the thing about the colors i assign my manifesting familiarity ocs is that sometimes they are vibes and sometimes they are magic or eye colors but also there are exceptions as well.

theres a decent precedent of eye colors matching magic colors, but its not a hard and fast rule in universe. somewhat implied in comic that magic colors are associated with certain personalities, similar to birthdays and horoscopes (which to some people are very real, or to some, complete bullshit). and people's eye colors are a wider variety of colors (like yellows, oranges, red, purples, etc) to match. which are also associated with how ppl perceive others (like how ppl view blue eyes vs brown eyes).

its usually more conventionally attractive to have matching eye and magic colors (and people tend to love or hate their eye/magic colors, which influences how they dress or buy things), but its not guaranteed. kind of like expecting how someones voice will sound like, and being surprised when it doesnt match your expectation.

another category ppl like to create is the shape of someones magic, altho this is less popular in the port's culture. other places around the world may hold that higher above color. i think humans like the idea of fate and meanings.

anyway the reason im talking about it is that its fun to talk about in universe lore that kind of got explained, but also has not much stake in the story, but is kind of in the background, as there is a budding new culture around magic and sprites. heres that random google image ass diagram tate found online about magic. fun to notice that there isnt all colors available, and its kind of vague. i referenced color symbolism/flower meanings diagrams when making it lmao
