facebook: i know you haven't been here for years but just so you know your best friend from years ago made a post
me: okay... ok you know what yeah let's see how she's doing!
her post: People called us crazy for it but we're growing our family early! Say hello to our new puppy!!

#disclaimer: i'm sure she will be a wonderful mom. she's wanted to be a mom since high school at least and she's a very sweet caring person#but. oh my god. oh my god. we're 22. that's not a weird age to have kids. people are having kids now.#i can barely take care of myself. i've eaten chicken and rice (no veggies) for dinner three nights in a row.#how are you people well adjusted enough to take care of a whole other human being too...#also i didn't recognize the bf so i went on his page to see what he was like/if i'd remember him from school#found a post from him saying mlk jr would be embarrassed of the people protesting george floyd's death#and decided to close the page. welp.#and then a few days later i see ANOTHER old friend is pregnant and engaged... good for them but again oh my god oh my god#spent half an hour scrolling through old friends' and peers' FB pages..... if you ever see me doing it again stop me. beat me with a hammer
