It's not an accusatory question... but somehow, there's something melancholic in Mikey's expression as he speaks, even if he does follow it up with a smile. Lately, he thinks, there's been something different about Chifuyu. It's not like Mikey knows him as well as... as well as Baji did, but maybe it's precisely because of that that it's caught his attention at all.

After all, if even Mikey's noticed something strange, it's not likely to be his imagination, right? Of course, there might be another reason he wants to dig deeper, beyond just mere curiosity, but... that's something he doesn't want to think about right now.

Then, like a switch has been flipped, Mikey grins. The darkness lurking behind his eyes has vanished as if it were never there.
