v models, sornieth edition

>dragons, unlike humans, do a lot of things with their mouths (biting people. carrying things. okay that’s about it) so while the v models weren’t designed to be super accurate to any given dragon, this still came through in the design philosophy >v1’s jaw has sharp spikes for slicing through things, mostly used just in case it needs to refuel immediately. did i mention these things run off blood because now i did um look that’s literally ultrakill canon don’t look at me man >anyways magic’s a lot more of a concussive force than, say, a whole bullet so a blast of magic isn’t guaranteed to make anything bleed, so it’s just a failsafe >not incredible for holding things, given the rest of its (and by extension, mirage’s) jaw is smooth, but that’s an afterthought in its case anyway >v2 a) isn’t designed as an actual warbot b) can’t absorb blood directly through its plating so its jaw is designed differently for actual grip >it can actually hold things. woohoo >also more emotive because it’s designed as an enforcer, ergo the average joe is expected to see one of these things running around sometimes. less uncanny when you can see some facsimile of facial expression, i guess >technically v2 is supposed to move its mouth when speaking. less uncanny or whatever. it stopped doing that after it ran off because it can’t be assed to bother >mirage just doesn’t because she doesn’t give a shit >i dunno if v1 can even talk actually
