I sure hope the fourth Matthew Shardlake book is called Vacation and is about how Matthew Shardlake goes on vacation and absolutely nothing bad happens and no one coerces him into anything and no one gets tortured or burned or beheaded. Jack Barak and Tamasin do get wasted on mimosas and try to break into a vending machine though.
