Nothing Else Like it: Chapter 1
“So, Jojo really got himself in trouble this time, huh, Mom?” a young girl asked.
“Yes, he did,” Holly answered the girl, who had long, jet black hair, a short stature, and a school uniform on. “He’s in jail this time.”
“I thought the day would come soon,” the girl sighed. “I mean, I still feel bad for him, kind of, but at this point, he kind of deserves it.”
“Don’t say that!” Holly scolded. “He’s your brother, and he’s protected you from bullies before!”
“I don’t need his protection,” the girl answered nonchalantly. “I can survive on my own. And it’s his fault for beating up anyone who looks at him the wrong way.”
The two of them stayed silent for the rest of the car ride, until they got to the police station.
“Yes, Jotaro is definitely my son,” Holly told the police officers.
“And who’s this beside you?” one of the officers asked.
“This is Jotaro’s twin sister,” Holly answered, “Yo-”
“Thank you, Mom, but I can speak for myself,” the girl told Holly, bowing to show she meant no ill will with that statement. “My name is Yorokobi. Yorokobi Kujo.”
“Yorokobi, huh?” the officer said as they walked down the dark hallway. “Have you ever seen Jotaro get in fights before?”
“Oh, plenty of times,” Yorokobi chuckled. “I’m surprised it took this long for him to get in jail.”
“And what about you? Have you been in any fights?”
“Only if I’m provoked,” Yorokobi answered. “The police have arrived at some fights I’ve been in before, but all of them have been out of self-defense, so I haven’t been charged with anything.”
“You don’t look like the type to be able to beat someone up,” the other officer said.
“Don’t underestimate me just because I’m a girl,” Yorokobi growled.
“Anyway, your son is right down this corridor, and he’s free to go, since this was also in self-defense,” one of the officers told Holly. As soon as he said that, she dashed down to Jotaro’s cell, calling his name.
“Shut up!” Jotaro yelled. “You’re so annoying!”
“Okay!” Holly chimed.
After her answer, Jotaro laid back down on his bed and closed his eyes.
“Hey! Wake up, Jojo!” Yorokobi yelled. “The police are letting you out of jail. Let’s go home, alright?”
Jotaro looked over at Yorokobi, then looked away again. “Mom, Yorokobi, you’d best go home. I’m not leaving this cell for a while. I’ve been possessed by an evil spirit.”
Yorokobi paused, and took some time to comprehend what Jotaro had just said. When it finally settled in, she burst out in laughter. “That’s the worst joke anyone has ever told me!” she exclaimed. “Come on, just get out of there already.”
“You think I’m joking?” Jotaro asked. “It took all of my power to stop the spirit in that fight. I’m not letting it anywhere near you two.”
Yorokobi’s laughing got a little less hysterical, but she was still in tears. “You’re so awful at making jokes,” she wheezed. “It’s so bad that it’s funny.”
“Fine. If you don’t believe me, I’ll just have to show you.” Jotaro walked up to the cell bars, tossing his hat to the side. Yorokobi’s laughter halted completely.
“O… okay, Jojo, the joke has gone too far now,” she nervously chuckled. “It wasn’t funny, so just let it rest.”
Jotaro continued walking up to the bars, and stuck his hand out. From his hand, another purple, transparent hand extended further. It grabbed the gun from one of the officer’s holsters, and brought it to him.
“Jojo, y-you’re scaring me,” Yorokobi shivered. She grabbed onto Holly’s shirt.
“Good,” Jotaro replied. “Maybe you’ll take this spirit seriously, then.” He cocked the gun, and put it to his head.
“Jojo, stop!”
He fired the gun, but when it was pulled away, he was completely fine. The spirit dropped the bullet to the ground, and returned the gun to the officer.
“Like I said, there’s an evil spirit possessing me,” Jotaro said. “I’m not getting out of this cell until it leaves.”
Yorokobi looked to her mom, who was just as lost about what to do as her. They both slowly walked out of the cell room.
“What are we going to do?” Yorokobi asked her mother.
“I’m going to call your granddad for help,” Holly answered.
The next morning, Yorokobi and Holly went to the airport.
“Papa!” Holly called. She ran over to a burly man, with a thick, white beard and a brown coat.
“Holly!” he yelled. Both of them ran over to each other, and Yorokobi followed.
“Granddad!” she exclaimed. Both of them enveloped each other in a big hug.
“Hey there, Yorokobi!” Joseph laughed. “I missed you!”
“I missed you, too,” Yorokobi replied as she buried her face in his shoulder.
After their cheerful greetings, Joseph calmed down and lowered his voice. “So, you said Jotaro has been possessed by a ghost? And you could see the ghost?”
At those words, Holly broke down in tears again. “Oh, my poor, poor Jotaro. Yes. The officers said they couldn’t see it, but I clearly saw a separate hand.”
“And what about you, Yorokobi?”
“Yes, I saw it, too,” Yorokobi answered. “When he shot a gun towards his head, the spirit caught the bullet before it could hurt him.”
“But nothing has happened to either of you?”
Both girls shook their heads.
Joseph sighed. “Thank goodness. Well, don’t you worry about Jotaro. I’ll get him out of jail in no time.”
Holly insisted that Yorokobi stay home while she and Joseph went to try coaxing Jotaro out of his cell, much to her dismay. Instead, she was given the mundane task of watching over the house. Something about Jotaro’s spirit being “too dangerous” and she “might get in the crossfire between it and Avdol’s spirit.” A bunch of baloney that basically meant they were afraid she was faint of heart and would hate to see her dearest brother get beaten half to death.
No matter. She would just have to do some chores around the house. After all, there was a guest, and her mother would be very unhappy if the house was in its current state when he arrived to spend the night.
“I should make some food tonight, too,” Yorokobi said to herself. “I think some soup would be good.”
Before she knew it, everyone had arrived back home, including Jotaro, who was literally burned in some places.
“Did someone actually put up a fight against you, Jojo?” Yorokobi taunted. “Is your perfect win streak ruined now?” Jotaro and her had their fair share of sibling fights, but even she couldn’t beat him. It was nice to see him actually harmed for once.
“No, it was a draw,” Avdol answered. “I didn’t want to kill him, I just wanted to get him out of that cell.”
“And what about that ‘evil spirit’?” Yorokobi asked.
“It’s still there,” Jotaro shrugged. “Although it’s not an evil spirit, just a ‘Stand’ or whatever the old man called it.”
“Oh,” Yorokobi said. “Well, I made everyone some dinner while I was cooped up in the house instead of watching Jojo and Mr. Avdol fight,” she added, almost snarkily. “Eat up!”
Everyone grabbed a bowl, and started eating in silence.
“So, I’ve decided to tell you all right now, so Yorokobi will hear it, too,” Joseph said. “You see, there’s a reason why Jotaro’s Stand has appeared so suddenly. It has to do with some events that happened 100 years ago.”
He then proceeded to tell Holly, Jotaro, and Yorokobi all about his grandfather, Jonathan Joestar, his adopted brother, Dio Brando, the stone mask, the star birthmark, and Jonathan and Dio’s fight that would continue down for generations of Joestars to come.
“And now, Dio has taken over Jonathan’s body, using it as his own!” Joseph exclaimed. “And he won’t stop tormenting us until he’s defeated every last Joestar!”
Yorokobi nodded. “And how do we stop him?”
“Are you serious?” Jotaro asked. “I’m not going on a long trip just to find this guy, and you’re not either. We’ll let him come to us, if he’s that persistent on killing us.” He took another bite of soup, using his Stand to bring the spoon up to his mouth.
“Good idea,” Yorokobi replied.
After her input, the table went back to the sounds of chewing.
“You like it, don’t you?” Yorokobi asked Jotaro.
“I never said that.”
“But you haven’t criticized it at all, either,” she smirked. “The more you like what I make, the less you criticize every little detail. When you’re completely silent, it means you love it.”
“Sorry, I didn’t realize you had a degree in not minding your own business,” Jotaro retorted. “Let me eat my food in peace.”
Yorokobi hmphed, but did nothing more.
“Not you too, Yorokobi!” Joseph whined. “You and your mother need to have more of a spine and stand up to Jotaro!”
“Oh, I’m not finished standing up to him,” Yorokobi shrugged. “I just have different ways of fighting back. I knew he was going to say something like that to me tonight, so I snuck a little surprise into his bowl.”
“Something spicy?” Joseph asked.
“Something electrifying,” Yorokobi grinned.
Suddenly, the soup in Jotaro’s bowl started to make a huge bubble right in the middle. Around it was an electric yellow glow. When the bubble completely fit in the bowl, it popped, spewing soup all over Jotaro’s face. Yorokobi doubled over in laughter.
“Serves you right!” she cackled.
Joseph stood back in awe. “Yorokobi… how did you do that?” He had a feeling he knew what it was, but he wanted to make sure.
“I don’t know, really,” she answered through small giggles. “I’ve just had this power since I was little.” Yorokobi sent a little spark through her arm. “Mom said you had it, too.”
Joseph started giving a hearty laugh, and hugged Yorokobi tightly. “My granddaughter is a Hamon user!” he exclaimed. “I thought I was the last one.”
“Yeah, and she’s used it to inconvenience me for the majority of her life,” Jotaro mumbled.
“Oh, don’t act like you didn’t punch me for it!” Yorokobi snapped.
“I’ll punch you right now for splattering me with soup!”
“Jotaro! Yorokobi!” Holly exclaimed. “Settle down!”
“Yes, Mom,” Yorokobi muttered. Her shoulders slumped. Jotaro huffed and snapped his head away from Yorokobi, but did nothing more. Both went to their rooms and closed the door.
“They’re actually really sweet most of the time, I promise,” Holly told Joseph and Avdol. “They love each other very much. It’s just… you know how siblings are.”
Both men nodded. “Well,” Joseph shrugged, “they have a point about not pursuing Dio. After all, if he wants us dead that much, he’d either give us a reason to hunt him down or come hunt us down.”
“I think we should stay here, just in case Dio has any plans to do either of those,” Avdol advised.
“I was thinking the same thing,” Joseph smiled. “Well, Holly, if you need anything, we’ll be in the guest room, wherever it is.”
Then, after a couple of hours, the house was dark, and everything was quiet.
Except for Yorokobi tossing and turning in her bed.
“Out of all nights, it had to be tonight,” she whispered to herself. “I have a test in the morning, too.”
“Hey.”
Yorokobi jumped. “Jojo? What are you doing in my room?”
“With my new Stand, it’s easy for me to hear when your insomnia is really bad,” he murmured. “You know you have medicine for that.”
“I’m on the medicine,” Yorokobi grumbled. “It’s not working. Again.”
Jotaro sighed. “Well, I guess I’ll just have to stay with you until you fall asleep.”
Yorokobi gave him a knowing smile.
“If anyone figures out about this, I’ll kill you.”
“I got it, I got it,” Yorokobi chuckled. “Wouldn’t want anyone figuring out that Jotaro Kujo actually has a soft spot, or anything.” She paused for a moment, then continued talking. “So, what are you going to do about…” she waved her hands in his general direction, “that guy?”
“Ignore him, probably,” Jotaro shrugged. “It seems like he’s only good for fighting, and last time he helped me, I went to jail, so I should probably not use him.”
“You should give him a name.”
“What a dumb, childish idea. No.”
“I’m not referring to him as ‘that guy’, or ‘my brother’s Stand’. If you don’t give him a name, I will.”
“If I give it a name, I’ll grow attached. I don’t want this thing.”
“Then I’ll grow attached for you. Hi there, Toto!”
“Toto? Like the band? That’s the stupidest name I’ve ever heard.”
“Okay, what name ideas do you have?”
Jotaro remained silent for a while, then grumbled, “I’m not naming him anything.”
“Then Toto it is.”
“I’m going to bed.”
“Wait!”
Jotaro stopped walking away.
“Please.”
“No.” He continued going back to his room. “Plus, you’re actually starting to look tired. I don’t want to keep you up even longer.”
Jotaro was right. . Yorokobi was finally settling down. Her eyes were getting droopy, and she couldn’t focus on talking as much as when she was awake.
“Goodnight, Yorokobi.”
“Night, Jojo.”

First unmasking post, from an rp with @kazekothestrange not the whole rp, just from a drama filled portion of it. Not posting the whole rp because its way too long lol. Happens not too long after the flesh bud is pulled out of Kakyoin, Avdol left for the Kujo library so he wasn’t present when all this went down.
Shanna and Jotaro have been friends for about three months now and have dealt with about three stand user attempts on their lives (not counting Kakyoin), and not yet knowing why. They’ve both saved eachother’s lives at this point. Shanna didn’t understand why Jotaro wouldn’t leave his jail cell, and he refused to come out even when she begged him to, yet when she wasn’t there, he left for Kazeko, Avdol, and Joseph. Not knowing what went down, she can’t help but feel angry and proceeds to take it out on everyone around her. The punk felt like she finally found someone who cared about her, and understood her. But she feels like the delinquent may be toying around with her feelings now.
Jealously...is an ugly emotion.
Contains Rose and Shanna when their relationship was destroyed due to fighting for years over who would get to be the next head of their family. Also contains small references to how Shanna was the year prior to meeting Jotaro.
--------------------------------------------------------
Rose: *wetting a washrag in the kitchen, she plans to clean up the blood from Kakyoin's wound due to the flesh bud removal. She'll leave the rest to Holly* ...I can feel you glaring at me you know.
Shanna: I'm not glaring. This is just my face.
Rose: I don't recall your eyebrows always being so furrowed. In fact, you've been like this all day. Is it because of Kakyoin-san? Do you still not trust him, even after what we just learned?
Shanna: *she exhales* That's not it, just forget about it. ...He just had something pulled from his brain. You think hes going to be ok? What about any possible brain damage?
Rose: Well, I'm no nurse but...well, you know how Star Platinum works better than me, so you should already know the answer, yes? *wringing out the rag, she passes by her sister to head back to the room the others are in*
Shanna: ....Tch! If I really did I wouldn't be asking, asshole... *she follows after her sister*
Kakyoin: *sighing, he lowers his head into his hands, fingers tangling in his bloody hair* I'm so ashamed... how could I have let this happen to me?
Joseph: It's fine, son. *he reaches over and pats the redhead's back* You couldn't have known what was going to happen.
Kazeko: *she reenters the room with Holly, carrying the tea* We're back. *she smiles gently, setting the tray down*
Rose: *she comes in around the same time* We are too. Though Shanna didn't actually do anything.
Shanna: You're annoying. If you have something to say, say it.
Holly: Ah... girls, let's not fight, alright? We're all a little worked up after what just happened.
Shanna: ....*she sighs, not wanting to make herself look bad in front of Holly* Yeah... sorry.
Holly: *she closes her eyes in a smile, showing her appreciation*
Rose: *she kneels down in front of the redhead, tapping his shoulder* Lift your head up. You're going to get blood everywhere.
Shanna: /Dammit Rose, at least ask if hes ok first!/
Kakyoin: Ah- ... *he raises his head, his hands bloodied* R-right... I'm sorry.
Joseph: Kaz, when she's done-
Kazeko: Y-Yes, of course. *but for now, she distances herself, letting the younger brunette work*
Jotaro: ... *he quietly watches all this from the side, looking over to Shanna after a moment and holding out his hand*
Rose: Now look, you got your hands messy now too. *she cleans up his hands first before moving to his forehead, gently cleaning the wound with practiced motions* Let's take care of this quickly. It'd be a shame to keep such a face so bloody.
Holly: Oh my! Are you flirting already Rose?
Rose: *her eyebrow twitches as if in annoyance and she closes her eyes* I am not. I am merely stating facts.
Shanna: *she definitely notices his offer, but she refuses him and instead leans her back against the lining of the screen door, folding her arms across her chest and watching the others*
Kakyoin: *his heart does a tiny flutter, which he does his best to dismiss as his cheeks flush a pale red* Th... thank you.
Joseph: *he can't help but snicker a little at this. cute.*
Jotaro: *the delinquent keeps his eye on her for a minute, then slowly lowers his hand. any other time, he'd just go over to her, but she doesn't look in any mood for that*
Kazeko: *she can definitely feel the tension in the room generated by the two sisters, and subtly gravitates towards her old friend*
Shanna: *her gaze falls on the shorter woman when she starts moving to Joseph, and her eyes sharpen, as if shes angry at her for something. But what???*
Kazeko: *her eyes widen, eyebrows upturning as she shrinks back further in silence, averting her eyes. but maybe that's what made her glare in the first place...? so she tentatively steps forward again, rooted in place*
Joseph: *he raises an eyebrow, and gives the young punk a sharp look of his own* Something wrong?
Jotaro: Oi, JiJi-
Kakyoin: ... *he lowers his head a bit again. he can't help but feel like this was his fault*
Shanna: Don't act all tough old man, I've won street fights against guys your size. *she huffs at her bangs* Besides, I wasn't even doing anything. /But damn do you and this chick piss me off. Jotaro didn't leave the jail for me. He left for you, her, and that other guy. What the fuck do YOU guys have that I don't!? Why did he choose YOU old fucks!?/
Holly: *shes sensing the tension returning* U-Um, Rose-chan! Are you about done?
Rose: Yes, if he'll quit moving.
Kakyoin: Gomen nasai... *he murmurs softly, trying not to even be heard*
Joseph: Then why are you glaring at us? ... you wouldn't be thinking 'you piss me off', would you?
Jotaro: *his eyes move back and forth between his grandfather and his best friend... why is she so angry?*
Shanna: *she moves from her position, placing a hand on her hip and raising her head up, a shadow casting over her eyes* And so what if I am? You want to fight? I'll take you both on!
Holly: A-Ahh, papa, Shanna-chan, please let's-
Joseph: You think I can't hold my own-!!
Rose: STOP FIGHTING!!!
Shanna: -!! *shes snapped out of it as soon as Joseph is, Rose hardly ever, if almost never, yells like this*
Kazeko: *she folds her hands and looks over at Rose, shocked. She's been so quiet and composed the whole time they've been here, until now*
Jotaro: ... /Shit.../
Rose: *she stands up, casting a glare at Joseph to drop it, then turning to face her sister* Would you just stop it already!? You've been picking a fight with everyone today! You want to be treated like an adult? Then stop acting so immature! You're acting just like you did when Le-
Shanna: DON'T FUCKING SAY HIS NAME!!
Rose: *she freezes up, she was pissed, yes, but she shouldn't of even brought HIM up in the first place* I...I'm sorry, I know I shouldn't of referenced him...but my point still stands. You've been doing nothing but show everyone attitude! You're picking a fight with his grandfather for crying out loud!
Shanna: *Her pupils dilate and she raises her hand up, bringing it down, intending to slap her sister as hard as she can, but she stops herself at the last second*
Rose: *she flinches, even covering her face in defense*
Shanna: ....I hate you so damn much. *she lowers her hand* You're always like this. You never talk to me. You never try to understand what's wrong. All you ever do is scold me but let everyone else off. You always have to make yourself look so damn good for everyone, yeah? You want that position in the family so bad??
Rose: Sha-
Shanna: You always were everyone's little princess. *she scoffs and with that, she leaves the room, leaving her sister standing there in silence*
Kazeko: *as soon as Shanna leaves the room, she releases her held breath and immediately starts hyperventilating, pressing her hand to her chest in an effort to calm herself down*
Joseph: H-Hey, hey hey! Shhhh, breathe!
Kakyoin: ... *once more he lowers his head. maybe it would have been better if he'd been... no, he shouldn't think like that-*
Jotaro: *without another word, he leaves the room too. he can't leave her like that*
Holly: *she glances between her father and Kazeko, and her son and Shanna. Honestly, she's torn on who she should be helping right now. Mentally apologizing to the other group, she hurries over to the short brunette to help her calm down from her panic attack*
Rose: ...*closing her eyes, she lets out a slow exhale. Just when she thought they were finally....finally getting along again...*
Joseph: *he smiles slightly at Holly* Thank you pumpkin.
Holly: Papa...I'm sorry, I don't know what got into her, she's normally such a sweet girl... *she gently rubs the short woman's back, moving strands of hair out of her face* H-Hey. I know that was scary...breath slowly ok? In...out....in...out...
Joseph: I trust you... so don't apologize for her, Holly. She can do it herself when she comes back. *he pulls his friend into a tight side hug* It's ok. Just focus on us, alright?
Kazeko: *between gasps, she nods* Thank- you- I'm- sorry- *gasp* *shaking her head, she does her best to ground herself*
Holly: It's ok, it's ok...do you want me to get you some water or anything?
Kazeko: *she nods her head, her breathing starting to slow down a little* Thank you- It's- ok- ... haa- I'll be- alright... *her eyebrows furrow and turn upward. again, she made the people she cares about worry about her*
Joseph: *he smiles a bit, rubbing her arm. good, she's calming down*
Holly: *she gives her a small side hug before leaving to fetch some water for her anyway*
Joseph: ... *after a couple more moments, he gives her another squeeze* Are you gonna be alright? Do you need anything?
Kazeko: *breathing raggedly now, but slowly, she lifts her head to reply* No... it happens... I don't need it right now...
Kakyoin: ... Gomen... gomen... *he murmurs to Rose, pulling his knees to his chest and burying his face*
Rose: ....*she turns around, and kneels down next to Kakyoin* ....Are you blaming yourself? Don't. It can't be helped. Shes held contempt for me for so many years now, I should of expected she'd explode sooner or later...
Kakyoin: Of course I am... it's... I'm the one who attacked...
Rose: ...You know, you say that but, she didn't blame you. When we, or more like I, was getting that washrag, she was concerned about you. She worried if you were going to be ok, since that...thing was literally pulled out of your brain.
Kakyoin: ... she did...? *he lifts his head ever so slightly, his hair splayed messily across his knee*
Rose: She was also worried about the possibility of you getting brain damage from that extraction. When I didn't really answer her, she got mad. *she looks amused for a moment* That fight that happened is...between her and I. It had nothing to do with you. She doesn't hate you, quite the opposite.
Kakyoin: *his expression lightens, then falls again* ... even so... I... I'm sorry... if things are rough between the two of you...
Rose: *she shakes her head* It's been this way for years, it can't be helped. I thought we were finally getting along again, but...
----------------------------------------------------
Who is this him that Rose mentioned, that caused a bad trigger in Shanna? You’ll find out in future unmasking posts.
Shanna and Jotaro had a bad argument with eachother after this, and shortly after, I want to reassure you guys that Shanna does return and apologize to everyone because hey, she realized she was kind of being a bitch. Knowing Jotaro is probably sulking in his own way after such a bad argument with eachother, she looks for him in the Kujo estate and properly apologizes to him too, and they both have an actual talk this time to clear up the horrible misunderstandings that were going on. Shanna later also apologizes to Rose for saying such a horrible thing to her. Their relationship is still rocky when the Stardust Crusader journey happens, they never get back to getting along after years of fighting eachother until post SDC I’m afraid.
To hopefully clear anything up, this is the only horrible fight the Metal Queen, as I noticed you guys like to call her, has with the SDC. She gets along with them all fine throughout the journey, and post SDC, she even starts calling Joseph ‘Jiji’, like Jotaro does!

hi hi can i have some (secretly) needy Jotaro who misses his s/o while he's on a trip? What does he miss about her/thinking about gift ideas/etc etc. And their reunion if possible!! (she/her pronouns) thank u v much uwu have a nice day c:
Anon, thank you, this is the exact ask I need right now. Not gonna lie, I’m feeling pretty fucking down right now, not doing well mentally, so any chance to write/read anything with Jotaro (my f/o) is welcome. Today has not been a good day, at all, here’s hoping this makes it better.
Anyway, side note, the reference to the ring is here.
Without further ado: Missing you: Jotaro x Reader (2k words)
Jotaro had had enough. He even didn’t realize how much he missed you until he found himself in his American office, meanwhile, you were a fifteen-hour flight away in Japan. The scientist grumbled, unable to focus on his work. Putting it aside, he instead turned and stared out the window, looking out at the beautiful Florida coast. He understood why the Speedwagon Foundation needed him there in Florida, to inspect the whereabouts of any stand arrows or followers of Dio, as well as to continue his research. But he also understood why they needed him in Italy... and then in Britain... and then in Egypt... and then finally in Florida, each trip one right after the other.
Jotaro began tapping his fingertips along the wood of his desk, a nervous, angry tick he’d developed in his travels. Including all these damn business trips together, he’d been gone from you for a collective 2 months now. Sure, you two have called each other, but no amount of hours over the phone could equate to coming home to you, and resting close to you in shared bed as you melted away his anxieties about his coworkers expecting so much from him, and how he feels he might not be good enough for his job. But you knew better than to let him feel that way, and you always managed to make him feel loved and cared for.
But you weren’t here. And Jotaro missed you more than he’d openly admit. The tapping on his desk continued the more upset he got.
He had two days left in Florida before he’d be able to go home, and he could not wait. He wondered what he’d do with you when he finally got home. He wanted to do something special with you since it’s been so long. There was a fancy new restaurant that had opened up near you two in the city, but you’d both been too busy, and he had been dying to take you there. It was a very black tie place though... The thought of you in a beautiful dress, looking as beautiful dress, looking as beautiful as ever, had the young man grinning shyly to himself. Inwardly, Star Platinum was doing backflips at the idea. A chance after so long to spend time with you, to have a relaxing evening with you, and not his stuffy, older coworkers who didn’t understand his hard travel and homesickness. Jotaro tipped his white hat over his darkened eyes. A nice dinner together, a walk in the park afterward, a kiss under one of the street lamps. Jotaro smiled wider and Star Platinum immerged from his form. The two of them shared a knowing look.
“Ora...”
“Yeah yeah... I know. I love kissing (y/n) too...”
Jotaro slapped his stand on the arm after such a lovesick comment. But oh man... a kiss from you right then would have been heaven on Earth. Jotaro hadn’t even liked anything romantic until he met you. Then when you first kissed, he finally understood why everyone else in the world loves it so much. Jotaro knew he wasn’t the most romantic of boyfriends, but you were the only one on Earth that could bring out his soft side like this. He wanted to do so many things with you, all of them impeded by the distance between you two. Kiss you, go on a date, laugh together, cuddle, and even go one step further-
“Dr. Kujo? Your meeting with the senior donors is in five minutes.”
Jotaro stopped his tapping on his desk, having realized that he should have been preparing for this meeting instead of being distracted by thoughts of you. Jotaro thanked his assistant and stood up from his desk, his mind still racing the more he missed you.
He should get you something.
You’ve been so patient with him and his constant travel, but now that his most recent study was coming to a close, plus he’d managed to track down another arrow, Jotaro figured he should reward you for your patience. Walking the hallways of the SPW compound, the young scientist pondered what gift to get you. Star Platinum floated beside him, easily phasing though the none stand user employees. The stand and user discussed possibilities together, the other staff playing Jotaro no ming. They knew he was talking to his stand, even if they couldn’t see it.
Star Platinum thought on potential gifts for you while Jotaro walked across the company campus to his meeting.
“Ora?”
Jotaro thought about it. “No... too flashy. (y/n)’s more relaxed, you know that.”
“Ora...Ora?”
“How am I supposed to fit that on the plane?!”
“Ora ora!”
“No...not doing that...”
“Ora... Ora! ORA ORA ORA!”
“Oh yeah? What’s your brilliant idea star?”
“...Ora.”
Jotaro stopped in his tracks, turning to his stand, who was now giving him a big, giddy smile.
“A ring? You think so?”
Star nodded. “Ora.” Jotaro blushed more while walking to the meeting.
“An engagement ring?! Really?!”
“Ora ora!” The stand said gleefully, nodding until his head hurt,
“Wow... the thought never occurred to me to ask (y/n) to marry me...” Star rolled his eyes and punched Jotaro on the arm. Jotaro huffed.
“Alright alright, good grief. If you’re thinking it, that must mean I’m thinking it too. You’re me. I get it.” The moment the thought of proposing to you came to his head, Jotaro simply couldn’t get it out.
“I mean... I have all day tomorrow to get a ring. And I already know what size she is...”
Well... that was it. That was what he was going to do. Jotaro Kujo was going to propose to you. The young man walked into the meeting with new confidence in his step, despite his face being bright red with smitten embarrassment. Star Platinum was even more excited, barely able to contain himself. Jotaro kept waving for him to go away until he was interrupted by a senior professor at the meeting.
“Umm... Dr. Kujo? Could you please introduce yourself to the group now that you’ve entered the room?”
Jotaro looked around, now unbelievably anxious as he rushed to sit down. “Yeah.. of course. Hello everyone.” The meeting continued, Jotaro’s fingers tapping on the table as he thought what kind of ring to get.
- - -
The day finally arrived that Jotaro would return from two months of travel, and you were so excited you could hardly contain yourself. At that point in your two’s separation, your patience was wearing very thin, and you were ready for Jotaro to get here so you could jump him and make up for the lost time.
You did everything to make sure he was coming back to a peaceful home. You’d already finished your work at your own lab, so you found the time to clean the house, hang up a “welcome home” sign, and even call up Mrs. Holly for a recipe on what Jotaro would like best to eat for dinner when he arrives. Everything was set. You were anxiously waiting in the living room near the front door and Jotaro was anxiously waiting in the cab to get home to you. The ring box was hidden under his mountain of papers and files, and he was itching to finally pop the question, even if he was a little nervous about it all.
Finally, he arrived at the front door, standing on the porch and calming himself down enough to open it. He went looking for his keys in his briefcase, unable to find them after so long of not needing them. However, this problem didn’t really present an issue when you swung the door open in front of him. Jotaro looked up part his hat to see you standing there. He gulped. You looked beautiful.
“...Hi dear, long time no see-”
“Jotaro!”
Even Jotaro was surprised when you managed to tackle him in a tight hug, the two of you landing on the front lawn, the fall broken by the soft grass. You stared into his shocked face before leaning in to give your love a deep, fulfilling kiss after two lonely months. Jotaro let out a heavy sigh, melting into your touch as you rested on top of him, both of you oblivious to your neighbors seeing everything. When you two finally broke your contact and stood up, Jotaro turned to you with a small grin.
“How’d you know I was outside? I wasn’t making any noise so I could surprise you.”
You chuckled a bit. “Well... I could see Star jumping up and down through the window.”
Both of you turned to see your stands happily reuniting with one another with kisses of their own as well. Jotaro groaned in embarrassment before you reminded him that you two were the only ones that could see the stands, and you all went inside. You could barely contain your excitement, Jotaro could barely contain his nerves. You turned to him, bouncing off the walls with a smile on your face, and rushing around between the kitchen and the living room, taking his suitcase from him.
“Come in, come in you big lug. Give me your suitcase, we’ll wash everything tomorrow. I made dinner for us, your favorite too. A-and there’s a Columbo marathon waiting for us and then I also wanna just relax with you and um... well, you know. Umm... and I’m sorry that I don’t look better than I do. I was wearing the outfit that I wanted to wear while I was cooking but it got dirty so it’s in the laundry so-”
“(y/n).”
You stopped your rambling and moving about and turned to your boyfriend as he remained standing in the front entrance of the house. Jotaro calmly took his white hat and jacket off, hanging them up on the coat rack, before turning to you with a shy smile, small tears in his eyes.
“... I’ve really missed you.”
You felt your heart soar in your chest as you approached Jotaro once more, your own vision now clouded with tears as well. You wrapped your arms around him, resting your head in his chest and sniffling a bit.
“I’ve really missed you too...” Jotaro smiled and looked down at the top of your head, giving you a soft kiss, and taking in your scent and warmth, both of which he’d missed more than anything.
“I love you so much (y/n)...”
“I love you too...” After several minutes of you two standing there, Jotaro finally spoke up.
“Alright... come on. We’re going out for dinner.”
You turned to him confused. “But what about all the stuff I cooked?!”
“We’ll eat it tomorrow.”
“But what about Columbo?”
“Columbo’s not going anywhere.”
“But-”
“(y/n). You’ve been so great and patient with me these past two months, just let me spoil you.”
You pouted before sighing and reaching up on your toes, you give Jotaro a quick peck on the lips.
“Alright, I’ll get ready. Is this place fancy?”
“Yeah... wear the purple dress?”
You smile. “Sure dear.”
Jotaro smiled, watching you head back to the bedroom to change. After not long of waiting, he looked up at the sound of your heels clicking on the floor. You finished fidgeting with your gold stud earring before turning to him.
“How do I look?”
Jotaro stood up from his seat, in awe, a big grin on forming on his face.
“If we didn’t have reservations, I’d jump you and carry you upstairs right now.”
You smirked at him. “We could cancel...” You said flirtingly.
Jotaro shook his head. “Nope, no chance.”
You smacked his chest playfully with a pout and turned towards the exit to get your coat. Seeing that your back was to him and he was out of sight, Star Platinum quickly handed Jotaro the ring box having gotten it from the biologist’s briefcase. Jotaro opened it and smiled at the star-shaped diamond at the center of the rose gold band. Once you turned around though, Jotaro quickly hid it away.
“Ready to go?” You asked, holding out your hand. Jotaro took it in his.
“Yeah... let’s go.”

I Missed You
This was a little hard to write. I just couldn’t think of a solid idea for it. But, It was a request by @beautifulwritting. I hope you like it!! I’m sorry it’s short and I took so long to write it. My messages are open for request if you want another one!
SFW
My whole life, I've had this stand. Stands are what we users use to defend and fight. But, being a Zeppeli, means I've heard about Hamon my whole life as well. Hamon is an old way of fighting. Unfortunately, with the use of stands, it has died out. My uncle, Caesar, gave his life for Mr. Joestar. I have made it my personal goal to bring back Hamon for my uncle.
I sit with the Crusaders around a small fire we've managed to make in this desert. I look around this group and realize that the Zeppeli blood runs strong in me. I would sacrifice myself for each and every one of them. They all mean so much to me. Especially Jotaro. I've never felt this way about anyone. I never would have met him if it wasn't for his grandfather recommending me for the team to fight Dio.
Catching me off guard, Polnareff asked what everyone plans on doing after we defeat Dio. Avdol wants to go back home and live a peaceful life knowing he has helped save Ms. Holly's life. Mr. Joestar also plans on heading home to his wife, Suzy, and visit Jotaro more. I blank out thinking about my life after Dio that I didn't noticed everyone was waiting for my answer.
"Well, Y/N, what are you going to do?" Polnareff asked.
"I'm going to head back to Italy and study Hamon. I want to bring it back has a major fighting style, for my Uncle Caesar." My answer seemed to have warmed Mr. Joestar's heart. Jotaro grunted his catch phrase and walked into our tent. I look around the group and we all seem confused by his actions. Eventually we put the fire out and we all head to bed. I assumed Jotaro would be fast asleep by now. But, he's sitting up, lighting up the tent with his lighter to look at a photo.
"JoJo..What's up?"
"Nothing." I roll my eyes. I know damn well something is wrong. But, I don't push it. He'll come around when he decides to. I laid down and drifted off to sleep. Hours later, I hear the tent unzip. I turn over and see that Jotaro had left. I get up and follow him. He's standing by the car, smoking. I go up to him and wrap my arms around his waist. We stay like this until his finishes his cigarette. Jotaro looks down at me. It hard to see, but his eyes are glistening.
"Jotaro.." He sighs. Finally giving in to his emotions.
"Look, I know we've only been on this trip and together for a couple weeks but..ugh I hate doing this. I'm going to miss you while you're in Italy. Don't tell anyone about my vulnerable emotions." My eyes widen in shock at Jotaro. I didn't know he cares so much.
"Also, if I'm not with you and you're fighting...who will protect you?" My little heart jumped. I smiled up at him.
"JoJo, you mean so much to me. I'm glad to hear you talk about your feelings for once. But, I promise you that I will be okay on my own in Italy. I need to train in Hamon. It's my goal in life for Caesar. I'll come back to you, don't worry." I lean up and kiss Jotaro.
*Time Skip*
*Jotaro's P.O.V*
It's been months since fighting Dio. Y/N left for Italy afterwards. I've been having a rough time. My girl is Italy and 3 of my closest friends died. I still have dreams of them. Kakyoin's death plays over and over every night. I could have done more to save him. I gather myself together and look at the clock. Y/N should be getting to airport soon. I hope her trip to Italy was good. I can't wait to see her again.
I sit down at the gate, waiting for Y/N. Finally, I see a plan land. A few moments later, people start getting off. I stand up and look for her. Being so tall really has it's advantages. I look out the large window so see how many more people there were. Finally, I hear a sweet sound.
"JoJo!!" Y/N says, running over to me. I hug her smaller frame and I feel at peace again. During the drive back her house, she talked about how beautiful Italy was and everything new she learned. She really wants to teach me Hamon. She's so excited to tell me everything. It's cute. We eat dinner and continue talking about her trip. Eventually, I noticed her getting tired. I helped her carry things back to her room and I head home, letting her get some peaceful sleep.
Night falls and I have a hard sleeping, again. These nightmares are too much. I decided to take a late night walk, maybe it will clear my head. I wanted to go to Y/N house and talk to her, but I don't want to disrupt her sleep. I walk in that direction in hopes maybe she's awake. I see a dim light in her window. I knock on it. A few moments pass and she opens it.
"Jotaro? What are you doing? It's so late." She moves out of the way so I can climb through. I hold her tight. Tears start to fall on her hair. She holds me back and rubs my back.
"Jotaro..What's wrong?"
"I...I missed you. I can't sleep. I've been having awful dreams about Kakyoin and the others. I couldn't handle you being gone for months. I've...needed you." She pulls away and looks up at me. Her small hands wipe my tears. She drags me to her bed and we lay together. I rest my head on her chest. She soothes me by petting my hair. The more I think about everything that happened, the more I cry. I hear her sniffle. She's crying too.
"I know it's hard. I can't believe they're gone. I'm sorry I was gone. I should have delayed my trip."
"No..It's okay. I'm glad you went. You wanted to learn Hamon. It's for Caesar."
We lay in silence together. Eventually I fall asleep. I finally had a peaceful dream. I wake up and just look at Y/N. She's so beautiful. I've missed her. I can't wait to spend my life with her. At least I know one good thing has happened in my life; Meeting her.

PLEASE what is sda I’m super curious I’ve seen u mention it so many times and now I Gotta Know
ahh, ruth!! howdy! I would like to apologize if this ask is all over the place, ya girl is currently goin thru an emotional meltdown + this is my only respite 🤠
The Sergio-Divergent AU is my Baby 😭 it started out as two separate aus, actually! The first one was an "all the crusaders live" au and the second was a "joseph had a son who is josuke's father" au because I could not and tbh still can't accept Joseph cheating on the legend that is Suzi. I realized there was no reason to have them as two separate aus, so they became one.
I have a more detailed page about it all if you're on desktop, but I'll give you the quick rundown! Years after Holly is born, Joseph and Suzi have another son, Sergio! He spends a lot of his childhood with Lisa Lisa because everyone is super busy, and bc of that he gets the whole 411 about his family's history and Hamon. Joseph doesn't let Lisa Lisa send his kid through Hell Climb Pillar, so Sergio and Lisa Lisa agree on music as a good way to practice Hamon. He becomes a huge music kid because of this, which leads to him becoming really good friends with Sadao! (much to joseph's despair lol) He is mcShooken when Jotaro is born, and spends many weekends and school vacations in Japan with the Kujos bc he adores the little guy.
Aside from having Funky Breathing Powers, he has a relatively normal life until he graduates from uni! He has a mild existential crisis, but Sadao comes in to save the day and gets him a few gigs over in Japan. This is where Sergio meets Tomoko, and they hit it off really well (after Holly is able to convince him that yes, she is flirting with him lol).
There's a golden year or two where things are nice. Tomoko graduates from uni, and Sergio gets a nice residency for his compositions! They get engaged! But, things go haywire when Tomoko is like bro.. I am jus DYIN?? And they rush to the hospital to find out!! AHHH the bitch has been pregnant the whole time and her baby said yo I'm fuckin outtie! (I wasn't entirely keen on this concept at first, but this exact thing happened to my sister so I will let it be) Cue the age of madness, in which Sergio and Tomoko try to juggle their jobs, their upcoming wedding, and their newborn.
Things get even madder when Joseph rings to be like, "Heyyy... I do not mean to alarm you but we found Dio's coffin and, uh, he's not in it lol." Sergio is deeply alarmed by this bc Dio was like, the monster under his bed AND in his closet as a kid. He filed the fear away growing up because Dio was dead and couldn't hurt anyone anymore, but now!! Aha! He tries to keep sensible about it, and to his credit, he does for about a year! But then Dio makes his thotty thotty trip to Japan to go crazy go stupid with Giorno's mother and Sergio, a Joestar and big experienced Hamon user, feels his presence deeply. (Dio also senses him [and Holly, Jotaro, and Josuke but he has no idea lol]) All pretense is thrown out the window, Sergio flips his lid because not Only is dio back... but hE'S IN JAPAN AHH.
There's a mild lapse in logic here because it'd be safe to assume that Dio's in Japan to kill all of them? But right now Sergio's just like, he's here to kill ME (and then everyone else. The idea rn is that Dio's coming for him first bc he poses the largest threat, but ahh idk.) Anyhow, Sergio has a mild meltdown about it and postpones the wedding because he doesn't want to run the risk of making Tomoko a widow. Tomoko is not pleased by all of this and is like bro.. you've gotta go to Tibet and get better at fighting with Hamon, I'll go live with my dad in the meantime.
So he goes to Tibet! I need to rework this section a bit, so I won't write too much about it. But! His stand, Golden Prophet, manifests here + he is directed to Abdul by one of Abdul's childhood friends! (This is messy to read, sorry! This is an artifact from before the rework, and I haven't addressed it yet ahh) So he goes to Egpyt, and becomes good buds with Abdul as he learns how to use GP better. The whole time, he's been having the migraine and nightmare of his Life because Dio is also in Egypt! Confident (and perhaps too confident) in his abilities, he sets out to kill the family scourge once and for all. However, he's intercepted by a particularly destructive stand user, Suad, whose stand circumvents his own. He ends up suspended in mid-air by a pole through his lung, which. :( He freaks out for a hot moment bc he Knows there's no way out, and that he won't get to go home and marry Tomoko or help her raise Josuke. In the mania, he has a moment of lucidity and realizes nobody knows Dio's whereabouts except for him... So, he uses Golden Prophet to make one final spirit audio call to his dad, and spills all the beans. With his final breaths, he urges Joseph to seek out Abdul and also make sure Tomoko and their son are well supported.
The stand user, Suad, comes back into consciousness during this phone call and realizes that Sergio is not as horrible as Dio made him out to be, and that he's literally just a Dude. He's just a dad. Wracked with guilt bc she is also just a parent trying to secure a future for her child, Suad defects and seeks Abdul out herself. Abdul is familiar with some of Dio's stand users, but Suad was one of them and knows More. She tells him everything she knows + acts as one of his informants.
This is all set-up for the "All the Crusaders Survive" part of the AU. Joseph is way more cautious going into Egypt because it already claimed his son's life. The Speedwagon Foundation is way more present in Cairo, which is fundamental to Kakyoin's survival. The rest of the AU is very long and basically just follows everyone in the aftermath of the crusade and beyond!
#ahh i'm so sorry this is so long#i can never summarize smh#long post#like..#Really long post#i'm so sorry fellas
