For REAL, A RELIGIOUS EXPERIENCE.
Also, once again Fanny outdid the original artists on this cover...which is PRACTICALLY IMPOSSIBLE given that the original artists are Tina and Ike Turner! (But you can see the effort they're all giving - Jean Millington on vocals, especially, to match the vocal effort of rock goddess Tina Turner. The interplay of hard rock guitar by June Millington and Nickey Barclay's funk organ goes marvelously far beyond whatever Ike Turner/Kings of Rhythm did. And do I even need to mention how fucking solid Alice de Buhr on drums is? A drum goddess if I've ever seen one!)
I will warn you now, if you have not seen this before, and if you are in the mood to all-out rock: prepare yourselves. I can guarantee you are not prepared to actually hear (let alone to see) how good this is. (Hence it being...a religious experience...)

PERIOD! OF ANYONE ANYWHERE.#it still boggles my mind that Fanny ate up the original versions of pretty much every single cover they ever did.#even if they struggled vocally on some of them (NOT THIS ONE THOUGH) musically/instrumentally their covers are all still monsters.#it's insane. I will never be over how fucking good this band is. never!!#Youtube
