The moon is beautiful tonight
#It is a waning crescent & is hardly visible#It will be a new moon either tomorrow night or the night after#How does a rock in space manage to be so ethereal and magnificent is beyond me#she is utterly breathtaking#something about how she never changes even after all of these years#while the Earth which we live on continues to shift#Life ebbs and flows#The cycles continue yet each one is different in it's own beautiful and unique way#something about how the moon's cycles remain unchanging and predictable is oddly comforting#she is odd but beautiful in her own way#as everything is#I am not usually strangely poetic#I have merely been feeling somewhat odd recently
