I really do wonder where this idk more lax attitude about misogyny and patriarchy started happening? Not to say that people haven't been pretty lax about it as it is but it just feels like people are even less willing to call something misogyny or a symptom of patriarchy despite the slight progress I saw in at least leftist or more progressive spaces to do so. I have my theories but it feels like one big ol tangled web of reasons that's hard to make sense of.

#something something terfs making some of these conversations hard without them coattailing them for their agenda #something something we still need to remember that despite the awesome spaces some of us have where gender #is questioned and free flowing we have to have awareness that a more general space and in the world #whoever is perceived as a woman is still subject to misogyny and patriarchy #something something alot of you dont understand how complex woc and non binary pocs relationships with womanhood is #so you just dont see us as women and dont take into account that we too are victims of misogyny and patriarchy #i could go on
