he had, relishing in the warmth of his release against her skin.
He breathed heavily, his hand cupping her face as he smiled at her. “Your turn.”
Moving his hand to her shoulder, he pushed her back lightly, smiling as she laughed. He got down on his knees, grasping her hips and pulling her to the edge of the bed. Y/N laughed as she slipped down, moving her hands up to her breasts and pinching her nipples. He smirked as he looked up at her, his tongue licking a stripe up her folds. He moaned at the taste of her, feeling how wet she was already from just fucking her thighs.
“Oh fuck,” she moaned loudly, as she felt his stubble against the inside of thighs. She bit down on her lip, trying to keep herself quiet as he continued to run his tongue along her folds, the vibrations of his moans running through her.
“Taste so fucking good, Y/N,” he muttered against her mound, looking up at her. “So perfect.”
He moved his mouth to her clit, moving his tongue in tight circles around the nub. Her hands came down and grabbed his short hair, clenching tightly as she pressed her lips together. His hand came up, slowly inserting a finger into her wet entrance, moving it in and out of her. He added another finger and began to thrust them back and forth, the pads of his fingers hitting her g-spot every time. She whimpered as he picked up speed, his perfect mouth sucking at her clit as he continued to move his fingers.
He released her clit from his mouth, kissing her inner thigh as he moved up her leg.
“So fucking beautiful,” he muttered against her skin, placing small nips along the inside of her thigh.
He looked at her, the smile never leaving his face. She pushed herself up on her elbow, her other hand still in his hair. Leaning up, he kissed her roughly as he continued to thrust his fingers into her. She moaned into his mouth, tasting herself on his tongue. She felt the familiar feeling of her release approaching, the coil winding tighter and tighter.
“You ready to cum for me, sweetheart?” he asked, his breath fanning against her lips.
“Yeah,” she gasped, nodding as she looked into his eyes. “Make me cum.”
“Make me cum… what?” he asked, his voice gravelly. A deep rumble erupted from his chest as he laughed with a mischievous grin.
She whimpered, gripping his hair harshly. “Make me cum, sir.”
“Good girl,” he praised, moving his head back down again.
Jensen moved his mouth back to her clit, his fingers picking speed as he hit that sweet spot inside of her with precision. Y/N looked down at him, still leaning on her elbow to give her a better view. She held his head in place, fearing he’d move if she removed her hand. He licked at her clit, the sounds of her wetness and his ministrations reaching her ears and causing a string of soft moans and whimpers to leave her lips. His mouth sucked at her, his tongue moving around the nub tightly and his fingers thrusting, faster and faster. She bit down on her lip, nearly drawing blood as the coil in her belly snapped. A harsh, strangled whimper of his name left her lips, as she came hard on his tongue and fingers. He lapped at her folds, taking in her juices before he moved his head away, smiling at her.
With a quick kiss to Y/N’s thigh, Jensen got up and fell back on the bed next to her. She breathed heavily as she looked at him, trying to catch her breath. Turning his head, he looked into her eyes. He turned onto his side, moving closer to her. His lips hovered close to hers, his eyes flicking between all the features of her face. She moved in the rest of the way, kissing him softly. Their lips moved passionately against each other’s, not wanting to let go. As much as he didn’t want to let go, he knew they had a schedule to keep today before they wrapped later that night.
“We only have 20 minutes left,” he mumbled, regretfully against her lips.
She nodded, sadly. “We should go.”
They both got up from the bed, cleaning themselves up and getting dressed again in relative silence. The only sounds were the rustling of fabrics and shoes on the floor of the trailer. Y/N fixed her hair as much as she could in the mirror, her eyes continuously flicking over to Jensen as he did the same, fixing the mess she had made of his short locks. With one last look at each other, Jensen opened the door of the trailer and looked around, letting her out first when he saw that no one was around. They walked to the lunch tent, receiving a few questions on their whereabouts. Jensen was quick to tell everyone he took Y/N to see some of the fan favourite props of the show, and Y/N was glad that people believed him, for the most part.
They ate quickly, both of them silent as they sat across from each other. Y/N didn’t know if they weren’t talking because they are was awkwardness after what happened, or whether it was because he didn’t want to accidentally say something about it in front of the crew. Quite frankly, she was fine with not talking about it just yet. She wasn’t sure where they go from here. Did Jensen want to see her again? If so, would it be just to sleep together finally, or did he want more?
She didn’t think she wanted to know the answers to those questions. Not yet anyway.
Little did she know, the same questions were running through Jensen’s head. He enjoyed what happened back in his trailer, but sue him if he didn’t want more with her. He wanted to go the full home run with her, but if he was being completely honest, he wanted to see her again and again. He wanted to ask her out and see where they go from there.
He knew he had to take a leap of faith and ask her before she left town, because who knew when she would return.

They were back on the bunker set, this time in the war room to shoot the last scene Y/N would be in. It was interesting that Y/N’s character leaving at the end of the episode was the second last scene they were filming, but that was where it happened to land. It was like it happened organically, which was rare for their set during filming.
Jensen was standing at the head of the map table, Jared next to him as Y/N stood across from them. Video village was set up at the other end of the library, giving them more room in the war room for lighting and boom mics. Things were quiet as they fell into their characters, Y/N slinging the duffle bag over her shoulder, as the assistant director called ‘action’.
“Thanks for your help. We really owe you one,” Jared said as ‘Sam’.
She smiled at him, shaking her head. “You really don’t.”
Jensen gave her that signature ‘Dean Winchester’ look, the one that said he was thinking about how to approach a subject. “You know where to find us if we do.”
“You’re buying the six-pack next time,” she said, chuckling slightly.
“Done,” ‘Dean’ said, smirking at her. She smiled at Jensen, finding that her genuine smile to him seeped into the scene.
“See you boys around,” she said, nodding at them. She turned on her heeled ankle boots, walking towards the staircase. With one glance over her shoulder, she gave them a small wave which they returned. She took the stairs all the way up, hearing the AD call ‘cut’.
“Alright, let’s see,” Jensen muttered as he walked over to video village.
Y/N walked down the stairs and over to the map table and placed the duffle bag on it. She waited to hear whether they would have to do another take or not.
“Alright, check the gate! Moving on!” Jensen called out. “That’s a wrap on Y/N Y/L/N!”
He quickly came out from behind the screens, walking over to her and Jared. All the crew around her clapped, as she gave them a small curtsy, laughing as Jared came over and hugged her.
It wasn’t the usual treatment of guest stars, as they usually came in and did the work and then left but considering there was buzz that her character might make a return, they wanted her to feel at home with all of them. They were kind to people with even the smallest of roles, so Y/N always knew she’d be in safe hands with the Supernatural crew.
Y/N hung around to say goodbye as they shot the last scene between the boys. In that time, she sat with her laptop, hoping she could change her flight to leave in a few days. With luck, she managed to find one leaving Vancouver in 5 days’ time, giving her plenty of time to stick around and explore these feelings she had for the handsome green-eyed actor. She couldn’t wait to tell him.
Given that Jared and Jensen had such a great shorthand with each other, they worked quickly to get the work done. Jensen called a wrap on the episode, and they all congratulated him on the amazing work he did. Everyone began to pack things up, the make-up ladies heading to their trailer as Y/N walked with them. She removed all her make-up, freshened up and then got changed into her clothes she wore to set that morning.
Y/N said her goodbyes to Trish and Frida, followed by the rest of the crew and Bob Singer. Jared swooped in for another big hug, nearly breaking her in half with the pressure of his arms around her.
“Jesus, you don’t know your own strength, you know that?” she said, cringing in slight pain as she turned and twisted, trying to get feeling back in her body.
“Hey, not my fault you can’t handle it,” he laughed, patting her back. “Alright, I’m out of here. I hope I’ll see you soon.”
“Me too,” she smiled, as he enveloped her in a softer but still warm hug. She decided to leave out the fact that she wasn’t going anywhere just yet, wanting to tell Jensen first.
Jared walked towards the parking lot, heading for the SUV that Cliff was waiting by. They were no doubt waiting on Jensen, who had been finishing up some paperwork after wrapping the episode. Y/N slung her bag over her shoulder, walking towards his trailer in search of him. Reaching the door, she knocked a few times and waited. The door opened, a tired but smiling Jensen greeting her.
“Hey,” he smiled, leaning against the door frame.
“So… I have some news,” she told him, a smile playing at her lips.
“Oh yeah?” he asked, his eyebrows raised as he folded his arms across his chest. His arms were exposed thanks to his black t-shirt, and she suddenly felt like her skin was on fire. She tried not to show her disappointment when he put on his jacket and grabbed his backpack, shutting off the light in the trailer as he closed the door.
She nodded, stepping down from the stairs to the trailer and turning to him. “I changed my flight. I’m leaving in 5 days.”
Jensen felt his heart skip a beat with that news. He nodded, the smile growing bigger on his face. “Well… you want to come over tonight? We can pick up where we left off.”
She bit her lip, nodding slowly. “I’d love to.”
Keeping up the pretence that there wasn’t anything going on, Jensen went back home with Cliff driving him to his apartment. Y/N called an Uber, knowing that if she had joined them Jared and Cliff would question what was happening. She and Jensen hadn’t spoken about it, but they both knew that there wasn’t anything to say to anyone until they figured it out themselves. For now, she wanted him in ways she’s never wanted anyone else and she was more than ready to see what he was capable of.
Reaching Jensen’s apartment, Y/N went up to his floor and down the hall, knocking on his door, noting that it was the right one from the text he had sent while she was in the Uber. The door swung open, and she grinned as Jensen smirked at her, letting her in. She took in the apartment, with its beautiful view of the city lights twinkling at night, a large screen TV and comfortable couch, and his guitar on the wall closest to her. However, as nice as it was that wasn’t where her mind was in that moment.
Turning around, Y/N looked at him, his eyes reflecting the same things she was feeling. They moved towards each other, their lips meeting in a rough, but sensual kiss as they wrapped their arms around each other. Pushing and pulling at each other’s clothes, their lips continued to move against each other, not wanting to stop.
“Thank god you changed your flight,” he mumbled against her swollen lips. “I can’t wait to fuck you.”
“Then what are you waiting for?” she asked, grabbing his shoulders and jumping up, wrapping her legs around his waist.
His hands immediately supported her as he carried her off to his bedroom.
By the time they came up for air, the sun was rising, and Jensen had to leave to go to work for the first day of the next episode. With a promise of returning later that day, he told Y/N to stay at his apartment, telling her she could use whatever she wanted before he had to leave.
As she stood on the balcony and looked out at the view with her morning coffee, she had never been more thankful to a job she had taken. She made some great friends already, there was a buzz that she may come back for more episodes, and she had met the most incredible man who she couldn’t wait to explore more with.
She found herself repeating Jensen’s words from the night before as she smiled into her morning cup of caffeine.
Thank god she changed her flight.

Injury discovery prompt: “You’ve been trying to deal with this yourself?”
Thanks Michelle! :D Decided to try my hand with a character who I find hard to pin down for this one...
-------
It was Fiona's wince and jolt, as if in pain, that caught Athena's eye, as the younger woman reached for a glass at the back of one of the caravan cupboards. The rest of their motley crew hadn't noticed, too busy causing some sort of ruckus over a card game that Athena hadn't been particularly invested in - Bunkers and Badasses would have been a much better option for occupying their evening, but, alas. She'd been greeted with a loud, resounding 'NO' from the whole crew when she'd suggested it. From even Loader Bot.
Hah. He was just salty about having missed out on the first game.
Athena stepped up to Fiona and gently grasped her right elbow to get her attention. Fiona jolted in surprise, looking at Athena with wide eyes, as though expecting to be reprimanded somehow. An extreme reaction, which served to make Athena more suspicious.
"You're hiding something," Athena said bluntly but quietly, to avoid attracting attention.
"Hiding something?" Fiona glanced over to the table, fully occupied within their cramped little caravan. There was barely room to shuffle around the place. She half-smiled fondly. "It's impossible to hide anything in here."
Athena didn't buy it. She frowned slightly as Fiona grinned painfully awkwardly, face slightly flushed. "Let's talk outside," Athena offered as she nodded toward the caravan door.
They stepped out and closed the door against the shouts of outrage coming from within - apparently, Vaughn had been caught counting cards. Athena turned to Fiona, arms folded, eyebrow slightly raised. Go on.
Fiona wilted slightly under Athena's scrutinising gaze. She held out for a moment, staring at Athena with trepidation, before sighing and removing her jacket, tossing it onto the steps of the caravan. She then lifted her blouse on her left side, to her ribs. To where a large, square bandage was taped to her skin.
Athena's eyes widened just a fraction.
"The skag attack the other day," Fiona said, quietly, by way of explanation. She couldn't meet Athena's eyes as she shrugged and winced slightly. "It's just a scratch."
"Fiona," Athena said firmly, folding her arms, "judging from the size of that bandage? That's more than 'just a scratch'. Let me see."
Another moment of hesitation before Fiona sighed again and obliged, gingerly peeling back some of the tape to half-remove the bandage.
Three large scratch marks were etched deeply into her skin.
Athena frowned as she stared at the marks, the large scabs that had formed and the red raw skin surrounding the wounds. "You’ve been trying to deal with this yourself? You cleaned them, I assume?"
"I'm not stupid," Fiona bit out in irritation as she rubbed her left arm with her right hand, looking toward the floor while scowling. "I grew up on this bacteria-filled shithole, I know a thing or two about making sure I don't die from infection."
"I didn't say you didn't," Athena said matter-of-factly. "Why didn't you say anything?"
"Because it's just a scratch," Fiona reiterated firmly, finally meeting Athena's eyes. She unconsciously glanced at the caravan, something Athena didn't miss. "It'll heal and we'll all move on with our lives."
"You didn't want anyone to worry. Or, more accurately, you didn't want Sasha to worry." Fiona dropped her gaze, confirming Athena's suspicions. Athena gazed at her, contemplating her next words carefully. "A lesson for you."
"A lesson, now? It's almost midnight," Fiona said dryly, before sobering under Athena's intense stare.
"You don't have to act tough all the time. I get it, Fiona. My sister..." Athena trailed off, words getting stuck in her throat. "I know what it's like, to not want to worry someone. But, it's important to know when to ask for help when you need it."
"I thought Vault Hunters had to be tough," Fiona said, frowning.
"We do. But we can't be reckless. We can't just pretend we don't need help when we do." Athena softened slightly. "You think I got as far as I have, alone? There are many times I could have died while out there."
"I'm not going to die from a skag scratch," Fiona said bluntly and Athena's frown deepened.
"No. But, if it had been bigger than a scratch? If it had got infected? If something bigger out there overwhelmed you? Like a Vault Guardian, for example?"
Fiona stilled, stood quietly. Then, finally, looked at the caravan and softened somewhat. "I've always had to be tough. For Sasha. We wouldn't have got very far on Pandora if I hadn't."
"I know. And I can guarantee she's been tough for you, too. But, hasn't she always asked you for help when she's needed it?" Athena smiled slightly as Fiona nodded silently. "It works both ways. Teamwork, Fiona. We work together, we trust each other, and we let each other know when we need help. There's no shame in it."
Fiona rubbed at her arm again, then met Athena's eyes and half-smiled, somewhat hesitantly. Athena returned a smile of her own and a nod.
"Lecture over. Come on, let's get back. You can use those skills of yours to win us the next game." She turned back to Fiona as they reached the door. "'Just a scratch' wouldn't get in the way of a Vault Hunter. Don't think that I'll excuse you from tomorrow's training."
"I'd be disappointed if you did." Fiona grinned as they headed back inside.

When Heather wakes up lonely on her birthday morning, she's confused. And a little bit pissed, waiting to do it surrounded by Jax arms. She palms his side of the mattress to check that it's cold, so he probably had to leave the house for some club shit. Putting on her glasses and stepping out from the bed, she walks out of their shared room wearing nothing but one of his large black shirts. Grabbing the fabric in a fist, she takes a deep breath feeling less lonely as Jax's scent fills up his lungs. But some strange noises inside the kitchen push her out of his bubble.
Arching a brown eyebrow over the glasses, pulling the blonde locks of hair to a side, she sticks out her head off the frame to find Happy fighting with the coffeemaker.
“Son of a bitch… I'm going to fucking ki—”.
“Open the lash on the top and put the capsule inside”.
The man stares at her in silence, as if she talked to him in another language. Rolling her eyes, Heather takes some steps closer to follow the same instructions she had given him literally two seconds ago. He is fascinated.
“So, what are you doing here?”
“Birthday”. He replies, as he points himself.
Squinting until she gets the joke, she can't help but break into loud laughs, scaring Happy for a moment because he wasn't expecting. Scaring. Happy.
“Jax asked me to pick you up”.
“No, thanks. I don't wanna die”.
“But you have to come with me”.
“For what?”
Nothing. Not a single word. He has already met his quota of conversation for the rest of the day. When the coffee is ready and the man is going to take the mug, Heather is fast clicking her tongue repeatedly.
“Make yours, grown man”.
A growl escapes from his mouth, watching him close his hands in two fists.

After a warm shower fantasizing about what her husband has prepared for today, she is ready to wear some clothes before leaving. Excited and with a bunch of ideas running through his head, she puts on a pair of ripped jeans with a comfy white shirt under a black squared franel shirt and her favorite jacket leather. Sitting on the edge of the bed, she finishes the outfit with her favorite pair of camel Timberland boots. Jax has tried a thousand times to convince her of changing them for a new pair, but she refuses, keeping that pair because it was the first gift that he made her.
Getting out from her room, tying up her hair on a messy bun and grabbing her bag, she follows Happy to the outside. Putting on the helmet, knowing that she will have to re-make her hairstyle, Heather sits behind the man not sure if it's a good idea; questioning herself why she can't simply drive her red Ford Fiesta to wherever they're going.
And she is starting to understand it after reaching the racing circuit in the surroundings of Charming. Jackson is already there, resting his body against a long car covered by a black sleeve. The smile on his face grows a little more when the president can make eye-contact with her. Jumping out from Happy's bike and giving him back the helmet, they meet halfway. Jax doesn't doubt, welcoming her between his arms and filling up her face with a bunch of tender kisses.
“Happy birthday, wifey”. His tone of voice is full of happiness and love, placing an arm over Heather's shoulders. “Ready to open your present?”
“Isn't this place too public to take off your jeans?”
The loud laughter that Jax utters makes her giggle. It's not like she can avoid these kinds of comments with someone like her husband.
“C'mon, lil slut”. He hums leading her to the car.
With nervous fingers, she pulls the cover out to the floor. Her heart races too fast, alternating her attention between the present and the man proudly smiling by her side. An immaculate red Mustang Shelby GT500 of '65, with two white strips crossing the whole body. Freshly restored just for her. Her dream car. Heather has talked about it like a hundred times with Jax, but she would never have thought that his husband could find one and all the pieces and original spare parts to tune it up.
She wants to say something, but her vocal cords look like they are freezed right now. Turning at the blonde man, starting to worry just in case she doesn't like the present, she practically jumps onto him. He can't help but cry. Since the first moment they two meet, the only thing that Jax has wanted is to make her happy. To make her laugh. To make her feel loved. To make her feel the most important person in his life. She is. For him, there's no one else but his amazing wife.
“Do you wanna ride it?” He murmurs into her ear, holding her tightly against his body. She nods in silence, she can't talk yet.
When the grip loosens, she takes off her glasses to clean the tears in her eyes, using the fist of the sleeve as her steps continue to her new stunning car. The smell of gingerbread fills her lungs, as soon as she opens the driver door, focusing her eyes on the air-freshener hanging from the rear view mirror. Jax can't help but break into loud laughter, as he sees her face looking at the item with a picture of him. Shirtless. The kinds of ideas that only he could have, obviously.
And it's like a damn fantasy. Not seeing her husband terrified on the copilot seat, but how fast her Mustang rides. Taking the curves like in a damn Daqar, almost putting it onto two wheels and speeding up on the long straight. The engine roars like a furious lion, vibrating the road under it. She loves the velocity. It makes her feel like the freedom after a lockdown. Heather has no words to explain it. But the happiness that runs her body is like touching the sky, with Eminem playing through the speakers just like in a dream.
And even if she thinks that the day wouldn't be better, her mind changes as soon as she reaches the yard of the clubhouse, driving her Mustang with Jax riding his bike by her side. A big birthday's banner welcomes her at Teller-Morrow. There are white balloons all around, the crew cheering her up with claps and whistles, before starting to sing to her.
Jax has been preparing it since a month ago, wanting it to be the perfect day just for his wifey. He would give her the moon, if she asks for it. Layla is the first one on hugging her, tightly and transmitting her all the love in the world; before being interrupted by the high-pitched barks of Kiwi. Of course, she should have been there too. Taking her best friend into her arms, receiving a bunch of dearly licks all around, Heather goes straight to Chibs and Opie to melt themselves into a big warm hug.
“Happe' berday', lass”.
“Hope you like what we did. We put on it our best”. Opie says about crying, seeing her so happy, aware that she deserves only good things in life.
“Yeah, but where's the pizza?” She asks with some chuckles, making them laugh.
“Next to the coffee, darling”.
Jackson takes her wife into his arms, leaving the poor Kiwi between their bodies not knowing who she has to lick now.
“Thank you for that, husby”. Heather pouts at him, looking at his god-damn-hot man through her eyelashes.
“You don't have to, my love. You know I would give my life for you, for seeing you smile. That's the only thing I want”. He replies, showing her that charming grin that makes her shake. “I love you more than anything, Heather. I can't imagine a day without making you happy. I can't imagine a fucking day without you”.

The Legend of Silver Fang - Episode 3: The Soldiers
Tumblr media
If you haven’t read episode 2 yet, you can do so here.
As mentioned before, the major story beats and overarching plot are the same. This is written under the supposition that, in fantasy land, this is a mini series with episodes that run about 2 hours in length each.
Some things to be aware of going in:
This story is violent as shit!!! CONTENT WARNING FOR: Animal death, animal injuries, and drowning. This one is exceptionally less violent then the others, but there’s still ungood things in it. Don’t read it if you don’t like dead dogs
I was trying to achieve a decent adaptation that combines the strongest elements of the anime and manga. It will not be precisely like either and will occasionally totally deviate from both
This isn’t meant to be “better” then the canon. It’s just the way I’d go about rewriting the Akakabuto arc if I had that level of ungodly power lol
Character designs made to represent several mentioned characters can be found here, here, here, and here. Others will be left up to the reader’s interpretation. A link to the next episode will also be provided at the end. If a link isn’t available, the next episode just hasn’t been posted yet!
ENJOY MY DOG FANFIC PLS
As the shadowy figure continues howling, the dog pack departs, clearly following some sort of order. They fall in line and take off at breakneck speed, quickly leaving Gin and Daisuke in the dust.
Except not Gin, ackshually, because he's going with them. As Daisuke calls out to him, Gin gallops behind the other dogs. The dogs are super fast as they make like a tree and get the fuck outta there.
But Gin, thanks in large part to his training, easily keeps pace with them. The pack is being lead by the dark fawn dane, and he casts a glance over his shoulder at Gin. A white Saluki at the dane's side mutters about the silver dude trying to roll with them, but the dane assures her the Akita will soon give up. 5 minutes later, the Akita has not given up at all, and this time a mantle dane pipes up about the intrusion on the party's flash triathalon.
The Saluki sighs and says she'll take care of him, and by take care of him she of course means "run headlong into him, smash his forehead with mine, and step on his head when he comes to a halt," which she proceeds to do.
Gin is taken aback by her quickness. Then he's taken aback by how gently she chides him. She softly informs him that only members can run with the pack. They can't be distracted. They're on a mission, possibly one of the most important in Japan's history.
Before Gin can either argue or launch into The History of Japan by Bill Wurtz, he hears Daisuke call to him. The Saluki notices and sighs. She levels with Gin and tells him she's not a fan of mankind, but Gin should go back to his boy. Children always have the chance of being better then their elders.
"You've got a good thing going for you, kid," she says wisely. "Don't throw away the happiness you have." With those words simmering in Gin's mind, she goes and rejoins the collective.
As the Saluki leaves, Daisuke finds Gin, relieved that he's alright. The child tells the dog to follow him home, and despite his desire to follow the others, Gin obeys.
It's nighttime when the boys arrive back. Daisuke's parents launch into a vicious scolding the moment their son enters the house. Gin's never been interested in people's squabbling, so he sits outside, gazing at the massive full moon. His mind wanders as he lets the moonlight wash over him. Fantasies of running alongside the dogs fill his head, as do fantasies of meeting their mysterious leader. He ponders whether or not it all has to remain a fantasy.
After he eats his ice cold dinner, Daisuke goes back outside to buddy up with his pooch. The problem is that no pooch can be found. He's not on the roof, out on the porch, or chilling with his mother. Daisuke slowly becomes worried. Could Gin have run off? Maybe back to the dogs? No, that's not like him.
Turns out Daisuke's slow on the uptake, because Gin totally went back to find the dogs. He's made his way to the forest by now, and though his motivation has yet to leave him, he's never been in the forest by himself. He's quickly coming down with a bad case of the heebie jeebies. His confidence wanes, and he startles at every unfamiliar sound. He also startles when he sees something in the dark suddenly leap out at him.
The something chortles in a most self-absorbed way, and Gin instantly realizes the only thing he's in danger of is being taunted. It's only John. The nosy bastard followed Gin into the woods to see what the deal was. Well, really it's about more then that. John has decided this town ain't big enough for the several dozen of them, so he's come to see what the feral dogs are made of.
The two frenemies are in luck; the wild fidos are just over the nearest hill. John tells Gin he's going to demand the dogs taken them to their leader, and to catch their attention he starts howling as if his life depended on it.
The dogs notice this mostly out of confusion. Most of them haven't seen John before, but the Saluki has. She tells the others not to fuck with this dude - his owner has an adult super soaker and he knows how to use it. Gin offers similar advice to John, detailing how these guys have killed and eaten bears in, like, 5 minutes flat. John teases Gin for being a wuss before descending the hill with bared teeth, clearly in the mood for a tussle. He aims for the dane who's been calling the shots and leaps square in the middle of his back.
The dane barely registers John's weight, easily flinging him off. John returns once more, this time tooth first, and bites into the dane's neck. After some eye rolling and condescending chuckles, the dane flings him off once again.
John pretends with a snide remark that his ego hasn't been dick-kicked while the dane warns him not to step too far outta line if he wants to return home alive. Just as John's about to say something that begins with "Oh yeah?" Gin anxiously tells him to take a look around. Spookily, the rest of the pack had encircled the two.
A youthful voice from atop the hill calls down to someone named Ben, asking who these two clowns are. A French Spaniel mix is the source of the voice, and it seems he's trying to look tougher then he really is. The dane responds to the Spaniel's call with the name Smith, chiding the lad on abandoning his post just to get involved in drama.
Smith drops the tough guy facade with a laugh, assuring Ben that he and his men will return to their post in a moment, but that Ben should consider testing these two. They may be cocky, but they've got spirit. Smith leads his group back to their unseen post and Gin wonders what sorta hazing rituals packs of wild dogs have.
John's had enough of these games. He demands the pack to bring their leader to him stat. Ben ignores his huffing and puffing and says that the pack doesn't have time for this. They're soldiers for Chrissakes, and they need to get back to their commanding officer. But, for fairness' sake, he tells the two that he'll let them come with on two conditions.
The first is the two must agree to be soldiers in their growing army. The second is that to become soldiers, they must prove they're worthy. He states that whoever whoops his ass gets to become Dog Soldiers (2002). John agrees to a fight  embarrassingly quickly.
The shepherd and the dane encircle each other for a bit, posturing like nobody's business, until their would-be duel is interrupted by a non-sci-fi UFO. A projectile flies through the air to a chorus of screams.
The object that strikes the ground a second later turns out to be the severed head of one of Smith's gang. Smith and crew quickly double back to Ben's posse with some pretty bad news: OH FUCK ITS MADARA.
A fierce growl precedes a new arrival. It is, in fact, Madara, and she's got blood on her lips. Ben scolds an apologetic Smith for allowing his party to abandon their post. The Saluki rushes forward to avenge the dismembered doggie.
"Cross, stop!" says Ben. The Saluki pauses. Ben reminds her that The Boss doesn't want any more unnecessary casualties. Madara will get the ass kicking she deserves for killing Bazzet here, but not right now. Right now they have business to attend to. The pack scampers off.
John laughs mockingly at the departing party. Clearly these guys are pussies, he figures, because Real Badasses would've avenged their friend instantly. It takes every ounce of Gin's willpower not to tell John to shut up as he dashes after the dogs. He still wants to meet their leader, and he's sure this is the only chance he'll get to do it.
But Gin's not confident he knows where these guys are going. The pack is quickly approaching the edge of a gorge. Wind whistles up from the depths of a fast approaching canyon. The pack doesn't slow down as they advance, seemingly unafraid of the gap they're faced with.
With the stoicism of bored superheros, the entire party makes a leap for it one by one, and every single dog makes it across. Gin screeches to a stop, dumbstruck at how they've managed such a feat. He's never lept a gap like this even once!
The crew notices Gin as he examines the drop downwards. Cross calls out to him not to be stupid. He's not ready for a leap this wide. Ben calls out to Gin that Cross is right because only a dog suited to be a soldier in the Ohu army could manage this jump.
For a moment Gin doesn't seem to be paying attention, instead allowing his ears to wave wildly in the canyon wind as it hits his face. Then, wordlessly, he turns around and begins trotting away. Ben grunts, certain that this'll be the last they see of the silver kid. By now John has managed to catch up too, and he's equally surprised that Gin seems to be giving up the ghost.
But Gin wasn't leaving. He was merely getting some running distance between himself and the cliff's edge. He turns back around as everyone looks on. Memories of his past misadventures with ravines cloud Gin's senses, but only for an instant. Letting go of his doubts, he barrels towards the gorge.
Everyone gasps, certain he won't make it. Even John cries out for him to stop. But Gin's running too fast to stop. He has no choice but to try. And try he does, for he gives the biggest leap of his life the moment he reaches the edge.
Then everyone gasps yet again, because Gin's descending quickly without being anywhere near the other side. John swears aloud, his tough guy facade cracking as his frenemy plummets. Everyone is certain Gin will go the way of 50% of Disney villains, but he doesn't. Instead, the harsh winds from below give the lean little dude an extra push upwards.
As the plot spits openly on physics' face, Gin surfs the invisible wave to the other side, landing further out then any of the other dogs did. Ben praises Gin for his achievement. Gin puffs out his chest and states he's earned his right to meet The Leader, yeah?
Everyone is in agreement that Gin can come with, but first a wee small problem has occurred. Madara wasn't satisfied with just one beheading, so she followed the group so as to slap more heads off more shoulders.
A lone John snarls at her, thinking this will be the perfect time to flex on all the haters who are watching. He takes his own running leap towards her and she promptly smacks him in the ribs hard enough to knock him on his ass. John's too proud to surrender, so he keeps trying to fight as he stumbles around painfully.
Gin can't stand seeing his pigheaded compadre in danger, so he waits for another air current to whoosh its way up and coasts back over to help a brother out. He calls back to the pack that they still owe him one free meet-n-greet with their boss before he goes to stomp in some bear teeth.
Impressed by Gin's loyalty, Ben orders the other dogs to go back over and fight Madara off. After a hearty round of knuckle cracking and leg stretches, everyone literally leaps into battle.
Spooked by the sudden resistance, Madara tucks tail and runs away, a universal gesture meaning Fuck This. Ben tells everyone not to bother following as they've got other business to attend to now, like, for instance, welcoming two new members into their ranks. The dane regains his composure completely and begins initiating the two newbz with some introductions.
He is (obviously) Ben, leader of the first platoon. Cross is his second in command, a title unique to his platoon and bestowed upon her for her especially leet skills. The mantle dane is Great, leader of the second platoon. The scrappy Spaniel mix is Smith, leader of the third platoon. Gin and John share their own names despite having no platoons to speak for.
Ben further explains that the Ohu army is named after the mountain atop which their boss commands them, and that the army itself is made up of 12 different platoons of feral dogs.
Antsy as per ush, Gin asks for the billionth time when they're gonna meet the big boss himself. Ben smiles and lets him know that they're finally, FINALLY heading back to Ohu mountain to meet him. As the pack heads out in earnest, their ears are met with more powerful howls. Gin's spine tingles with anticipation. He has got to meet the dog attached to that voice.
Ben begins leading everyone to the gathering place, certain the CEO of Army Dogs, Inc. has something important to say. Ben's group isn't the only one making its way downtown, though. Several other squadrons are falling in line, coming to a stop at the foot of the forest's broadest mountain. Ben and Friends are tardy to this party, as every other platoon has already arrived.
John hangs back with Gin for a moment. He tells Gin that this is great and all, but he's not into the whole "being part of something bigger then yourself" thing. He wants to be THE big thing. So when he gets a chance to, he's gonna kick the leader's ass and take his name, becoming new leader of all his loyal servants.
Gin thinks this is the dumbest shit he's ever heard and says so as he tries to dissuade John from bouts of idiotic egotism. John ignores him and they both run to join the others.
They regroup just in time to see Ben, Great, and Smith being yelled at by a Doberman Pinscher for being late. The group crumples like guilty children at the mention of a mark on their permanent records as Ben tells General Sniper, the Boss's second in command, to lay off.
Ben says he's the one at fault here because he commanded all three platoons to save some new recruits from a bear attack. He gestures to John and Gin with the assurance that they're worthy fighters and loyal to the cause. John introduces himself with a smug grin and Gin introduces himself with a more down to Earth smile.
Sniper begins huffing and puffing about how it's bad enough Ben brought some up-his-own-ass pretty boy here, but he also brought some kid who's not fully grown yet. What does he think this is, a daycare? When Ben respectfully explains that he wouldn't bring fighters he believed to be incapable, Sniper starts throwing a hissy fit about how Ben's in no position to pull rank, sounding like the sort of bratty kid he's afraid of letting join.
Smith leans over to Gin and whispers for him not to worry, Sniper's just pissy because Ben made a sound decision without his say. Sniper can't stand the idea of Ben being more in charge then him. Truthfully, the general's started to hate Ben, probably because the dane's made a good impression on the leader and Snipey Boy's afraid of having his job stolen.
Gin's about to try faking an understanding of workplace drama when the clouds in the sky shift and send moonlight flowing down over the once unreadable silhouette of the leader.
Gin's breath catches in his throat. He knows that dog. It's his father. It's Riki! He's looking a little rough given the massive scars he's received from his one-off gig as Akakabuto's punching bag, but it's undoubtedly him. His powerful but gentle eyes meet Gin's.
Without thinking, Gin bounds up the mountain to see his father, unable to contain himself. The other dogs gape in horror at his insolence. These others excluding Sniper, that is, because Sniper is overcome with irritation. Not only did Ben bring a kid here, but the boy doesn't even know his place. Gin doesn't notice because he's paying no mind to anything except Riki. He cries out "Father! That's my father!"
Sniper's had enough, and he leaps to beat Gin into submission. As he tussles with Gin, he snaps about how that is NOT the way we act in the army, maggot! Everyone looks on unsure of what to do when Riki speaks, his voice just as booming and powerful as his howls. A well emphasized "Stop" is all it takes to break up the fight and focus all eyes on him. When he has everyone's attention, he continues with "Sniper, that's enough. Show some respect."
As everyone settles, Riki continues. The lad held his own well against the general, which proves him a capable fighter. Further, Riki is flattered that one of his newest recruits would see him as a father figure. He says he regards all his soldiers as his children, and he truly appreciates their devotion. Everyone just kinda takes this and runs with it while John tells Gin that sucking up is for losers.
Gin can't find the right words to explain himself, but he's confident that this dog is Riki. He just can't fathom how his dad has both survived and forgotten who Gin is.
Riki continues on. The dogs gathered here today share a common goal: kill Akakabuto dead. He's ruining the lives of every human in Futago pass and lbr most of the dogs' lives, too. In fact, it seems like the redheaded shithead is trying to establish a stronghold, constantly expanding his territory further and further. This has caused both he and his followers to boldly infringe on human settlements, and now they hold the countryside in an iron grip.
As everyone here knows from experience, bears are like 10x stronger then any individual dog. Even an average pack of dogs would be lucky to down a fully grown brown bear. To fight an army, one needs an army. Problem is that the surrounding neighborhoods have all been stripped of competent fighters. Given this, the plan is now to gather more dogs, experienced ones of varying backgrounds and skillsets, from other parts of the country.
And so Riki is giving every platoon 3 months to gather as many soldiers as they can from all around Japan. The pack is to rejoin here three full moons from now with as many dogs as they can manage, and then everyone will stop the Futago pass menace once and for all.
The crowd of dogs shout adulations, determined to complete their mission. Riki begins dividing the platoons into groups and sending them separate directions to cover more ground. Platoons 1-3 (and by extension, Gin and John) will head south, 4-6 will go north, 7-9 go west, and 10-12 go east.
While the troops leave to find recruits, Riki will remain here, learning about the bears' own army and, if he can manage it, shaving a few off their numbers before the final battle. Everyone will depart at dawn, so they'd better get some shut eye tonight.
In an endearing display of comaraderie, the dogs settle in to sleep by cuddling up beside each other. John and Gin lay beside one another for a moment before John gets up. He gives Gin a gentle nudge to rouse him and tells him he's blowing this popsicle stand. He doesn't wanna lead a buncha people who are dumb enough to think they can down Akakabuto with no fire power. Wars aren't won on good intentions, they're won with guns and shit. He's gonna go home to Hidetoshi to help him instead.
During a lull in conversation, the two hear someone approaching. They quickly pretend to be asleep, snoring loudly and unconvincingly.
It's Riki, come to stare wordlessly at Gin as the hamster wheel that he calls a brain starts spinning. He's not entirely convinced that the kid called him Papa out of flattery. Who IS this kid? Hell, who is HE? Gin knows him as Riki, but Riki himself doesn't even remember his name. All he knows himself as is The Boss.
He doesn't remember his past. He doesn't remember anything before waking up at the bottom of the pit. All he remembers is a seething, incomprehensible hatred for the red backed tyrant. He shakes his head and goes back to his cliff, a shooting star's tail following him in the night sky.
Without anyone's knowledge, two conniving-looking silhouettes have been gazing at both the boss and Gin this whole time. One silhouette belongs to General Sniper, still assmad about the leader backing up a newbie who's still wet behind the ears. The other is his only "friend" and henchdog, a Weimaraner named Hyena.
Sniper thinks aloud that maybe there was some truth to the kid calling the boss his dad. Hyena politely dismisses the idea, saying that all Akitas look the same. It's a good thing it's probably not true, he says, because the boss would surely pass on his position to his own kid instead of Sniper-Sama. Hyena dumbly snorts to himself about how silly the idea is as Sniper sits stewing and staring.
Gin and John stand up. They murmur to each other before approaching Ben. Gin tries to rouse the resting dane, tries to say he's going back to the village but he'll be back in a jiffy, but Ben's out cold. John gets bored of waiting and takes off alone, so Gin just whispers into Ben's ear that he promises to return before following the shepherd.
When the two are out of sight, Ben and Cross lift their heads, having been pretending to sleep this whole time. They were a lot more convincing because they weren't snoring like malfunctioning chainsaws.
Cross tells Ben she believes Gin's telling the truth about being back soon. She figures that he just wants to say goodbye to his boy. Ben teases Cross, suggesting she's gone soft on the human race. She nips at his ear playfully, reminding him that she trusts youngsters more then adults.
She gives a wistful look in Gin's direction, muttering something about how he's likely spent very little time away from his mother. Her eyes glaze over as Ben reaches out to touch her paw. He whispers that she did all she could for her own children, and she lies her head against his shoulder.
As the two bros are heading back to the village, John tells Gin he should stay home with him instead of cavorting around the woods with a bunch of suicidal maniacs. Gin disagrees. John tells Gin that he's just a kid so CLEARLY he's too young to understand that only dumdum morons put their trust in a group.
Gin stops running and tells John that he doesn't care what he thinks, it's better to try instead of standing by while their home is terrorized, and if John can't understand that, then he needn't join the pack anyway.
John stops, taken aback. He looks over his shoulder and meets Gin's glare. His eyes drift over the scars on Gin's forehead as he heaves a sigh. Despite the rocky nature of the two's relationship, John admits aloud that he can't help but respect Gin's conviction.
"Don't let it go to your head or anything," he says, "but there have been a lotta times where you've surprised me. Just come back home in one piece."
Gin nods solemnly before his crinkled brow settles into a warm smile. John chuckles and jokingly tells Gin to have a nice life starving in the wilderness. Gin teases back that he hopes John has an equally nice life sleeping on 300 different dog beds. John half jokes that he'll be too busy killing Akakabuto to rest.
Gin doesn't agree or disagree, but he grows serious for a moment and asks John to take care of Daisuke while he's gone. He knows the boy will be heartbroken when he realizes his dog is missing. John nods and wordlessly disappears into the night.
Gin heads to Daisuke's house and sniffs him out, finding him sleeping in the shed alongside his mother and siblings. He wonders if Daisuke was waiting for him to return home as he pulls a loose blanket over the dozing child. Daisuke stirs momentarily in his sleep, and Gin's face softens. Gin murmurs Daisuke's name when he notices someone sitting up in the corner of the room.
It's his mother Fuji, gazing tiredly but lovingly at him. For a moment, Gin considers telling her everything about the night; about the pack, about the bears, about Riki.
But he doesn't. He just tearfully tells her that he's going away for a while. Fuji opens her mouth as if to speak, but she doesn't. She just smiles weakly at her son. She trusts he'll return one of these days. Gin whispers for his mother to take care of Daisuke while he's away. The young akita turns to leave, suddenly overcome with emotion. It's been such a long time since he's sought connection with his mother, and he fears that he may never get another chance to.
Before he leaves he runs back and leans against her, tears streaming down his muzzle. Fuji licks her son's head for the first time since he was a baby and tells him that whatever he's going to do, she knows he'll do her proud.
Gin flees into the night. He feels like a child again, and not in a good way. His father doesn't recognize him, he's had to leave his mother and boy behind, and, truth be told, part of him is scared that he'll be leaving home for unseen lands with a bunch of strangers. He externalizes the tidal wave of emotions sweeping over him with a howl as he departs his place of birth.
Gin quietly returns to the pack and slips in beside the others, finally settling in to sleep. While he's in la la land, he begins dreaming.
He dreams of fighting the mother bear he killed with Daisuke, only now she's utterly massive. She strikes Gin across the forehead, scarring his face. As the scars bleed, they work through Gin's body, splitting him into four equally sized slices of somehow still-living dog.
He wails as Ben, Cross, and the others materialize behind him, leaping over him and tearing just as easily through the mother bear, turning her to a few dark brown ribbons. The dogs give one last battle cry as Gin is woken by a gentle nudge to his shoulder. It's Cross come to collect him.
It's time to start their journey. And oh what a journey it will be - there's a LOT of running ahead of them. Ben leads the charge as everyone follows behind him. The pack runs over rocky terrain, never halting.
Gin's a disciplined young dogman, but he's also young enough to have trouble containing his curiosity. He breaks out of formation for a moment to examine the trail alongside to road, only doubling back once Ben tsk tsks at him. The sight of the dogs galloping along makes good montage fodder, but GAWD they just keep going and going.
Hyena seems to think the same thing, and he begins bitching audibly about how the journey will be long enough without everyone having to babysit. Great rolls up beside Hyena and, in all his Greatness, tells the whinerbaby that they can always send him back to The General, his own sitter, if he can't nut up and shut up. Hyena buckles instantly, but Gin's overheard his complaints and decides to keep a close eye on the fusspot.
The dogs continue running. They don't pause to sleep all that night, and they continue into the wee hours of the morning. By now they've left Akakabuto's in-progress bear suburbs far behind, instead entering Yamanashi. Kai more specifically.
Cross speaks for everyone when she says that holy shit she's tired can they please rest oh my god. Ben agrees, making believe his lungs aren't fixing to burst, and the pack settles in the shadow of a cliff.
Everyone collapses into a dogpile of panting, wheezing bodies. Even little Gin's muscles ache like the dickens, and he's used to long runs. Ben, still pretending that his legs aren't about to liquefy, tells Gin that it's his duty as the newest recruit to find food for the pack. Gin's feeling a bit overwhelmed by the command when Cross elects to join him. She insists it's not to go easy on him, but more because there's a lot of soldiers to feed. Ben lets the two go.
Gin and Cross start poking around the surrounding forest. It doesn't take Cross long to find and maul a quail, and Gin is very impressed. He asks her if she'd been a hunting dog before, to which she responds politely but in a way that's like WELL DUH.
Cross explains that, like most of the other soldiers, she'd belonged to a hunter back in her day. When Gin asks for a bit more elaboration, Cross's face falls and she changes the subject back to bird slaying. Gin shrugs and then yoinks a bird out the sky.
After a while spent downing a flock of avian idiots, the pack has their fill. Ben lets everyone know that as soon as they're all done eating they've got to get a move. Hyena pipes up and says he doesn't understand why they're out where nobody lives when they're meant to be looking for dogs. Ben condescendingly smiles at him and explains that he doesn't owe Hyena an explanation for anything okey sweaty <333
Great agrees that Hyena sucks ass and all, but he too would like to know what they're doing here. Ben tells everyone all will be revealed shortly, and everyone gets back into, you guessed it, jogging.
Ben leads the pack to a rocky overhang, showing them all a city miles below. The city is Kofu, and it's where Ben was born and raised. He knows the ins and outs of the city and the forest, and he knows from his history here that the city dogs can't compare to an illusive lot who's set up permanent camp in the woods. Gin is about to say that that doesn't actually explain anything tbh before Ben rallies everyone to run again.
Unfortunately the dogs are forced off the path by a massive wild boar barreling towards them. They disband in an effort to get out of its way and the unlucky among them are trampled or, like Gin, flung painfully to the side.
Despite the boar's unwieldy size and propensity to beat strangers without a second thought, it's being followed closely behind by three Kai Ken dogs, all of whom are dwarfed by most of the soldiers but are notably muscular for their height. The tiger-striped trio utilized their gymrat bods to down the boar in moments, and they merrily begin tearing into the beast's corpse while it's still warm.
Everyone is confounded by the triplets, but it's pretty obvious Ben means to recruit them. Ben explains that they're known creatively among local dogs as The Kai Brothers, and they're a devilish sort.
Each brother is, funnily enough, representative of each color the Kai breed comes in: red (light brindle), brown (normal brindle), and black (heavy brindle). Akatora ("red tiger") is the red guy, Chutora ("brown tiger") is the brown one-eared guy, and Kurotora ("black tiger") is the black one-eyed guy. Ben explains that the reason the manlets are so powerful for their size is because they were abandoned at a young age and forced to fend for themselves early on.
This entire introduction has happened no more then 20 feet from the brothers, and they aren't amused at a biography written about them while they're eating. Akatora tells Ben to shut his exposition-hole and get the fuck out of their territory. Smith mutters about the trinity's lack of table manners and Kurotora shows they mean business by knocking Smith on his ass.
Cross tells Ben these guys are assholes not fit for an army, but Ben insists they need their strength. Good to his word, Ben approaches the three and asks them polite as peaches if they'd join his ranks and fight alongside him. Like, as payment for the past.
Before Ben can explain either to the bros or to the audience what he means by "the past", the short kings get pissed and start beating the shit out of him. Chutora says that maybe, just maybe, if Ben defeats them, they'll cut a deal, but nobody has ever defeated them in hand-to-hand (paw-to-paw?) combat before, so the odds aren't great.
Unwilling to watch Ben get his ass handed to him by dogs half his size and twice his temper, Gin joins the fray and catches Kurotora by the tail. Cross also tries to save her doghusband by pile driving Churotora. As the married couple busies themselves with two of the brothers, Gin spends some time taunting Kurotora while leaping around, trying to wear him out.
This doesn't work, as the little black mad lad is too vicious to be reasoned with. Kurotora is offended that another brindle dare turns his fangs against him, and so snaps at Gin. Gin dodges out of the way at the last second and the Kai Ken chomps not into him but into a hunk of bark off of a tree. This forces Gin to acknowledge that he is super fucked if Kurotora bites him.
Gin runs away with Kurotora trailing behind him. Meanwhile, Ben and Cross are dealing with their own hang-ons. Chutora refuses to release Cross's throat no matter how much the comparatively giant woman tosses him around. Ben's got the same issue with Akatora swinging from his scruff.
Ben commands his men to stay back, insisting he and Cross can handle the situation as Cross kinda disagrees by yelling Ben's name. Akatora's onslaught comes to a halt as he rolls the name Ben around in his mind. He swears he's heard it somewhere before.
Gin sprints back to his struggling friends and cannonballs on Chutora, effectively freeing Cross from his piranha grip. Cross scolds Gin for his savior complex and Gin scolds Chutora for beating up on a chick. Chutora and Kurotora are both confused and a touch embarrassed, saying they mistook Cross for a dude with a high voice. Smith coughs awkwardly from the sidelines.
Kurotora goes back to chasing Gin while Chutora questions whether it's more or less misogynistic to hit a woman in this situation. Cross responds to his moral dilemma with her teeth.
Akatora is still clinging to Ben, only releasing his grip to grab softer areas and mock Ben for being the weakest pack leader he's ever met. Ben says he has no desire to harm any of the brothers. Akatora just laughs and continues biting before Ben does something unexpected.
The dane cranes his neck awkwardly to look at the dog biting his belly and says "You really have grown, Little Tiger." Akatora freezes at the words, overcome with an emotion he wasn't aware he could feel.
Akatora releases Ben and stares at him, jaw hanging open. He runs over to Chutora and tells him to hit pause on the brawling. Chutora asks why, but Akatora ignores him and says they need to find Kurotora before it's too late. Only problem is that nobody was paying attention to where he and Gin ran off to, so the pack gets off their asses at long last to go find them.
Kurotora is hunting for his prey beside a pond. The kid ran out of sight and he's definitely cowering somewhere nearby. Unbeknownst to Kurotora, Gin isn't hiding in fear. He's standing above him on a tree branch, the months he spent leaping across houses having paid off.
The Akita jumps down on the Kai Ken, catching the one-eyed hoodlum off guard. The two tumble into the pond where Gin gains the upper hand. Killing two birds with one plot device, Gin utilizes his underwater training to slap Kurotora around under the surface. His opponent is untrained in the art of water boxing, so Kurotora ain't doin' so hot.
But Gin is no murderer, just a violent juvenile delinquent. When Kurotora's been subdued (i.e. passed out from water inhalation), Gin pulls him back out of the pond. While the two were playing splashies, the rest of the dogs have found them, and everyone gazes over Gin's shoulder as he performs CPR (Canine Pondwater Removal) on his waterboarded opponent.
Kurotora vomits up a lot of water and a little fish as he rejoins the land of the living, and he's ready to give Gin proper retribution before Akatora tells him to knock that shit off.
Akatora goes on to explain that they can't kill friends of their former godfather, the man to which they owe their lives. The pack is confused before Akatora elaborates: Ben was a hunting dog who often came to their forest with his master. During one of his last hunts here, the then-infant brothers had been oot and aboot looking for prey when they were attacked by a pine martin. The animal tried to kill them, half-blinding Kurotora in the process, before the great dane came and rescued them.
The dane continued to look after the boys when his master took them in, and he allowed them to head back to the woods when they hit adolescence and could better protect themselves.
The bros apologize to Ben for the whole ass-beating thing, to which the old dog just smiles. Everyone chills out. Gin apologizes for waterlogging Kurotora and Ben and Cross lick one another's wounds. When everyone's made peace, Ben says that he came out here to ask the trio for a favor. Could they pretty please join his platoon in the battle against The Bear Menace?
The Three Stooges say they'd be happy to help Ben with anything, especially if it involves killing something. That said, they have a personal issue with a neighbor they'd like to resolve first, and if Ben would be willing to help that'd be greeeeaaaat.
They explain that a fat bastard named Moss lives nearby with his own pack on a mountain peak called Kasume Dake ("Misty Mountain"). He's got his own army in a way, though they're more like mafioso then soldiers.
Ben thinks it over a moment and asks the three if they think Moss would be willing to lend his own strength to the cause. None of the bros can make any promises, but if given enough "persuasion" (wink wink nudge nudge wiNK WINK) they figure Moss would agree to anything. Otherwise it'd just be nice to be rid of the obese tyrant.
So it's settled. The newest recruits are The Brothers Kai, and the posse's next stop will be Kasume Dake. Everyone takes off running yet again, this time followed by the three brindle brethren. Ben praises Gin for holding his own in battle, to which the younger dog humbly smiles.
The pack continues their trek and everyone is in high spirits except for, curiously, Hyena. The dog is discreetly snorting to himself, a mischievous look spreading across his face.

End of episode 3, which marks the kinda sorta halfway point of this series. This is where things really start amping up plotwise.

Sleeping Beauty
A Linked Universe fluff one-shot for Hyrule Week 2019
“Your Zelda is super nice, Sky!” Wind sang giddily. Sky smiled and put a hand to the back of his neck. The crew had just finished their visit to Sky’s small cottage. When they had found themselves in this Hyrule at the beginning of ages, the man had been ecstatic. They’d been on their journeyings for almost two months now, and it was clear to see that the Skyloftian had sorely missed his princess.
Hyrule could relate to that sentiment. But he also wasn’t too keen on subjecting the group to his monster-ridden kingdom – or subjecting himself either – so he tried to quell his heartache.
“She reminded me a lot of Mipha,” Wild hummed.
“Mipha?” Legend laughed. “That fish girl?”
Wild scowled. “She’s was a Zora Princess. And a badass.”
Sky tilted his head. “’Was’?”
The mood of the group suddenly turned somber, the heroes coming to a halt, as Wild dropped his gaze to the forest floor. Legend’s eyes went as wide as saucers.
“She’s gone now.” Wild’s voice was slow and soft. “I don’t even remember her that well. But I know that she loved me a lot. I don’t remember if I loved her back, but she was kind, and smart, and amazing with a trident.” He gave a small sigh, and lifted his head to meet Sky’s gaze. “But it’s okay. It was really nice to meet your Zelda and be reminded of Mipha’s grace.”
Sky smiled. “I’m glad.”
“What about your Zelda, Wild?” Warriors asked. “We haven’t met her yet. What’s she like?”
Wild’s face broke into a devious grin. “Let’s just say her intellect is bigger than your ego.”
Raucous laugher filled the clearing where they had stopped, Warriors’ mouth dropping open for an appalled glare. As the somber mood vanished, they began walking again.
“You’ve got a Zelda, too, right Warriors?” Wind added cheerfully.
“I do,” he conceded, “A warrior queen if there ever was one. She’s quite the tactician.”
“You don’t sound like you’re smitten like our Cloudtop Boy over here,” Legend smirked.
Warriors stretched, clasping his hands behind his head. “She’s amazing, and undisputedly beautiful, but I haven’t decided what I feel yet.”
“But you feel something?” Twilight thought aloud.
“Something would definitely be the right word,” Warriors chuckled. “What about you? Got a girl back home? When we were in your Hyrule it didn’t seem like you and the princess were involved with each other much.”
Twilight gave a pained smile. “I honestly don’t know.”
“Don’t know?” Wind started. “How can you not know?”
“She went back to her realm before ‘feelings’ ever came up, and there’s no way to get there now. Not that I’ve found, anyway.” He sighed. “But she was incredible. Strong, smart, beautiful, and just the right amount of sassy. And a princess of her own kingdom to boot.”
“She sounds like Tetra,” Wind nodded.
“A princess of her own kingdom…?” Warriors screwed his face into a focused frown. “Wait, does she have orange hair?”
Twilight gave a start. “Yes, why?”
Warriors’ concentration turned into a grin. “Midna.”
Twilight inhaled so sharply he choked on his breath. “H-how do you know her name?”
“I’ve met her,” Warriors laughed in disbelief. “The Twilight Realm, right? That’s where you get your name from, isn’t it?”
“Y-yeah it is,” he sputtered, putting a hand to his head. “You mean to say that… that maybe…?”
Warriors nodded. Hyrule laughed jovially with the others as Twilight’s face beamed with a shocked but renewed hope.
“Looks like you might just get your happy ending after all, pup,” Time said, ruffling the man’s hair with a smirk.
“Like you did?” Four added. “You and Malon click better than any pair I’ve met.”
Time laughed. “It helps that she didn’t spurn me immediately like the princess did.” He smiled softly at his boots. “The princess was beautiful, but I’ve had lifetimes to fall in love with Malon, and I do it all over again every single day.”
“That sounds like a fantastic happy ending,” Hyrule mused.
“What about you, ‘Rule?” Legend clapped a hand on his shoulder. “You’ve got two Zeldas, don’t you?”
Hyrule was half-hoping they wouldn’t ask for the sake of his throbbing heart, but wasn’t surprised that they did. Now that the gates were open, he wasn’t going to resist the emotions any further.
“Queen Zelda and I don’t interact much since I saved her,” he began, “but Zelda the First is a different story.”
“Zelda the First?” Wind puzzled. “Wait, I’m confused, why do you have two Zeldas again? And which is which?”
Hyrule chuckled thoughtfully. “When I was 12 I rescued the then-princess from Ganon, much like the rest of you did. She returned to her rule and became Queen not long after – she’s almost ten years older than me, after all. But when I turned 16? That’s when things got hairy.”
“Aren’t you only 18 now?” Time chuckled.
“Yeah, or somewhere around there.” Hyrule didn’t notice the others rolling their eyes. “Anyway, some things happened and Impa took me to the North Castle, where she told me the Legend of Zelda. Apparently, maybe like a century before my time, one of the kings of Hyrule didn’t want his corrupt son to become a tyrant with the complete Triforce, so he hid the Triforce of Courage away and only told his daughter, Zelda, where it was. The prince didn’t like that and had his advisor try and weasel it out of her with magic, but she wouldn’t give in. The wizard ended up casting an eternal sleeping curse on her before promptly kicking the bucket, so there was no way to wake her up.”
The party had come to a halt yet again, all eyes glued on Hyrule. As he continued, he felt his emotions swelling in his chest.
“The prince sealed her away in the castle in the hopes that one day, someone would retrieve the Triforce of Courage and use it to break the curse.” He clasped his left hand with his right. “I knew I had to find it, not just for the princess, but for the kingdom. Hyrule needed a complete Triforce to rebuild. But before I could go, Impa took me to the Chamber of the Princess.”
Hyrule could remember that moment as if it were happening as he spoke. The doors of the sealed chamber slid open, light cascading through the intricate skylight in rays of blue and white. In the center of the room, a stone pedestal stood, the legends of heroes past carved into the base with stunning precision. On the pedestal lay a girl not much older than himself, her delicate frame clad in a layered silk gown of pinks and whites. Her sunny, auburn curls draped elegantly over her shoulders and across the cold marble. Time had stood still in that moment, and something beautiful had begun in his heart.
“Things changed for me after that,” he continued, closing his eyes with a soft smile. “The kingdom was important, but she was always in my thoughts. Every fight, every puzzle, every dream… she was there. And when I finally succeeded, I…”
He trailed off, reliving his most treasured memory as his heart threatened to burst. Her eyes had fluttered open as she took her first breath in decades. He’d watched in open-mouthed awe as she awoke, rising slowly and shakily from her bed of stone, dazedly coming to her senses, and eventually meeting his gaze. Blue eyes. He’d seen those blue eyes in his sleep, peering at him pleadingly. And now, those eyes met his own with a shimmer of gratitude.
“She knew who I was when she awoke,” he said softly. “She had watched my journey from her dreams, and she tried to rush to me the moment she got to her feet. I don’t think she realized she might not be able to walk just yet.” He chuckled. “I caught her as she stumbled, and…”
The feel of her in his arms flooded his mind and his eyes slid closed once again. So delicate, so beautiful, her weakened frame trembling in his embrace. She’d sobbed into his chest as he held her close, tears pricking at his eyes. When the drops finally fell, they mingled with hers – tears of joy.
You’ve saved Hyrule, she had said. You’re a hero.
He’d grinned. I did it to save you.
Her delicate hands had cupped his jaw, her overwhelming gratitude pouring from her heart right into his, as she pulled him into a kiss.
And that – that was something too special to share.
“Sounds like you’ve found your happy ending, too,” Sky sang pleasantly. He sighed, gazing up at the clouds in contentment. “Will we get to meet her? If we end up in your time?”
Hyrule put a hand to his pouch. Inside, he felt a small, square lump. His heart swelled.
“Definitely.”

I drew this ship for my Spaceships and Starwyrms campaign. They’ve been saving up a lot of credits to upgrade their starter ship (which I’ll be posting next), and this is what we’ve come up with!
~~~
A new ship has a certain… silhouette. In the light of the stars and air-dock halogen, they glimmer, they shine. They don’t have the scuffs that cause light to catch and dull across their surfaces, their barrier is completely active and is almost invisible, but visible just enough to change the light quality as it passes throug, bounces off the glimmering hull, and then reflects back out. It is beautiful, in the way all things new are beautiful.
This ship is not new. This ship is scratched, dented, scarred. To many, this ship is far more beautiful, because it clearly works. It has been tested. It bears the signs of traveling through a meteor storm without serious damage. There’s a curious starburst, a splayed burn that runs across the top of one of its wings, that anyone with any understanding of weapon systems would recognize as the mark left when a Plasma Cannon hits point-blank but doesn’t punch through the hull. This ship is not new. But it is badass. It has been through the ringer, and it came out blasting.
The vessel looks sort of like an axe blade with a truncated handle. It has a wingspan of over a hundred and fifty feet and is about two hundred feet long. The shortest point is the tip of the wings, which are about thirty feet tall at the ends. From the bottom of the hangar bay in the rear to the top of the command deck, the ship’s almost a hundred feet in height. On the top of each wing and nestled just behind the command deck are the three weapon systems of the ship, and dotting the top of the wings are the various communications and scanning arrays the ship utilizes.
The twin engines sit at the back of the wings, and the sweep of the ship’s rear is interrupted by three large doors: one in the middle that accesses the hangar, and the two smaller ones that open onto the cargo holds.
~~~
The ship’s interior is retro-fitted to fit a curious aesthetic. The deck-plates beneath your feet have been altered to resemble wooden floorboards, and the doors, while still opening upwards into the bulkhead like most saguarin doors, look like carved oak. The window portholes have been altered to have actual sills and to be square or rectangular, and much of the furniture is either made from actual wood, with the stuff that couldn’t be bought like that made from cleverly-disguised metal or plastic. The air is rather dry and warm, and the lighting system has a slightly-harsher glare than you might be used to.
Individual Room Descriptions below the cut
The Life Deck: Bottom Floor
1 - The Mess Hall: The mess hall is loaded with outdated but functional equipment. Along the front wall is a refrigerator, a reheater, and a coffee pot, and drawers sit under the countertop. Along the back wall is a sink, complete with food-waste incinerator and next to it an electric stove top. A tall pantry sits in the corner. On the other side is a stair-case leading up to a balcony overlooking the mess hall (see area 12).
2 - Crew Quarters: These rooms are all furnished more or less the same. There’s a tall dresser with drawers in it, a desk, and a bed. The bed mattresses are old and dusty but perfectly usable, and the furniture has scuff marks, likely from wherever it had been stored before it was hastily thrown into the room. There’s a single window looking out into space, and the door can be locked from the inside.
3 – The Sonic Cleanser: This small room has a rack for hanging your clothes and a retractable table for doing whatever else needs doing immediately before or after bathing. The sonic cleanser, similar to but less wasteful than a standard shower, takes up the back half of the room. This room uses sound to force off dirt, dead skin, and other undesirable coatings. Special soap sits in cubbies on the walls.. The cleanser has controls for different settings, and it is currently set to its maximum force. The cleanser can be set to use water, but it is a severe drain on water supplies: the water generator can only work so fast.
4 – The Food Waste Room: This small room has a single sink that can be set to use water or sonics for cleaning, some soaps, a cupboard full of recently-purchased toiletries of all kinds, and a toilet. The room has an air of being completely unused until very, very recently.
5 – The Medbay: This room comes equipped with a rolling cart, a bunch of cupboards for the storage of medical supplies, and a large table that could have a mattress secured to it if one needed to remain in medbay for a long time. With the upgrades to the ship, the Medbay is now equipped with a toilet and sink, and a second bed platform folded up against one wall.
6 - The Central Ladder: This open space is dominated by a large, reinforced ladder that goes up to the next floor. It leads up through to Deck Two and then further up to The Bridge (see areas 15 and 19).
7 – The AI Core: This room’s door is labeled “Ship Habitation Interface Technology: Unit 33 Control Room.” Inside is a massive computer system, a single small desk, and a chair. The room is exceptionally cold.
8 – Storage Rooms: These rooms are for storing small, non-essential but useful goods. Back-up rations, extra tools, and spare parts are just some of the eclectic things stored in these spaces.
9 - Hangar: This massive room is mostly empty space. The Hangar is meant to store multiple ships, and currently you’ve only got one shuttle. Even with the free modification making it larger, the shuttle looks miniscule in the cavernous space. Doors dot the walls, and a big one on the back wall opens up into space.
9a - Lifts: The two lifts here lead up into the Engineering level on Deck 2 (see area 18).
9b - Tiny Ship Dock: The Hangar has four locations within the hangar to dock a tiny-sized ship, or a vehicle of huge-size or smaller. If two of the docking slots are empty, you could use them to secure a small sized ship.
9c - The Shuttle: The shuttle itself is docked here. When upgrading the ship, there was enough left over material and credits to bump up the shuttle to fit a few extra people.
9d - The Hangar Doors: These huge doors are almost three feet thick. It takes almost thirty seconds for them to open fully, though they open just enough for a tiny ship to fit through in about six seconds. A large ramp can be extended from the back of the hangar when the doors are fully opened, to allow vehicles or passengers to come up from the ground.
10a - The Left Engine Room: The left wing of the ship is filled with one of the massive engines that propel the ship through space. At the front of the wing is the Atmosphere Apparatus and Water Generator system. The door out of 10a does not function if the Hangar is without atmosphere, unless the engine compartment is also without atmosphere or you override the controls. There’s a steep staircase leading up from the lower level to Deck 2 (See 18a).
10b - The Right Engine Room: The right wing of the ship is filled with one of the massive engines that propel the ship through space. At the front of the wing are the Heating Controls, the Power Distribution system, and the Solar Emitter Core that allows the lights to function as sunlight. The door out of 10b does not function if the Hangar is without atmosphere, unless the engine compartment is also without atmosphere or you override the controls. There’s a steep staircase leading up from the lower level to Deck 2 (See 18b).
11 - The Cargo Holds: There are two distinct cargo holds on either side of the ship, snug between engine and hangar. They’re reinforced rooms, the doors have powerful locks that can be coded to open with a three, five, or seven digit code. There are large doors that fold down to form a ramp along the back of these rooms.
The Work Deck: The Middle Floor
12 - The Balcony: A balcony runs the width of Deck 2, looking out over the mess hall and through the massive window that makes up the slanted roof of the mess hall. To the right of the balcony is a staircase leading down to the mess hall (area 1), and behind it is the hallway leading to the rest of Deck 2 and the Primary Airlock.
13 - The Primary Airlock: The airlock here is larger than it was before, with small lockers inside to store emergency gear. Currently the lockers are empty. From the airlock door, a thirty foot umbilical of metal can be extended outwards to connect to another ship’s airlock or another ship’s umbilical. This umbilical can curve up to 90 degrees, and can double as a ramp out of the ship.
14 - Storage: Another storage room, much like those on deck 1, this room is for storing the miscellaneous equipment one might need on deck 2, but doesn’t want to have to run downstairs to get it.
15 - The Central Ladder: This open space has doors on its three walls and a tunnel leading to the front of the ship. A ladder leads down to Deck 3 and up to the Bridge (see areas 6 and 19 respectively).
16 - The Science Lab: This room is full to bursting with state-of-the-art (but discounted) lab equipment. While in this room, researchers and scientists have advantage on Science skill checks that may benefit from such equipment.
17 - The Mechanics Workshop: The room here is filled with tools, spare components, and other useful gadgets and doodads for crafting and maintaining equipment and the ship itself. The mechanics workshop is considered to be stocked with the average tools needed for a Wisdom (Mechanics) skill check and also contains a built-in repair kit. Having a mechanics workshop onboard a ship cuts the time required to fix a damaged vessel by half, and allows you to speed-repair equipment. You can choose to cut the time it takes to repair a piece of damaged equipment in half, but doing so increases the DC by 5. If you fail by 10 or more while speed-repairing equipment, it becomes useless junk.
18 - Primary Engineering: The Primary Engineering room has tools and equipment for general ship maintenance, and provides quick access to all the integral systems of the ship. Two lifts descend into the Hangar (see 9a), and the computer on the back wall provides access to all the internal diagnostic and control systems necessary for running the ship.
18a - The Barrier Core: In the upper part of the left wing is the powerful barrier core that projects the protective energy field around the entire ship.
18b - The Power Core: In the upper part of the right wing is ship’s generator and power systems. The generator is what generates all the power in the ship.
The Command Deck: The Topmost Floor
19 - The Bridge: The bridge is slightly larger than before, but hasn’t changed too much. There are some extra seats to make the additional crew members a bit more comfortable when in a dog fight. The ladder leading down to area 15 and then to area 6 is still in the same place a few feet behind the captain’s chair, and can be lowered, covered with a trapdoor, and locked off.
20 - Escape Pods: With the larger ship came larger and more escape pods. Instead of two narrow, cramped pods that required you to climb up and down to get to the seats, these pods are built more like a shuttle.
21 - Communications Suite: The communication’s suite allows one to monitor communications, scan for signals, and project a secure network for all of your devices to interact with. The large comm arrays on either side make this possible, and all of the systems can be manipulated from the control computer on the desk along the back wall.

617: "Caesar's Defeat! The Powerful Grizzly Magnum!"
Tumblr media
Basically Caesar: “REEEEEEEEEEEEE, SCIENCE!!!”
Only had time for one episode today but caught a snippet of the preview and it seems like posting for one episode here will fit in terms of the story arc.
Caesar is down and out, Law has done what he came to do, and Luffy has executed step one of his plan to kick ass and kidnap! Now all he needs is the fantastically badass Usopp to come through with the cuffs and step two will be on the cards!
It’s all a matter of escaping Punk Hazard with Caesar in tow, plus Law, the Strawhats, a bunch of kids and maybe some surviving Minions and the G5 and Smoker and Tashigi and Foxfire and Momonosuke and Brownbeard.
Yeah, I hope Franky has some extra bed rolls hidden away in storage because that is a lot of extra bodies on Sunny.
Sanji will be fine. He worked at Baratie. He’s used to mass catering.
Law Tries Out His Stand Up Material On Vergo
Tumblr media
In other news, Vergo is still alive. I kind of hoped Law might have taken him out but this is One Piece and you guys have always said that Oda sees a future for most of his characters. (Even Wapol. Yes, I am still salty about Wapol.) Smoker was on the ground, breathing hard. Getting fresh air for once, instead of dat tasty tobacco.
Vergo is also still shit-talking. “You broke the gear? There’s no turning back? That’s hysterical.”
Brave for a guy who was (at that point) in two pieces with a building crumbling rapidly around him. Not to mention the noxious clouds of gas.
Then he used his hands to spring from the ground and attack Law. He was Roomed and doomed in two seconds, chopped into fractions and hung on the railings. (Approaching Nightmare Fuel territory if you think too much about it.)
Vergo totally reminds me of the Black Knight from Monty Python’s Life of Brian. If you’ve never heard of it, he’s basically this dude who keeps getting up and shit-talking his opponents even after the removal of all his limbs. It’s funny. Vergo even made a joke about it. “How will I eat breakfast tomorrow?” Yeah, he almost went full Black Knight there.
Except for the little serious turn when he threatened Law with Doflamingo’s past.
“How dare you, Law? This is an upset. But I know you’re going to regret it. Keep that in mind. You don’t know Joker’s past and that will cost you your life. Upstarts like you can’t hope to take over the world. It’s filled with those who are much stronger. Tell him, Smoker!”
First of all, why was he appealing to Smoker to back him up like a kid in a playground? The brazen cheek of it. As if. I’m glad Smoker blanked him and sparked up a fat Cuban cigar.
Secondly, what is all this about Doflamingo’s past? Why would that matter to Law? I’m trying to think what could possibly affect Law as much as Vergo says and I’m drawing a blank. The only thing that might be a bit meh is if Doflamingo was once a Marine. We already had that twist with Vergo.
At any rate, Law had had enough with Vergo running his mouth, and chopped his head into two pieces.
“Don’t worry about me. Just worry about yourself. This room will explode soon. Goodbye, Vergo the pirate.”
I ain’t bothered about Vergo. That guy is too arrogant for his own good and Law gave him a well-deserved taste of defeat. I just hope Law took Smoker with him.(It’d be hilarious if Law carried Smoker over his shoulder and they ran into Zoro carrying Tashigi over his shoulder. xD)
Speaking of Well-Deserved Tastes of Defeat...
Tumblr media
This guy...
I love a charismatic, melodramatic, total piece of crap villain, but Oda did a great job of making me loathe Caesar here. I think Luffy lamping him square on the chops unhinged him a little. Law destroying the SAD factory and the labs as a result probably finished Caesar off. His arrogance and cruelty was off the charts! I thought Spandam was bad. Caesar makes Spanda look like a playground bully.
I loved how when he realised Law had unleashed merry hell, Caesar’s reaction was, “Damn! Who caused that? I bet it was Law. What is Vergo doing? You Strawhats RUINED MY PARADISE!”
His paradise. Wow, that sure does give you a little peek into this dude’s mind.
And it gets better.
Caesar had a last-ditch plan to defeat Luffy. He called his Minions in the Secret Room. “R-Building, can you hear me? Secret Room, come in! Open the air vents now! Let Shinokuni flow into this room.”
The Minions, understandably, were reticent to do this because they are the kind of people who, like the Strawhats, look after their own. They asked, “but wouldn’t it kill our guys?”
Caesar was like, “Well, I’m a gas man. I’m not gonna die. You’re just guinea pigs. No one would care if hundreds of you died. You are just the dregs of society! What are you doing? Hurry up. I can find replacements for you fools so easily.”
Uh oh.
The mask came off. Caesar must have been so riled that he didn’t care if everyone saw his true nature. The poor, deluded Minions still clung to their vision of Caesar as their benevolent Master, their saviour.
“Oh, the Master is trying to fool the enemies. He must have a plan to do with the gas. It would hurt him to know we suspected him.”
Hurt him? Mate, Caesar has no feelings to be hurt. He has an ego the size of Laboon. That’s not the same thing.
So, of course the Minions pulled the lever. Shinokuni flowed into the room. And I had a facepalm moment at those poor, brainwashed Minions.
Caesar Does A Moria
Tumblr media
“Yes! About time,” Caesar shouted. “Dregs shouldn’t think. Now, become my power, Shinokuni. Look, Strawhat! Look at his amazing appearance. This is my scientific power. Through this experiment, two countries have already expressed interest in the weapon. They are both quite peaceful but when humans get serious about defending themselves, they’ll look for any way possible to kill their enemies. Everybody needs me! I’ll spread weapons all over the world and become King of the Land of Death.”
There are a couple of things to unpack here.
First of all, Caesar is completely demented. I mean, that was always obvious. But that ambition of his is twisted and terrifying. Worse, that Doflamingo gave him the traction to actually make it happen.
Secondly, he’s insane but he’s not stupid. Caesar has an eye for business and is, weirdly, able to charm people into believing his bullshit. He also knows the darker side of human nature and how to exploit it, like he has done with those peaceful islands. He is also smug in the knowledge that big shots in governments everywhere will always want him in their corner, so there will always be a place for someone like him. That was a definite Art Mirroring Life moment right there. Harsh but true, I guess. The guy who first split the atom and invented the atomic bomb was a hot commodity, right?
Third, Caesar basically did a Gekko Moria. Caesar took it a step further because he actually gleefully killed all his Minions. Moria just took the shadows back from already dead bodies. This was the logical conclusion of Caesar seeing other people as objects or commodities to be manipulated, used or destroyed as he sees fit. The way he happily killed them all was just nasty.  “It’s amazing, if I do say so myself. Look at how fast it acts on their nerves. It’s almost an art!” And when they begged him to stop, “I am your saviour and I can make efficient use of you good-for-nothings. You are just crumbs. You should not stand against your Master. Die like dogs!”
Crumbs. Dogs. Guinea pigs. Caesar always uses dehumanising language on his poor Minions. And everyone else for that matter. He really is a psychotic, nasty piece of work. If this guy is working for Doflamingo, I cannot wait to see what a horrible bastard Doflamingo turns out to be. xD
Caesar’s Off The Deep End Behaviour and his treatment of his own people caused Luffy to have the veiniest, super frown I have seen on his face so far. Luffy does not like people who betray and used their own crew/soldiers/comrades.
Luffy said to Momo, “Look after Brownbeard.” Then ran in the opposite direction. Of course, I knew Luffy was just looking to gain some distance. Caesar, of course, mistook it for Luffy chickening out all of a sudden.
There was one person who knew with absolute certainty that this was not the case.
Usopp Was Awesome Here
Tumblr media
Can I just talk for a moment about how awesome Usopp was here?
All through this arc, he’s been ridiculously brave. He volunteered to split up with Brook and Foxfire so he could work on his own to find the Sea Prism Stone cuffs for Luffy. He was creeping round the labs on his own and when he found the Secret Room, he did not run upon being confronted with a full squad of Minions. He simply used his smarts to evade capture. Because he knew there was something in there of value and Luffy needed his help.
When the Minions saw Caesar’s true nature over the DDM feed and were finally like, “OMG this guy is awful.” Usopp just walked up to them and said, “I know you’re all broken hearted here but could I sit in that control seat for a second? I wanna save my friends from the gas.”
See that? Usopp’s loyalty to his friends trumps all sense of fear.
When the Minions tried to shake Usopp by saying, “Yeah, you’ll never escape because your Captain just cut and run. He left you guys behind.“ Usopp was Not Having One Bit Of It.
“Whoa, whoa, whoa... Are you dissing our captain right in front of me? If he were the kind of person who’d betray us, this whole thing would’ve been much easier for me. I would’ve just run away with my tail between my legs. But he never, ever stops believing in us. So we have no choice but to support him. We pledged to live up to his expectations as long as we can breathe!”
There you have it. Right from the horse’s mouth. Luffy’s faith in his crew inspires them to greater heights. And in Usopp, this is bravery. Absolutely beautiful.
And when the Minions said, “But what can we do? We can’t beat such a powerful man?” (Referring to Caesar) Usopp replied, “Yes, you can. You guys should just believe in our Captain. Caesar is the type of person that Luffy hates the most. Luffy won’t forgive Caesar.”
Usopp knows Luffy pretty well.
That Grizzly Magnum was really something else. I was expecting it to take out Caesar straight awayt but I liked that it didn’t. Caesar is the kind of villain who needs to have his pride thoroughly broken and to taste bitter, bitter defeat. If not, he’ll just tank the hit, pick himself up again and it’s back to his same old tricks.
The best portrayal of that was when Caesar was wrestling with Luffy, the Shinokuni slowly turning his hands to white powder, and he screamed, “Kneel before my power!”
Luffy will never kneel to anyone. Now, I’m not sure what those pulses of power were that drove Caesar back (Conqueror’s Haki?) but Luffy’s hit finally landed and, in a perfect moment of symbolism, Caesar’s self-made crown shattered.
He is no longer the tyrannical ruler of Punk Hazard. Caesar’s reign has come to an end.
And I can’t wait to see what happens next, because Doflamingo sent one of his lackeys to help him out.
The plot chickens.
Tumblr media
Well, you’re gonna kidnap him, so that might be a tough one to get round.

How I feel about this character: god..... I’m love him. like a lot. but honestly I never expected to love him as much as I do, he’s always been my partner’s favorite super hero so I was cool with him all along but then when I took it upon myself to watch the show and start reading the comics I just Understood immediately. he’s just got such depth to him, such conviction — I love his blindness, I love that he’s a lawyer, I love that he’s religious, I love that he micromanages like 10 square blocks of midtown Manhattan and does it like a badass..... top 3 bestest boy of all time.
All the people I ship romantically with this character: peter quill (comics mostly)... I just think their dynamic is so interesting because they’re so similar and yet so vastly different and I wanna explore that more even if marvel will only give me scraps!! I’m on the fence with foggy nelson but I love how cute all the fan content for that ship is. elektra I like you but please keep your toxic ass AWAY from him, the boy needs some peace.
My non-romantic OTP for this character: jessica jones! their interactions were so funny and good in the defenders and I wish we got more of that. also matt/foggy/karen are friend ot3, of course, josie’s crew all the time.
My unpopular opinion about this character: I’m... not sure if I have one. I really like the daredevil costume even though everyone else seems to hate it lmaoooo. matty, please get some therapy. also I hate when the comics and some of the fandom make him out to be this totally macho dude who only exists to be tough as shit, when he’s got a lot of emotional softness and nuance to him too. need more of that.
One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: MCU RESPECT NETFLIX MARVEL CHALLENGE. I wish they could’ve shown up in endgame. I wish we got any mention or acknowledgement of them at all! especially since we see hints of the movies in the shows like they talk about the battle of new york!!!! marvel you’ve got a fantastic character here, let charlie cox work more of his magic I’m begging you.
send me a character and I’ll fill this out!

America’s Most Eligible 2 Diamond Scene: Call Natalie with Mackenzie
You: Anyone who means this much to you is worth meeting. I’m in. Mackenzie’s face lights up at your answer. Mackenzie: Then we’d better get a move on.
You follow Mackenzie to her bedroom to find Omar and Wrenn positioning a camera crew. Mackenzie: I don’t think I’ve ever seen you this happy, Omar. Wrenn: He’s come up with a whole new direction for your arc. Omar: ‘The fierce competitor with a soft spot for her kid sister’ will be emotional gold. Mackenzie: If you’re going to film, then film. I’ll take whatever time with Natalie I can get. Wrenn directs you and Mackenzie to sit crosslegged on the bed in front of a laptop. At Omar’s cue, the sound of a dial tone fills the room. Video Call: … … … Finally, Natalie appears! Mackenzie: Hey, kid. It’s good to see you. Natalie: Hey, Mackenzie! Don’t look now, but you’ve got company. Care to introduce me? Mackenzie: As a matter of fact… I’d like you to meet someone really important. She interlocks her fingers with yours and gives you a shy smile. Mackenzie +2 Mackenzie: This is Jamie. Natalie: Any friend of Mackenzie’s is a friend of mine. It’s nice to meet you. You: It’s nice to meet you too! Mackenzie’s obviously been looking forward to some quality sister talk. Natalie: That’s interesting. Most of her friends don’t even know I exist. Mackenzie rolls her eyes covertly, but Natalie picks up on it. Natalie: I’m just saying, Jamie… Mackenzie can be a bit of a closed book. So if there’s anything you want to know, I’m your girl. You: Well, if you’re offering…
You: What’s the… -Sweetest thing Mackenzie’s ever done?
Natalie: There’s a lot to choose from, but my favourite is the first time she took me to the beach. Natalie: I took my doll into the water to ‘swim,’ and the next thing I knew, the waves were carrying her out to sea. Mackenzie: And you were screaming your head off. Natalie: I spent three months’ allowance on that doll! Natalie: But Mackenzie didn’t even hesitate. She swam out there, against the current, and brought her back to me. Natalie: That was the day my big sister taught me that you move mountains for the people you love. I try to live my life the same way. Mackenzie: Anything for you, sis.
-Most embarrassing thing Mackenzie’s ever done?
Natalie: That’s easy. In middle school, Mackenzie did a rendition of ‘Barbie Girl’ for her solo choir performance. You: Isn’t that song a bit… suggestive? Mackenzie: I didn’t notice the double meanings. I was only in seventh grade! Natalie: She sang Barbie and Ken’s parts… each with their own voice, I might add… Natalie: And worked the auditorium stage like she had sold out Madison Square Garden. Choreography, costume changes, the works. You: Sounds like you really brought the house down, Mackenzie. Mackenzie: I’m just lucky the performance didn’t go viral.
Mackenzie: I think one store about my childhood is more than enough for now. How’s school, Nat? Natalie: Oh! Yeah, no it’s… Natalie: It’s fine. Mackenzie: Well, that wasn’t convincing at all. What’s wrong? Natalie: It’s not that big of a deal. It’s just… these girls. Natalie: They’re so mean, and they won’t leave me alone. I thought summer break would be a good reset… Natalie: But coming back to school has just made it worse.
You: You should… -Kill them with kindness.
You: Words only have the power you give them. You: In just a few years, you’ll be out in the world, and their opinions won’t matter. Why give them the satisfaction of hurting you? Mackenzie: That’s a nice thought, Jamie, but I’m not sure I agree.
-Stuff their lockers with stink bombs.
Natalie’s eyes light up. Natalie: That’s genius! If I get in early, I can pick the locks-- Mackenzie: Whoa, wait a minute. Mackenzie: Ten points for creativity, but how about something a little less… complex?
-Make them jealous!
You: It’s simple, but effective. Everything they do, you’ll do, but better. You: If they’re on a team, you run for captain. If they get all A’s, you throw off the curve. When they’re tired of being outdone, they’ll back off. Mackenzie: That sounds like the perfect amount of petty for high school drama, but why not go even simpler?
Mackenzie: Just stand up to them. They’re messing with you because they think you’re an easy target. Put your foot down, and they’ll leave you alone. Mackenzie: And if they don’t, I’d be more than happy to pay them a visit when the season’s over. Natalie: Thanks for the advice, you two. I’m sure I’ll figure it out. Natalie pauses for just a moment. Natalie: Mackenzie… Do you mind if I talk to Jamie for a second? Mackenzie eyes you both with an amused look. Mackenzie: Keeping secrets from me already? You: More like spilling yours. She laughs and climbs off of the bed. Mackenzie: Well, don’t hold back on my account. Just yell when you’re ready for me. Natalie waits until Mackenzie’s footsteps recede, and you look at each other awkwardly for a moment. Natalie: The two of you seem close. I know I heard it from her, but… Natalie: As much as she looks out for me, I have to look out for her too. Natalie: Mackenzie obviously thinks you’re amazing, but what do you think of her?
You: Mackenzie is… -My best friend in the mansion.
You: AME is a wild ride, but there’s no one else I’d rather experience it with. Our friendship is part of why I came back. Natalie: Good. That mansion is a madhouse, and she needs someone she can trust to have her back, so… Natalie: I’m glad she has a cool friend like you.
-My number one competition.
You: I’ve seen what a fierce game Mackenzie plays. Out of everyone in the mansion this season, she’s the one to beat. Natalie laughs. Natalie: Who are you telling? We were a textbook case of sibling rivalry growing up. Natalie: I’m glad you can see what a badass she is, though. You’d better bring your A-game.
-Really special to me.
You: She’s smart, she’s gorgeous, she’s tough… How could I not admire her? Natalie: I know she’s strong, but she needs someone to take care of her every now and again too. Natalie: Promise me you’ll be good to her. She deserves that. You: I promise.
Mackenzie pokes her head in from the hallway. Mackenzie: I hate to break up this gossip-fest, but we’re getting the cue to wrap it up. Can I say goodbye to Nat? You: Of course. You wave her over, and she joins you on the bed again. Mackenzie: Alright, Nat. Spill. What’d you say? A sudden look of panic crosses Mackenzie’s face. Mackenzie: Did you tell her about that time at the lake house? Because I’m not admitting to a thing. Natalie: That’s between me, Jamie, and the rest of America when this airs. Natalie grins at Mackenzie’s horrified look. Natalie: I’m teasing. You know your secret’s safe with me! Natalie: I just miss you, Mackenzie. It sucks not having you here, but I know you’re gonna kill it. I’m so proud of you. Mackenzie’s face softens immediately. Mackenzie: Right back at you, kid. Natalie: Good luck, Jamie. I’m glad we got to talk, and hopefully, I’ll get to meet you soon. Natalie: …Maybe even sooner than you think. Before either of you can reply, Natalie hangs up. The camera crew starts dismantling the equipment, and Omar helps you both remove your mics. Omar: We got all of that loud and clear. Good work. He turns to Wrenn, who’s gathering the electrical cords. Omar: Let’s get this set up in the editing bay. We need to have this cut and ready to air by end-of-day. Wrenn: On it. Wrenn exits with an armful of equipment, followed by Omar and the crew. Once you’re alone, Mackenzie flops onto the pillows with a relieved sigh. Mackenzie: Thanks for doing this with me, Jamie. I know you have a lot on your plate. You: You move mountains for the people you care about, right? Mackenzie: Yeah. Ever since she moved in with me and Dad, we’ve always looked out for each other. She smiles thoughtfully and looks up to meet your gaze. Mackenzie: I thought the cameras would make it kinda awkward, but with you… everything just felt right. Mackenzie reaches across the bed and gives your hand a grateful squeeze. You smile back at her…
You: … -Kiss Mackenzie. Mackenzie +2
You prop your arms on either side of her and press your lips gently to hers. She slides a hand into your hair, locking you in place. With the tops of your fingers, you trace a feather-light path from her collarbone to her hip. There’s a hitch in Mackenzie’s breath. Mackenzie: And here I was thinking the call was my audience perk. Silly me.
-Hug Mackenzie. Mackenzie +2
You lean over to wrap her in your arms, and Mackenzie hugs you back tightly. It’s a long while before she pulls away. Mackenzie: Okay, that’s enough. If you make me ugly cry and the cameras aren’t around to catch it, Omar will never forgive you.
You laugh as you straighten up. You: See you at the Challenge later, Mackenzie? Mackenzie: No matter what Carson’s got in store for us, I’ll be there.

All Legends Start Small Part 2
Summary: (Pirate’s AU) Louis waits for Violet's answer about joining his crew while she goes to talk to the other street rats.
Part 1:
Part 2:
Louis felt his nervousness rise as the realization hit him that he didn’t know where he was. Not only that, but Violet never said a specific time so who knew when she would show back up. He couldn’t stay that much longer in town before his father realized that something was up. He took a deep breath, letting the nerves leave his body. He would just have to hope that Violet would say yes.
Violet sprinted through the square, weaving her way through different alleyways before coming across the one she was looking for. With a sharp turn she entered it, stopping when she saw the others huddling in the corner that they called home. “Where the hell were you?” Mitch grumbled. “Willy and Tenn were starting to get anxious.” “I was trying to find a mark.” Violet replied with a shaky breath. “Did you?” “Yeah. But I gave his money back.” Violet looked away as she spoke. Mitch stood up. “Why the fuck would you do that?” “Shit. I don’t know. I just felt it was the right thing and-” her sentence was cut off as Mitch stormed over. “The right thing doesn’t mean shit if it doesn’t get us food!” “Louis saved my life!” Violet snapped back. “And even after I gave back his coin pouch, he didn’t hurt me. For some stupid fucking reason he offered me a spot on his crew.” “His crew?” Mitch hissed. “Like pirates?” Willy asked as he walked forward, Tenn slowly following behind. “I don’t know what it means exactly, but I think we should take his offer.” Violet replied with her arms crossed. “How can you say that? He may have saved your life, but that doesn’t mean you should just fucking trust him!” Mitch yelled. “I’m not an idiot, Mitch.” Violet snapped back. “You think I would follow just any guy with a sketchy offer like this?” She took a step back before leaning against the wall. “There’s something different about Louis. The things he does make him seem like a dumbass, but he’s so genuine about it that you can tell he’s not a bad guy. Meet him and you’ll know that I’m right.” Her gaze fell back upon him.
“I don’t know.” Mitch mumbled. “We don’t have much of a choice. We won’t survive on the streets, Mitch! Every year it gets worse and worse. It’s crazy that we’ve even made it this long. If we stay, we’ll fucking starve!” Violet glanced at the two younger street rats. “I think we should meet him.” Tenn whispered. “Me too!” Willy said. “I’ve never seen a pirate before.” “There’s no way he’s a pirate. He looks more like a merchant.” Violet said before turning her attention to Mitch. He let out an annoyed sigh. “Fine. But we’re going to be careful.” Violet nodded. The four sat down, going over the plan in case something went wrong. After a couple hours they went back to the meeting location. Louis sat on a barrel kicking his legs before he noticed the street rats, his eyes widening before he gave a smile. “Violet. I see you brought some friends.” Violet nodded. “I’m Willy!” Willy ran forward, dangling his arm out. “Hey, buddy. The name’s Louis.” He gave a warm smile before shaking his hand. “This here is Tenn.” Willy whacked Tenn’s back playfully as he gave a huge grin. Tenn gave a quiet smile and a small wave before fidgeting with his hands. Louis returned the smile, giving a small wave. “So I take it you’re accepting my offer?” Louis asked as he looked up at Mitch and Violet. “Not so fast!” Mitch replied. “We wanna see your ship first.” “Okay.” The group stood around waiting for Louis to direct them. “I... umm... actually am lost, so do any of you know the way to the docks?” Violet sighed before leading the way. After a couple minutes the group stood before the ship. Willy and Tenn stared in awe as they pointed at different parts of the ship, exclaiming that they’d never seen a ship so big. Violet looked around, noticing that no one was on the deck. “Where’s your crew?” “Well, there’s me and then if you guys join in, that’ll make five.” “So you have no crew.” “Not yet! But just you wait and see. This ship will have the best crew in all the seven seas.” He gestured towards the ship with a dazzling smile. “So, how about it? Wanna join my crew?” Mitch and Violet excused themselves along with Tenn and Willy to discuss the deal. “It seems to be okay.” Violet started before Willy jumped in. “The ship is so cool!” Mitch nodded, giving a small smile towards Willy. “It is pretty badass. Besides, I’m pretty sure if Louis turns out to be scummy we could take him. I think even Tenn could kick his ass.” “So, we’re all in agreement?” Violet asked as she looked to the others. Willy and Mitch nodded, but Tenn hesitated. “What about Sophie and Minnie? If they come back and we’re not here, how will they find us?” Tenn’s voice wavered slightly. “Tenn...” Violet’s voice was gentle, but sad. “It’s been 4 years. I… I don’t think they’re coming back.” Tenn’s eyes filled with tears before he nodded. “Okay. Then let’s go.” With that, the group turned back to Louis. “We’re in.” Violet announced as she stood by her group. Louis gave a huge smile before displaying the ship. “Then welcome aboard!” Louis quickly made his way up the deck and stood by the wheel. The street rats were right behind him, pausing as they stared at all the sails and ropes around them. “Do you even know how to sail this thing?” Mitch questioned as he looked around. “Sure I do.” Louis replied. Violet eyed him, not buying his comment. Before Louis could reply, a loud bark rang across the dock. A pitbull ran forward, scampering onto the deck before tackling Louis and causing him to fall over. The dog proceeded to lick his face before a voice called out. “Rosie! That’s enough!” A blonde boy climbed onto the deck of the ship. He seemed to be around nineteen. He stopped in front of Louis, a look of disapproval on his face. Louis avoided eye contact as he stood up. “Hey, Marlon. I see you read the note.” Louis gave a nervous smile. “No shit. What were you thinking?!?” Marlon stared at him with frustration. “I just thought you’d get in more trouble if you came with me. Your life would be better at home.” “How does that make any sense? It would be way worse with you gone! You realize that I’m basically just your glorified man servant. If you’re gone, what the fuck would I do? Honestly, sometimes you’re the world’s biggest dumbass.” Marlon took a deep breath. “How long have we known each other? More than ten years! So I’m going with you.” Louis paused, looking away before replying. “Alright then.” He turned his attention back towards the others. “It’s time to set sail!” “We don’t know how to do that.” Violet replied, her arms crossed. “Don’t worry, with my instructions we’ll be out on the open seas before you know it! Little did Louis know how hard sailing a ship was as he and his crew struggled to get out of the port. It took some time, all of their efforts and a few swears, but the group eventually did make it out to sea. Louis quickly disappeared through a door before reappearing with something in his hand. He placed down a map, displaying it for all his crew to see. “I hope you’re all ready! Because we’re about to go on the adventure of a lifetime!”

Moxxi's Heist of the Handsome Jackpot Review
[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text] 1 min spoiler-free review Moxxi’s heist of the handsome jackpot is the first story campaign add-on for Borderlands 3. You can enjoy this as a (very long) side quest or as end-game content as the level difficulty scales based on your progress. This DLC brings back fan-favorite characters but also introducing new ones. It’s a fun experience, I enjoyed myself a lot with this DLC. It’s also GBXs troll DLC as they introduce some surprise elements that can totally jump scare you. But it’s also noticeable in the level design, writing, and mission design that they are out to get you. There are various clever and wacky things throughout the DLC that create entertaining experiences. I definitely recommend picking up this DLC.[/vc_column_text][vc_message color=”warning” message_box_style=”solid-icon” style=”square” message_box_color=”warning” icon_fontawesome=”fa fa-exclamation-triangle”]Mild Spoilers Below[/vc_message][vc_column_text] Story Moxxi’s heist of the handsome jackpot has a good story as Gearbox pulls back from events that happened prior to Borderlands 2. Back in the day, Miss Moxxi and Handsome Jack were dating however that relationship didn’t last long. In the meantime, Jack stole Moxxi’s plans for a casino and made it his own. Now Moxxi calls on you to help her to settle the score. This all starts by picking up the handsome Jack poster in front of Moxxi’s bar on Sanctuary 3. Here you get introduced to Jack and his luxurious casino. But once you made your way over there you find out that you are stuck just like the other passengers. By taking over the control of the Handsome Jackpot you can accomplish Moxxi’s request and free yourself. However, the casino is under new-management that requires a plan. Here you can see the ocean’s eleven influence as you are dropped into specific scenarios that push the plot. While the overall play style is as you expect from the game. There is a brief section near the end, as you are about to execute your master plan, which you have been working to set up throughout the DLC, that has a few rapid pace tasks. I didn’t see the twist coming, which I won’t spoil but plans don’t always work out. You probably have seen Timothy Lawrence in the trailer. He’s one of Handsome Jack’s doppelgangers. You meet up with him pretty early in the DLC. As a long-time fan, you expect a lot of Evil Jack from him but the broken mask on his face says it all. He is broken and I kinda felt bad for him. I expected him to be a strong man but Moxxi walked all over him. Throughout the DLC you learn more about the time that Moxxi and Jack were dating. And while Borderlands is dark, I enjoyed the “happy” ending of Timothy. Troll DLC Moxxi’s heist on the Handsome Jackpot was not only designed for our enjoyment but also for Gearbox Software’s pleasure. Through certain mission or level designs, you just know they are trolling you. For example, you can open these VIP rooms. You need to pay money to open the door. I think it’s halfway through the DLC that you can open a ‘More VIP’ room in the VIP room. However, in that VIP room is another door that leads to another VIP room that’s even more luxurious. Every time you do this the rooms keep getting bigger and shinier. Once you think you hit the jackpot there is one more door you can choose to pay for…. and it’s…  the toilet room. Thanks, GBX jokes on me. Another example is needing a registration form to pick up that thing you needed. So you need to go to this desk clerk to help you out, however, he says you need to get that from the other counter. So you go over there and ring the bell to find out that that same clerk is also running that counter. You need to go back and forth between the 2 counters to find out you have the wrong form… YEAH, GBX is trolling you! Then there are also the “surprise” mechanics. Yes, I’m talking loot boxes because before you know it, you get jump scared by a mini loader bot jumping out of the chest. And those are not the only jump scares throughout the DLC. I already told you that the casino is filled with slot machines. Well… there are bots that MIMIC those slot machines. They look fun to play with until you come close and they start attacking you. THANKS, GBX… THANKS! Great design Moxxi’s heist on the Handsome Jackpot takes place on this space casino. The environments look great. It’s everything you would expect from a luxurious casino. Tons of slot machines and neon signs. It’s absolutely beautiful. I think Gearbox did a good job of creating the various environments that each look and feel different from each other. While the overall theme stays the same, you are visiting different parts of the spacestation. This keeps things interesting so you don’t get bored with constant repetition. Another great thing is the sound design. I also enjoyed the background music, it gave me the good vibes. The theme of getting stuck in the system can be felt throughout this DLC. But you aren’t the only one that’s stuck in a system that is designed to scam. Even up to the final boss fight you see this theme take effect. Fun Stuff to Do There are new crew challenges in this Hansome Jackpot DLC which will reward you with legendary loot. You need to destroy Mr. Torgue’s explosive hot sauce because of reasons. These can be a bit hidden but aren’t very difficult to find. Shooting these small bottles is satisfying because they will set off a nuke. Another crew challenge is setting fire to these statues. These sometimes require you to traverse the terrain. For the 3rd crew challenge, you need to take out a bunch of badasses. Throughout the DLC you can find these blackjack chests. They can often be found in VIP rooms. Before you open up these chests a holographic card dealer will show up forcing you to play blackjack. You get 2 cards from the start and need to get 21 points for the best loot drop. Each turn you can choose to hold or to deal a card, however, if you go over 21 the chest will spawn 3 grenades. So choose wisely. Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot adds a bunch of new legendary items. You can farm specific bosses in the DLC in order to get them but they can also world drop from any enemy. I got a few of them from the VIP enemies. Conclusion I had a lot of fun playing Moxxi’s Heist of the Handsome Jackpot. It’s always great to see Gearbox just have fun with their games and create something like this. The story was satisfying and they introduced some new stuff. There weren’t a lot of armored enemies in the main game, so having those loader bots was great. If this DLC sets the requirements for the upcoming DLCs than we are in for a treat.[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][/vc_row]

I've been catching up on the MCU films (well, let's be honest, most of them) in preparation for Spiderman: Homecoming, Black Panther and Avengers: Infinity War, all of which I am excited about after watching numerous tumblr gifs.  (Thanks, tumblr!) I was inspired by a Vox article ranking the films by quality, so I watched them out of order, which was actually quite interesting in a very meta way. I'd seen the original Iron Man, and some of my friends in college had filled me in on the intricate details of the Marvel universe back in the mid-2000s, so I had a pretty basic idea of the situation with HYDRA, SHIELD, Nick Fury, etc, etc, and could just jump right into the middle of the action without needing too much more context.
So here are my off the cuff thoughts:
Captain America: the Winter Soldier:
My favorite movie of all of them (so far, anyway) and the one I watched first - no regrets! Has everything I want in an MCU movie - great action sequence, a decent but not overwhelming number of characters, Steve Rogers, Sam Wilson and Natasha Romanoff starring in their own movie, plus a gripping plot and great action sequences. Nick Fury proves he is a total badass, with Maria Hill not far behind. Also, I'll confess a soft spot because the movie is mostly set in DC, which I am more familiar with than New York. The Smithsonian scenes were ON POINT.
Oh, and I totally ship Romanogers after watching this film. Not sorry at all. I know the writers are actually trying to ship him with Sharon Carter, but I'm really not a fan. I mean, it's just a little creepy that she's Peggy's niece, and even though he didn't know that when they first met and flirted and got to know each other a bit - I still find that a bit too much Replacement Goldfish for me. While it's tragic that Peggy aged and Steve didn't and she doesn't really remember him, eventually Steve is going to have to move on. Sharon is a lot like Peggy, but so is Natasha - at least in terms of badass competence - and I love the working dynamic between Steve and Natasha - they know each other well, they trust each other, they have each other's backs, and I love their casual banter. Also, I'm a sucker for Contrasting Opposite pairings - and the morally ambiguous former Russian sleeper agent Black Widow with the honorable, square Captain America is full of it.
The deep irony is that Black Widow is canonically with Hawkeye and the Winter Soldier in the comics, neither of which is ever even remotely hinted at in these movies. But that's okay because I really don't ship those pairings! Yay, movie continuity... because let's face it, sometimes the comics are really weird.
Major thing I would change: NO MORE MALE GAZE SHOTS OF NATASHA, OKAY?
The Avengers:
Surprisingly, not a huge fan, despite rave reviews from Vox and others. I can't even put my finger on what it is, exactly, but things just feel "off" to me here. Maybe it's the Joss Whedon touch? Because that scene with a shoeless Natasha taking out Russian mobsters while tied to a chair really just screamed Joss Whedon to me. Although I did enjoy the look on Phil Coulson's face when she puts him on "hold".
Also, Phil Coulson was a badass and I'm sorry they killed him off (though apparently Nick Fury brings him back to life in the TV series because Nick Fury doesn't believe in death? It's the sort of thing Nick Fury would do.) Nick Fury and Maria Hill continue to be badasses. Surprisingly, I find Loki somewhat tedious and Thor charming when I really expected it to be the other way around. I enjoy watching Bruce and Tony exchange science banter, but I'm really not into the Hulk. And while Tony Stark continues to be the king of sarcastic wit - to the point where I refer to him as "Tony Snark" - and I'm normally a big fan of that (and I enjoyed the original Iron Man when it originally came out), I'm somehow no longer interested in watching the antics of an egoistic billionaire playboy who makes crazy science weapons and then is surprised when bad people use them, especially compared to Captain America.
I do like the Chitauri giant fish weapons and how organic they are but Thanos and the rest of the Chitauri stuff just feels over the top.
I did love the post-credits scene at the Shawarma joint, though; definitely more than Tony's post-battle shawarma ravings in the film proper.
Captain America: The First Avenger
Probably could have skipped this one, but I enjoyed learning more about Captain America's backstory, even if it wasn't really necessary. Peggy Carter is such a badass, and it really make the events of The Winter Soldier all the more tragic when you watch Steve with Peggy and Bucky, and learn that SHIELD has been infiltrated by HYDRA from the get-go. Also, I thought I was going to hate Howard Stark because his son is frequently a jerk, but he was surprisingly endearing. Red Skull is kinda annoying, and having Captain America stuck in the cryofreeze unit.... wasn't really explained.... but I did love the awakening scene in New York at the end. Nick Fury continues to be a badass.
Avengers: Age of Ultron
Still didn't like this as much as a lot of people seem to (probably the Joss Whedon thing?) - while lots of individual pieces were good, the movie felt weird as a whole thing. Watching Steve and the Avengers take on a European HYDRA base was an interesting callback to the 1940s with Steve and the Howling Commandos - probably the happiest time we see with Steve in the post-SHIELD era, honestly, and right before it all goes to hell. Tony Stark's "yay" as he opened the secret door was fun, although I don't think Wanda (I feel weird calling her "Scarlet Witch") could have snuck up on him and kick-started the plot if he hadn't taken off his suit for no obvious reason.
I hate Tony's decorating skills - all the modern uncomfortable furniture and clear glass - and fancy dress parties full of rich people. Loved the drinking and banter about Mjollnir and Thor's reaction to Captain America being able to move it just a bit. Glad all of Cap's surviving friends from the 1940s showed up, though - warms my heart.
NOT a fan of the plot shipping Natasha and Bruce together. I like them individually, hate them together. But I was really happy to see Hawkeye has a family and a real life outside of the Avengers he never told anyone about - and his family knows about what he does and supports him. Hawkeye gets a lot of crap from people both in and out of the films, but I think he's one of the more stable and balanced characters, and frankly, by my standards, one of the most successful and happiest ones. Go Hawkeye! You've got your priorities straight.
My favorite action moment is Black Widow using Captain America's shield for a minute in the Seoul action scenes before tossing it back to Captain America, hands down. Why doesn't this sort of double-teaming happen more often?
Also, I like how Thor just decides to leave to follow a vision, is bad at fitting in with the human world, and does his own thing in bringing Vision to life, AND at the end going off to figure out the whole Infinity Stone business. I'm still confused by all the Asgardian references, but not sure I really want to watch the Thor movies to figure it out, so I rely mostly on my knowledge of Norse mythology, which actually gets you most of the way there.
I love Hawkeye and Wanda's relationship - it confirms my feeling that Hawkeye is a mature adult. Also, I enjoy the way that Vision just casually swings Thor's hammer... and everyone is suprised and then decides not to wonder about his ultimate allegiance... and a delighted Thor has someone to discuss his hammer with.... and Vision is just a few notes shy of Uncanny Valley territory (and could be downright creepy if he didn't have JARVIS's voice).
Best part of the movie for me is the end scene at the new Avengers headquarters - thankfully they've moved out of New York! - with Steve and Natasha training the new crew of Avengers, because shipping.
Captain America: Civil War:
Liked it much better than both the Avengers movies, probably because Joss Whedon wasn't involved. Despite the Sharon/Steve kiss, there's nothing in here canonically that messes with my preferred Romanogers pairing in the long run. I like how Natasha tries to talk sense into both of them (though she fails, which is really not her fault). Too bad Peggy Carter dies and isn't able to talk sense into Tony and Steve and get the government off their backs because you know she would have if she could have. Also, Black Panther and the Wakandans are awesome, T'Challa does the mature adult thing at the end, and watching Peter Parker geek out with Tony Stark makes me like Tony so much better than I previously have, despite the fact that I think he acts like an idiot even though I agree with most of his basic points in the film.
Great action sequences, throughout the film, especially the Berlin chase sequence and the airport battle. Not so into Iron Man vs. Captain America, honestly. Watching Wanda grow is great; Hawkeye gets some great lines and actions; the ending is bittersweet but hopeful. Apparently, Tony broke up with Pepper, which makes everybody sad except for me, who was kind of "meh" about the pairing anyway. Watching Tony flirt with May was hilarious although I don't ship it - just shows Tony's still got a bit of the playboy in him (or maybe that was just a ruse so he could talk to Peter alone? Either way, funny).
Really sad about War Machine, though... glad he survived. Love Falcon and Redwing, watching the opening scene in "Lagos" (really, it was filmed in Georgia). Also glad the whole "Winter Soldiers" business turned out to be a red herring and the real plot was actually something else. Though it breaks my heart that Howard Stark recognized Bucky and calls him out by name.... only to die at Bucky's hands a moment later. So tragic. I didn't catch the name of the villain, but apparently, his name was Zemo - doesn't really matter, his plan was brilliant. Also not clear: who filmed that footage of Bucky murdering the Starks and why?
I think Vision may have a point about the number of enhanced humans increasing the possibility of catastrophe. Though, to be fair, Loki probably would have conquered the earth unchecked if the Avengers hadn't been there, and that just opened the doors for more weird shit to keep occurring. Though Vision may not know about all of the crazy HYDRA plots that went down PRIOR to Tony Stark becoming Iron Man when he made that comment.... or does he? Hard to know what Vision does and doesn't know.
Mixed feelings on Martin Freeman as Everett Ross - maybe he'll be better in Black Panther, but in this movie, I can't really figure out what his deal is (and didn't catch his name until reading the wiki afterwards). On the other hand, Benedict Cumberbatch is in the MCU universe as Dr. Strange, which means at some point they'll probably have an in-universe meeting, which pleases me on some deep level since I enjoyed their dynamic together in Sherlock.
Also, the Avengers headquarters is actually the Porsche headquarters in Georgia and I cannot take it seriously now that I know this.
Other movies:
-Probably not going to watch the first two Thor movies, might be persuaded to watch Ragnarok depending on fan reactions and the overall quality of tumblr gifs. Since tumblr gifs are what inspired me to watch the mcu films in the first place, it seems only appropriate. Likewise with Ant-Man and the Wasp and Captain Marvel.   - I'm probably not going to watch Ant-Man or The Incredible Hulk either. I'll probably watch the scenes with Black Widow/Natasha in Iron Man 2 and skip the rest of the movie. Likewise, going to skip Iron Man 3 because Tony Stark is only bearable if he has someone to counter him, and I'm pretty sure that's not the case in that movie. -On the fence about Doctor Strange - probably will watch it, but it's not a high priority right now. -Guardians of the Galaxy - these are supposed to be good, and will probably be helpful context for Infinity Wars, BUT Chris Pratt is not my favorite actors and I'm not really interested in the side characters enough for it to be worth it. (I did enjoy Jurassic World, but I was in it way more for the dinosaurs, although his raptor training / racing raptors on motorcycles through a jungle was just crazy enough to be awesome - and also since it was on the DVD cover, I knew exactly what I was signing up for. I HATE how that movie treats Claire, and the inevitable romance between her and Chris Pratt's character... so I'll say I enjoyed Jurassic World in spite of Chris Pratt and not because of him. Don't hate the dude, just not interested in his movies or the style of humor that seems to run through the Guardians movies.) If I find their appearances in Infinity Wars to be good, I'll consider watching them.
Predictions for Infinity Wars:
-Cliffhanger ending to Part One, with all/most of main characters dead/dying as in Tony's vision back in Age of Ultron. -Vision gets the yellow infinity stone ripped out of his head and dies, at least until they can figure out how to bring him back to life -Iron Man's heroic sacrifice, since apparently Robert Downey Jr is getting tired of playing Tony Stark in these movies and is looking for a way out. Someone else will take over the suit eventually, though.
I think Steve Rogers might die, too, but I'm really not happy about this. Gamora, Peter Parker and many of the next Gen Avengers will probably survive, since Marvel will want to make more movies after all this is over. I think Black Panther will be one of them.
I'm secretly hoping that we get a reference at the beginning of Infinity War that Natasha was helping Steve bust into the Rift and get everybody out. Because that's exactly the sort of thing they'd do together. There's so much going on in Infinity War, though, and so many characters, I'd understand if it wasn't included. But it would be a nice nod if they did.

Square Up... *****
Tumblr media
Pairing: Taehyung x Reader. Genre: Angst/Fluff W.C: 1,981
" come, just follow me, I'll escort you out to the van" The bodyguard told us.
We just came from Korean to Las Vegas for the billboard awards that was two days away. And the airport was packed. There was some fangirls on the airplane with us but there was nothing we could do. Plus they were pretty nice and respected our privacy, You even made a conversation with them.
It hasn't been easy since the day you and tae had announced your relationship status. Specially for you. You have been getting a lot of hate, obviously, but you could handle it. You don't let It get to you, your dad has always raised you that way. " don't listen to the people with hatred in the hearts, just smile and walk away, wish them the best" he'd say. " but if they lay a hand on you, you protect yourself and finish what they started" at that you giggled.
You weren't big either, you were a small 5'2 thang. The guys are always asking how Tae doesn't crush you. But something big you had... was your mouth. You always spoke what you thought. But still you were the nicest, sweetest, and sexiest person alive. That's what Taehyung always tells you. Tae intertwined your hands and started walking to the van, all the girls started screaming and came closer and where the hell are most of the bodyguards ?!
We were out by the doors and that's when you saw her, there was this specific girl who was a Taehyung to die fangirl. You always see her tweets and pictures saying how she's going to beat your ass up if she ever sees your or how you're not match for tae. Of course, you ignore her. Babe tells you to ignore her also, and you do. There hasn't been one time where you let other people bring you down. Not until now.
" oh great, look, I didn't know they had a bitch in the band " you heard her say. 'Stupid bitch, just ignore her', you told yourself. You guys kept walking to the van, the girls coming so close that they could almost touch you, & of course, the fucking cyber bully was to your left. She saw how tightly you had your hand wrapped around tae's and huffed in anger. " hi oppa! Remember me ??? It's your number one loyal fan !!" She cried. You rolled your eyes at how ironic that sounded.
Since tae was on your right, she suddenly made a move to grab you saying " move !".
" don't touch me ! " you glared at her, letting taehyung's hand go. Some girls 'ooooh'ed and some laughed saying ' oh shit'. She looked at you shocked, and frozen. You kept walking feeling tae's hand on the small of your back. " you're okay babe ? " he whispered, knowing how you can get. You nodded, keeping your mouth shut, trying to not make a scene.
" we're almost there don't–" you didn't hear the rest as you felt a hand push you, almost making you fall to the ground. Taehyung was about to grab you but you turned around and saw the girl grinning, when she saw your angry expression her eyes widened. You couldn't hear anything else as you grabbed the girl by her hair and punching her square in the face. You didn't care anymore, she had gone to far.
" I told you not to fucking touch me !" You yelled tackling her to the ground and she screeched trying to move away from your punches.
" get off of me your ugly cunt !" She yelled at your.
Other girls screamed, recording while saying ' WORLD STAAARRR!'
You suddenly felt two arms wrapped around your waist pulling you away from the girl, and some security guards came to take her away, " Keep fucking threatening me bitch ! I fucking dare you ! " you yelled at her.
Taehyung pulled you against his chest, his hands holding your wrist and whispered harshly into your ear " y/n that's enough !" Taehyung kept you on your back to his chest, walking faster to the van, almost lifting you off your feet.
You huffed as he let you go to enter the van, sitting all the way to the at the end. All the guys got in filling the van, Jimin looked at your concerned " y/n are you alright ? " The guys looked at you for an answer but out of the corner of your eye you saw taehyung just keep his eyes somewhere else, clenching his jaw. He was mad. " yeah I'm fine " you answered crossing your leg, looking out the window.
You had to right to punch the chick, it wasn't your fault. But deep down you felt a pang of hurt that tae was mad at you. " okay " Jimin mumbled.
You turned your head to the window, looking at the trees and buildings go by. " y/n, manager wants to talk to you as soon as we get to the hotel " namjoon turned back to look at your from the passenger seats, you nodded and felt teahyung sigh murmuring a line of " shouldn't have done that ". You turned to look out the window again, worry seeping on your face as you felt your bottom lip quiver. ' not here ' you told yourself and bit your bottom lip.
" I think it was pretty badass, good job " you heard suga whisper lowly to your ear from the back seat. You smiled a little at that. You get to the hotel and see the manager waiting for all of you at the front. You all get off,you grab your handbag and make your way to him. He looks at you and brings you inside, you look back at taehyung, you make eye contact for a second before he looks away. You sign as you follow their manager to the cushions at the lobby, you look at him and he takes off his glasses.
" are you alright ? " he asks you.
" yes "
" look, I know it wasn't your fault y/n, but you do understand that you can't be pulling out those kinds of actions out here, there's going to be news everywhere and it's not going to be pretty, I just want you and the guys to be careful thats all but this is a warning. Just ignore them and everything will be alright okay ? You didn't only worry me or the crew out there but you worried taehyung too, a lot. " he put his hand on your shoulder, you looked at him and you nodded.
 " I understand " you said.
" okay Kid, now go and get settled in, get some rest, I'll see you tomorrow " he added, you nodded again and went to jimin who waited for his room card.
" is everything alright ? He's not going to make you go back home is he ? " he asked, Jimin has always been the one you talk to about your problems, he's your shoulders at times.
" no, he just gave me a warning and to be careful, you know " you shrugged.
" yeah, but I can't lie, it's good to defend yourself at times, you punched her right on her face y/n !! " he laughed, you laughed a little pushing his shoulder lightly, " stop it ".
" y/n " you heard tae mumble. You looked at him and made your way over to him & he grabbed your bag off your shoulder " I can tak–"
" no, come on" he cut you off. You sighed as you guys made your way over to the elevator, you just wanted to sleep that's all. But you knew you had to talk about the situation with tae. You wanted to know why he was not on your side of the problem. You made your way your your room, opening the door. You made your way to the bedroom and started to take off your shoes. Tae entered the room and put your bags on the bed, maybe we can talk about it now.
" tae..." you started but he cut you off yet again.
Shaking his head he replied that he's going to take a quick shower. He was avoiding you. You felt another pang of hurt in your chest as you heard a knock on the door. You made your way to the door and opened it revealing a guy with your suitcases, you thanked him and gave him a tip before you took your bags to the room and you quickly changed to an oversized shirt, taking off your braw leaving you in socks and panties and the shirt for the night.
You turned off the lights and made your way under the covers not even waiting for taehyung. You faced the wall windows hugging the covers to your body. Maybe it was your fault. Maybe taehyung was tired of your attitude and realized that it would be better if he cut things off. But you didn't want to loose him. Everything was so difficult when he ignored you like this. You didn't know you were crying until you felt tears stream at the side of your face. You just wanted tae with you, why did you always make things go wrong ???
You heard the bathroom door open and you instantly shut up not wanting him to hear your cries. You heard his steps and muffles of him changing to his sleepwear. He probably thought you were already passed out since you didn't move. Meanwhile you felt your throat tightening as you tried to stay quiet and not sob your heart out. You felt the bed dip because of tae and he sighed loudly before everything got quiet.
You mentally cursed as a little whimper escaped your lips. Suddenly, you felt a hand on your waist making its way to be wrapped around your stomach, that's when you couldn't hold it anymore. You sobbed into the pillow, no caring if you were loud.
Taehyung pulled you to his body immediately, kissing your ear and neck repeatedly. " baby.. " he whined, holding you tighter. " Don't cry please.."
You continued sobbing, struggling to catch your breath. Tae moved to look at your face, wiping your tears off your face. " I-I'm sorry, I- " you struggled, " they don't like me tae, I try but they don't like me " you whimpered, your voice broken.
" there's always going to be those kind of people baby, I would do anything to make the world perfect for you but I can't, you scared me out there, I thought I was goi–"
" maybe we should break up " you said without thinking.
" maybe it would be better for your career , you won't have to worry about them and me, mayb–"
" what ?, no no, don't you dare say that again. " his eyes watered at the thought, " I'm not leaving you ever, and you're not leaving me. I love you okay, please don't say that " he said grabbing your face to make you look at him.
You nodded slowly, more tears coming out. " you wouldn't talk to me, you were mad at me and it hurt me " you sobbed.
" baby " he sighed landing his head on your forehead. " I'm sorry I was just– they got me mad okay, I was so pissed that she touched my girl, I should've said something the moment you told her to not touch you. I-I'm sorry "
You nodded and grabbed his face " I love you " he mumbled, you were about to say it back but he put his lips on yours giving you countless kisses, and all over your face. " so much " he whispered kissing you back on your mouth.
You giggled and pulled away " I love you more ".
Taehyung pulled you to lay on top of him and kissed your head.
There was a quiet moment before- " want me to eat you out ? "
You laughed and hit his arm " taeeeee"
He giggled and hugged you tighter.
"...... on second thought " you whispered and look up at him crashing your lips together.
