People erasing Asha's attraction to/relationships with men because she's a non-conforming woman is very weird (i.e. homophobic and misogynistic)
#asha greyjoy#it's so frustrating that people ignore part of her character because they don't think it /fits/ with her nonconformity#if you want to make queer headcanons about her you can just say she's bisexual! it's right there and doesn't disrespect her character#makes me even more appreciative that George writes several of his non-conforming female character with love interests#and gives them nuances without just writing any of them as flat/basic stereotypes#the show had an influence but I see this even from book only readers and it always leaves a nasty taste in my mouth#sorry but saying that Asha has to be a lesbian because she's masculine/non-conforming is just insane logic
