Whichever character possesses me lmao. Honestly though it really is down to motivation at the time. I try to stay on See Fire somewhat regularly because that's my dedicated long fic, and then hop between shorter ones at will

Bethany’s face is blotchy and wet, and Ariel uses a sleeve to wipe at her cheeks until Bethany pushes it away.  “It’s not fair,” she says. “Why does Carver get a soulmate?”  “He just does,” Ariel replies simply. “Now some poor girl out there has to spend her whole life with his handwriting stuck on her. I wish her luck.”  Bethany laughs a little, which Ariel was hoping for, but it’s so weak and short-lived it barely counts. She falls right back into the same pensive frown once it's dead. “Sister Catharine says the Maker gives people the marks. I have playlists for all my characters but I absolutely cannot listen to music with lyrics while writing, so I just put on those hour long youtube "fantasy writing music" compilations

I usually work in canon or canon-divergence. I've tried a couple full scale AUs and while they're fun to think about, they're not something I'll actually write

I have a particular little thing where I list improperly to make things sound more dramatic or funny. I say "A and B and C" instead of "A, B, and C". I'm not gonna stop doing this any time soon but it is funny because I work as a writing tutor at a college and I have to tell students to stop doing this all the time!

You shake your head, coughing briefly before smiling at him with blood-stained teeth. What? "We're too similar, Suguru." Why are you bleeding? What's going on? "Neither of us want to give up."

Slowly, your fingers release the fist you've been holding for the past few minutes, revealing a pile of small blue petals. A shade of blue that Geto is all too familiar with, having stared at the color for a majority of his teenage years in his best friend's eyes. It's a color that most associate with hope and prosperity— not knowing that it's also directly associated with your inevitable death.

Gojo Satoru is the most powerful man in the world; and you're the most powerless woman for loving him.

He feels himself crawling towards you, ignoring the piles of bloodied petals decaying on your bedroom floor, and ever-so-gently touches your cheek. Geto wishes he could wipe your tears and never see you cry again. Someone so beautiful shouldn't feel sadness. It isn't right.

"I love you." he whispers, gaze settled on your scarlet lips.

Say it back.

"Please." he leans in closer.

Just let him show you how perfect you are.

"I would never hurt you."

"This isn't what I want!" His heart breaks in two at the sound of your cry. It isn't Gojo that's making you miserable, right now it's him. Geto, himself, is the cause of your pain and if he could he'd rip his own mouth off to get him to stop talking he would. "Suguru, I don't want you. Please understand!"

You continue sobbing and Geto can't stop the flow of tears no matter how hard he tries. "I wish I loved you, I want to so badly, but it's always going to be Satoru!"

His stare is so focused that he can see the budding blossoms at the back of your throat, threatening to grow and shrivel up your heart with their thorns. The pain that you feel every day is likely unbearable, as if your entire body is being ripped in two due to the utter devastation of pure heartbreak. Geto would know. He feels it every day, too. He's felt it every day for the last two years of knowing you and he's surprised that he hasn't succumbed to the garden already. Just wither and die. Please just go away! His pleas are so loud, overtaking his every thought, that he doesn't know if he's wishing away the spider lilies or himself.

"If it's always him," his chest feels heavy; it's almost an all-consuming fire using his blood as oil, "then we both know what's going to happen to us."

You nod, whimpering slightly as you bite back your tears.

He can't believe this is how it's all ending.

Somehow, his head finds its resting place against yours.

He was so confident you'd be able to feel the same.

The vines crawl to his tongue, attempting to snare and take hold of his ability to speak— but not before he can utter his last words.

As for the dark themes, its based off DC so I can't promise that not coming up as for trigger warnings, I'm not the best at them but I do try to put them before any part that has things in them so that's a given. But for the most part the only ones of these I see happening is the dark themes and those would mostly be the normal Gotham things.

Ever since I got this, it was one of the first so its been a little while. I keep wondering if its a threat? But again, pets dying isn't planned. I should have enough to go for plot so that there is no need to kill pets.

The only problem with batcow, is pinterest doesn't have many pictures of cows that look like they could be pets because there are rarely people with them so thats why batcow hasn't shown up. Since I have more time to plan this one, I'll look for more options and see if I can find any.

No, simply because I'm not comfortable writing it as the main relationship/character. I've tried before and I didn't like it in the least and scrapped a week work. So If I tried I doubt I would finish it, if I did, it wouldn't be good because I would probably just give up part way through. So I can definitely do ships and all that that aren't the main but for some reason every time I've tried to do it as a main relationship, I hate it. Sorry!

I'm actually planning for more poc to happen in the current one. I noticed lack of poc not long ago and confused myself as to why so there will definitely be more representation.
