neymarjr: my heart is empty without you, youâve blocked me so i canât wish you a happy birthday privately but please y/n come back to me. you succeeded, that stunt you pulled with that random driver hurt me, you can stop now. i know that you miss me and want to comeback so please y/n be reasonable. i made a huge mistake and iâll never forgive myself for what i did to us.

your day went terribly, it was your birthday and you were excited for it but your day was completely ruined with neymarâs post. because of course, you saw it the second he posted it. your agent called you, panicked and told you to avoid social media, but it was too late. you were home when you saw it and had a huge panic attack. you didnât tell carlos and you prayed that he didnât see the post which was very unlikely since neymar mentioned him. you were more mad at the fact that he disrespected carlos because he didnât deserve it. even if your relationship was fake to the world, carlos was nothing but a sweetheart to you. you even hoped that the moments you shared with him were true.
carlos texted you to come at his house to have a small party with some friends but you almost had a heart attack when you entered the house and saw all those people screaming "happy birthday!" filming you to have your reaction. carlos had a very different definition of « small party ». you saw him walk towards you with a huge smile, he was breathtaking, wearing nude pants and a blue shirt, letting the top buttons open, showing a bit of his torso. you were completely mesmerised by him, that was the effect carlos had on you.
"surprise cielito." he said after kissing your cheek, he wrapped his arm around your waist and gave you a hug. you melted in his touch and smiled at him. "you didnât need to do all that, carlos." you said. "nonsense, itâs your birthday after all." you smiled at him and kissed his cheek before some friends of yours came to greet you and wish you a happy birthday. carlosâ purpose was to make your birthday special, especially with what happened earlier with your ex. he knew how this whole situation affected you deeply, even if you tried to hide it from him, carlos saw right through you. he could tell if you were upset just by looking at your face.
"umm, carlos?" landoâs voice took him out of his thoughts, he looked at his friend but frowned when he saw the look on his face. "look who showed up." lando whispered as if the whole room didnât see who came uninvited. you gotta be kidding me. carlos turned around to see where you were and his heart tightened when he saw the look on your face, pure sadness. anger took over him immediately, that son of a bitch made you sad on your special day. carlos wasnât going to let that slide. the spaniard quickly made his way to neymar who was asking people about where you were. the driver roughly turned the brazilian around so he could face him. neymar was about to say something to the person who just interrupted him but he only rolled his eyes when he saw carlos.
"what do you want sainz? where is my girl?" he asked, looking over carlosâ shoulder. neymar looked very drunk. carlos could feel anger buildup inside of him. how dare he? "youâre in my house so, iâll ask you once and once only, leave before i make you leave." carlos said through gritted teeth. neymar scoffed before taking a step closer to the spaniard, being almost forehead against forehead. "are you threatening me, hijo da puta?" carlos was about to respond when charles and lando quickly appeared to separate the two of them. "okay, itâs enough now boys." charles said trying to lighten the mood. "move! iâm not done with him!" neymar pushed charles away which made carlos even more mad. "listen here, little boy. first you steal my woman and then you disrespect me in front of all these people. you think iâll let that slide, coño?" the brazilian added while pushing carlos with his finger. at this point there was nothing charles or lando could do to stop them. "let me clarify one thing, junior, she was never yours to begin with. and trust that now that she has tasted true love, sheâs never leaving." carlos said with a smile, which made neymar go crazy. the footballer grabbed carlosâ collar. "you made her cry for weeks, you destroyed her completely, and now you dare to show your face and claiming her as your woman? how dare you call yourself a man and make the woman youâre supposed to love and cherish, cry?" the spaniard said before getting closer to neymarâs ear. "if you dare to even whisper her name in your sleep, iâll come for you, neymar da silva santos junior."
neymar finally let go of carlos before leaving quickly. the driver was now concerned about where you were hiding. as he was looking at the crowd of people, who were still talking about what just happened, lando approached his friend. "sheâs with luisa and charlotte, theyâre on the balcony." carlos nodded before patting his friendâs shoulder as a thank you. he quickly made it to his balcony where the girls were talking, luisa noticed him and patted charlotteâs shoulder to tell her that they needed to go. carlos sent them a thankful smile before walking towards you. your back was facing him and you were too lost in your thoughts to even notice his presence. he gently hugged you from behind which made you jump before you recognised his fragrance. "carlos." you simply said. "yes, cielito, are you okay?" he asked, resting his chin on your shoulder. you sighed before looking up at the moon, shining on the both of you. "i guess? is he gone?" you asked with a small voice, feeling the tears threatening to fall again. "yes, for real this time." you frowned before turning around to face carlos.
you were still extremely close as his hands were on your waist and your hands on his chest. he looked ethereal under the moonlight. "carlos, what am i to you?" you finally asked the question you were scared to even ask yourself. carlos smiled before moving his face closer to you. "youâre the love of my life." and then he kissed your lips. he kissed you like youâve always dreamed to be kissed. with love, respect and passion. carlos was the first one to break the kiss, he looked at you and replaced a wild strand of hair behind your ear. "none of this was fake to me, every word, every attention, everything was real to me."

I'd rather have empty sheets than empty promises
Carlos Sainz x Reader
Masterlist
A/N: I suck at titles so bad that it's not even funny anymore lmao. Anyway, English is not my first language, apologies for the mistakes, enjoy!
âI donât want to sleep on the couch.â Carlos entered the bedroom you two shared with a blanket in his arms. Honestly, he looked adorable, but you were still pissed.
âThatâs fine. Iâll go instead.â You stood up from the bed and tried to grab the blanket from him but he gripped your arm instead. âTesoro, I want to sleep with you. Weâll talk about it in the morning, okay?â You wanted so badly to say yes, to sleep in his arms like nothing happened, but you knew you needed some space.
âItâs okay. Weâll talk about it tomorrow. I just need some space right now, okay?â Carlos did not look like it was okay, but he let your arm free. He was not used to you being so cold, so distant. At that moment, you were not his loving girlfriend, but a ghost of her.
You made you way to the couch, which was thankfully pretty comfy. Still, you did not feel as good, as loved and as safe as you felt when you slept in his arms. He must have felt the same, because you could hear him tossing and turning in the bedroom.
After a few minutes, against your wish, you started to cry. The fight you two had really, really sucked. It was about you not being able to attend many races this season because of school. To muffle the sound, you hid your face in the blanket. Carlos still heard you, and he made his way to you on the couch, devastated to hear you cry.
âTesoroâŠâ He sat next to you and you immediately crawled into his arms. He gently brushed your hair with his fingers and patted your arm. You were now full-on crying.
âIâm sorry, Carlos, I am so, so, sorry!â It was difficult to talk through the tears.
âItâs okay, itâs all okay.â He was doing his best to comfort you but really, he needed the comforting too, because seeing you cry broke his heart.
Sobbing, you replied: âNo, itâs not okay! I know you wanted me to be there. Itâs your home race! Iâm an awful girlfriend!â You were crying so damn hard that it was hard to breathe.
He continued to play with your hair, trying to soothe you. âI know you wish you could be there, Tesoro. I understand.â Itâs true that he wished you could attend more races. He liked having you cheering on him. He always performed best when you were there. However, he understood that you had your own obligations, and he respected that. How could he be mad that his girl was successful and ambitious?
âI just donât want you to think I donât care!â You said, crying your heart out. Ok, wow, this was a new record for you. Usually, you werenât the type to cry a river. Your period must be coming soon.
Carlos softly wiped the tears away and kissed your cheeks where they were. âTesoro, no, donât say that. I know you care; I have never doubted you.â You looked at him with teary eyes. âIâm afraid that youâll grow tired of me someday, or that youâll resent me for being absent because of school.â Here we go again. The tears started pouring once more. You tried to hide your face in his shoulder, but he gently pulled your head away to look at you.
You were ashamed of the doubt and fear in your eyes, since his were filled with love. âTesoro, I could never get tired of you! You are essential to me. Itâs true that I wish we could always be together, but Iâm so proud of you, and I know that finishing your master is important to you. And youâll be done soon, right?â He delicately stroked your face. He really was the perfect boyfriend, so compassionate and understanding.
You slowly started breathing regularly again, sometimes with the interruption of a few hiccups. You had no tears left to cry anyway.
âYeah, I only have a few months left. After, I can be with you at every race.â You managed to give him a small smile.
âThatâs it, Tesoro. Smile for me again. It breaks my heart to see you cry. I canât wait for you to travel the world with me.â He gave you a soft kiss.
You laughed at little. âGosh, I donât know whatâs going on with me. I cried this morning because I saw an old man sitting alone at a coffee shop, and I cried again when they didnât have oat milk for my latte.â He laughed too. âAmor, you pretend youâre not a big crier, but you always cry for little things. Remember when you cried after seeing the lobsters in the tank at the grocery store?â
You lightly poked him in the chest. âThey were just so cute! I felt bad for them.â
âBut not enough to not eat them?â You stuck your tongue at him. âI want to go to bed now, Carlos. Iâm so damn tired from crying every single tear in my body.â
âWith me this time, I hope?â You kissed him. âOf course. We should never sleep apart unless weâre forced to. I never sleep well when I donât feel your weight on the bed.â
He smiled at your words, then picked you up bridal style. You could get used to this. âIâm practicing for our wedding night,â Carlos said, laughing. He gently laid you on the bed.
You pointed at your empty ring finger. âI fear youâre getting ahead of yourself, Mr. Sainz.â He laid next to you on the bed. âDonât worry Tesoro, itâs coming.â You gasped and he laughed at your shocked expression.
âCarlos, you canât say that to me before we go to sleep! Iâll be up all-night thinking about it.â You were very, very pleased at his confession. You gave him a big smile.
âGood, then thatâll prepare you for when I keep you up all night after the wedding.â He snuggled into you. You laughed and he gave you a goodnight kiss.
âGoodnight, Carlos. I love you.â
âI love you too, Tesoro. Dream of me, will you?â
ăă+ăăăă+ăăăă+ăăăă+ăăăă+ăăăă+ăăăă+ă
Less than a year later, you were walking down the stage of your university, one hand resting on your very rounded belly, showing off the diamond on your finger, and the other holding you masterâs degree. You could hear your fiancĂ© congratulating you somewhere in the public.
Who wouldâve thought you were going to be a pregnant graduate? Turns out that there was a reason behind your endless tears that other night, a few months ago. Although the timing was not the one you had hoped for, you and Carlos could not be happier that a little Sainz was on the way.
You had been ecstatic when he proposed, and you could not wait to get married. Your only condition was that the wedding must be after your graduation, so you could have your maiden name on the degree, but before the birth of the baby, so you could all be Sainz.
Thatâs how you and Carlos ended up in kitschy chapel in Las Vegas after a thrilling GP. The pictures were adorable. You were in a short white dress, with your full belly on display, and your now husband was in tux, holding you possessively in his arms. You looked positively in love, and thatâs what you were. This was not the grand wedding you had expected, but it was a thousand times sweeter. Plus, it would be a great story to tell at bedtime.

âJongho wait! Please!â You called out, trying to chase the boy as he stomps out of the Library. Luckily the door was a pull not a push which slowed him down just enough for you to catch up âJongho please.â You begged, grabbing his arm. Your heart clenches when he rips it out of your hold âNo. What the actually fuck was that huh? You said you were over him, completelyâ his voice was loud and thankfully you both were out of the library or else you wouldâve gotten the scolding of a lifetime âI am I swear. He caught me at a bad time and I wasnât thinking straight please.â Jongho really didnât know what to say. Yeah he expected it from Seonghwa but from you, absolutely not. He thought that you were 100000% over Seonghwa. He would watch as you two walked around campus hand and hand noticing the dark glare from the older man but you never even noticed, never batted an eye, too engrossed in the person you were with. Maybe thatâs why Jongho felt immense anger with your words, his eye twitching slightly âCaught you at a bad time? What? Waiting for me?â
He really could not believe what he was hearing. If all you needed was a distraction he was fine with that in fact he was the one who offered. Things only started to change when you wanted more. The little dates, the hand holding, the late night phone calls, everything you initiated. So he was genuinely confused with the events that unfolded just a few minutes ago âNo please I didnât mean it like thatâ you were on the verge of tears and you can only imagine how you looked right now following Jongho like a sad puppy trying to get him to listen âThen how did you mean it because the way Iâm taking it is while you were waiting for me to show up to our study date you let Seonghwa finger you in the nonfiction section AFTER you tell me you have all these big feelings for me so tell me (y/n) how did you mean it?â Jongho spun around to face you stopping you in your tracks. He was mad, no more like furious and a little embarrassed. He really didnât talk to people or even date for that matter but there was something about you that was different, or so he thought.
You open your mouth to explain but no words come out and youâre stuck opening and closing your mouth like a fish. He lets out a humorless laugh, shaking his head âYou know what. Just forget it. Forget all of this and just leave me the fuck aloneâ You feel your heart break when he turns and stomps off leaving you in the middle of the side walk with tears streaming down your face. Seonghwa stands at the front of the doors to library, a smug smile on his face as he watches the scene unfold in front of him. Itâs only a matter of time before you unblock his number and crawl back into his bed. He feels no remorse, no sympathy just a little victory. He had you first and no matter how hard you try and convince yourself otherwise, he will always have some sort of hold over you. His smile only seemed to grow more when he watches Jongho storm off and more tears run down your cheeks.
You tried, you really did but no matter how many times you reached out Jongho would never answer. You tried to approach him on campus but as soon as you got close he would disappear. You couldnât just show up to his place and risk running into Seonghwa again, thatâs the last thing you wanted but you needed to talk to him, to make things right if he let you. You like Jongho, you genuinely do. He makes you feel great in AND out of the bedroom and youâd be damned if you were going to let some arrogant asshole ruin things. So thatâs how you found yourself walking up to that stupid frat house, knocking on the door and praying Seonghwa was not the one who answered. Luckily San was the one to open the door who is very surprised at your presence âOh! Hey (y/n). Um Seonghwa isnât here right nowâ he said awkwardly scratching the back of his neck âOh no, Iâm not here to see him. I was wondering if Jongho was here?â Your hands clasp behind your back as you sway anxiously. His eyebrows raise and his eyes widen slightly âJongho? Oh! Heâs in his room. BUT HE HAS SOMEONE oh nevermindâ as soon as you heard he was in his room you pushed past San and ran up the stairs too focused to hear what he was yelling about.
You were determined to talk things through with Jongho one way or another but when you opened his door all hope flew out of the window. There he lay very comfortably with some girl that was in your communications, whom you didnât care enough to get to know, bouncing like a bunny in heat. He looked over when he heard the door open only to see your shocked expression âAre you going to stand there and watch like a weirdo or are you going to leave?â Your expression morphed into hurt as you spun to leave âHey (y/n)â you paused when he called out to you feeling the tiniest bit of hope âCan you close the door when you leave? Thanksâ you slam the door shut behind you and rush down the stairs needing to leave this scummy house. But can you really be that upset? Do you have the right? You knew Jongho was upset but you still hoped heâd be willing to talk at least.
San watched you practically float down the stairs and Mingi perked up from his spot on the couch. He knew, everyone knew. It wasnât Jongho who told them, no no the boy was too private to tell them about his situationships. Oh no this was Seonghwa and his big cocky mouth. The boys knew you and Jongho were seeing each other but werenât really surprised when Seonghwa bragged about the library incident figuring you were back under his spell again. So when Jongho brought the other girl over they didnât bat an eye âYo (y/n) what are you doing here? Hwaâs not here so are you trying to get with another frat member?â Mingi teased. You didnât even process his words as you sprinted out of the front door just wanting to be in the comfort of your own dorm but it seems the universe wanted to punish you even more. Tears blurred your vision so you didnât see figure approaching âWoah sweetheart whatâs the rushâ hands hold your arms trying to stabilize you. You blinked a few times to get rid of the tears out of your eyes and when your vision cleared Seonghwaâs dark eyes were staring back at you. You sniffle not having the energy to push him off âAww poor baby.â He taunts before pulling you against his body, wrapping his arms around you âWhy donât you come back inside and I can help you feel better yeah?â

VI.
The shrill sound of the phone in your bedroom woke you up the next morning. You groaned as the light peeked through the pink curtains that had hung over the same windows for most of your life. You let it ring, and ring, and ring. Finally it stopped. Then it started again. Everyone must be gone for the day.
âHarrington residence?â You asked, sleep thick in your voice. You drank a sip of water as you waited for the caller to finally reveal themselves.
âHey.â It was Eddie, and he sounded rough. âGood morning, I mean. Or, whatever time it is.â He chuckled, but you didnât return the laughter.
ââMorning.â You said, as you plopped back onto your bed, twirling the cord around your finger.
âIâm really sorry about last night. Like, incredibly sorry. Your brother laid into me last night and Hopper has already called me this morning too.â
âOh, so you wouldnât have apologized if Steve and Hopper wouldnât have made you?â Your attitude was strong this morning, and you already knew youâd regret being this bitchy to him as soon as you asked the question.
âThey didnât make me, Jesus. Iâm just admitting I know I was an asshole to you, I got way too drunk last night, and I canât believe I did that instead of worrying about where you were and what was going on with you and Caleb out there. Mâsorry. I really am.â
âItâs not okay, Eddie. If thatâs what you want me to say.â He sighed at the same time you did. âI don't think you get how scary last night was for me. Having not only Charlie there, but all of his friends too? They couldâve all easily taken me off and something wouldâve happened.â
âI said I was sorry.â He said, his voice was quick.
âAnd Iâm saying okay, I hear you, but I donât know what you want me to say back, Eddie. Iâm pissed off that you were so irresponsible.â
âThanks for the congratulations on being asked to sign to a label.â He scoffed out after a few moments of silence.
âFuck, what has gotten into you? Where is this attitude coming from?â You snapped at him as you sat up in your bed. âDid you just call me to see how mad you could make me again today? This is not what I signed up for, Eddie.â
âWhat do you think you signed up for, then?â
âA nice boyfriend for one. One that was my best friend, and he was never mean to me, or-â
âWhat about all of those times in high school-â
âFUCK, Eddie. Itâs too early for this bullshit. Iâm hanging up, and whenever you can figure out what the hell crawled up your ass, then we can talk. Bye.â
Fuck, you didnât know what had gotten into him. A few seconds after you hung up the phone, it rang again.
âWhat?!?â You answered.
âYou are just like your brother with the attitude, damn.â It was Dustin, you could tell by the slight lisp in his voice.
âOh my God, Iâm so sorry. Eddie just called me and he was⊠he was being a jerk, so I thought it was him calling me back yet again.â
âNo, itâs just me. I was calling you because I think we figured something out with him.â
âIs he gonna be okay?â
âYeah, heâll be fine. We actually called the lab, or whatâs left, and told them what was going on. He just needs to go and uh, talk to them about it. El said she canât see where anything is likeâŠâ he laughed to himself before continuing on, âI sound crazy saying this, but thereâs nothing in his head that we should worry about. Like before, Vecna kinda got in peoples heads before heâd kill them or something but she canât see him in Eddieâs, so heâs really dead. She said she used her powers last night, and she can kind of⊠eavesdrop in on dreams or something basically, and she was there in his last night to check on him and uh, it was pretty fucked up.â
You stayed silent for a few moments, âso the scars hurting donât mean anything?â
âNo, theyâre probably just healing still, and the dreams are so intense heâs probably re-feeling it all again too.â
Shit. You kinda, actually sorta felt really bad for him now. He was probably worked up this morning more from his dreams than anything else, and you didnât even think about that, but he still didnât need to be an asshole to you.
âHey Dustin, I need to go. Thanks for calling, Iâm sure Iâll see you soon!â You hung up before you had a chance to hear him get out the last few words. You dialed Eddieâs number, and he picked up on the second ring, sounding much calmer.
âHello? Munson here.â
âHey.â You said quietly.
âHey.â He matched your tone of voice.
âSorry, I forgot how bad mornings can be for you and Iâm sure-â
âNo, you donât have to apologize. Please donât. I was an asshole right after I told you I wasnât like him. I did have a bad night but I shouldnât have taken that out on you. Sometimes I wake up from a nightmare and because of the panic I can act completely differently. Iâm sorry if that scared you.â He sounded a little somber. âI understand if youâre mad at me.â
âIâll get over it.â You laid back on the pillows of your bed again, and stared up at the popcorn ceiling of your room, trying to count the dots. âWanna tell me about it as practice before you go talk to them?â
âSo Dustin already called you too?â
âMhm. I think you should go.â
âIâm going to when I have the time. Iâm not up for talking about it right now.â
You respected his decision but you knew he had to talk about it eventually. âAlright. So tell me about this record deal?â
He went on and on for god knows how long about everything that had transpired the previous night, about their first album being recorded in the city, about a first tour as an opening band, and about how long the contract would last for- and what quota they had to fulfill in those years.
âYou know, I did do some law stuff in college, only majored in it, and Iâm being forced to work at my dadâs law office starting tomorrow, right? I wouldnât mind combing through the contract for any small print you might have missed or been upset with. Even my dad or one of his coworkers could look it over.â
âSee, I was drunk last night but I wasnât that drunk. I did remember that, and none of us technically signed anything, I told him to come back in a few weeks. So I wasnât completely blitzed out of my mind, we didnât really sign anything but we were likely going to.â A deep chuckle came through the phone and you felt a swirl in your belly at the noise. âSo, you gonna come with me?â
âCome with you⊠where?â
âTo the city, on tour- everywhere. I donât wanna leave you behind.â He was as serious as a heart attack and you knew it.
âDonât you think this might be a little soon?â Everything seemed to be going fast paced in the last week, when you were the one who wanted to take things slow to not fuck it up. âI donât know if I can go back to the city, Eddie. Itâs too much for me. I could see him anywhere-â
âBaby, itâs Indianapolis, not Chicago.â
Oh, fuck. What would you do, surely youâd get cut off from your parents. Thereâs absolutely no way theyâd be ok with this, tarnishing the Harrington name after you already fucked it up by breaking things off with Charlie. Theyâd surely disown you.
âYou there?â Eddie sounded concerned.
âYeah, yeah. Iâm here. Iâm just, itâs a lot to ask, Eddie. Iâm going to have to think about it.â
âWell, Iâve gotta run this contract over to you today so you can take it to work tomorrow, or I could pick you up in the morning and take you to work?â He had a glimmer of hope in his voice. âThis kinda thing usually takes a few months he said, so itâs not like Iâm going anywhere soon.â
âHow about you come pick me up today, and take me to work in the morning?â
He excitedly answered, smiling through the phone âReally? You donât hate me?â
âNo I donât, but I do want to see you before I start this boring desk 9-5 job.â
âSee you in an hour?â
âSee you then.â You both hung up the phone, and you made your way downstairs where there were Sunday breakfast leftovers on the counter left for you. Your parents had left a note, ârunning errands for the day, be back tonight.â You rolled your eyes at their absence, yet again. You knew your dad had a business trip again next week, so thatâs probably why he wanted you to start this week to get trained.
âYou look rough.â Steve shocked you as he came up behind you, his bed head was more wild than youâd ever seen.
âSame goes for you. Why didnât you answer the phone ringing earlier? Thought I was home alone.â
âNot so lucky. I unplug mine when Iâm sleeping, so I didnât even hear it. Your elephant stomping down the stairs woke me up more than anything.â
You rolled your eyes as you bit into a piece of crispy bacon.
âEddie called and apologized this morning. Said heâd come over here soon to get me and Iâm gonna stay with him tonight, then heâll take me to work in the morning.â
Steve raised his eyebrows, âListen, I know youâre my older sister, and I know you two have been, or were friends forever, but do you think this is going too fast? Donât you need, need some time maybe?â
You furrowed your brows at your brother, âI think thatâs none of your business, but thank you for the concern. Weâre just spending time together.â
âYeah, I know. But youâre over there all the time already and itâs barely been any time at all.â
âAnd? You can go around on dates every weekend and sleep with a different girl and no one bats an eye? Whereâs this coming from? Iâm the one on my period right now, I didnât know you and Eddie had synced up too.â
âIâm sorry. Just trying to look out for both of you.â You both picked at the breakfast quietly, avoiding each other's glares. âGonna go shower and get ready before he gets here.â
âMhm.â Steve said with his mouth full of pancakes.
-
âSo Stevie thinks weâre going too fast?â Eddie asked in a taunting voice as he handed you the joint as you swung together on the back porch swing.
âGuess so. Because he knows so much about successful relationships.â
âYou think so too though, because you said you wouldnât-â
You playfully put your hand on his mouth to shut him up, âPlease. Weâre having a good afternoon. I donât wanna talk about this yet.â He watched you through squinted eyes as you took a hit off the joint and held it in your lungs for an impressive amount of time, then passed it back to him.
âSo what do you wanna talk about?â Eddie leaned in closer to your side and slipped his arm around your shoulders, and you felt cozy enough to lean into him.
âNothing.â
âNothing? There you go again with that cute little, ânothing.ââ He mocked your tone with a high pitched voice, which earned him a light slap on the chest. âHey, watch it. Iâm healing wounds under here- donât make them bleed again.â
âEddie, theyâre scars, not scabs.â You rolled your eyes as he held the joint up to your lips again, and you took another hit, doing the same as you did earlier. âIâm good after that one.â
âYeah? You feeling good?â His voice was warm in your ear, and you could feel the heat radiating from his body.
âMhm.â You answered and closed your eyes, tilting your head back to rest on his shoulder. âReally good.â
âReally wanna make you feel good again, baby.â He was rubbing his other hand on your thigh, and with each up and down motion he was getting closer and closer to your heat.
âEddie, I-â
âThereâs other things we can do.â
âWhat? Iâll make a mess.â
âI donât mind a mess, but I have an idea.â He said with a smirk in his voice. You opened your eyes and looked at him, he was already looking down at you, his hand had stopped moving and was now resting high up on your thigh. It crept to the inside, and you felt yourself squeezing your legs together to keep him from feeling anything more. âRelax.â He smashed out the joint and stood up, offering you his hand. âCâmon. My room.â
âNu-uh.â You shook your head, and crossed your arms over your chest.
He leaned down to meet your face, his eyes were a little bloodshot from the extra hits heâd taken between your few, his tolerance being higher than yours. âWanna be my good girl?â You felt your stomach drop, and your body turning to complete goo at his words. âOr am I gonna have to pick you up and carry you? âCause Iâm gonna get you there one way or another, baby.â
You took his extended hand and pulled yourself up as best as you could, your knees already feeling weak at just his words.
Youâd never been much of a girl for dirty talk in the bedroom, or at all. But your experience was limited, and it was a little intimidating that Eddie was clearly somehow more experienced in this department than you. He knew the words to say, and how to say them, and it made you wonder who, how, and-
âHey, pretty girl. Get out of that head of yours. I can hear you thinking. Anything you donât wanna do, just say it and weâll stop.â Youâd made it to his bedroom now, and he had his hands resting gently on your shoulders.
âOkay.â You said quietly.
âNow, I asked you out there-â He took a step closer to you, and put his heavy pointer finger under your chin and lifted your gaze to meet his, âare you gonna be my good girl?â You nodded, actually stunned at the effect that his words had on you. He slung his jacket off his shoulders, and pulled his shirt off. You quietly gasped at seeing the scars all over his muscular back, shoulders, his chest and stomach as he turned around to meet you. Your fingers reached out to trace the pink lines mapped out over his abdomen, and he reached up to pull your hand away.
âEddie, Iâm sorry-â
âI figured you gotta see them soon enough. Weâll work our way there. Take off your top, baby.â His fingers danced at the hem of your ribbed black t-shirt. He slowly teased his way up your body with the shirt until he pulled it up and over your head. âNo bra? Not what I expected from you, Harrington.â He started kissing your neck with excitement as his cold hands were snaking their way up your sides, and he paused, âyou sure youâre okay? I know you said you hadnât done much with him, or anyone else. Just please stop me-â
âEddie, just shut the fuck up and kiss me.â You lunged at him, wrapping your arms around his neck and he pulled your body close to his. Your bare skin colliding with his felt so good, but it was so different than what you were used to. You felt your nipples harden at the arousal that was pooling in your belly again, and it peaked again when Eddie was already moaning into your kisses. One of his hands slid up your side, to the front of your ribcage where he finally cupped your breast in his hand.
You both moaned at the feeling, âfuck, your tits feel so good.â He kneaded at it with fervor, and moved on to pinching your nipple. You moaned out again, breaking the kiss. âYou like that, baby?â
All you could get out was a nod, youâd never had your tits played with before now by someone else. âGet on the bed, and get those jeans off- just the jeans.â You scooted out of your jeans, and sat on his bed, watching him slowly prowl over to you. âLay back.â You scooted back and rested your head on his pillows as you anxiously watched him crawl over you to meet you, he leaned in and kissed you again, this time it was hungrier, sloppier, and his hand was more rough as it groped your chest. He broke the kiss to attack your neck, then your collarbones, and then he finally put his mouth on one of your nipples. He sucked it into his warm, heated mouth and you felt his tongue rolling around your nipple, causing your back to arch. He pulled off with a smile on his face, then blew air into the wet tit and you watched as your nipple became more hard.
âFuck, that feels good.â You moaned out softly, and you watched as he went down on the other one, still playing with the first so it wasnât ignored. You watched him go back and forth between the two for a few minutes, and clearly Eddie couldâve spent half the day with your tits in his mouth but you were growing anxious to get off. You tugged his hair to get him to meet your face, pushing up off the pillows to kiss him deeply again.
âWant you to try something new for me, âkay? Since youâre on the rag and all. Iâd fuck you right now no problem, but I know youâre a little shy about it, arenât you?â
You blushed and nodded, âyeah, Iâll try something new.â
âMâgonna sit on the edge of the bed and want you to straddle my thigh. Just one.â And he scooted down to the foot of the bed, and helped you climb onto his thigh- he was still in his black jeans. âSit down harder, baby. Remember youâre gonna be my good girl, right? Want you to use me. Use my thigh to get yourself off.â
âH-how?â You asked, feeling silly for being in your underwear, straddling your boyfriends leg.
âShit, you never done this before? Not even with a pillow?â You shook your head, and Eddie placed his hands on your hips. âJust grind on me baby. Back and forth. Whatever feels good, I got you.â
You nodded and started moving against his thigh, feeling the thick fabric rub your cunt in the right ways.
âFuck, why have I never done this before?â You rolled your head back with your eyes as you rode Eddieâs thigh, stabilizing yourself on his shoulders. His mouth was roaming your upper body, likely leaving hickies everywhere. Your high was making this feel so much better, and you could already feel yourself close to the edge.
âFeel good?â Eddie asked, his lips still moving over your body, kissing and tasting anywhere he could get his mouth on. You nodded and moaned, unable to say anything. âThat's my good girl, use my leg to make yourself cum, baby.â You ground yourself harder against the rough fabric and squeezed your thighs closer to his leg to chase your orgasm.
âFuck!â You yelled as you came undone on his leg, your chest heaving, and your head tucked into the side crook of his neck, where his curls were tickling your face. âHow do you know so much?â
âIâve seen a lotta porn, babe. Your brother works at-â
âChrist, Eddie. I donât need to know that you rent porn from my brother. Why the fuck does family video have an adult only section?â You earned a chuckle from Eddie as you absentmindedly twirled your fingers through his hair. âI feel so silly about anything like this because everything Iâve ever done before was just⊠for him. Never about me, never what I wanted, when I wanted, and-â
âAnd, thatâs fucking pathetic. You should have been treated better than that. Your body? I wanna worship every inch of it, your skin is so soft, youâre so beautiful, and I want you to know that.â You were blushing as his hands were still roaming your body.
âDo you want me to, you know, help you?â
âNah, you donât have to. I donât ever expect anything from you.â He smiled and you could feel it as he kissed the top of your shoulder.
-
A few hours later you found yourself sitting at the Munson kitchen table, reading over the rough draft of a contract Eddie had remembered to grab and put in his pocket from the show, while he was down the hall practicing guitar. You took another sip of the cold coffee as you read through the extensive stipulations.
âHey, Eddie?â You called out. âEddie?â You said a little louder, and he must have heard you. He came around the corner in his holey jeans, and a loose Iron Maiden t-shirt that had seen better days.
âYeah?â The look on his face only made you realize how hard it was going to be to break the news.
âI uh, do you mind if I take this with me tomorrow? Thereâs a few things that I want to get checked out by one of dadâs guys. I just donât understand this level of l legal talk, and I donât want you signing something away that you donât want to.â
You watched his face fall slowly. âYeah, I think thatâs probably for the best. Does it look good to you?â
âSome of it does, but Iâm not sure about some of it. You have to be really careful with these lengthy contracts. Sometimes they can really screw you over, and it seems like some statements are negating other things.â
He nodded slowly, scratching at his chin. âYou donât think we should sign it, do you?â
âIâm not saying that exactly, Iâm just saying I think it needs to be read through by someone smarter than me who knows more about how this works.â You gestured to the papers in front of you. âI mean, really, this guy just came out of nowhere to find you guys. He could be a total fraud.â
âWhat do we have to lose though?â He walked closer, leaning against the kitchen counter closest to you.
âA lot. I mean, it says if you donât fulfill a certain amount of record sales- which, I fully believe youâre capable of- you could owe them a lot of money. Or if you donât sell a percentage of tickets, they can break the contract. But here, it says-â
âOkay, okay. I get it.â He put his chin in his hand and rested it there, his dark eyes looking at you. âIâm glad youâre smarter than me.â
âIâm not, I just spent years of my life studying this and figuring out how people word these to trick people who havenât spent years of their life studying.â
âYouâve always been the smart one. Top of the class, youâre the real nerd.â He smiled, slowly walking towards you. âYour campaigns always, always were better than mine.â
âI mean, absolutely they were. But I donât know about now.â
âHold on.â Eddie held up a finger and ran out of the kitchen, down the hallway. You heard some rustling and pushed the contract out of your way, your eyes hurting from the small print. âHere.â He said as he plopped the book down on the table.
Your book. Your book from middle school, at that.
âEddie, how- how do you have this? Did it not get ruined when you lost yours and Wayneâs house?â You ran your fingers over the cover, before you opened it up, immediately recognizing your own handwriting, paired with Eddieâs chicken scratch of notes. âAnd wait- did you use some of my campaigns?â
âJust a few. Just the good ones, I saved the best ones for when you came back.â
âWhat if I never did?â You looked up at him as he was beaming a smile at you.
âSomehow I always knew you would.â
-
âScott, would you mind looking over a few things on this for me?â You walked into your dadâs employeeâs office. He was always your favorite of your dadâs friends, heâd seen you and Steve grow up. Scott didnât have a family of his own at all, so he was present at a lot of your familyâs parties and events. He was like a second dad, but a cooler one.
âSure thing, just shut the door and have a seat. I could use a break from the woes of the Hawkins community. What do we have?â
âSo, Eddie, my boyfriend, has been playing in his band for a while-â
âWait, like, Eddie Munson? Like, devil worshipping, town killer, etc?â
âYes, that one.â This was not what you expected, or wanted when you came into his office today.
âOh God, I know your mom loves this. I always told your dad the two of you were gonna be somethinâ one day.â
You blushed, but continued on, âSo, at their show the other night this guy approached them with his record label from Chicago. He had a contract ready to go and Iâve looked over it, and some things just donât seem right. I highlighted everything I questioned but there may be more, and I just needed another opinion about it.â
âLet me see here.â He sat back in his leather desk chair and put his glasses on. You noticed the way his hair had grayed since youâd last seen him, the way his eyes and mouth had crinkled more from the smiling faces you remember him always making. âYour brother doing good?â
âYeah, heâs doing alright.â
âGlad to be back here?â He asked as he kept reading over the papers.
âCould be worse.â
âI hear ya.â He nodded, reading through the pages. You sat at his desk, fiddling with the hem of your skirt. âCan you give me the rest of the afternoon for this? I have the time, just donât want you sittinâ here doing nothing. If you want, thereâs some paperwork in the basement that we moved from your office down there that needs to be put into the empty file cabinets. Doris has the keys, if you just ask her for them. Your dad left a note of things for you to do today and that was one of them. By the time you get everything filed away, I should be done.â
âYeah, I can do that. Thanks, Scott.â
âAnytime, sweetheart.â You smiled at the endearing name, coming from anyone else his age it would be creepy but you knew he didnât mean it that way.
Doris was quite the character. Sheâd worked as the front desk secretary for the entire time your dadâs firm had been opened. She took her job way too seriously, and she didnât like many people. But you and your brother just so happened to be two of her favorite people.
âOh sure, hereâs the keys! Iâm just so glad youâll be working with us. Your dad is so proud of you for coming home and working under the family name, you know that?â You shrugged and held back an eye roll. âYou remember what door it is, right?â
âOf course. Thanks, Mrs. Doris.â You grabbed the keys from her and rolled your eyes as you walked away, remembering how she used to gloat over your brother anytime she got the chance to, and now she was doing it to you.
You turned the key to the door and went down the stairs, into the well lit basement. It smelled the same from when you were a kid- sometimes youâd have to come up here after school, and your dad had a desk down here for you and Steve to do homework, or color when you two were younger. It would be creepy to some, but you both loved it. You didnât have to hear your dads boring conference meetings, or him yelling at employees. It was your hiding spot and you felt safe down here.
You easily found the piles of files that were meant to be organized by you- they were stacked on your old desk and disheveled from being moved so hastily down here. You opened up the top drawer to an empty cabinet, and you got to organizing the files alphabetically. These were all of this years cases the office had dealt with, from the beginning of the year to now, and you knew they just wanted them organized by the last name.
You recognized a few of the last names, and being nosy, of course you had to browse through some. You scoffed at the DUIs, and other small âcrimesâ the office either handled or probably hid from the public eye, until you saw a last name that was all too familiar.
âMunson, Edward - â86â
Shit. Shit! What do you do? It was one of the thickest folders youâd picked up in the last hour. You knew what you should do, what was the right thing. But what had Eddie done this year that your dads lawyers wouldâve been responsible for defending him for?
You carefully opened the Manila folder, and read the first line.
âHawkins Lab (plaintiff) vs Edward Munson (defendant) 1986â
âHoly fuck.â You whispered to yourself, carefully turning the next page. âWhy would they file a lawsuit against Eddie?â You whispered out loud to no one, as you continued to get through the pages. You heard the door open up the stairs, and you shoved the folder underneath the others, not wanting to put it in a cabinet yet.
âYou still busy down here?â Doris asked from the third step. âItâs lunch time and you got someone askinâ to take you out to lunch.â
âWhat?â
âSome guy with curly hair and a jacket on. Is he trouble? Do I need to get him out of here? Is he the one your dad told me to kick out if we saw him?â
âNo, no. Doris, that's Eddie, my boyfriend. Charlieâs the one we want to kick out. Iâll be right up, let me finish tidying these.â
âOh no, you go on up there and take your lunch. Youâve been down here for about two hours already. The mess can wait.â
âI really donât mind tidying up a bit before I go.â You told her, trying to delay her and finding a quick, more hidden spot for the files.
âAlright, Iâll tell him youâll be up in a minute. Donât take a minute longer!â
âYeah, sure.â You pretended to rummage around, then grabbed the Munson file and hid it in another file cabinet that was collecting dust. Surely no one would suspect you putting it there.
You walked up the basement stairs, shutting and locking the door behind you, as you shoved the basement key into your pocket. You felt your mind spinning as you walked towards the front, unsure of whether to bring up what you found or not.
âHey beautiful.â Eddie greeted you with a hug, kiss on the cheek, and a small bouquet of flowers in a small vase in his hand.
âHey.â You said, giving him a quick peck on the lips. âCâmon, Iâll put these on my desk and we can go to lunch.â You pulled on his hand to tug him with you to your minimally decorated office space that screamed âtemporaryâ.
âOh hey, I was just looking for you!â Scott said as he walked around a corner. âAnd you!â He pointed at Eddie, who then pointed at himself. âYou have a free minute?â
âWe were about to go to lunch.â You said as you set your flowers down on your desk and picked up your purse. âEddie, this is Scott- heâs worked with dad for forever, and I had him read over the contract from the label for you this morning. Scott, this is Eddie.â You observed the two exchanging glances at each other, then they introduced themselves. You could tell by Eddieâs faltering voice he was putting on a front- they had definitely met before. Maybe it had been a long time ago that theyâd crossed paths, but you had a feeling you needed to get to that file.
âWonât take but a minute. Have a seat.â He gestured towards the seats in your office, and you took a seat behind your desk, wanting to be able to watch the two interact.
âSo uh, seems here weâve got an entirely too controlling contract. Iâve gone through everything Harrington already combed through, added more comments, and even found a few more things. It seems to me like this guys label is pretty scummy, I donât know that Iâd take them up on this one.â You watched Eddieâs shoulders deflate as the contract was placed into his hands. âThe choice is ultimately yours, but once you read through youâll see what Iâm talking about. I donât think itâs the right one, I donât trust that theyâre not trying to take everything you guys have.â Scott eyed Eddie, waiting for him to look up at him from the paperwork.
âWell, I appreciate the time you took going through it. Iâll take it to the guys at practice tonight and weâll talk it over to see how everyoneâs feeling.â
âI think thatâs a good idea.â Scott stood up and patted Eddie on the shoulder, âGood to see you.â
âYeah, nice to meet you too!â Eddie yelled back as Scott exited your office. âPizza for lunch?â
âSounds delicious to me.â You followed Eddie out of the office and to his van. He chucked the contract into the back of it, and you watched it fall to the floor.
âHey, you okay?â You asked, patting his shoulder.
âYeah, Iâll be fine.â He backed out of his parking spot and started to drive away. âHowâs your first day?â Hereâs your chance. Perfect time to bring it up.
âPretty⊠boring.â You canât do it. âScott and Doris had me in the basement organizing some things that were in my office that hastily got thrown down there at some point to make my office look unoccupied. Heâs got a whole list of things for me to do if Iâm bored. Seems like Iâm going to be doing busy work and getting paid for it.â
âThatâs some shit. Youâre smarter than that.â He said, resting his elbow on the window sill of his door.
âYeah, I mean Iâm sure itâll get more interesting later. I didnât expect to get put on any actual cases or anything, but I did expect to be doing more than coffee runs or something like that.â
âThey have you running coffee?â
âAbsolutely not. Itâs just my first day, so Iâm not really expecting much. Dad said heâd be in tomorrow morning to get me set up. I think today is just a day of busy work since I wasnât expected to start working so soon. Or at all, even.â
âIâve got an appointment after lunch.â Eddie blurted out.
âYeah? Where?â You looked over at him, and he looked nervous as he bit his nails.
âYou know where.â
âOh. Youâre actually going? Do you need me to go with you?â
âSteve is. Heâs meeting us at lunch.â He quickly replied.
âOh.â You said as you looked out the window. Eddie was clearly a nervous wreck, and there wasnât much you had to say to the dull conversation. You two pulled up at the pizza place beside Steveâs car, and he hopped out at the same time you did. A fourth car door shut on the other side of you, and you were met with Jim Hopper.
âWhatâs going on?â You asked, suddenly confused about this lunch meeting.
âHeâs coming too.â Steve spoke up, placing a comforting hand on Eddieâs shoulder as you guys walked into the restaurant.
The four of you sat down at a back booth, you sat across from your brother and Hopper, and Eddie sat beside you.
âSo is this like, an intervention? Whatâs going on?â You felt even more clueless.
âThey need to speak to Eddie and have questions about you, so they need you too.â Hopper said.
âWhat?â You said bluntly as the waitress came up to take your orders- you added on a beer to yours for your nerves.
âYeah, apparently youâre going to have to answer a few questions since youâve observed Eddieâs behavior with the nightmares. Iâve gotta go since heâs always calling me, and-â
âHow do they know?â You interrupted your brother.
âI told them, when I called to ask them what I needed to do. Then they gave me 20 questions and I panic answered them, not knowing theyâd drag you into it. Hopper is going just to make sure no funny business happens. Iâm really sorry.â Eddie looked at you with puppy dog eyes.
âHey, itâs okay. I wanted to go with you if you needed me anyway. You need to talk to someone about this. Maybe they can help you.â
Hopper scoffed. âHe needs a real therapist. Iâm afraid this is just going to stir some more shit up. I donât trust these guys, even though the lab is gone. How did just enough of them just survive to stick around to make sure you kids didnât need anything?â
You four all looked at each other, you being the most clueless of all.
âI suggest being brief. Donât tell them anymore than they ask. Donât tell them who you hang out with, who you see, or where you work. Especially you, Harrington.â Hopper pointed at me. âThey already know your family, but theyâre gonna be hounding you for all they can.â
âWhy me? Why not Steve? Heâs the one who went down there into their whole, alternate universe world⊠thing.â
âBecause of your j-â Hopper started.
âBecause they didnât know he had a sister, and they thought it was weird you came back to Hawkins. They want to know what you know about it all.â Eddie cut Hopper off immediately, and you didnât miss the look on Steveâs face. He knew something too.
You looked at Eddie, who was trying so hard to lie to you.
âWould it have to do with the huge file at my dadâs law firm labeled Hawkins Lab vs Munson? The one from, I dunno- 1986?â You shrugged, looking at the men at the table.
âFuck, we donât have enough time for this.â Steve ran his hands through his hair.
âSo you were just going to casually leave out that dad fucking defended Eddie against the LAB?! What were they trying to say happened? Both of you- you both lied to me!â You tried not to raise your voice, and thankfully the kitchen sounds were loud enough as the lunch crowd picked up. âYou couldâve told me that when you dropped the whole Hawkins-has-a-creepy-second-life-going-on-underneath-it bomb, and it wouldâve been fine? But now Iâm working there and these scary lab people are going to ask about it?â
âSee, you donât work there. You work at Family Video with Steve.â Hopper corrected you.
âThat wouldâve been nice to know!â You raised your voice again. âSo what case did they bring out against Eddie?â
âI told you, I almost died down there. I did. But I came back through, and no one that ever died down there came back up to Hawkins and they created this huge case trying to make it look like I was the one who created the gates- because of the whole town freak thing, right? Believable.â He took a deep sigh, âScott defended me. Your dad couldnât, because it was considered a conflict of interest because they knew we used to be friends.â
âWhat, how did they know that?â
âThey know everything. Well, they used to, theyâd been watching our town and listening to everything for years before we discovered what they were really doing with their experiments. With a lot less people theyâve become a small organization, and theyâre basically sticking around to see if any other activity starts to happen, and observe and be âhelpfulâ if anyone affected by the âearthquakeâ needs help.â Steve answered.
âHow can you trust them?â You asked.
âYour dadâs firm won against them in Eddieâs favor, so theyâre at the mercy of him.â Jim spoke, and you looked between the three guys again, completely baffled, yet again, at how much had happened in the short time of you being back.
âI need to get some fresh air.â You pushed your way out of the booth and fled outside, forgetting your jacket at the booth. You felt yourself warming up out of rage as you walked over to the alley beside the restaurant. You grounded yourself against the cold brick wall and closed your eyes, taking a few deep breaths to avoid an anxiety attack.
âYou good?â Eddie appeared out of nowhere and you jumped out of your skin.
âNo, Iâm not good.â You answered him as you opened your eyes. âEddie, what the fuck?!â
âI donât know what to say.â
âSorry for leaving out a huge, major detail, and everyoneâs just been pretending since Iâve been home?! This is not okay. This is not why I came home. I came home for some normalcy, for LESS drama than I had in the city. And itâs been non-fucking-stop since I got back. I donât know that I even had this much happen in high school.â You ran a hand through your hair nervously, âwhat am I supposed to do?! I canât keep finding things out, Eddie. I canât do this. I canât keep on walking around on eggshells whether is your short temper, or my parents, or avoiding running into anyone from high school, or the fucking upside down bullshit!? Why is all of this happening as soon as I come home?!â You cried out to him as he stared at you with a blank face and no answers. You put your hands on his shoulders and felt yourself pushing against him. âSomeone give me some fucking answers!â Eddie grabbed your hands, and you felt your body freeze. What was he about to do? He placed them gently around his neck, before he wrapped one arm, then another, around your body and slowly pulled you into him, hugging your shaking form.
âIâm so sorry. Iâm so fucking sorry, baby. I shouldâve died down there. I didnât want you dragged into this, but I let it slip on the phone this morning when I called them because I thought it was the right thing to do to get help. If I call a normal shrink, theyâre gonna commit me for thinking Iâm fucking insane for what Iâd tell them. I canât call anyone else. Only your family, the kids, Robin, and a few others really know what happened during the so-called earthquake, okay? We have to be so careful about this. Iâm sorry.â He hugged you as he let out a cry.
âDonât you ever say you shouldâve died down there.â You muttered into his chest.
âNo, I should have. I quite frankly should not have made it. They thought I was dead for the longest time, til we all started having nightmares. Then when they realized I was alive, their case was brought against me, in case the truth got out, they thought that their asses would be covered by shifting the blame to me.â
You paused. Eddie had been carrying this around too, and it didnât excuse his actions but you could see why heâd been a little more quick tempered and anxious than usual.
âAfter today, can we just start over and see if things can be normal? Iâm really fucking tired.â
âIâd love nothing more than that.â You wiped your tears at his response, and hugged him tighter to you. âWe better get in there and eat, theyâre expecting us at 1:30.â You nodded as you broke your embrace and followed him back into the restaurant.
-
Another surprise, Scott was at the Hawkins Lab offices. He gave you a sympathetic smile as your eyes met, and you all walked in together to the meeting. Turns out that it wasnât quite as scary looking as you expected it to be inside, it looked like a normal, plain office space.
âMunson, Harrington?â A ladyâs voice called from the desk. âSeparate rooms, 103, 104-â
âNo, they're all going to be interviewed together in the same room. Iâm their lawyer, and I have to be present as well.â Scott slammed his business card down on the desk and slid it towards the lady. She eyed it, and put it back down.
âFollow me.â Okay, maybe it was a little scary. You felt a timid, clammy hand grab yours, and you looked at it to see it was your brother beside you.
âYouâre good, okay?â He whispered, knowing you were the anxious one of the two of you. âLet Scott do most of the talking, only answer if you absolutely have to. If you donât know if you should, just look at him and heâll give you the go ahead or not.â Clearly your brother had been there before, and knew what to do with these guys.
You nodded and squeezed his hand back before dropping it to your side.
You all entered what looked like a conference room, and took your seats at a long table. Paperwork was everywhere, and you tried to see what some of it was as you walked to your seat beside Eddie, but you couldnât make anything out.
âTheyâll be in shortly.â The lady said before she walked out.
Eddie leaned in and whispered, âthe whole room is micâd up, and security cameras in every corner. Stay quiet.â You nodded and looked at him, his eyes were wide with a look in them you had never seen before.
âHi, Iâm sorry it took us a minute to get back here. I hear youâre having some nightmares, Mr. Munson?â The man quickly shut the door and sat down across the table from you.
âYeah, theyâre back.â
âWould you say they ever went away with the medications, or did they just lessen?â He flipped through some papers before looking up at Eddie.
âThey never went away.â His leg was practically jumping up and down as he answered this man in a white coat.
âYou didnât check in with us for the last few months, so weâd assumed your medication dose didnât need adjusting. You are the only one of the group who uh, experienced what you did in the lab, but we really thought the dose you were prescribed would be enough. Now, you also said youâd noticed some personality changes?â
âYeah.â He answered, looking straight at the man.
âLike, what?â
âBeen gettinâ madder a lot quicker lately. But Iâd assume thatâs from the lack of sleep and the dreams. Anytime I fall asleep, I get the dreams.â
âSo, on average how many hours of sleep are you getting each night? Because that could greatly impact the effectiveness of the program we have you on too.â
âN-not many. Maybe four?â You looked at Eddie again, youâd been sleeping over with him a lot and never realized that he wasnât getting a full night's rest.
âWeâll have to change those meds for you then, how does that sound?â
âNot like Iâm gonna take âem.â He muttered.
âOh, you havenât been taking them?â The doctor put the files down. âAnd this is, your girlfriend?â
Eddie nodded, and sat up straighter. âHave you noticed a change in him?â
You went to open your mouth, but Scott spoke up.
âSheâs the one whoâs been around him with the nightmares. She says he wakes up unsettled, upset.â
âMr. Munson, are you experiencing any physical pain from these dreams?â
He looked at Scott, who gave him a small nod.
âSometimes my scars hurt after Iâve had a bad dream. Like, they feel fresh again.â
âBut no pain during the day, when youâre awake?â Eddie shook his head no as the doctor sighed and shuffled through some papers. âI honestly think itâs fine. We know that everything is closed off, there should be zero chance of this happening again.â
âI just wanna get some sleep.â Eddie said as he yawned.
âThen take the meds.â The doctor slid over a handwritten prescription for what looked like 3 different medications. âItâs helped everyone you know, and itâs not a permanent thing. You just experienced major trauma.â The doctor had a seat, making him look a little less scary. âIs there a reason youâre so against this?â
You watched as Eddie visibly squirmed in his seat. You reached out a hand and held his, squeezing it lightly.
âMy dad had a substance problem. Pills, alcohol, anything he could get his hands on. Iâm afraid Iâll turn into that.â He wouldnât look anywhere but the doctor as he spoke.
âAll of these are controlled, and you are only allowed a certain number a month. If youâd prefer you could ask the pharmacy to dispense it to you weekly, or have a friend keep hold of them just in case. One is for sleep, one is for any panic attacks, and another is a daily medication to keep your mood more at ease.â He looked more kind than he did before, and everyone was glancing at Eddie to respond, but he just had a deer in the headlights look on his face.
âHey, Harrington- letâs give him some privacy.â Hopper nodded at you, and you squeezed Eddieâs hand again, but he quickly withdrew it from your grip. You swallowed hard as you walked out behind Jim, feeling a lump in your throat form.
The second you reached outside of the office space, and the wind caught your breath, you felt the tears stream down your face. Everything had felt like so much for the past few weeks since youâd been back in Hawkins, but you had no idea the extent of what Eddie had been dealing with. You felt a hand rubbing your shoulder, and Jim guided you back to his vehicle where you climbed into the passenger seat, still crying.
âI shouldnât have come back here. I shouldâve just gone somewhere else.â You said as you wiped your eyes.
âGod, Harrington, youâre so dramatic. Donât go saying that. I think he needs you here.â
âBullshit, Hopper. Why did he pull away from me when I just tried to hold his hand?!â
He slowly looked at you before speaking calmly. âI mean this in the nicest way possible, okay? You canât get mad at me.â He paused, âAlright?â
âYeah. I wonât.â You sniffled and dried your eyes.
âThe people closest to you in your life- your brother, Eddie, me, Joyce, Robin, all those kids. All of us have experienced some of the absolute worst things you could imagine seeing. None of it was fake, itâs been hell here for years. We saw people we loved die, Dustin held Eddie as he died and somehow he managed to escape and live to tell the story, except we were all told we canât tell it to anyone. I know the trauma you had back in the city was bad too, Iâm not saying it wasnât, but this was a different type of haunting experience for us all involved. Weâve all had to seek help to stay here and attempt to heal, everyone except Eddie. And until you got here, he wouldnât talk to anyone about going to get help. That, in there, was actually the best heâs ever reacted to the doctor giving him advice. And the only thing that has changed at all, is you being by his side. I knew his dad, I know his uncle. That boy has nothing but stubborn Munson blood running through his veins. But heâs got his moms heart, and you bring that out in him. Heâs gonna get help, you just gotta be patient with him and let him know youâre gonna be with him. Heâs terrified to lose anyone.â You watched as Hopper smoothed his hand over his mouth, âSo I need you to do something that you Harringtonâs have a real hard time doing- I need you to get that stick out of your ass that you all have, and you canât react to his feelings this way, donât make this about you right now. Iâm telling you, you donât want to know what we saw. Did they tell you I was in a Russian prison being held captive? I got tortured, couldâve and almost died, but I couldnât give up. Those kids and this town were depending on me. I couldnât lose El, and she couldnât lose me.â
You took a deep breath in and out, taking in all of Hopperâs words as he put his hand on top of yours.
âYou need to be here for him, he needs you. You canât give up on him.â
âI do kinda have a stick up my ass sometimes, donât I?â You joked, making light of the situation.
âAll you Harringtonâs do. Youâre born with it. But youâve all got good hair, so I guess thatâs the trade off.â
âAny hair is good compared to yours.â You quipped at him as he lit a cigarette and rolled his window down. You reached for one and he handed you his lighter.
âDidn't know you smoked?â
âNot usually this, but after that conversation Iâll take anything.â You scoffed.
âSomething else is you two siblings can be really dumb. You do realize youâre in a copâs car right now, donât you?â
âAnd you do realize who my boyfriend is, donât you?â
âTouchĂ©.â Jim said to you as you both took a drag of your cigarette and waited for the other three to come out.
About fifteen minutes later, and two more cigarettes each, you saw Steve and Eddie walk out behind Scott, Steveâs arm was around Eddieâs shoulder. You didnât know if you should get out of the truck, or if you should wait to approach them.
âGo hug âem.â Hopper hit the unlock button as if he read your mind, and you jumped out and quickly approached both boys. You first hugged Steve, who had dropped his arm quickly to return the hug to you.
âThanks.â He muttered in your ear. âIâll see you later.â You told him bye as you watched him walk to his car.
You turned to Eddie who was standing there, watching Steve drive away, avoiding eye contact.
âHey, Iâm proud of you.â You broke the silence, and tested the waters as you gently placed your hand on his arm.
âThanks for being there with me.â He wrapped his arms around you slowly, and pulled you into his body. âI shouldâve told you about everything, but I didnât know how youâd react. Everythingâs out now. I promise.â
âI believe you. Iâm sorry for everything youâve been through and I just walked in expecting that you owed me a thorough explanation reliving your trauma when itâs still probably too fresh for you to even process. Iâm really fucking proud of you for going today, Eddie.â You pulled back and kissed him on the cheek. Hopper honked his horn, and put his car in reverse as you and Eddie both shot him the bird at the same time, causing you both to giggle.
âI think that was enough for you today, Harrington. Iâll clock you out at 5, and tell Doris you had some offsite work to get done with me so youâll be in the clear.â You thought about giving him the basement key in your pocket, but something told you not to.
âThanks, Scott.â You told him with a smile, and watched as Eddie gave him a hug too before he walked off to his car.
âSo, you think you could ride with me to get these filled, or-â Eddie nervously asked you, âI can go later if you just wanna go home, I can take you.â
âNo, Iâll go with you. And if you need me to like, I dunno, keep you accountable for anything I can. Or if you donât want me to, just say that.â
âSteveâs gonna do that for me, but I appreciate the offer. For now, I just want you to be my girl.â
Your heart swooned at the use of the phrase, as he kissed you on the side of your head.
âI can do that.â You smiled at him before heading to his van.

Prompt #15 with Megumi? Rivals to lovers with happy ending please â„ïž
There you go, I'm so so sorry this took so long <3 I hope you still enjoy it, I find it quite hard to write enemies to lovers under 5000 words :D
Opposites attract
Pairing: Megumi x fem!reader
Word Count: 3,3k
Synopsis: Megumi hated you the moment you stepped into Jujutsu High for the first time. As time flies, he always sees himself confronted with you on missions. However, one of these missions makes him rethink his feelings towards you
Warnings: Megumi is an ass from time to time, language
âWhy am I here, blindworm?â
There you sit, sloughing on your chair at the classroom, feet stretched out in front of you. Damn, you were taking the best nap of your life when your stupid sensei came storming in and woke you up rudely. He surely wants to send you on another mission â hopefully alone. If you have to work with one of these losers again, you break off.
Especially him.
God, you truly hated Megumi Fushiguro. His quiet way, tall figure and calculating personality. He is quite the opposite of your outspoken, confident and risky self. Maybe thatâs why you two donât get along at all. And maybe thatâs the reason why you always end up together. Hopefully not todayâŠ
âAs charming as ever, I like that. I have a mission for you, (y/n)!â, Gojo cries out in joy.
âAgain? I just returned from one. Remember?â
âI remember that you wiped the floor with Megumiâs ass, even though that wasnât exactly the taskâ, he replies dryly.
âYeah, that was fun.â
Both you and Megumi are grade 2 sorcerers while being in your first school year, which means that you can basically carry out missions alone but are happily sent together by Gojo for more complicated matters â much to your chagrin and probably his. So whenever you get the chance to give Megumi a hard time you gladly seize the opportunity.
âDonât be so rough, I know you have a sweet spot for charming boys like him.â
Oh, you know all too well that your sensei just wants to get on your nerves. But as soon as he mentions positive feelings towards a coward like Megumi, you canât help but explode.
âShut up, ew! I have no sweet spot for anybody!â
âYeah, everyone here knows thatâ, Megumiâs low voice mumbles behind you.
âYou.â
Your voice is shaking in venom while the vein on your forehead threatens to pop out any minute.
âWhat the hell is that loser doing here?â, you groan, face completely twisted in annoyance.
You just knew it. Seems like itâs Satoruâs favorite job to annoy the shit out of you by always putting the two of you together.
âCome on, give me Panda. Or what about Maki? Some girl-power would be nice. But not thatâ, you hiss through gritted teeth.
âGod, youâre so full of yourself. Remember the last time when I saved your puny figure from getting eaten alive by that curse? Youâre probably the worst and cruelest person Iâve ever metâ, Megumi barks back in annoyance.
âI donât mind being the villain in your story because youâre a clown in mine, Fushiguro.â
âThat was the nicest conversation you two had in a long time, great! Now letâs get to work, Iâm sure youâre doing just fine my children!â, Gojo interrupts while hugging you both.
Is there a way out of this madness? Maybe you can pretend youâre sick, too weak to go on a mission. But thatâs not your standard and you know that. Giving Megumi the satisfaction of staying at home while he gets beaten up isnât an option.
âMaybe Iâm lucky and you die on meâ, you mumble under your breath, storming out of the room faster than Megumi can follow past Yuji who just stares at you in awe.
God, Megumi hates you so much. How can a person be so full of herself? Yes, your abilities are quite outstanding, your curse technique is very good for being a first class student and to be honest you are actually pretty handsome, but the problem is that you are very aware of those facts. And you make no bones rubbing that into everyoneâs face â especially his. His stolen glance is set on your back. You do have a really nice figure, feminine curves even though you train several hours a day. Yes, really attractive.
He shakes his head in disbelief. What the hell is he thinking? You are the crappiest person he knows, everything about you is disgusting, he hates you!
âWow, they really hate each otherâ, Yuji comments, eyes following the two of you in disbelief.
âNo, they donât. Trust me, this is something completely different. And I love nothing more than teasing that outâ, Gojo replies with a cheeky grin.
______________________________________________________________
âStop breathing so loud, Fushiguro.â
Kiyotaka canât help but glance at you in the rearview mirror, too stunned to speak by your nonsensical words. Why does Gojo keep sending the two of you on missions together? The air in the car is so thick that it could be sliced by a katana.
âRot in hell, (y/n).â
He never heard such cruel words come out of Megumiâs mouth except when you are around.
âIâm already there, youâre here after allâ, you bark back.
âStop fighting you two, weâre almost there.â
Your gaze wanders around the rainy area. Somehow heâs right, you should focus on your mission. The fact that two of you were sent here can only mean that itâs going to get ugly. Once again itâs about a school, once again a lot of young people are dying. You need to stop this madness.
âThere you are, Iâll create the curtain now. Good look you two.â
âSkilled people donât need luck, but maybe itâll help you Megumi.â
His blood boils in anger, just a glimpse into your stupid pretty faces challenges his self-control all over. Who do you think you are?
âWhatâs wrong with you? Can you just pull yourself together until we ended this mission? I hate you too, but now we have to workâ, Megumi smacks into your direction.
âAlways the good boy, such a role model! I want to puke in your face, it makes me fucking sick!â, you challenge him, watching as his facial expression darkens with every word.
âYou.â
With a swift motion, youâre trapped against the wall by his body. Your sharp and fast breath hangs in the thick air between you two, the way he pins your wrists against the brick wall makesâŠsparks fly. You canât help but notice his striking blue eyes when he glares down at you, the warmth that radiates from his body along with his delicious scent. Fuck, what is wrong with you? Why is your face heating up under his gaze, why does it feel soâŠgood to feel his frame pressed against your own? His lips suddenly look so inviting, so warm and soft. But no, you hate him, you hate Megumi since you first met, he is everything you despise reincarnated in one person. God, he annoys you so badly, you need to get out of his grip, you need to-
âStop it. Iâm seriousâ, he gasps against your face, lips so close to your own that you can feel his breath brush against your now prickly skin.
Fuck, you see stars. His grip around your wrist tightens, his face is getting closer to yours. Will heâŠ? No, thatâs impossible, Megumi hates you with all his heart, he told you over and over again. And you hate him too since the moment you first laid your eyes on him. But whyâŠwhy do you feel the urge to press your lips against his?
âOr what?â
Your voice is suddenly so soft and vulnerable. God, you look so adorable with that pink blush creeping up your cheeks, lips parted and doe eyes wide open. That desire, that urge to brush his lips against yours seems to become unbearable. Just once, just this one damn time. Just to prove to himself how disgusting you are.
Boom.
It happens faster than any of you can react. The wall behind you explodes and buries you under its rubble.
You are instantly greeted by scorching pain consuming your whole body. Fuck, fuck, fuck. Blood streams down your face like a waterfall, your right leg aches in the most disgusting way imaginable.
âFuck, are you alright (y/n)?â, Megumi screams, eyes widen in horror.
So much blood. Your whole body seems to be covered in crimson. Even though youâre not screaming or even groaning, he can clearly see the shock creeping up your eyes when realization hits you. But he has to focus on that curse. Yes, he needs to take care of that before he can help you.
You desperately try to free yourself from the debris that threatens to crush your body while Megumi fights off the curse that seems to be responsible for all of this. As usual, his facial expression is dead serious while his little shikigami work for him.
âHow bad is it?â, he questions, eyes focused on the monster in front of him.
Your leg feels like burning alive, a little glance at your body is enough for you to realize that you are not well. Maybe even so critical that time is running out for you.
âItâs badâ, you hiss back while pressing your trembling hand against the gash in your thigh.
A few broken ribs, a laceration on the head, here and there some open wounds and abrasions â nothing too serious, youâll get over that. But the giant gash in your thigh is definitely something else. Your leg was almost completely pierced by an iron rod. Surely that wouldnât be a problem either if the bar was still in you, but it isnât. And thatâs why youâre bleeding out at the moment.
Finally that curse is gone. Just a look at you is enough to make Megumi turn pale in an instant. Youâre sitting in a pool of your own blood, lids hanging heavy in your eyes. His heart skips a beat when realization hits him like a wall. You could die right here if he doesnât do anything.
âCome on, letâs get you out of hereâ, he mumbles, hands on their way to grab your body.
âI donât need your help, Fushiguroâ, you growl at him.
âAre you sure? Cause it sure does look like itâ, Megumi replies dryly and begins to inspect your wounds.
âIf even half of that blood is yours you need to get out of here right now. Iâm calling Gojo-sensei.â
âEverything hurtsâ, you blur out.
The sight of your terrified eyes makes Megumiâs heart sink in his chest. He has never seen you like this. But whatâs even worse is the fact that he is so damn worried about you, that the thought of losing you alone makes his breath hitch.
âStay with me. Donât close your eyes.â
His voice sounds so soft, echoes as sweet as honey in your ear.
âMegumi.â
His strong arms free you from the rest of the rubble above you and lift your numb body off the ground with ease. Your vision slowly but surely begins to get blurry, it gets so hard to keep your tired eyes open.
âWhat is it, (y/n)?â, he softly asks while maneuvering his shikigami around in order to find the other curses that have to be here.
âI donât remember a moment where you were so kind to meâ, you purr.
âWell, thatâs because there wasnât a single moment where you were so kind to meâ, he remarks with a small smile.
âI h-have to sayâŠThatâŠThat youâre notâŠt-that bad.â
Your words are a true mess, so quiet that he has to focus on your low voice in order to understand. But oh you look so lovely, wearing a soft smile on your lips and that tender gleam in your eyes makes his heart skip a beat. Over and over, he told himself that he truly hates you, that you are an evil person that doesnât deserve his affection. Always keen to hide his stolen glances and the way your sight makes him hold his breath. Your body, your brain, your everything. But seeing you like this, vulnerable laying in his hands, he canât help but admire you. Admire a woman this strong and independent, a woman who never fears anything.
âYouâre pretty okay too I guessâ, he replies, hands wrapped tighter around your sagging body.
âHow about staying awake for a little longer? I bet you canât make it until weâre back at Jujutsu High.â
âI bet I will, asshole.â
____________________________________________________________
âShe kept bugging me about telling you that she stayed awake to the end. And that youâre a loser.â
âSo sheâs fine, thatâs great!â, Gojo proclaims and pads Megumiâs shoulder.
It was a close call, he knows it. And that sweet seconds just before the wall behind your back shatteredâŠWhat was that? Affection? No, no, no. Thatâs simply not possible. You are the worst person walking on this planet. The thought of you alone makes his gut twist in disgust and heats up his face. You drive him crazy like no other. And the fact that you almost died and were a decent person for one second wonât change that.
âShould have left her there. Iâm leavingâ, Megumi mumbles and turns away.
Why was he here anyway? Shoko already stitched him up a few hours ago, he has no business being in the hospital wing. âDidnât you want to visit her, Megumi-chan?â
âI would rather train with you than seeing her. Why would I care about her well-being?â, he remarks quickly.
Gojo and Shoko watch him as he storms out.
âDo they really think they hate each other?â
âYupâ, Gojo confirms.
The fresh air of the evening hits his face with full force. Fuck, what the hell is wrong with him? Why is he feeling this way? He shouldnât be worried about your well-being, he shouldnât care at all about the fact that you are injured. After all, you put yourself in that situation. God, he just hates you so much. In his world, thereâs no place for positive feelings towards you. But still⊠He stops in his tracks, eyes glued to the ground.
Why does he want to turn around, to let his feet carry him into the hospital room, to sit beside you? What is it that urges him to at least check on you? Pictures of you flood his mind. Your breathtaking smile, the stunning glimmer in your eyes, the confidence thatâs dripping from your sweet voice. Why do you have to be so damn perfect and why the hell is his heart beating so fast by the thought of it alone?
As if in trance, he begins to walk back into the direction of the hospital wing, back where you are. He has to prove to himself how much he hates you just one more time. Just onceâŠ
He quietly sneaks past the room where he hears Shoko and Gojo still talking. If you have to stay for the night, you have to be down the corridor on the right. Over and over, he looks over his shoulder. If someone catches him sneaking up on you he might need to burry himself alive. All the jokes, the constant teasing from Gojo about you and him really get on his nerves. Why canât they see that he fucking hates you?
There it is, the door to you. As noiseless as possible he opens it and gets immediately greeted by your gaze. You almost look surprised when he closes the door behind him again and awkwardly stands in the middle of the room, simply staring at you with his hands in his pockets.
âDidnât expect you hereâ, you comment dryly.
âYeah, I didnât plan on coming either.â
âDid Shoko tell you that I stayed awake?â
âSure.â
âAnd that youâre a loser?â
He gifts you with his most annoyed look.
âYeah.â
âGood. Listen, thereâs something I wanted to tell you in personâŠâ, you begin while nervously fumbling with your fingers.
This catches Megumi off guard. You always know what to say or react. How is it possible that you are jumpy? And to top it off, because of him?
âWhy did you save me, Megumi?â
What on earth is going on? He scratches the back of his head, too stunned to speak. Are you serious?
âJust because you think Iâm the bad guy doesnât mean I am a bad guy, yâknowâ, he mumbles.
You let his words sink in, gaze never leaving his face. The last hours really showed you that Megumi isnât as bad as you always tried to make yourself believe. He saved you despite all the things you said to him without even blinking, risking his own life to save yours. MaybeâŠmaybe it isnât even hatred you feel towards him.
But something completely different.
âI will never say this again butâŠI think youâre my favorite enemyâ, you confess quietly with a small smile.
Megumiâs heart stops beating for a second, your sweet words triggering feelings in him he tried so hard to avoid. God, how many nights did he tell himself that you are no good, that he just has to hate you with all his heart? ButâŠIs he really hating you though?
âI can probably give that backâ, he mumbles.
For once in his life, Megumi sees nothing but your striking beauty and brain when his gaze meets yours. Maybe, just maybe you arenât as bad as he thought you are. But why does he feel so strongly towards you? What the hell is wrong with his heart?
âLet me kiss you. Just once. Just to prove myself that I hate youâ, he blurts out.
You hold your breath, dopamine, adrenalin and who knows what other hormones pump through your veins and leave you dizzy for a second. You didnât just hallucinate him saying that, right? The sincerity in his eyes tells you heâs dead serious.
âSureâ, you reply automatically.
With fast steps he crosses the room, now standing in front of you. And then he bends down to your bed, grabs your face and kisses you so passionately that you forget how to breathe for a moment. Your tongue intertwines with his, dancing in the most delicate way while you hold onto his strong shoulders for support. Is this really happening or are you dreaming again? Just a few hours ago, you spat venom at him like every other month before. But thisâŠThis feels so much better than constantly insulting him and to pretend that you hate him with all your heart. You realize with all clarity of your intense kiss that you probably never really hated him. No, this feeling his completely different from disgust. Â
He breaks away from you, panting hard just like you. Your glossy eyes look up to him, hands still resting against his shoulders.
âYes, I do. I absolutely hate youâ, he breathes out.
âI hate you tooâ, you moan before pulling him close with all force for another passionate kiss.
Maybe, just maybe Megumi Fushiguro isnât so bad after all.
But just maybe.
_____________________________________________________________
Bonus:
âOh, (y/n)! Are you feeling any better?â, Yuji shouts at you while waving you over.
âOMG, are you seeing this. Am I dreaming?â, Nobara mutters next to him, completely mesmerized by the sight of you and Megumi.
Are those shikigami? Your hand is intertwined with Megumiâs, the both of you walking next to each other andâŠsmile? Since when exactly are you smiling at Fushiguro?
âWhat do you mean?...Wait, when the hell did this happen?â
âMegumi, I thought you hate (y/n)!â
âWould you two mind to stop staring at us like that? (y/n) and I are kind of a thing nowâ, Megumi explains briefly while stopping in front of both of his friends.
âDid he force you into this, (y/n)?â, Nobara whispers in your ear.
You let out a heartfelt laughter, the confusion of your friends matching with your own.
âThis might be the worst decision I ever made, but letâs see how it all works out.â
Megumi gives you a reproachful look and squeezes your hand firmer. Oh, even in a relationship, there will always be that small part of him that hates you.
Along with the much bigger part that loves you with all his heart.

âLove Languageâ
-C.S
Synopsis: Chris and reader get into an argument, and reader goes up to Nickâs room to calm down. Chris comes up to his room to apologize, and the reader doesnât accept it.
Pairing: NOT established relationship, Chris Sturniolo x fem!reader (she/her)
warnings: cussing & arguments, but i think thats all!
back to: masterlist
âFIRST PERSON POVâ
âOh my god, Chris. Just fuck off!â I grumble. Chris and I have been arguing for god knows how long about Pepsi. A fucking can of Pepsi.
I had gotten up to get myself a water earlier, and Chris asked for a can of Pepsi. I said ânoâ, and told him to get it himself. He got mad, and started quizzing me, as if I needed to get him a damn Pepsi.
âYou were literally already up, y/n. I donât know why you couldnât just grab me a fucking Pepsi.â Chris shrugged.
âI donât wanna hear it, Chris. Fuck you.â I shouted, storming off to Nickâs room.
I donât live with the triplets, but I do stay here very often. Nick practically shared a room with me- not like he had much of a choice. I threw myself onto Nickâs bed, and sighed into âhisâ pillow.
Chris and I often had pointless arguments like this one. It wasnât nessarily because we hated eachother- at all. I actually had feelings for Chris. Maybe thatâs why we constantly had arguments like this. Maybe it was because Iâm trying to push him away.
I heard a soft knock at the door, and sighed. I knew it was Chris, because Matt and Nick had left earlier, to go god knows where.
âCome in,â I huffed, and the door slowly opened.
âLook, y/n. Iâm sorry.â Chris shook his head. This was the first time Chris has apologized to me. Was I going to let him live that stupid ass argument down anyways? No.
âToo bad, so sad.â I shook my head, not even looking at the boy.
âWhat..?â Chris furrowed his eyebrows. Dumbass.
âIt means I donât accept your apology.â I rolled my eyes.
âHuh? Why?â Chris asked, confused.
âBecause, you started this argument over such a stupid pointless topic.â I scoffed.
âYeah, I know, but now Iâm apologizing.â
âOkay? And iâm not accepting said apology.â I let my eyes meet his. He looked like a confused puppy.
âWell, if thatâs the case, iâm not leaving until you do.â He shrugged, trying to win this âargumentâ. I sighed, shaking my head, as the boy made his way to the bed.
He laid down in the bed, on the opposite side of me, giving a foot or two of space in between us.
Not that I wanted it.
I wanted to be touching him. I wanted to let him hold me. I wanted to be wrapped around his warm body, but everything in my mind was telling me no.
I sighed in frustration, as i turned around, to face Nickâs wall and not Chris. If I looked at him any longer, Iâd give in.
His body felt like a magnet to me, like I was constantly being pulled towards him.
I didnât feel any movement, or hear anything, indicating that Chris was in fact going to stay here until I accepted his apology, but I will not do that. Not anytime soon, at least.
âYou accept my apology yet?â Chris banters, and I grumble.
âNo, Chris.â I groan, acting annoyed.
âHm.â Chris hums, before I feel his arms wrap around me, pulling me into him.
âChris! What the fuck!â I gasped, caught offguard by the sudden action.
âThis should make you get annoyed quicker, so the sooner you accept my apology, the sooner you can go back to your nap, and the sooner Iâll go back downstairs and leave you alone.â Chris explains, but I keep quiet.
Heâs wrong. I now really donât want him to leave.
âWhat if now I donât want you to leave?â I ask. His front side is pressed against my back, and his head is buried in my hair.
I canât say iâm extremely surprised by this, since Nick and Matt tell me how often Chris claims he needs to cuddle someone. Quite frankly, though, I am quite confused as to why he is cuddling me. Maybe he just hasnât cuddled anyone in a while.
I slightly loosen up, my body becoming less tense in his arms.
â âm tired.â Chris yawns.
âGo to sleep,â I suggest quietly, still confused at this level of intimacy with him.
âNo.. you didnât accept my apology.. I have to stay here until you do..â Chris whines, and I let out a small sigh.
âSleep here, then.â I let myself smile, knowing he couldnât see, and I take his hand in mine.
âMkay..â Chris speaks, his voice soft and quiet, as he gently squeezed my hand. His breaths on my neck evened out, letting me know he was asleep. I brought his hand up to my lips, placing a small kiss to it, as I held it near my chest, as if I let it go, the world would end.
I felt his tiredness get to me, as my eyelids got increasingly heavier. I let out a small yawn, before letting my eyes close, falling asleep next to him.
I woke up, presumably hours later, feeling a weight across my whole body. I opened my eyes, and saw Chrisâ body, completely on top of mine. His arms wrapped around my torso, his legs tangled with mine, his head buried in the crook of my neck.
I smiled at him, even if he couldnât see it, and I placed a small kiss on his head.
âIâm awake. I felt that.â Chris spoke, his voice deep and raspy, his hot breath hitting my neck.
I felt my heart drop into my stomach.
âI also felt you kiss my hand last night.â He chuckled slightly. âYou like me. Donât you?â Chris asked teasingly, lifting his head out of my neck, letting his eyes meet with my widened ones.
âChris- IâŠâ I stuttered. I looked at the boy, fear in my eyes. I was trying to think of something to say, but his lips met mine.
âItâs okay. I like you too. Can you accept my apology yet? Or must we stay here for another night?â Chris giggled. My face flushed bright red. Chris just kissed me.
âHmmm..â I hummed. âI guess I can find it in myself to accept your apology.â I shrugged, letting my lips meet his again.
âAw, man. I was kinda hoping you wouldnât have, so I could stay here longer with you.â He fake pouted, before I replied.
âWe can still stay here.â

Dating Bucky would be like
An: i am just discovering right now and experimenting. Hope you like this. I hope I got Buckyâs character right. I am soo sorry because I did write how it would be like to date bucky but I also added some other shit, sorry đ
Warnings: flufff, soo much flufff and again reader is funny. This is for my funny gals. This is utter chaos. Tell me if you would like more cannons.
Sooo many cuddles, cuddles when youâre mad, cuddles after nightmares, cuddles in the morning which always make both of you late for meetings with the team, and cuddles when you come home after missions.
Your seat is reserved on his lap now, you donât have to seat anywhere else cause why would you, you have his lap.
You playing with Buckyâs hair and braiding his hair. Also you cried when he cut it because you were a bit too attached but he made up to you with kisses all over your face making you laugh.
You making stupid jokes which either make Bucky laugh or annoy him and you donât mind either reaction.
Bucky scolding you for drinking too much caffeine, and you not listening to him and giving him puppy eyes every time when he refuses to give you your cofffee, it works every damn time. He just sighs and gives it back to you while shaking his head at you.
You being cheeky and annoying Bucky all the time because thatâs your love language.
Him being annoyed and grumpy but only being a softie towards you because thatâs his love language.
See he is not like the 40s bucky now, he is changed, he not that shy now, he expresses his feelings to you openly which took time but now he has no problem doing it. He may not be full of life like he used to be in the 40s but he really likes his life now, he has a family. Steve, nat, Sam and especially you are his family now.
After 5 months of you guys being in a relationship, bucky was surprised himself when he asked you to move in with him, which you replied with a stare of 40 secs and then the biggest hug possible.
You are the only one that can calm Bucky down., may it be if he is angry or if itâs after a nightmare, you are his cure.
Soo much banter with him, soo much. You always talking nonsense which Bucky has to listen to, he acts like you give him a headache but he secretly loves listening to you talk bullshit all the time.
You once asked him this and he denied that he loves it, so to prove your point, when you were talking and ranting on an on you suddenly stopped, made a face like you were about to cry and asked him if he wanted you to stop talking and he panicked so bad, he confessed his love for your talking just like that, then when you started saying, âI knew itâ ,he realised your act. It all ended with bucky chasing you and tickling you until you said sorryđ.
You and Sam annoying Bucky and Nat, steve laughing his ass off and all you guys spending time together.
After you told the guys you were in a relationship, no one except nat and Steve believed it because everyone thought how can the most opposite people be together???
Also after that Steve and Nat told everyone they were dating too which made you squeal even though you were the one who already knew.
You guys actually moved in together with Sam Ofcourse, because it seemed like it would be fun.
You guys went to Wanda and visions wedding and had the best timeeee.
Wanda and vision moved somewhere else too, even before you guys.
You and Bucky always go on walks and go to your favourite cafe.
Bucky actually really likes mornings and always forces you to wake up and watch the sunrise with him, which ends up with you falling asleep on his lap and Bucky admiring your beauty.
Your favourite moments together are when you and Bucky bake his favourite cookies together, those moments are always filled with jokes ,laughter and kisses.
Though you may think Bucky must be a good cook since he was in army but he canât cook for shit. He can cook some basic things but thatâs it.
So he asked you to teach him and it was a disaster of Bucky burning food, you making jokes and laughing youâre ass off and falling off the kitchen counter. That was one of your best moment, itâs your favourite and Bucky does not like to remember it because you got hurt and he burnt food.
You always watch movies together because you are a movie freak and Bucky likes you too much to say no ,he also he enjoys it too.
You watch atleast one movie a day with popcorns and candies in front of you. Sometimes the others join you guys too and then itâs a family time.
You are one of the only people Bucky shared his problems to and you are grateful to be the one he can come to when he wants to unload his problems.
After you two started sleeping besides each other, his nightmares have decreased a lot and now he never sleeps without you. Though sometimes he still has nightmares but you are always there to help him through them.
The first time bucky saw you cry was because you were watching Star Wars, itâs safe to say you are very expressive and Bucky could read you like a book, he actually loves that about you.
Piggy back rides are your go to for any quest. You wanna go to the hall : piggy back rides, wanna get coffee : piggyback rides.
You and bucky always go grocery shopping together because then youâll sit in the cart and Bucky will push it around, itâs very fun.
Bucky absolutely loves your kisses, and you love his. Bucky is always giving forehead kisses and just to see him blush you give him heart stopping kisses which he adores.
You both are each others best friends, you can share anything with each other and can cry, laugh with each other.
You were the first to say love because the moment you felt it, you expressed it and bucky was shocked. He also felt guilty that he wasnât the first to say it but he did confess that he knew way before that he loved you though he didnât wanted to scare you off so he kept quite.
You guys are always spending time with each other, its like Bucky will go somewhere only if youâre going.

Cat/Mouse/Den: Pt. 4, Mus Urbanus
Fatal attraction is one thing but stuck on a stakeout, a certain little mouse decides to push her luck with the cat who's been chasing her... just how far is too far, and how much more can they take?
CW: Obsession, stalking, canon typical violence, intrusive thoughts, unsanitary wound care
Authors Note: Hahaha, remember how I said I was going to do shorter updates? Yeah well, I felt really bad for missing the previous week but I did have a lot of terrible IRL shit happen, so working through that was a priority. That being said, going back through all the amazing comments and everything everyone has written has been absolutely keeping me afloat! Thank you all so so so so so much, you will never know how much it all means to me.
There are a couple of Hannibal references in this part that, hopefully, will start to make sense by the last part of the story (which was, coincidentally, the first part written!) Not going to lie, I am just glad to publish this so I never have to think about this damned part again as I have been stuck on in for literal months. Also sorry if Soap's accent sucks, the only experience I have with anything remotely Scottish in the way of language tendency is my grandmother whose father was a Scottish immigrant and that's it.
Anyways, I hope you like agnst and interrogation scenes, because next week, König loses his faith in god and in mouse while tied to a chair! See you there!
âŁïžCura ut Veleas ~ Caedis đ„
PREV | Pt. 4 Mus Urbanus | 4.2k words | Mouse POV | NEXT
âMouse?â A voice from in front of her calls out, but only after she deliberately drags her feet into the threshold of the neutral ground, alerting him of her presence.Â
âQuiet as a.â She utters her usual response, stepping into the little flat in Buenos Aries, Argentina. She hears the smile as Soap sucks in a breath at her little joke. Her callback should be old by now, shouldnât make him smile anymore, but he does anyway. Heâs easy to get along with, something hard to come by in war. She crosses the minimal space between the two and takes stock of his little setup.Â
For a mission, itâs luxurious. Heâs sitting, in a chair might she add, with a scope poking barely out of an antique window on the 7th floor of an apartment building, looking into a busy market square. His arms rest on a table littered with little signs of life, a map of the area adorned with notes and coordinates in inexpensive ink, no less than 7 pens whose caps are chewed through (everyoneâs got bad habits but this little sin of his drives poor Price up and down the goddamn wall), two disposable cups with sediment rings denoting how much instant coffee was drunk from them at a time before they returned to their places besides their drinker. Most notably, however, are two radios in a strange moment of near fornicationâ backs ripped open and wires crossed in an almost pornographic display of field ingenuity.Â
Damn demolition specialists, she hears the echo of Gaz say in her head and she absentmindedly rubs the scabbed over cut on her left hand where the shrapnel of a certain someoneâs frag grenade got her two weeks ago. She wants to be mad but-
âHear any good ones, lately?â Soap turns to her, heâs disengaging from his post, changing his guard for her to take his spot, just as command ordered. Heâs been in this little nest for about 6 hours and she can feel his desire to scuttle and tinker about radiating off of him. As he takes apart his gun, already aware and familiar that she refuses to use anyoneâs but her own, his eyes shine to life. The color of sky blue permafrost, yet they radiate a certain lived-in warmth impossible to distance yourself from. Eyes almost like-
She bites her tongue at the thought. Bad time to be thinking about König⊠she mourns. But, speaking of the man.
âYes, but itâs bad,â she offers, in fake warning as she sheds her outer jacket before moving to unhook the case that stands between her and the assembly of her gun. She knows the warning will only intrigue the poor pyrotechnic more.Â
His smile is nothing short of sadistic as he raises an eyebrow.
âNo, like, really bad,â she emphasizes, throwing a pleading look his way. His grin gets even more shit-eating-er if that sort of thing were even possible. âI mean it, MacTavish. Pass it along to your long-suffering Lieutenant, and you will be picking teeth out of your shit.â âIâm sure Iâve done worse to Ghost,â he supplies, rolling his shoulders. Yeah, Iâm sure you have, she thinks but is much too self-preserving to say, especially aware that the Frankenstienâs monster of a radio heâs resurrected from two dead circuit boards is likely not secure enough to promise any real privacy. She would rather not alert Simon Riley that sheâs become a dealer in his and Soapâs armâs race of terrible jokes. He does not take prisoners, after allâŠÂ
âAlright, alright, just donât tell him itâs from me,â she smiles, putting her hands up defensively in a quick jest. âOkay, play along with me now,â he nods along as he steps away from the perch and lets her take his spot at the table.Â
âSo, what's the difference between a piano, a fish, and a gluestick?â
âI know about two-thirds oâ this one.âÂ
Mouse trap baited. She smiles.
âGive it a go, then.â She wiggles in the chair, pressing her cheek to the crux of the sight and its metal holder. She sighs into the familiar feeling of control that settles into her bones as she hunches over.
âCan tuna piano butâcha canât tuna fish?â He supplies, half teasing her already.
âYep, but youâre forgetting something.â She sighs and goes to fiddle with the red-light optics extension, Command is confident enough in her abilities that she was specifically told to take it off for this one. She hears Soap whisper a quiet âoh shiteâ behind her when he realizes he probably forgot to himself and she laughs a little.Â
âWhat about the glue?â
Mouse trap set. Poor Soap, always getting himself into ambushesâŠ
She smiles wide and hums remembering how excited her kitty-cat was to tell her this part.Â
âSee, I knew youâd get stuck on that one.âÂ
Mouse trap sprung. A moment of silence.
âOh fuck me, that one is bad.â Soap chokes out a hearty laugh as he collects his discarded coffee cups from her side.
âNo thanks,â she purrs as she finally sets herself into position. âUse it at your discretion, soldier.â
âAye, that I will.âÂ
Soap goes to rummage through the kitchenette to her right and she takes the moment she lacks supervision to indulge herself. She does not move her sights to alert the man with her of the wandering of her eyes, instead, she scans windows and alleys without visual aid. The stale air threatens to choke her as she rakes over the golden-hued morning scene with desperate efficiency.Â
After what feels like an eternity of stolen glances switching between her targeted area and anywhere he may be, she sees him.Â
Technically, she has no way to know for certain that itâs König, she doesnât have his usual wave or cheeky grin (affectionately referred to as a Cheshire Cat Smile in her own belabored heart) to alert her to his presence. That being considered, there is a masculine figure barely peeking out of a window into an alleyway who is just shy of 7 feet tall and his face is covered. Yeah, probably König. She smiles despite herself and her company. She wonders if he has radio access to her little hideout.Â
(She remembers the seemingly endless weeks of his arrival to her perch. The early morning light hits the streets the same way it had hit the forest ground that day. Like a fairy tale prince, beseeching a princess on hand and knee, he would always somehow appear in her sights, nearly as though it was just meant to be!Â
His form stands out tall and proud from its surroundings and she recounts every single reason he should not be here. By the third time their eyes caught sheâd decided he was doing it on purpose, but she never let him get away with it without some acknowledgment on her side. She can only imagine that if sheâs getting hunted for sport, her calling out his position will, at least temporarily, halt his advance.Â
But by this rate, sheâll be in his mouth by the end of the year.Â
His eyes are cold and bloodshot red. Painted tears lick their way down the hood sheâs never seen him without, possibly a feeble attempt at impersonality? Maybe if he looks enough like a monster people will just trust their first assumption and leave him alone. But sheâs never been one to judge a book by its coverâŠ
âI see you, König.â She warns out to him. He stills among the foliage, bathed in sweet-honey-like warmth from the rising sun. He does not shy away from his imminent death on the business end of her rifle, of course not! Instead, he raises his chest proudly, seemingly aware that the loneliness in her yields to whatever greater magnetism the loneliness in him commands. Heâs an enigma, it bothers her that of all the people to put the effort into finding her, it has to be him. Mostly she curses herself for promising him a next time all those encounters ago, if sheâd known what sort of a game it would inspire in the predator stalking her like prey despite her flipping sniper rifle, she never would have said a thing.Â
He may be in her scope, but heâs got her under a finer microscope to seek her out so faithfully. She wishes she got this sort of dizzying devotion from someone, anyone else. It is the third day this week he has found her.
What she expects to happen is what has happened for weeks now, 1) he hears her transmission, 2) he smiles at her as a predator smiles at pray, his eyes find hers and her hackles rise in utter terror, and 3) he hums to himself and turns away, self-satisfied enough to have won hide-and-seek for the time being.
That does not happen.Â
Instead, König sits down, right where he is, and pulls out that monster of a knife he keeps strapped to himself. He throws it up and catches it without looking at it, instead his eyes are laser-focused on Mouse. This is, of course, despite the fact he should have no earthly idea where she is. He plays with his knife idly for what must be an hour, but she does not- no, can not- look away from him.
She remembers her trigger finger twitching with sinful power, she remembers choking back the insistence at killing another lonely person, devoid of their autonomy on a basic level when they signed up for a mercenary-issued ticket to hell.
She remembers hopelessness. She remembers refusal. She remembers the smile reaching his eyes when she played along with his joke.Â
âWhy donât rats like cats?â Her radio labors out.Â
She half forgot what his voice sounded like, surprisingly excitable and shrill for a man of his stature. Her brain stutters around the implication of the only words sheâs heard him say to her since the fateful ravine that gained Mouse her own personal 6â10â shadow.Â
She blinks a few times in surprise, genuinely pondering if her long hours hiking through the woods have made her susceptible to hallucination and general hysteria. She is not thinking when she timidly responds-
âWhy?âÂ
âBecause they are weapons of maus-destruction.â Konig replies like itâs not the stupidest thing sheâs ever heard in her goddamn life. Perhaps it's pity at the memory of his discomfort around his comrades. Of the thought of the way he tries to make his body so small when around others (truly an impossible task he routinely fails.) Maybe itâs irrational fear, twofold and buried in her instinct to shoot despite the clear disadvantage on his behalf and her insistence that she does not do her damn job, or fear of the inhuman man in front of her stalking her through the woods. Or it could be discomfort, no one ever prepared her for dealing with whatever the fuck this is in basic training or field school. In the end, it doesnât really matter what it is.
In the sparkling, decadent light of a sunrise, her heart hammers in her throat at the first joke heâd told her, in some strange and desperate attempt to fill the meters of silence between them.
She laughs.Â
And he hears it.
And with his wide stance, his ghastly executionerâs hood in the place of a crown, and his knife back in its holster- his beautiful eyes seem to smile. Suddenly, his eyes look lived in, like someone has just put up new curtains in an abandoned house. His whole affect changes hinging on what was an irresponsible outburst on her behalf at best.
And for the first time, she does not fear a monster hunting her through the woods, silent and purposeful in his pursuit of prey. Instead, she wants to understand a man, whose eyes have lit up like a princess has just laughed when he kissed her hand.)Â
Soap wanders back into her small perch with two cups of coffee and sets one down next to her. She takes a quick glance and hums with appreciation. He takes another sip out of his and she remembers that theyâre supposed to share shift for about an hour before his rotation ends.
âYou treat all your girls to coffee in the morning?â She quips.
âOnly the pretty ones,â he returns with an effortless charisma and her breath catches.
Not because of Soap, but because in that alleyway, where she really shouldnât be looking, she sees the uneasy rise of two massive shoulders and-
Oh my god, did König just⊠get jealous?Â
The next idea she has is downright evil, really this is not the place or the time or any of that but-
Fuck it. Sheâs already flirting with the enemy, what more could this do? Sheâs already told the poor mountain of a man something dangerously adjacent to âGod I really missed you when we didnât talk to each other for three weeks like a horny teenager and by the way I love you desperately and think about you when Iâve got my hands down my pants,â and she probably imagined him tensing up, anyways. No harm, no foul.Â
Maybe, it's dangerous, to wave a steak in front of a mountain lion, but what if she wants to get mauled?
âHey Soap, what page are you on?â She says, putting her terrible plan into action. She sees him look up from his report, or more likely an idle sketch, on her periphery.Â
âAh, only the second chapter, did'ya move my bookmark?â
âNope, the bookâs in the leftmost pocket in my duffle.â
âThank ya,â He says and moves from his spot to go fetch the book from it. She takes a quick sip of her coffee, delighted to realize heâs made it to her specifications as far as milk and sugar go, as he rummages around in her bag.
The impromptu book club started nearly eight months ago when Nova passed her copy of Emma by Jane Austen off to Gromsko to help him with his English. That turned into Mouse recommending the book Jane Eyre to Nova on the pure suspicion that she would hate it, which she did. Gromsko still needed to practice and enjoyed the spirited discussions so he joined the blossoming group with an English copy of The Doll by Aleksander GĆowacki after he finished Jane Eyre. Never one to be left out, and surprisingly well-read when he wanted to be, Soap had pitched the idea of The Lord of the Flies (because to quote âFucking Brits,â and he wanted to subject others to his high-school reading list.) If she remembered correctly, Farah and Reyes had also started sharing copies of books they enjoyed occasionally.
âCanât believe it was Gromsko that put it in rotation.â Soap says, pulling out a well-worn copy of The Silence of the Lambs from the bag.
âHe said he picked it up years ago in Polish thinking it was a cooking field guide.â She offers, as the man next to her idly thumbs through pages.
âYer shitting me, yeah?â
She just shakes her head and smiles into her scope. Soap laughs and removes his homemade bookmark, a pencil sketch of a stake-out view somewhere in Mexico scribbled onto scrap paper. He keeps his thumb on the page and flips through to where hers is, much further along.
âYer a right romantic, ainâcha Bonnie?â Soap laughs somewhere between the pages and somewhere behind her. âHmm?âÂ
âThis part, thatâya highlighted,â she hears a well-meaning sneer in his words. âThe one you put the hearts by and everythingâŠâ
Mouseâs mouth tethers itself into a terse line and she attempts her best noncommittal shrug.Â
Somewhere in her line of sight, a mountain shrugs himself chuckling lightly. She wonders what it would feel like, to lay on his broad, muscled chest as he laughs, how closely he would hold her, how she could rest entirely on top of his chest and not touch the ground beneath them and-
âIâm not sure what youâre talking about.â She lies through her teeth. Soapâs laugh behind her is loud and proud. Suddenly, his casual sadism isnât so amusing when turned around on her.Â
âDo you think it's because I like to look at you and think about eating you upââ he reads from the book, voice dripping in mock chivalry and breathless romanticism. âAbout how you would taste?"
She feels her cheeks and ears heat up as Soap loudly proclaims her funeral to all those who may care, and she doesnât miss the way König leans a little too close to his radio as he goes about mocking her. His stance shifts as if he hangs on the very words like heâs found a secret buried deep in her subconscious. Technically, she has no way of knowing, but Mouse knows in her heart that König is smiling. At least someone is having fun.Â
Once Soap comes down from his laughing fit he puts her bookmark back to its spot and talks at the back of her head.Â
âWith your pressed flower bookmark and everything. Oh, it would be sweet if he wasnât Hannibal the Cannibal.â Soap hisses out. âI always figured you wereâŠâ he pauses searching for the right word, âadventurous from how Gromsko talks bout ya, but seriously cannibalism?â
If sheâs not mistaken, Königâs hand grips ever so slightly tighter on the radio attached to the best. Maybe the battle plan has to change, but sheâs still got some ideas.Â
Soap is completely oblivious to the electricity licking up the air between her perch and one man on the ground. He looks around frantically, seemingly desperate to find her, and look in her eyes. Mouse is a sniper, she really should hate the attention, but something fatalistic descends into her smile as she lets Soap continue his little outburst.Â
âI swear. You and him, yer sure thereâs nothing there? Heâs even given you special field medicine lessons, no one gets treatment like that from Gromsko.â
âHis name is Sobieslaw.â Notably, it is not a denial. Technically, everything thatâs just been said is the truth.Â
Königâs shoulders rise.Â
He looks right down her site.Â
She smiles.Â
Come and get me, kitty-cat.Â
âSee! Thatâs what Iâm talking about. Youâre the only person who calls him by his first name.â
âBecause you never put in the effort to learn it.â
âThat donât mean a thing since I donât have tits.âÂ
âYou do, just not as good as mine.â
âAye, off it. Gromsko is into you.â She can hear from the way Soapâs voice carries haphazardly around the room that he is pacing and talking with his hands. She doesnât turn her back, gaze still fixated on the looming shadow in her sights. Soap continues, entirely unaware of the exact type of beast he is tempting. âHe swaggers around you, never even bothers to fucking ask to pick up your boxes, he just does it. His voice gets all soft around ya, too, like heâs cooing at a goddamn pet animal or something. He nearly got into an actual pissing contest with Ghost the other day when he bitched about you beating him in poker. Face the facts, Bonnie, he wants you.âÂ
Königâs eyes have focused with the ferocity of an apex predator and his chest labors out concentrated and sharp inhales and exhales. He resembles a recently sharpened knife, desperate for some carnage after a particular kind of attention. His body is crumpled in on itself not unlike a cat getting ready to pounce. His heels dig desperately into the cobblestones beneath his feet. His hand flicks out his beloved Glock field knife with all the reverence of a praying man.
In short, he looks every part like he does in immediate battle. He looks like he did the split second before he started sprinting for her in the snowy woods, the scene that occupies her lonely nights when she tries in complete vanity to recreate the feel of his hands cradling her sides.
Mouse should be scared of König.
Instead, she sees before her a scene of complete and hopeless adoration focused so intently on her alone that she should be afraid of. Realistically, she recognizes the clear and present danger of the moment. Is König upset at her? At Soap? At a potential adversarial suitor by way of Gromsko? She doesnât quite know, but after a career of intentionally hiding like a coward, she basks infatuated by the calamitous captivation he exhibits.
He looks like he wants to maul something to death.
As keen as she is on getting him close enough to try to get over to her (and ideally, throw her under him,) in her infinite mercy, Mouse decides the teasing has gone on long enough.
âI like Gromsko just fine, but not like that.â Soap audibly scoffs and Königâs entire form relaxes. Both men mutter something to themselves before an encore of gunfire breaks out. Mouseâs heart stutters to a stop when her radio comes in.
âVisual on Gaz, heâs hit!â Nova calls out, clearly alarmed. Soap grabs for the radio right next to Mouse and brings it to his face, holding onto a few loose wires as he does to ensure the amalgamation does not fall apart in his fingers.
âWhere is he?â
âTwo blocks from south from you, Gromsko is a click out.â
Soap looks at Mouse with his heart bobbing in his throat. The pain and worry on his face is palpable.
âGo.â She says. Soap looks around frantically at their supplies, seemingly taking a split second worth of inventory, making as many life-or-death decisions as he can in such little time.
âSoap, listen to me,â Mouse soothes. âI keep overwatch, you take my TAC vest and stabilize him until he can get a medic.â
âMouse, I canât just leave you-â âYou can, and you will. Go.â She says with all the finality of a door slamming shut. Soap doesnât look at her again as he gathers her supplies and nearly sprints downstairs.Â
Soap leaves. Quickly. Quietly. He never looks back.
Her stomach settles into discomfort and she looks through the door he closed with the same sad nostalgia she looked through falling snow and monumentous trees. She canât help but think she would not get the same priority in Gazâs situation. Like some terrible premonition, she imagines bleeding out on the ground as Soap turns away, never once looking back.
Would König come for me? She ponders, before she smothers the paranoia-induced delusion with the memory of his large hands on her sides. She looks down at her shoelace, where she carved a cylindrical hole through his effigy to attach it. The birchwood mouse carving that sleeps at her right toe gives a silent reassurance: he never really left you, did he?
By the time she looks back into her scope, in between the all-too-familiar white noise of war thatâs broken out around her, she sees a shadow dart out from the alleyway one down from where König is. The figure is cloaked in the specific type of military fatigue denoting his affiliation, one that is unluckily for him, kill on sight. It ducks behind the building to the right, where König is. It stalks out, lining itself up behind the hooded man, brandishing a drawn pistol.
König doesnât have the time to react to the blood spray that litters across his back from the other manâs head once Mouse pulls the trigger on her gun, silently thankful (as awful as it is,) that Gaz getting hurt allowed her to take the shot without Soap inquiring into her actions. (But maybe itâs her fault in the first place that König was distracted enough to allow someone to get the drop on himâŠ)
König looks back towards her and his head lulls to the side like a heavy flower bloom weighed down by morning dew. His eyes, somehow the softest sheâs ever seen, are also carving a large chunk of her soul like a knife cuts through soft wood. When he lifts his hood to blow a kiss to her, she knows she will never get her traitorous heart back.
âDanke, mein Engel,â the radio on her table whispers in his voice.
âItâs only fair. I did owe you, after all.â She responds, all together unconcerned with whether or not he can hear her. She smiles, thankful she can see those bright eyes another day.Â
When he turns away, she feels her entire heart walk away with him. With every step of his fleeting form, she feels less and less herself, as though someone had separated her shadow from where it meets her feet. Something has changed in the air between them, a sad resignation settles into her trigger finger when she releases it.
For the first time, she does not feel as though she wouldnât run if he took her, but rather that some integral part of her is with him as he leaves.Â
All is fair in love and war, but sheâs not sure just how much longer she can stand to play cat and mouse.

Kaboom ((18+))
Johnny Cage x trans male reader
1047 words
warnings : smut (minors dni) daddy kink. Breeding kink (pregnancy maybe) Probably swearing and other non-serious kinks. be warned. Make 0 sense cause i barely proofread it. Language used to refer to readers genitals include -> clit, pussy etc. so it's pre-bottom surgery. Don't read if uncomfortable.
Johnny gently rubs your clit for a little while, moving to bite your bottom lip and whispering the sweetest and dirtiest words youâve ever heard him utter.
âItâs okay to be a little noisy, alright? Itâs okay⊠youâre okay with daddy. You know that, right? Yeah, I know you do.â Johnny smiles and repositions himself so that heâs lying on top of your back.
He then probes around your pussy for some time before sliding a single, thick finger in. Your warm, velvety cunt wraps around it, and he canât help but chuckle. You took him so damn well. No wonder he was obsessed with you.
âYouâre such a good boy. A greedy boy too! Look at how much your tight pussy wants me, honey. So good⊠so good⊠Such a nice boy⊠taking that finger so well.â Johnny praises before adding another finger. It feels so much better, and you let out a loud whine so that he knows that youâre satisfied with his performance so far.
Johnny doesnât stop there though, adding yet another finger into your sopping wet hole.
âAaaaannnddd⊠that makes three⊠what an amazing little boy you are. So good, so amazing. You think youâre almost ready for daddy or do you need some more time, pretty boy? Completely up to you⊠Iâll take it as slow as you want, baby.â He coos and kissing the back of your neck, moving all three fingers inside of you and holding you as you move around.
Your entire body felt like it was on fire⊠but in the best possible way. It was hot and steamy and passionate, but it was Johnny. How could you ever resist Johnny Cage? Your thoughts were filled with the man, your daddy. Only your daddy. And the knot you feel deep inside you begins to tighten, just over Johnnys fingers.
You are taken completely over the edge though as he pulls his meaty fingers out and then pushes them back in at what you swore was inhuman speed. The knot snaps for the first time in forever and you squirt all over the sheets, crying and whimpering like a puppy. Johnny just adored all of it.
âWhat an amazing little boy. Good⊠good job⊠you havenât had an orgasm like that in a while, huh? You think you can have another one, just for daddy? I promise that Iâll go easy on my beautiful boyâŠâ He whispers, his rough voice barely making it through to you while youâre in a post orgasmic haze. But you make out enough to barely nod your head.
âSorry baby, daddyâs gonna need a lot more than a nod.â He holds your face in his hands and places you onto his lap where you can feel the large bulge in his pants that is now pressing right up against your soft pussy now. The only thing youâre thinking of now is what it would be like to have that behemoth massage your insides, the veins running along your walls and making you shake like a delicate leaf.
You whisper some words of consent, and he wraps one arm around you and starts to gently play with your nipples. âGood boy, I knew you wanted something like this⊠I knew it⊠Such an amazing little toy for daddy. So well behaved, so obedient. You wouldnât dare disobey me, huh?â He chuckles and kisses your cheek from behind.
Then, he settles the other one of his arms on your stomach, his hand deviously moving to touch your fleshy nub as he skilfully slips his pants and underwear off while youâre still in his lap. The tip of his cock is pressing against your silky flesh now, begging to slide inside of you.
âLet daddy hear how much you want his cock, baby.â He whispers and listens to the following sounds you make. Moans, whines, groans, and whimpers. He eats it all up with pleasure before the tip slowly enters you, dragging against your walls and making you even louder. Before it hits your g-spot though, he pulls out.
This warrants disappointment from you until he rams back inside and begins to fuck you in a steady yet agonising pace. Not fast enough to make you cum, not slow enough to have no affect on you. His mouth nips your earlobe, and he whispers, âCâmon, good boy⊠I know you want me to make you cum⊠I know you do, little one. Daddyâs got you⊠he just needs a little something from you first, alright? He needs you to fucking beg for it. Beg for my fucking cock, pretty boy.â
Broken moans and whines enter his ears from your open mouth. Johnny listens to you beg for him for what feels like an eternity before he gradually speeds up the pace heâs been fucking you. Itâs almost as if heâs punishing you which only makes you cry.
Heâd be lying if he said that he didnât enjoy it.
âAm I making you dumb on my dick, honey? Really? I bet you like being fucked silly on my cock. You love it. I know you do. Daddy knows- daddy knows fucking everything about you. Thatâs why heâs so good at fucking you stupid- fucking- fuck⊠your pussy is so soft⊠so tight. Best pussy Iâve ever fucking felt! So soft⊠B- fucking bounce on it! Bounce on my fucking cock now, baby⊠come on, come on, come on!â Johnny fucks you hard and fast now, spearing you on his dick.
He's so close to coming himself now. He turns your face around to your side so that he can get a little look at your features, staring at how your eyes are rolled back and your mouth is open in pure dirty delight. Fuck, you were so beautifulâŠ
Johnny then feels your walls clench around him, causing him to shout something before he spurts cum inside of you, making sure it lands inside your womb.
âSuch a good boy⊠pretty boy⊠shhh⊠yeah⊠holy fucking shit⊠youâre- youâre gonna be an amazing father to our kids, hun.â He chuckles, slightly out of breath as he lowers you onto the bed, still intertwined with him through his cock.
It doesnât look like heâs going to pull out anytime soon.
now that this mess is over, ty. stay safe when crossing roads. look both ways. don't get hit like i did. xoxo bye boo boo see you next year <3

Word Count: 7965
Previous Chapter! - Next Chapter!

Notes: I'm so sorry this took as long as it did! I've been going through it lately but through the power of boygenius I was actually able to finish this bit the other day! Please enjoy and also no one is allowed to be mad at me lol
Steve Harrington was going to be a dad.
The funny thing that came along with that was that Steve was actually going to have to tell people.
He imagined that there were many couples who would be very excited about this prospect. There were lots of young men out there who had mothers begging them for grandchildren. His hadnât quite gotten there yet.
You had told him that you wanted to put off telling people for as long as you could. He entirely understood why; times had changed quite a bit since his motherâs day, but still, being an unwed mother in Smalltown, USA was relatively frowned upon. Honestly, considering just how gossipy the population of Hawkins tended to be, Steve was surprised the front desk ladies at your doctorâs office hadnât already spread the news like wildfire, HIPAA be damned; golden boy Steve Harrington and his childhood best friend, having a baby out of wedlock? That was some front page stuff, right there.Â
Married or not, though, it was going to have to happen sooner rather than later. In a few weeks time, it was going to start getting very difficult to hide. You were going to begin showing any moment now, and as Spring started to settle in, it brought its warmer temperatures with it. You could only hide behind your winter coat and thick sweaters for so long.Â
And not just your bump; your friends were beginning to pick up on the fact that there was something going on.
âSteve!â Robin barked before tossing a wadded up ball of old receipts at him. It hit him square between the eyebrows. âStop moping and do your job, please?â
âIâm not moping,â Steve defended (he absolutely was), before turning back to the pile of returns he was supposed to be sorting through.
âFuck off, yeah you are,â Eddie very helpfully added.
âSee, this is why I donât like it when you hang around here,â Steve said, pointing a pen toward Eddie. âYou two always gang up on me!â
âWhy do you think Iâm here at all?â Eddie quipped back with a smirk.Â
âBecause you donât have anywhere better to go?â Robin supplied.
âThat, too.â
âEither way, Iâm not moping,â Steve assured. âIâm fine.â
âThatâs a fucking lie if Iâve ever heard one,â Eddie said over the click of the markdown gun, as he emptied its bright orange stickers down that back of his arm. Steve couldnât help but notice that he had set the price to âWAS $4.20, NOW $0.69â.
âStop that,â Robin huffed as she whipped the tool out of Eddieâs hands. âSteve, I can practically see the rain cloud floating over your head.â
âOh, my god!â Steve didnât really want to snap at his friends, but he did it anyway. âNothing is wrong! I am fine, everything is fine!â
Eddie and Robin just stared at Steve like a pair of deer in headlights from across the counter. They both knew how easily frustrated Steve could become, and theyâd be the first to admit that sometimes they can poke at him a bit too hard, but an outburst this quickly had been unexpected. Neither said anything, and Steve just sighed.
After a moment of awkward silence, Eddie spoke up once again.Â
âLady problems?â
âGet out!â both Steve and Robin exclaimed, in unison.
âI thought you guys liked me.â Eddie feigned offense.
âYou do not work here!â Robin said as she grabbed onto his shoulders and shoved him toward the door. âAnd Keithâll get pissed if he finds out you were here and didnât spend any money, so go home.â
âFine,â Eddie relented from the entryway. âHey, Iâll see you guys on Saturday, right?â
âOf course!â
âProbably not.â
âYou claim nothing is wrong,â Eddie said, pointing to Steve. âAnd yet, in the same breath, turn down free beer?â
âLeave!â
âI love you both!â
The bell above the door rang as Eddie walked out, and Steve was left in Robinâs concerned gaze.Â
âYâknow, Eddie does kind of have a point,â Robin said after a moment. Nine times out of ten, Robin was able to coax Steve out of his quiet and get him to talk about whatever it was that was eating at him, a fact that Steve was highly aware of.Â
âNo, he doesnât,â Steve barked back. If this conversation didnât end in the next two minutes, he would jump off the roof.Â
âYou havenât hung out with any of us in weeks!â Robin exclaimed âWeeks, Steve!â
âIâve been busy,â Steve lied.
âBusy with what?â she inquired. âDo you have another job I donât know about, or something?â
âIâm allowed to do things without you around. You know that, right?â It was meaner than he needed to be.
âOh, god, this isnât about your lover, is it?â Robin drawled with a scowl.
âYou know her name, and you donât have to say it like that,â Steve responded.
âYou two got back together, didnât you?â
She hadnât quite gotten it head on, but it was probably as close as she was going to get.
âI knew it!â Robin looked like she was going to explode. âI fucking knew it!â
âPlease donât turn this into a thing,â Steve pleaded.
âMe turn it into a thing?!â She was mad now. âYou two are the ones turning it into a thing! You cannot keep sneaking around like this, it cannot possibly be healthy!â
âWeâre-â Steve huffed out a breath. This tightrope he was walking across seemed to be growing more and more thin. âWorking on it.â
âCan you work on it a little bit faster, please?â Robin asked as she punched out. âYou two are so fucking weird about each other. Split, or make it official, just do something, because I hate having to keep this secret for you, itâs exhausting!â
âWe sort of already did. I think,â Steve confided. Partial truth is better than no truth, right?
âSplit?â
âMake it official.â
âOh, thank god,â Robin sighed, tossing herself across the counter, all dramatics. âI can finally quit having to cover for you.â
âDonât say anything yet.â Steve was quick with his damage control. âWe, uh, we wanna do it. Ourselves. Figure itâll probably go over a little bit smoother that way, yâknow?â
âFine, but if you donât tell everyone soon, Iâm going to,â Robin said. âDonât think Iâm the only one whoâs noticed something off with you lately.â
âWhat? What does that mean?â
âEveryone is worried about you, Steve, itâs not just me,â she explained. âDustin was about two seconds away from showing up at your house after you bailed on us last week.â
Steve didnât know that. It sent a lightning bolt of regret through his chest.
âThe faster you two can get your shit together, the better. Iâve been happily cleaning up this mess for you, but Iâm starting to get fucking tired of it, Steve.â Robin looked at her watch. âI was off ten minutes ago.â
She was out the door before Steve could even think up an apology.
Steve and Robin didnât get into fights often, but he absolutely hated it every time they did. Even silly little arguments left him wracked with guilt sometimes, but proper, go-for-the-throat type fights made feel sick.Â
Pair that with the fact that he was making Dustin worry, and Steve felt about ready to hurl.Â
God, this was difficult. Stupidly difficult. Maybe, if he asked nicely, youâd agree to just run away with him so he didnât have to deal with any of it.Â
If he could just pluck up the courage to tell his parents, that would at least be a start. They were the difficult ones, the conversation he was dreading more than any of them, and the wild anxiety ate away at him for the rest of his shift. By the time seven oâclock rolled around and he was finally able to go home, it was entirely all-encompassing.
Fuck it. It had to get done either way, right?
The drive from Family Video to his parents house, no longer than ten minutes, felt as though it stretched across half an eternity. The vicious anxiety ate away at his stomach as he drove, and with each turn, each mile crossed, it only increased. Maybe he should just turn around. Maybe he should go home to you, and his parents could just figure it out on their own. He was sure his dad would love that.
Steve pulled into the driveway and was very close to losing what little nerve he had. He turned off the ignition, this is a bad idea. He got out of the car, this is a bad idea. He walked up to the front door and let himself in, this is a bad idea. Â
He could hear the commotion of his mother making dinner in the kitchen. Something was sizzling; popping and crackling with the smell of onions and garlic, of bell peppers and roasting meat.Â
Steve had lots of reasons to be jealous of other peoplesâ parents, but at least his knew how to cook.
âSteve!â his mother exclaimed once he walked into her view. One hand was occupied by a wooden spoon stirring a pan of vegetables, the other holding a frosty glass of white wine. âI didnât know whether or not to expect you.â
âYou barely even live here anymore,â his father chided from where he was sitting at the counter. His suit coat was off and he had a matching wine glass sitting on the table in front of him. Nine times out of ten, Steveâs parents were able to be amicable with one another. At this point, they acted more like roommates than husband and wife, but at least they were roommates that were able to stand being in the same room as one another. Usually. âDidnât think Iâd get to see you before I left.â
âSit down! Have a drink,â his mother insisted. She pulled another wine glass out of the cabinet and the bottle out of the fridge.Â
âOh, no, Iâm alright,â Steve said as he sat down. His mother poured him the glass anyway.
He was about to ruin a perfectly good dinner, Steve thought to himself. His mother probably poured over it all day. The roast that just got pulled out of the oven was probably expensive.Â
âSo, whatâs been going on with Steve these days?â his father asked him.Â
Now or never.
âI actually wanted to, uh,â Steve stuttered out. âI wanted to talk to you guys.â
âYou didnât crash your car, did you?â his father said, only half joking.
âNo, the carâs fine.â
âIs this about that girl?â his mother asked as she turned the stove down to low, mischief painting her voice.
âGirl? What girl?â His father pointed his gaze over to Meredith.Â
âHe met a girl,â she responded. She seemed almost giddy with excitement.
âFinally,â his father said. He said it like it was a joke, though it didnât feel all that well meaning to Steve.Â
âOh, tell me itâs Giadaâs daughter from down the street,â his mother said. âHave you seen their kitchen? Iâd never have to host another Thanksgiving ever again.â
âNo, itâs not- no.â Steve wasnât even sure he knew who Giada was, let alone her daughter.Â
âWell, at least give us a name, Steve,â his mother said. âIs she cute?â
When Steve said your name, he felt almost like he was condemning you. Like just uttering it strapped you to him, so now youâd both be falling from grace.Â
âThe one who grew up across the street?â his father asked, as if you hadnât known him your whole life.
âOh, thatâs just too sweet!,â his mother exclaimed. âItâs like a movie, ugh! Iâll have to give her mother a call, sheâs going to be thrilled!â
Good luck with that, Steve thought to himself. She wonât even answer the calls from her own daughter. Â
âTook you long enough,â his father said, leaning back in his barstool, lackadaisical.Â
âWhat?â Steve responded. He was wildly unimpressed by his fatherâs haughty attitude.
âYou two have been making googly eyes at each other since you were eight,â he explained. âFrankly, I didnât think you had the balls to do anything about it.â
âRon,â his mother chastised at the choice of words.
âWhat? Obviously, I was wrong.â Ron pointed his gaze back to his son. âYâknow, I think she could be a good influence on you. Steady job, good work ethic. Sheâs a bit of an oddball, though, but I guess with a father like herâs, could you really blame her?â
Leave it to Ronald Harrington to judge other peoplesâ parenting skills while simultaneously insulting his sonâs girlfriend.Â
âDonât be rude,â Meredith said. Her back was now turned to the two men, arms elbow deep in the sink. âSuch a shame her parents moved away, though. I couldnât imagine going that far without bringing your daughter with you. Is she still living on the south side?â
âYep.â
âThatâs not the safest area in town,â she commented. âDid you hear about that house fire down that way? The woman on the news said that it might have been arson. Arson!âÂ
âItâs alright,â he placated. âNot as bad as it used to be, at least.âÂ
âI still donât know if I like the idea of a girl like her living all by herself in an area like that,â she said.Â
âYouâll have to invite her over for dinner once I get back,â his father said, entirely oblivious to the topic of conversation between his wife and son.
There was a moment of silence between the three of them. His mom took a sip of her wine and stuck the meat with a cooking thermometer, his dad refilled his own glass, and Steve felt his stomach do a backflip. This was going poorly.
âIf thereâs something else you have to tell us, you might as well just rip the bandaid off quick.â His father hit the nail on the head, that was for sure. He paused for a moment before making the kind of poorly timed, borderline insulting joke only someone like his father could.Â
âGod, sheâs not pregnant, is she?â
Steve went rigid, and he kept his gaze trained on the swirls in the marble countertop. He didnât say anything, he couldnât bring himself to, so he just left his parents to piece his silence together on their own.
âSteve,â his mother demanded. She had a carving fork gripped tight in her white knuckled fist, planted hard against the edge of the countertop. Steve was pretty sure she was about to stab him with it. He couldnât look either of them in the eye.
âIâm sorry,â he managed to squeak out. He could feel tears beginning to well up in his eyes.Â
âGoddamn it, Steven!â his father exclaimed, slamming his hand onto the counter. It made the glasses rattle. âThis has to be some kind of joke!â
âIâm sorry!â Steve said, louder this time. âFuck, I didnât-â
âDidnât what?â his father asked. âYou didnât mean to? You didnât think it would actually happen?â
âI donât know,â Steve responded. He suddenly felt very small, confronted by his fatherâs booming voice.
His mother stood silent in her spot on the opposite side of the kitchen island, but there were definitely tears running down her cheeks, and anger radiating off of her in horrible waves that Steve wasnât used to.Â
âNo, you donât, because you werenât thinking at all, were you?â His father fumed. He was standing now, towering over Steve despite the fact that the two of them were almost the same in height. âFor Christâs sake, Steven!â
âIâm sorry.â
âYouâll have to marry her-â
âWe already talked about that. She said she wants to wait,â Steve explained quickly.
âNo. No, this is not a question of want, Steven. I donât care about what you want, youâve forfeited that right! You both have!â his father spat back.Â
âIâm not gonna force her to marry me against her will, dad, Iâm not evil!â He shouldnât have said it that way, he knew that. But god, he was mad, and a low blow like that was just as satisfying as he thought it would be.Â
At least this hadnât happened when he was 16. He would have been well and truly fucked if this had happened when he was 16.Â
âYou know what? Maybe this is just the thing you need,â his father snapped.
âWhat?â Steve asked, confused.
âA big mistake for you to finally learn a thing or two.â
Steve wasnât particularly fond of his fatherâs use of the word âmistakeâ.
âI leave for Santa Monica tomorrow morning. Iâll be back in a week,â his father stated. âI want you out of my house before then.â
âRonald,â Meredith broke her silence, exclaiming from behind the tears. Steve knew she wouldnât explode the way his father was doing, but she really looked like she wanted to.
âNo! We have been defending him and making excuses for years, Meredith. Years! If he wants to go play house with his little girlfriend, thatâs fine by me, but heâs not gonna do it under my roof.â He doubled down and turned his gaze back to where Steve was sitting. âI think it's a damn good time for him to learn that his actions come with consequences.â
The older man turned away at that and pulled his keys off of the hook on the wall.
âWhere are you going?â Meredith called after him. He didnât bother with an answer, only walked out and slammed the door behind him.Â
Steve was left alone with his mother, which was simultaneously much better and far worse.Â
âWe were already planning for me to move in with her,â Steve said. If his father had stuck around for a minute longer, he would have been able to explain that to him, too. âShe needed a roommate anyway.â
His mother scoffed and shook her head.
âLook, I know that-â
âYou make it incredibly difficult for me to be on your side sometimes, Steven,â his mother interrupted.
âI know,â Steve agreed. He did know.Â
âI wish I could say that I thought your father was being irrational, but I donât know if I can,â she sighed. âFor once, I think he and I might be on the same page.â
âYou are?â Steve asked. His fatherâs vitriolic anger hadnât come as a surprise, heâd been expecting it, but he thought his mother would be at least a little bit understanding. She always had been before. Steve guessed that this was different, though.Â
âYouâre not going to be able to live in that apartment forever, Steven,â she said.
âI know that.â
âAnd youâll definitely need a better job. I highly doubt your fatherâs previous offer still stands, by the way.â
âI know.â
âDo you?â she asked him. Her voice had a bite to it that he had never been on the receiving end of before. âYouâve been saying âI knowâ for years now, Steve. You know you need to grow up, you know youâll have to move out someday, you know you have to do something with your life, yet you have never made any actual effort to do anything about it!â
âMom, thatâs not true-â
âIf you want to start making big, adult choices like this, youâre going to have to start acting like one. Clearly, youâre not a child anymore.âÂ
His mother untied her apron and tossed it onto the counter before leaving the kitchen, heels clicking on the tile.
Steveâs whole family had been waiting for that thing; that final, fatal event that would break the Hawkins Harringtons for good. Aunts, uncles, cousins, all piecing together whatever bits of gossip they could, knew that the string that tied Steve to his parents was being pulled thinner and thinner and thinner. His mother could only do so much mending for him, and everyone had spent the last few years waiting with bated breath for that string to snap, for Steve to lose his footing. Once it did, he would plummet.
Steve was now standing alone in his childhood home, scissors in hand.Â
Steve didnât know what to do, so he stood up and turned off the stove. He pulled out a tupperware container and boxed up the vegetables. He wrapped the meat in foil and left it out on the counter, because it needed to cool before it could be put away, or else it would screw with the temperature inside the refrigerator. He found a stopper and closed the bottle of wine, placing it in the fridge before gathering the three glasses. His was still full, and he wanted to chug it, but thought better of it and poured it down the drain. He cleaned all of the dishes, dried them, and put them away. He turned off the oven, and wiped down all of the countertops, and neatly hung the towel to dry. He turned off the lights, making sure to leave the one above the stove on as a nightlight.Â
Truly, there wasnât much left of his personal belongings that he really cared about that he hadnât already taken to your apartment. Most of what he needed was already there. He could grab the rest of it when his mother wasnât home; the rest of his clothes, important documents, that kind of thing. What all do you even need to bring with you when you're being forced out of your childhood home, anyway?Â
Later. This was something he could deal with later.
So he left. Unsurprisingly, his fatherâs car was nowhere to be seen. He wanted to keep talking to his mom, to explain himself, to apologize, to say anything, but he knew it would just make it worse than it already was, so he just got into his car and pulled away instead.
He did need a better job. Heâd been needing a better job for a while now, actually, but he definitely needed a better job now. And his mother was right, there was no way he would be able to work for his dad after that.Â
He wished he was able to explain to his parents that hey, funny story, due to atrocities he wonât be explaining right now, the government actually gave him a frankly absurd amount of money a few years ago, and heâd be alright for a while. It wouldnât last forever, but it was enough to keep the pair of you afloat, especially with yours, too. You had used a bit of it on rent right after your parents had left, but Steveâs money sat mostly untouched in a bank account his family didnât know he had.Â
See, the thing about government hush money is that you canât just go out and spend it on something wild, because then people are going to ask where it came from. Believe him, if he had been able to go out and buy some fancy sports car or a bunch of designer clothes, he would have. His father would have told him to buy a nice watch and invest the rest of it (Steve wasnât entirely sure what that actually meant, or how to even go about doing it). He was just grateful to have it right now.
He could put a down payment on a house for you and him. That seemed like something a responsible adult would do with it, right?
Steve pulled up to your building and was shocked with how well heâd held it together up until this point, because he felt like he was going to explode. When he got to your floor and walked into your apartment, you were sitting on the floor between the sofa and the coffee table, textbooks and paper spread before you. The sound of him walking in pulled you away from your schoolwork and when you turned to look at Steve, you were clearly upset.
âYou told me you were off more than an hour ago!â you said as you wiggled out from behind the table and stood up. âI was starting to get really worried, Steve, where were you?â
âI, uhm,â Steve started. He felt his voice crack, the sting of tears beginning to well in his eyes. He had to keep his shit together, for your sake.
âDid something happen?â you asked him. You brought your hands up to the sides of his face, and there went any chance of him keeping it together.Â
âI told my parents,â he confessed. He was not going to cry in front of you. He wasnât.
âWhat?â you questioned. You sounded a little bit hurt that he did it without asking you, but mostly just horribly concerned. âI thought we agreed to wait.â
âWe did, but it was eating away at me, and I just couldnât sit on it anymore, and-â The floodgates broke and Steveâs words were cut off by a strained sob.Â
âOh, Stevie.â You pulled him into a hug and Steve wanted nothing more than for these stupid tears to just dry up, but it felt like weeks and weeks of pent up worry and fear were being pulled to the surface, and he didnât have it in him to try and stop any of it. He was supposed to be the strong one for you, but Jesus Christ, that was difficult. âIt was bad?â
âWell, they kicked me out,â Steve said.
âWhat?â
âWhich, I mean, my dadâs right. I barely even live there anymore, so I guess it doesnât really even matter,â he rambled out, wiping his nose on his sleeve like a child.
âYes, it does,â you assured him.
âAnd Iâm pretty sure that this is my mother's worst nightmare, so I donât know why I didnât expect her to be pissed.â
âIâm sorry,â you said. You pulled Steve towards the couch and carefully lowered onto the cushions, your grasp on his wrists bringing him down to your side.Â
âAnd Robin and I got into a fight, too.â
âYou didnât tell her, did you?â you questioned.
âNo, but I think if I donât do it soon, she might disown me,â he admits.Â
âSheâs not going to disown you,â you protested. âSheâd never do that.â
âMy parents just did,â Steve lamented. âMy mother just did. Whoâs to say Robin isnât next, huh?â
Steve would never, ever be able to make his father proud, because his father would never, ever let him even get close. He had known that for a long time, and maybe there was a part of him that was relieved by that. He knew that it was an entirely unattainable goal, so he never really bothered to reach for it. His mother, oh so cruelly, always made sure Steve knew that he could do great things. Why did she have to go and do that? Steve knew his mother held him to a high bar, he just hadnât ever considered the possibility that he wouldnât be able to jump high enough.
So maybe thatâs why it hurt so badly when you curled into him that night when he finally crawled into bed. Maybe thatâs why he called into work the next day, even though he knew it would probably make Robin totally freak out. Maybe thatâs why he waited until he saw his motherâs car leave the driveway before going into his - what used to be his- house to box up the last of his things.
Maybe thatâs why he missed the Hawkins Police Department truck parked outside of your apartment building when he was bringing groceries inside a handful of days later.Â
âIâm back!â he called into your apartment after releasing the wildly heavy grocery bags onto the kitchen counter. Making more than one trip is for suckers. âThey didnât have any pineapple juice, so I just got a pineapple, figured it canât be too hard to just-â
Steve cut himself off when he looked up from the paper bags to see more than just you sitting in the living room; Joyce was sitting on your left with an arm wrapped protectively over your shoulders, Robin on your right with her legs pulled up underneath her and a tissue box in her lap, and Hopper was propped up on the arm of the couch. You were in the middle of the array, in tears.Â
âHello,â Steve nervously greeted, eyes wide as frisbees and blood running cold.
There was absolutely no universe in which this went well.
Robinâs expression, which had clearly been soft and sympathetic before Steve had interrupted them, quickly changed into anger. She shot up from the couch, earning her a disapproving tut from Joyce and making you wince away from her. It took her three wide stomps to cross the small space and grab onto Steveâs wrist with more strength than he knew she had in her.
âOw, Robin!â Steve complained as she dragged him out into the hallway. She slammed the door hard behind her and it made Steve jump.
âWhat the fuck, Steve!â she demanded.
âRobin-â
âI mean, seriously, what the fuck!â Steve could already hear the noise complaints from the neighbors as she chastised him. âYou lied to me!â
âI-â didnât, is what he wanted to say, but he knew better than that. âIâm sorry.â
âHow long have you two been back together then?â she questioned. Steve really didnât want to admit it. âHow long?â
âSix months,â he replied, sheepishly.
âSix months?!â Robin shrieked in disbelief. âJesus Christ, you really did lie to me!â
âRobin,â Steve said, hushed and ashamed and really fucking mad at himself.
âFor half a year! You lied to me for half a year!â
âIâm sorry!â
âShe had to turn down her job offer from the school,â Robin barked.Â
âI know that.â
âThe job that sheâs been talking about for, oh I donât know, six months? Probably more than that, actually!â
âI know, Robin, alright?â Steve assured her and crossed his arms across his chest. âYou think I donât? I am highly aware of that!â
âAnd, Iâm sorry, but youâre far from the King of Responsibility!â Robin said.Â
âWhat does that mean?!â Steve questioned, a tint of frustration layered over his words.Â
âIâm just saying, you arenât exactly known for your maturity,â she spat.
âYou think we wouldnât be able to take care of-â
âShe can. I know she can. Sheâs more than capable of doing whatever the hell she puts her mind to, but you?â Anger and resentment dripped from her mouth with each word. âYou, Iâm honestly not sure. If you were more willing to lie to my face for six months than you were to just tell me the fucking truth, Iâm sorry, but thatâs really winning you any responsible adult points, is it?â
Tears pricked behind Steveâs eyes. He wanted to yell, to scream at the top of his lungs that, no, Robin, youâre wrong, I can do this!, but he really wasnât sure if it was true. If his closest friend, one of the people he trusted most in the whole world, really thought that he wouldnât be able to do this, then maybe sheâs right, right?
The apartment door next to Steve slowly creeped open.
âEverything alright out here?â Hopper asked, carefully planting himself just slightly between Steve and Robin.Â
Robin lost her vitriol like a tea kettle after the burner got turned off, leaving her with no more steam to fuel what she needed to say.Â
âIâm waiting out in the car,â she muttered as she whizzed past Steve and turned down the stairwell. The two men in the hall listened to her descending footsteps. Once they heard the front door open and slam back shut, Jim broke through the quiet.
âRobin wanted me to check up on you after you called out,â Jim explained. âShe was worried you were mad at her, after your fight.â
âRight,â Steve said.
âSo, imagine my surprise when your mom answers the door, only to tell me that you donât live there anymore,â the older man said. âShe wouldnât tell me why, just gave me an address and shut the door.â
âLook, if youâre here to give me another angry dad talk, then you donât have to bother. Mine did a pretty damn good job all on his own,â Steve asserted.Â
âIâm not here to be angry.â Steve could tell that Hopper was choosing his words very, very carefully.
âOh, thatâs unlike you,â Steve commented, arms still crossed and eyes on the floor.
âDonât be shitty!â Jim snapped. Steve withered.
âSorry,â he muttered, still not able to look the man in the eyes. Jim just sighed.
âDo you have a plan, Steve?â he asked.Â
âYes. No,â Steve replied. âI donât know. She seems to have one.â
âOh, yeah?â
âIâm just not sure if I fit in it,â Steve confessed.
âOh, Jesus Christ,â Jim huffed. âMaybe you do need another angry dad talk!â
âWhat do you want me to say?â Steve interrogated. âThat everything is under control and totally normal? I have no idea whatâs going to happen! None! And, honestly? Iâm fucking terrified, Hopper!âÂ
âSteve-â
âI have to be good at this. I have to! Because I wouldnât be able to live with myself if Iâm not, but I am so terrified that I wonât be able to, and Iâm going to let her down, and I canât do that!â It all came out as some sort of paranoia fueled stream of consciousness. âIâd rather die than be anything like my dad, but what if itâs just in my blood? Like, Iâm just predestined to turn out just as shitty as him!â
âYou definitely wonât,â Jim said, as if it were just a simple fact. âI can assure you, there are very few people on this earth as shitty as your father, and you are not one of them.â
Jim wasnât overly fond of Ronald Harrington; he was an all-around asshole to most people he met.
âLook, as much as I hate to admit it, you two arenât kids anymore,â Hop said. âYouâre grownups, you two are smart. You can make your own choices. If this is the choice you two wanna make, then make it.â
âYouâre making it sound so simple,â Steve snarked. Â
âIt kind of is,â the chief replied.Â
âReally? Because this feels like the least simple thing thatâs ever happened to me,â Steve said. âYouâre really not mad?â
âWell, Iâm not thrilled,â Hopper grumbled. âBut, like I said. You two are grownups. You can do whatever the hell you want.â
The pair stood in silence for a moment. Steve knew that Hop was more than likely lying about how mad he was, though he had been preparing himself for Jim to completely lose it on him. He probably would have deserved it.Â
âDoes it ever get less terrifying?â Steve asked, genuinely wanting to know.
âNope.â
âThatâs reassuring.â
âAnd itâs not just the fun parts,â Jim added.
âI know,â Steve responded.
âItâs more than just tiny socks and decorating the nursery.â
âI know that.âÂ
âJust makinâ sure.â Jim was far from happy, but he gave Steve a nod and a pat on the back, which was as close to congratulations as he was going to get. âI know the kids give you a hard time, but youâre smart, and so is she. You two know what youâre doing.â
âThank you.â
âSheâs really, really scared, Steve,â Hopper said. There was something in his voice; a silent question of âdo you really know what it is youâre getting yourself into?â
âI know,â Steve replied.
âYou donât get to panic now, alright?â Jim told him. âAnd you donât get to change your mind.â
âI wonât. I promise,â Steve said; âI do know, and I want all of it.â âI would never do that to her. Never.â
The pair went back inside, and you seemed to be in slightly better spirits now, even if you still had a sea of tears in your eyes. Both you and Joyce turned to face the two men with questions in your eyes, and Jimâs small nod seemed to be enough of an answer for Joyce to shoot off of the couch to envelop Steve in a tight hug.Â
âI have lots of baby things I can bring by for you two,â she gushed after pulling away.
âYou donât have to do that,â you said to her, but she was having none of it.
âDonât worry about it,â Joyce assured. âItâs all just collecting dust anyway.â
Which left Dustin, who in a lot of ways, Steve was the most worried about. He could take the anger from the grownups. Hell, he could take it from Robin, but Dustin, he was less sure about.Â
In true Henderson fashion, he found out about Baby Harrington a few days later, entirely by mistake.
âI still donât understand why they kicked you out in the first place,â Dustin stated from his spot on the living room floor of your (Steveâs!) apartment. He was digging through a pile of old clothes Steve decided he no longer needed. He had a lot of things, heâd realized while moving in, and he really only wanted a few of them, needed even less. He would donate whatever went unclaimed, but Dustin wanted first dibs for himself.Â
âBecause theyâre assholes,â Steve responded.Â
âOkay, yeah, fair, but hasnât Robin been begging you to get a place with her for, like, a year?âÂ
âItâs not like I was able to really take my time apartment hunting.â
âI still feel like crashing on Robinâs couch for a while wouldâve made more sense than moving in here,â Dustin supplied. Steve rolled his eyes.
âI needed an apartment, she needed a roommate, thatâs it. Alright?â Steve loved Dustin like a little brother, but good lord, he could be obnoxious sometimes. âNow pick out what you want so I can clean this shit up.â
Dustin finished his haul, though he grumbled about how Steve was rushing him the whole time, and gathered the previously neatly folded clothes into a messy pile.
âI didnât think of how I was gonna get any of this stuff out to the car.â Dustin, at not- quite- eighteen years old, had finally gotten his drivers license. âThank god,â Steve had remarked, âthat I donât have to be your fucking chauffeur anymore.â That sentiment only lasted a little while, though, as it quickly became clear that a drivers license meant that Dustin could come and bother Steve whenever he wanted to. And he wanted to all the time. âWill you help me carry it all out?â
âNo, I wonât, because there are more trash bags in the cabinet under the sink.â Steve pointed towards the small kitchen. Dustin got up off the floor, going into the kitchen and checking in seemingly every cupboard you had.
âI said under the sink, dude!â Steve heard the squeaky cabinet hinges open and shut, the rustle of the plastic trash bag.
âSteve?â Dustin called after a moment. The apartment was small, and the only real thing separating the kitchen and living room was a few feet of counter and the floor switching from tile to carpet.
âWhat?â Steve responded, not bothering to look up from the clothes he was shoveling back into their own trash bag.Â
âWhatâs this?â Dustin asked him. When Steve finally looked up at him, he was pointing towards something on the fridge, and it took Steve a second to realize that what Dustin was referring to was the ultrasound pictures that heâd forgotten to take down.
Well, shit.
Steve rocketed towards the fridge to put them away, but Dustin was faster and grabbed them before he could. The damage was already done.
âDustin, please give me that,â Steve asked.Â
âThis has her last name on it,â the younger boy observed.Â
âPut it down, alright? You werenât supposed to see it in the first place, so just-â
âIs she fucking pregnant?â Dustin demanded.Â
âDustin, please.âÂ
âI didnât think she was dating anyone, though?â the boy thought out loud. âOh, my god, I wonder if itâs someone we know!â
Oh, it definitely is.
âDude, câmon, please just give me the picture.â Remember what Steve said about Dustin being obnoxious?
âWait, why are you moving in with her if sheâs pregnant?â Dustin inquired. âIâm pretty sure that extra bedroom is gonna be pretty occupied in nine months.â
âItâs closer to six, actually,â Steve clarified, and Dustinâs eyes widened. âBut that isnât the point, can you please just-â
âSteve?â the boy asked, tone shifting away from curiosity into something Steve found much more concerning.
âYeah?â Steve sighed.
âWhy did you move in with her?â he asked again, although the way he spoke the words made Steve think Dustin probably already had it figured out.Â
âWhy do you think?â was all Steve could come up with to say.
âOh, my god.â
âDustin-â
âOh, my god!â
âYou cannot tell anyone, okay? This is totally top secret,â Steve begged.
âDid you-? You two-!â Dustin stuttered out. âOh, my god!â
Dustin was about to start hyperventilating and Steve was doing his best to keep that from happening, pulling the glossy image out of Dustinâs hand as if it were made of precious porcelain, when the sound of keys jingling in the door distracted them. Both boys fell into bitter silence as you opened the door and took in the sight in front of you; a very frazzled Steve and a very distressed Dustin.
âHi?â you greeted. âWhatâs going-â
âYouâre fucking pregant?â Dustin exclaimed.
âWhat?â you spat out in response. Steve could tell that your mind was working a mile a minute to come up with a way to cover for yourself. âI-I donât, uhm-â
âI left the sonogram on the fridge by mistake,â Steve confessed. He felt awful. âIâm sorry, it didnât even cross my mind.â
âOh,â you replied. You hadnât moved from your spot in the entryway, hadnât put down your bag or taken off your coat. You just stayed frozen.
âOh, I have so many feelings!â Dustin wheezed, leaning forward. âOh, my god!â
âYeah, youâve mentioned him.â
âYouâre having a fucking baby?â Dustin asked you.
âYes,â you timidly responded, slowly placing your work bag onto the side of the couch.
âWith Steve?!â
âYes,â you said again.
âThat Steve?â Dustin pointed a thumb over his shoulder to where Steve was hovering behind him. âSteve Harrington? Our Steve?â
You nodded. âThat Steve.â
âHoly shit,â the boy breathed out.
âPlease donât be mad,â Steve requested.
âWhat? Mad, why would I be mad?â he asked. âWhoâs mad?â
âWell, so far, everyone,â Steve explained.
âWait, is this why Robinâs not talking to you?â Dustin asked.
âRobinâs not talking to you?â you piped up, concern dripping from your words.Â
Steve hadnât mentioned that part to you yet.Â
Robin had been giving Steve total radio silence ever since she had found out. Even at work, she was refusing to say a single word to him. She went and hid in the bathroom anytime Steve tried to say anything at all, and she had even recruited Keith to be her disinterested, detached middle man and relay VHS-related messages if she really needed to.Â
To say the least, she really hadnât taken it all that well.
âLater?â he said to you, silently begging you to table this conversation for a time when you didnât have a very upset teenager in your kitchen.
Sticky silence fell over the three of you, sealing to Steveâs skin and filling his lungs up in a way he hated. Dustin was the one who peeled through it first.Â
âAre you actually having a baby?â The question was directed to Steve this time. Dustin was wildly expressive, he always had been, and he looked very, very overwhelmed. Steve felt about the same. He just nodded, and it took a second for Dustin to properly process the news.
âGimme the picture again!â Dustin insisted.Â
âNo, dude! We only have a few and-â
âExcuse me, itâs my nephew, I think I get to see the picture if I want to!â
The tension dissolved as soon as the words came out of Dustinâs mouth. Steve had been so, so worried that heâd be mad, madder than Robin was.Â
âHah! See, Dustin thinks itâs a boy, too!â Steve exclaimed to you. Reservation made way for excitement. Like Dustin said, itâs his nephew.
âOh, god, please donât start with this again,â you said, smiling despite the faux exasperation in your voice.
âYou think itâs a girl?â Dustin asked.
âI think,â you say as you shuck off your coat and lean against the counter, across from the boys, âthat Steve is going to get his hopes up about it being a boy, and then be disappointed if it isnât.â
âNot possible,â Steve clarified with a smile. âBesides, you donât have to worry about it because Iâm right, and itâs gonna be a boy.â
Dustin didnât end up leaving until a good few hours later, when Steve noticed how your eyes kept fluttering shut as you leaned against his shoulder. He had to manhandle the boy out the door; he had a seemingly unending vault of questions (âyou guys have been sleeping together this whole time?!â), but you were totally wiped.Â
You really just wanted to just go to bed, but Steve insisted you ate something first, and a mug of soup later, you were practically dead on your feet. He cleaned up any dinner mess (canned soup doesnât really result in any mess, but heâd be damned if you had to put your own dishes into the dishwasher), and sent you off to get ready for an early turn in.Â
Heâd just put the pot away when you summoned him into the bathroom.
âYou alright?â Steve asked, leaning against the doorframe. You were standing in front of the sink in your pajamas. He could smell your mouthwash.
âCome look.â
Steve took a step into the bathroom to sidle up next to you as you pulled the bottom edge of your too-big t-shirt up. Your fingers ever so gently ghosted over your stomach.
âThat wasnât there before,â you asked, tilting your head back against the crook of Steveâs arm to look up at him. âWas it?â
Steve was entranced by your reflection in the mirror, by the way the swell of your tummy absolutely gave you away.Â
âI donât know.â Steve spoke just barely above a whisper, the way he would have if he was standing in a church. You felt like an angel beneath his arm. âI donât think so.â
âI feel like I would have noticed it if it was,â you said, eyes glued to the mirror just as Steveâs were.Â
âDefinitely wouldâve noticed,â Steve quietly gushed. âYou officially have a baby bump.â
Realistically, you still had a couple more weeks before anyone else would actually be able to see it. Still small enough to hide behind your clothes, but absolutely, undoubtedly there.Â
You hummed, and Steve noticed the way you were trying to hide your smile.
âYouâre allowed to be happy about it, you know,â Steve reminded you. Your eyes caught his again, and your small, shy smile grew just a little bit bigger as you pulled his hand away from your hip and placed it firmly against the slope of your tummy. He felt his breath hitch, like the action of touching you was breaking some sort of cardinal law, but he stroked his thumb up and down, up and down across your skin, and you flattened yourself as deeply into his chest as you possibly could. He pressed a kiss to your temple, lingering in the scent of you for as long as he could allow himself to.
His hand stayed glued to you for the remainder of the evening.

can u please write armin being a dilf đđ€
a/n: thank you for the req!! I didn't quite know what to do w this one but I hope you enjoy it anyway⥠english isn't my first language btw so sorry for bad writing
cw/tw: fluff, mentions of nsfw, afab!reader, cursing, you and armin have a child, jealousy (so slight angst?) + comfort (reassuring), pet names, kissing check end for more notes
summary: you get jealous/mad because armin is being "too friendly" w the moms at your child's kindergarten so you give armin the cold shoulder and stop giving him attention! (but armin is not bad at reassuring)
âĄâĄâĄ
he was the hot topic among the mothers at the kindergarten your kid went to.
you couldn't help but overhear the mothers as they called your man hot, how could you not hear? "he's so sexy!" "such a shame he's taken.." "what a man!" they'd whisper knowing damn well you could hear them.
and his friendly and nice personality didn't help the feeling of jealousy that was pooling up in your stomach either. he'd answer their stupid questions and help them in things they'd ask help for. they asked him to help them with things that a five year old kid can do.
you never told him about how you felt about these things but one day it just got too much. one of the mothers who was clearly interested in him asked him to zip the zipper of her dress back up - it had slid a bit too low when she had picked up her child earlier. and on top of that, she had the audacity to slide her hand along his chest, tugging at his tie and whispering "thank you" into his ear when armin helped her.
armin had obviously helped her, not thinking much of it. why would he, he knew he loved you and only you, and according to him the mom's just were friendly and needed help sometimes.
so he didn't quite understand why you were giving him the cold shoulder. you didn't even cuddle up in his arms after a long day at work like you usually would. hell, you didn't even look at him.
he tried to remember what he did wrong but he just couldn't get a hold of it. so he decided to ask you.
âĄâĄâĄ
he knocked on your workroom's door, waiting for you to say if he can come in or not.
you thought it was your child on the other side of the door (since your child was too short to reach the handle) so you got up from your chair and opened the door. you were met with the worried eyes of your husband instead of your child.
you tried closing the door but he was faster and placed his foot in the way.
"love, I just want to talk. is that okay?" he asked.
you hesitated a bit before nodding quickly and opening the door wider and letting him in.
he was quiet for a moment before speaking up. "so, what's up with you? you've been ignoring me for a few days now and I just can't place my finger on it."
you scoffed at him. "you can't place your finger on it? you easily placed your fingers on her, though."
he was confused. "what are you talking about?"
"you haven't noticed how hungrily they look at you? the mother's at kindergarten."
he raised his eyebrow slightly. "I don't know what you're talking about. they're just being friendly and so am I."
"just being friendly? are you serious? they want to fuck you, armin."
he was taken aback by your statement but before he could reply, you continued: "they keep whispering about it knowing damn well I hear them, too. and you let them ask you all those stupid questions and help them with those things they could do themselves!
kenny's mother asked you to zip up her dress two days ago, remember? wasn't zaylin's mother right next to her? she could've helped her but no, kenny's mom decided to ask you instead! you saw how small that dress was, she was obviously trying to seduce you." you kept rambling. he was listening.
"I saw how she tugged at your tie, armin, she would've ripped her clothes off right there and then if there were no people around. do you even love me anymore?"
he gasped at your last statement, looking a bit offended. "of course I love you!"
he didn't say anything for a while after that. he was collecting his thoughts, finally putting the pieces together and understanding why you were mad.
"I'm sorry," he started. "I didn't understand she meant that and now that I think about it, zaylin's mother could've definitely helped her instead of me. I'm glad there were people around, I don't want to see her naked, absolutely not. you're so much more hotter." he said and you tried to find the humor in his eyes. from anyone else, words like that would've seemed like a joke but he would've never joked about that so you believed him.
"I love you more than anything. I'm really glad you told me about how you feel, I swear I'll do better. I won't talk to the mother's anymore unless it's something super important like a child in danger. and I definitely don't want to fuck any of the mom's."
you smiled at the last sentence but wiped your smile away before he could see. you've already forgiven him, but you definitely haven't forgiven the mothers.
"and you're sure about that?" you asked him once more.
"I'm 100% positive about it. I only love you and I only want you." he reassured. and to be honest, he was feeling a bit bold at the moment so he took a step towards you and leaned down to whisper something in your ear.
"I've been inside you plenty of times you know, and nothing could ever beat the feeling. nothing and no one." he smirked.
âĄâĄâĄ
I hope you enjoyed⥠(if you want me to write dilf!armin some other way let me know! (example: headcanons pls keep recommending stuff for me to write
kinda thinking about making a part 2 to this where they do the dirty in a bathroom at the kindergarden parents meeting tbh, I wanna teach the moms a lesson (they wouldn't get caught but they'd definitely know what happened when they see your messy hair and all the lipstick marks on his neck!

DEAD ANGEL
hello guys this is my first post. I want to warn you that English is not my native language, so I translated everything with the help of a translator. if someone is ready to help me translate - my nickname is in Telegram in the profile.
TW: suicide, inappropriate topics
the boy was sitting next to her body on the street. wind, cold and rain. she left this life so early. why didn't she tell him that she was mentally ill? they would cope with all the problems together. he was always ready to be there. why did she behave so selfishly? Tim hugged Y/n's body, hugging her to his chest. he cried like the last bitch. he was looking at her pale face. blood was pouring from her head, and brains were lying on the asphalt. he recalls their first meeting.
«girl was in a hurry to do business. it was rush hour and there were many people on the street. Y/n tripped and pushed Tim.
â I am so sorry! - the girl looked at him guiltily.
â everything is fine, really. are you okay?
â I... yes, everything is fine. sorry again. - they stood for a few seconds looking at each other. Tim couldn't help himself and laughed softly.
â can I know the name of this wonderful girl who bumped into me? - asked the boy with a wide smile. this situation amused him.
â Y/n. and you? - the girl smiled at him too.»
he began to cry even harder. all their moments together were so great... why did she decide to end it all?
«â oh, I'm actually an ordinary girl, I'm unlikely to interest you in anything. - the girl was drinking coffee, leaning against the sofa. it was nice to sit in the cafe. the boy laughed softly.
â ordinary? you are not like that at all. you look incredible and... such an interesting person. damn you are perfect.»
«â have you really not thought about what is the meaning of life at all? faith in the best and hope for a better life. the cyclical nature of history... ok, forget it. stupid thoughts. - girl awkwardly smiled while swinging on the swing.
â there is no single meaning of life for everyone. for example, my meaning of life is you. - Tim was sitting on a nearby swing. he was worried that Y/n was saying such... strange things more and more often»
the last memory is the most painful for Tim. if he could change everything. he wouldn't let her die.
«â sweetheart, I'm at home! you have no idea what happened at training today, you had to see it! - boy took off his shoes and threw the bag with hockey equipment in the corridor. Tim went into the bedroom, only to see a note on the bed instead of Y/n. he tensed. Tim came over and took the note. this moment was exciting.
"if you're reading this, then I've decided to finish what I started. do you remember the day we met? I told you later that I rushed home, it turned out funny. then I hastened to end my life by suicide. all these conversations we have about the meaning of life, what will happen after death, why people commit suicide - it's all yuulo for a reason. I was hoping you'd understand what I'm getting at, but alas... Tim, I really do love you. I was able to live another six months thanks to you. I am grateful to you for everything.
all our photos and our little gifts to each other in a keepsake box. take care of them. love you"
everything went cold inside Tim. he turned the note over and the address was written on the back. he quickly ran to the front door»
Tim scream. screamed in pain. he hoped Aki could hear him. he touched her face with his. he could feel her cold skin. touched her lips with his hot fingers. this is not a dream. he kissed her slowly. her cold lips and his hot lips felt so perfect.

How to Treat Your Husband
-Pairing;Bakugo Katsuki x Fem! Reader
-Synopsis;There are not many people Bakugo has -patience with, well letâs be honest there arenât any people he has patience with. You are an exception to this rule, but what happens when you test the patience he has with you?
-contains; fluff, kisses, established relationship, little angst(not really), insecurities, body negativity, bondage(not really), suggestive themes, language
-wc;1224
-A/N; Bakugo is aged up. Should I do a part 2? Hope you enjoy!
Katsuki Bakugo. The reason for most of your problems and the love of your life, funny, right? You and Bakugo have been married for 3 years, with barely any problems, just the occasional insecurities.
Bakugo, as the CEO of his agency, is busy all the time. Well, at least to you. You're a CEO too, but you think that the amount of time he works is ridiculous and unhealthy.
This weekend he's going on a business trip, the one weekend he had off. Yeah he had off until one of the employees was suddenly "sick" and couldn't go on the trip. Him being the boss he had to step in.
You were so heavily upset. You couldn't believe that after so long he finally had the weekend off, and then *poof* weekend no more. When he told you he couldn't help but feel bad, trying in his own way to comfort you.
"Y/n I know you're really upset but I promise I'll make it up to you," he pleaded.
"And just how would you do that, Bakugo?" You only called him that when you were mad at him.
Groaning at the sudden bitterness Bakugo whined, "Babe come on, you know I love you. I'll be back in a couple days."
With that Bakugo kissed your forehead and left.
Tch whatever, you thought to yourself. How could he just leave like that? It's so easy for him. He can come and go as he pleases, without caring or spending time with me. The person who's supposed to be the love of his life.
I mean did he even love you anymore? You hated to say it but lately, you've been feeling unattractive. Yeah the kiss on your forehead reassured you a little, but at the same time you couldn't help but wonder, am I no longer attractive?
Lately you've been feeling so down, all of your friends seem so much slimmer and prettier in comparison to you. Sometimes you don't even want to bring Bakugo around your friends, even though you know he loves you. But these thoughts keep popping into your head and you can't help but feel like you're not enough.
Maybe it's just my insecurities? Yeah probably over reacting again...but I have gotten a little heavier lately...No Y/n! Shake these thoughts out, Katsuki loves you. He just has work, that's all.
That word, "work" always got in the way. You shoved your insecurities back where they came from and decided that you had enough. You decided you'd ignore Bakugo the whole weekend.
It couldn't be that hard besides he'd be too busy working to even text, you thought. Pressing Bakugo's buttons is never a good idea, and though you knew this you continued with your grudge.
Bakugo actually felt horrible. He tried texting you a few times but you dryly refused his advances.
KitKatđ«: I finished my meeting. I'll do my work today and I can come home in a couple more days.
You: ok.
KitKatđ«:...what did you do today? How was your day?
You: Nothing much. It was fine.
You almost felt scared, you could feel his anger through the phone. He was trying to keep his cool with you but man you were making it hard.
~Bakugo's POV~
Me: Listen Y/n I know you're mad at me and all but you can't just blow me off.
flameđ„: Says who? Last I checked I can do whatever I want, you do it all the time.
Me: Really babe? Come on, I'm really sorry ok?
I knew Y/n would be mad, but I didn't think she'd be this mad. It's taking all of my cool to not flip out. I will admit I have a soft spot for her but damn this woman can be feisty sometimes.
Not that I would ever say this to her but, I honestly think it's hot when she's mad. Which makes her even cuter.
Me: Baby, come on I'll be home in a couple days. Wanna call? Would that make you feel a little better?
Read at 7:41pm
Me: Babe, I understand you're upset, but ignoring me isn't gonna help.
Read at 7:52pm
Me: Are you fucking serious right now Y/n?

~No one's POV~
After you left him on read, multiple times, Bakugo was far more furious than he was before. He normally tried to keep his temper with you, considering you were the love of his life, but one thing he hated was being ignored. More specifically being ignored by you. You didn't care though, after all what could he do about it?
Oh pretty soon you'd see what he'd do about it.
A couple days later Bakugo came back from his trip, to your shared apartment, to find it empty. I mean it was 3:00 so you'd be at work, but the apartment wasn't just empty, it was a mess. Pillows thrown all over, dishes unwashed, trash not taken out. Bakugo was fuming, you knew he hated messes. Most of all he hated cleaning messes.
He quickly sighed to himself before beginning to clean up. He didn't know why he was cleaning up after your mess, that was definitely made on purpose, but he found himself wondering if it wasn't on purpose. We're you just that much of a mess without him? Definitely not, he thought to himself you just did it on purpose.
When you came home to a clean apartment, you were surprised. You thought he would have called you fuming, then it hit you he's home. Holy shit. Shit, shit, shit, shit, shit. I mean what were you gonna do? You hadn't planned how you'd act out when he was there. It was easy over the phone but now he's here!
Shockingly, breaking you from your thoughts a warm embrace engulfed you. What is he doing? Is it some kind of trick? Was he actually sorry? You quickly pushed him off, and he sighed in despair.
"Y/n I need you to work with me here. I get you're upset but I'm actually sorry! You can't just give me the cold shoulder and ignore me!"
"Bakugo I don't have time for this right now, I'm tired."
"Really Y/n?," you couldn't look him in the eyes, but he stared deep into your e/c orbs. When you glanced at him his crimson gaze shifted, as if he had made a decision, one he didn't want to make. A last resort.
"Fine, have it your way" his normal gaze with you left, and an unreadable expression appeared. He pulled you in a swift movement by the arm, dragged you into your shared bedroom, and flung you on the bed.
"Baku-"
"Shut up," Bakugo huffed. Before you knew it he had untied his tie and it was now a restraint on your wrists.
"Man Y/n, I really tried but looks like this is the only way...I'll have to remind you how to treat your husband."
"Bakugo-"
"Ah ah ah," he cut you off. "I'll start with that mouth of yours, I am your husband, you will address me as so."
"B-but"
"Now, what is my name?"
"K-Katsuki," you mumbled.
"I couldn't hear you that well, but don't worry, I'm sure I will very soon."

Damn... sorry for the superlong intro *-*
___________________________________________
Reader's 1st Person POV
I woke up 3 am and looked at my phone just to see three missed calls and an absurd amount of texts from my brother. I can't believe that this man is like forty-something years old and can't even wait till the morning to tell me whatever he wanted to tell me.
Even though I'm tired, I read every single one of the messages. None of them has a real meaning, was like "are you awake?", "i need to talk to you", "it's important!"
Why the fuck he did'nt just tell me what is going on insted of doing this??Â
I called him back and he dropped the news: Gerard Way will spend a whole week in my brother's house!
- Realy?! - I shout at phone
- Yep... he's gonna stay here for a while... don't act like a stoned, please. - i heard a bit of a desperate tone in his voice, like he wasn't kidding.
- What do you mean? - I said, trying not sound offended, even if i was.
- I know you for 25 years, dear... you can't keep MCR lyrics references out of your mouth for too long. - He chuckles.
He's right... i can't, the same way i can't swim, can't dance and i don't know karate.
- I don't know why you think I'm gonna be weird or something... it's not like I'm a fangirl. Not anymore. - I argued.
- Sure... - his sarcasm always makes me mad - By the way, we'll be busy working, so i will need your help here... can you stay with us in my place?
- Yeah, but why do you need me? Don't you think I'm gonna "act like a stoned"?
- Honestly? I KNOW you're gonna be creepy, but I can't cook, and i refuse to buy shitty North American food for Gerard when he's here.Â
- OH, FINE! - I couldn't help but take it as a challenge, I'm gonna be there and act normal, because that's what i am, right? A normal person - I get it. So no cheeseburgers and stuff?Â
- NO! You can cook something nice, right?
- I can try...Â
- Awesome! See ya tomorrow at 8pm in the airport to pick Gerard up. Good night.Â
-Â Bye!Â
Yeah, sure, how the hell does he expect me to sleep? I mean, when I was a teenager, Gerard was my hero. I'm not that kind of fan anymore, but still, I like him so much.Â
Gabriel never introduced us appropriately, probably 'cause I was âthatâ creepy fan, or the long distance between the countries made it impossible for me to travel. Anyways⊠just didn't happen yet.
*** time skip ***
I don't know why, but I just imagined the scene of Gerard going out of the airplane and thousands of paparazzis just screaming and taking pictures of him⊠I was surprised that didn't happen, I know the people here and we can be really crazy sometimes. By the way, Gabriel and I was waiting for him.
Soon, along with several other passengers, We could see him, who was looking for the familiar face of my brother in the crowd. The smile emerged on his face in the moment they made eye contact.Â
Damn this man is so good looking⊠Suddenly I remembered why I had that crush on him.
-Hey, How long, man?! - Gabriel said with a smile as he opened his arms to hug Gerard.
- Hell yeah! How have you been? - That pretty smile still in his face.
- Great! Better now that i know we'll gonna work together again!
I just couldn't stop looking at him⊠I think he noticed, âcause he looked back at me.
-Lemme guess⊠Your sister, right? - The lovely look on his eyes as he extended his hand to greet me made my face burn. - He talks alot about you, I was excited to finally meet you!
- So as I! - I shaked his hand and smile back at him, trying not to overdo it.
- She's A huge fan!Â
The death look I gave Gabriel made Gerard laugh a bit, but not enough to make me feel more embarrassed than I already was. Â
-Well, that's true, but why don't we go home? - i said - You need help with that?Â
I pointed to the two suitcases he was carrying.
-That's fine. I can handle two of them. Thanks! - i swear, his eyes was glowing⊠im not that crazy!Â
We put Gerard's things in the trunk of my brother's car and we went back home.Â
During the way, all I could think about were those hazel eyes and how I felt a connection... it was inexplicable, maybe it's just nonsense in my head. But there's always a âmaybe notâ, right?
Gerard's 1st person POV
I don't know what that was. But THAT was fucking something! The way she look? Maybe, but not just that. don't know!Â
I haven't even talked with her, but I hope we have time to get to know each other well. Because that was something.
At home, Gabriel showed me the office and the room i'll stay in.
He has such a pretty house, and all the pencils, markers, and art stuff get me even more excited to start work. But his sister is still in my mind... The best I can do now is go to sleep, cause all the way in the airplane just stressed me out.
Reader's 1st person POV
First things first, i woke up early to do exactly the thing my brother wants me to do: cook.Â
I was distracted preparing coffee, and heard a familiar voice from the back of the kitchen.
-Morning⊠- Even though his voice was dragging because he had just woken up, he still sounded so good.Â
Gerard sat at the table while I finished preparing breakfast.
- Morning! How was your night? Did you sleep well? - I asked, trying to start a conversation.
- Yeah, really well, and the feeling of waking up with this smell is just amazing! - He smiled, rubbing his eyes.
- I'm glad you like it. - the feeling of relief and joy took over me, I think being normal will be easier than I imaginedâŠ
*** time skip ***
The next two days was normal, just small talks, because the purpose of him coming was not to talk to me, but to work, right? Still, it would be nice to take an hour or two just to talk.
Or not, i keep thinking about the feeling in the airport, i want to feel that again.Â
Gabriel left early this morning to look for who knows what, which ended up making room for a break from work.Â
I was sitting on the couch, watching a rerun of my favorite movie when Gee appeared in the living room and sat next to me.
-Finally a break, hun? - he said, with his usual smile, which by the way I always thought was beautiful - Don't get me wrong, I love to do that, but sometimes Gabe just goes too deep.
- Yeah, I know⊠he is intense. Family thing, I guess⊠- I chuckled and turn the TV off, so we could talk. - Same eyes and same craziness.
We laughed for a moment, but he seemed to concentrate on confirming the similarity between my eyes and my brother's eyes. A shiver went down my spine when the look stopped being critical and became appreciative. It's incredible how artists can vary between technique and feeling.
The situation made me want to kiss him, but I think this is out of the limits, considering his relationship with my brother. I respect that and never gonna do something that could ruin it.Â
- Transcendently impressive⊠- The way he spoke made it seem like he was in some kind of trance. - Your eyes.Â
I gasped in shock. I didnât know what to say. I just stood still, while my breath was panting.
-Thanks! - I pulled from somewhere within me the confidence to thank and return the compliment. - I can say the same about yours, maybe even more.
- I think you're exaggerating, but thank you - I thought the situation would be awkward, but Gee seemed increasingly comfortable with my company. - May I ask you something?
- Sure! - My curiosity barely let him finish the sentence. - Anything.
- Did you feel that at the airport? - He sighed as if taking a huge weight off his chest. - Because i did. Sorry if it sounds weird or...
- Thank God! I thought i was freak out. So there WAS something. - I quickly got up from the couch and practically jumped for joy. - The last days i couldn't barely sleep thinking of you! Well, not YOU but the whole situation and-
It happened so quickly that I couldn't register in my mind when he stood up, even less could I believe that he cut me off with a kiss.Â
-I thought about you too, sugarâŠÂ
Before I could do anything, he kissed me again, that feeling it was becoming clearer and clearer, with every second my lips remained close to his.
The next few days were a bit different⊠not like we just makeout a lot of times, but some quick looks, kisses and conversations. We discovered that we have more in common than we imaginedâŠ
Now, taking advantage of Gerard's last moments here, I decided that I would help him pack his bags, so that we could make, whatever our relationship is, last longer. While we were talking, I couldn't help but notice the t-shirt he was putting on his suitcase.Â
-Oh my god, i didn't notice⊠you brought THE shirt!Â
- What do you mean? - He was confused, but then he looked at the shirt and noticed why.
- âPool Boy At The Vampire Mansionâ shirt⊠it's like THE shirt! Â
- Ya know? Keep it.
- WHAT? I don't think-
- You heard me. - He smiled, in the cutest way a human being can smile.- I want you to keep it. I don't know when we're gonna seen each other again, soâŠÂ
Gerard dropped the shirt in the bed and got closer to me, placing his hands on my waist and, getting even closer, he pressed his lips to mine gently. The kiss became deep as we let ourselves be carried away by the heat of the moment.Â
-This week was perfect. - He said, placing his hand on my cheek and looking into my eyes. - I wish it didn't end now. You know, sugar, I think we could work out⊠be something.Â
- I'm sure that we can make it happend- I wrapped my arms around his neck, pulling him into a kiss even more intense than the last. The feeling of hope made it seem like time would stop at that moment.Â
~ That's it. Hope u enjoyed :)

Spinning the Whump Wheel - Part 2
The Wheel chose...
Drugged!
I've been itching to write more Angel Dust whump so that's what I'm gonna do. This takes place somewhere around the end of season 1 but before the battle.
// forced drugging, Angel-typical sexual content including non-con mentions, Valentino (i just found out that "#tw valentino" is a real tag and that's hilarious to me), some offensive/ableist language
~~~
It had taken many hours of puppy-dog eyes from Charlie, but Angel had eventually agreed to commit to getting sober for good. It hadn't been easy. The withdrawals were a bitch at their best and near-deadly at their worst, but somehow he had survived the worst of it and is now going on two months sober.
The thing is, Angel's job is way harder when he's actually aware of what's going on.
It used to be so easy to get in front of the camera and let himself get carried away just playing whatever role was assigned to him. Now, Angel can't stop getting distracted by anything and everything.
Wait... I'm being too loud, aren't I? Should I save it for the climax? Wait, now I'm too quiet. What is my face doing? Ugh, that light is blinding me. Oh good, I'm finally going numb down there. That'll make things easier. Hang on, has this guy always been this damn ugly? It doesn't matter, no one's looking at him anyway. They're looking at me, shit. Pay attention! Face. Legs. Tits. That's it. I'm nailing it now. Or, am I getting nailed? Haha, good one Angel.
"Cut!"
Angel freezes. The actor on top of him pulls out and lets go of his throat, sitting back on his heels.
Behind the wall of lights and cameras, Valentino rises to his feet. He stalks over to the bed, and Angel feels himself shrinking into the blankets.
"Something wrong, Val?"
Valentino huffs. "Are you seriously asking me that right now?"
Shrinking back even more, Angel can only nod meekly.
"You've had off days before, Dust, but this?" He gestures at Agnel with disgust. "We've got hours of footage and I can't use any of it! It's all shit! Why're you being such a spaz today?!"
"I... uh..." Damn, Valentino is so much scarier while Angel is sober.
"Now you can't even talk right! What the fuck is wrong with you?!"
"I-I'm sorry, Val! I'm just... I've been tryin to get clean and it's messin with my head. That's all it is."
That explanation seems to piss the overlord off even more. "You're fucking sober?!"
Angel nods, averting his eyes.
Valentino visibly forces himself to calm down, a cold, unnerving smile settling onto his face. "Well, why didn't you just say so, baby? That's an easy fix."
Angel's gaze snaps up to his boss. "Huh?"
Then Val's hand is grabbing him roughly by the chin and pulling him close. "Here you go, baby." With a wave of his hand, Val summons a few pills.
"Oh- uh... No thank you." Angel tries to back away but Val keeps a tight grip on his face, squeezing hard enough for his mouth to pucker open.
"What'd you say? I can't understand you," Val says, his voice getting darker by the second. "It almost sounded like you were refusing my gifts, but that would be absurd, wouldn't it?"
"Val-"
Valentino takes the opportunity to shove the pills into Angel's open mouth. Then he slaps a hand over his lips, keeping him from spitting them out.
"Swallow," he growls.
Angel does it before he can even think about resisting. There's some stupid part of him that wants this. Wants the excuse to be high again. He can go back to Charlie crying about "he made me do it!" and "it wasn't my fault!" and then she can't get mad at him.
But he'd worked so hard...
Val releases him and shoves him back onto the bed, then turns him so he's laying on his right side. Angel knows what he's doing. The drugs will kick in faster this way.
"Keep shooting," Val says nonchalantly as he retreats back behind the wall of camera equipment.
Angel squeezes his eyes shut as he feels hands on his body once again.
Sorry Charlie. Maybe next time.
