Hi ghost it's me the girl formally known as guitar anon, also formally known as a girlfriend.

So we broke up a little over a month ago. There was this whole drama with his parents and money that I don't know the whole story about. He either left their place or got kicked out I'm not sure. This all happened the day after me and him went to a concert together and I really thought everything was fine. Jokes on me I guess 🙃

But I'm telling him that he can stay at my place with me and my parents until he figures something out bc at that time I'm just freaking the fuck out and feel like my world is crashing down. Little did I know. Cause like 3 days later he's like hey I can't handle being in a relationship while I deal with all this. And like I get it. It's fucking stressful. But like all I wanted to do was help him and I felt helpless.

We still talk somewhat frequently. Less so now. He gets an apartment. He talks to his parents again. It's been like two weeks and I can barely function. He invites me to his housewarming party (which was last night). I wanted to go but I didn't want to go but I knew if I didn't I'd feel worse thinking about the what ifs. So I trudge through my shit show of a life for two more weeks and make it to yesterday.

I go with the friend that set us up and her husband. His parents are there. That hurt more than I thought it would bc I never thought I'd see them again and I somehow got it into my head that they'd be mad at me. I walk in the door and his mom is like oh I missed you and hugs me and I hug her so hard bc I literally dreamt about her a few days ago telling me that everything would be okay. I tell her I miss her too. She says maybe me and her son can get back together soon. Me and him just look at each other. Later I get so drunk I throw up. Sometime when this is happening his dad tells my friend that he's so pissed that his son broke it off with me bc I am a nice girl. They probably felt bad bc I was puking up my guts at the time too. Which I have never done before so I guess that was another first I can check off.

When we leave I hug him and tell him I miss him and he says he knows. And he says to tell my parents hi and I say well neither of them wanted me to come tonight and I couldn't quite read his face he was either upset or pissed off but I'm not gonna lie it kind of made me happy.

I don't know what to do bc I was going to tell him I loved him. And then he broke up with me but he still wants me around. Mostly. And it's drudged up a bunch of issues I thought I had dealt with and I can't think of anything else and it's driving me insane. I just don't know when to quit bc I don't want to bc we were fine and then we weren't and nothing even happened. I'm sorry if this is too much and too depressing but I went to you with all the fun stuff so you can have some of the sad too.

i can sort of understand the whole "maybe i shouldn't be in a relationship while my life is crashing down", but it also just sounds like a panicked decision on his part?? part of a relationship is being there for someone through good and bad, being there for the other person when shit goes down. the downfall, of course, is that you can't force someone to let you be there for that. if someone doesn't want support, it can be nearly impossible to force it upon them, y'know?

i think if it keeps on affecting you negatively, at some point, you've got to set that boundary for yourself as well. if he's allowed to set his boundaries, so are you.

do not set yourself on fire to keep anyone else warm, no matter how much you love them - that is the best advice i've ever received.

Love love love unwanted soul soo much. I really wonder, does the rest of the residents NEVER ask anything about reader and alastor's relationship?? Like even if they're scared of him and that he always insisted that they just have a normal boss-employee relationship, they're way too close. Mostly because reader has passed all of Al's personal space.

I think Husk would be the most suspicious about it, since he is one of the souls Al owns. And the way reader casually orders and asks Al to do lots of things. But Vaggie would be braver to confront Alastor. Maybe Charlie would probably also ask more, because she wants reader to participate more and Al to not give them too much work load even though they don't look tired at all. And more suspicion would arise because how does reader have connection to Lucifer as well??

Haha~ Curious about others' reaction huh? They asked. But I only did minor parts about their involvement because the focus was on the Reader/you and Alastor.

An ask similar to this one has been answered, but this is them knowing your relationship.

Everyone notice you being extremely close to Alastor, even when it's strictly labelled as boss and worker. They know it's not normal because you were too chill with Alastor and Alastor was too lenient to you as well.

They questioned and got suspicious of your sudden appearance. Even more when you had a connection with Lucifer. The King of Hell's former informant is working for Alastor? What's going on???

The only one to see you before your introduction was Husk. He saw you in the room Alastor claimed as extra, that room was already decorated like you lived there for a while. It was way too cozy. He is also the only one to see you directly ordering (asking) Alastor to do something and he went as told. He would have labeled you to be the one holding Alastor's leash, but you said Alastor was the one to bring you here. (technically it's not a lie) Then there was your weak aura and power levels. No way someone like you can bring down Alastor. When you had a former business relationship with Lucifer, he was pointing you to be the owner of Alastor's soul, even when it was unlikely.

Husk can read people like an open book, right? He can do the same to you and he knew you were a wild card, perhaps another worse case like Niffty's. But, he doesn't question it. Because if you were to feel threatened by Husk, Alastor would do something to him. It wasn't worth it.

Niffty doesn't question it at all. More demons in the hotel! That's it. A friend of Alastor's a friend of hers.

Angel also doesn't question it. Though he does mimick what you do to get Alastor to react the same. When it's different, he whines about it and makes a scene. Only for Alastor to say you have more leniency because you were his employee and he had his duty as employer to keep. That mostly shuts Angel up.

Vaggie is the one to voice out her concerns for your lack of presence to Alastor without fear. Demanding that you work out in the open and not behind closed doors. Mostly, you weren't there to hear this and heard it from Alastor. On the rare moments that you were, you'd say it's up to Alastor to assign you where you work and not her or Charlie. Alastor handles from there on out. He puts the employer and employee card on the table and always got Vaggie to back down. She can't do much when you didn't object to Alastor's words and nodded along. When Vaggie questions what Alastor does, you step in to tell Vaggie it wasn't her business, as long as it wasn't to harm or threaten the hotel and Charlie's dream. Last resort, Alastor (through your approval) threatens to leave the project and bringing along Husk and Niffty too.

Charlie is another one that's questioning too much. You were the newest member but you were barely around. Even though Alastor doesn't join and he's under no obligation to. You can join. I mean, Husk and Niffty joins too. One loophole though, you weren't like those two, you were to work under Alastor as his assistant of sorts. You weren't under Charlie's command. So she had no power over where you were stationed. You and Alastor used this little detail to your advantage. Charlie always bring up new ideas and excuses to get you to join them, but you were rare present and Alastor was a wall she can't overcome. Too perfect for the two of you.

The fact that you were that close with Alastor raises a lot of questions, and Alastor doing things for you? Even more questions and suspicion as well. But Alastor is capable of protecting you from prying eyes and nosy demons like this group. You staying in the hotel wasn't a must, but an interest. Anymore annoyance and you'll be gone. So will Alastor.

Bird: Neither of them is possessive, at least they don't want to be. Sure, there's thoughts of it at times, flits of jealousy they can't turn off, but they don't want to be the sorts of bots that would act on such impulses. If the other wanted to leave, that'd be their right, and they would accept it.

Bird barely even tried to stop Prowl when he did leave in the end. She didn't just accept it wordlessly, but she understood. Sometimes other things are more important than your personal feelings.

Skyline: Skyline wouldn't stop D-16 from leaving if he wanted to. What's the point of being with someone who doesn't want to be there too? She deeply hopes it'll never happen, but if it did and he were sure, she'd be mature enough to accept it.

D-16 meanwhile still half-expects Skyline to drop him at any moment, so he wouldn't be surprised, and certainly wouldn't hope to be able to change her mind. He's hardly got much to offer her (he does if you ask her, but that's beside the point).

That said, Skyline does like to, in a way, "lay claim to him" a lot, through simple things like putting an arm around him or having him sit on her lap (they make the size difference work in their favor)(I wonder how long it'll take Megatron to accept that he can't do that anymore). She hates that they have to hide their relationship, and if she could be, she'd be so obnoxious with the PDA. Everyone needs to be aware that he's hers, because 1) look how she scored!! and 2) don't you touch him. She trusts him enough not to be jealous when he's hanging out with friends/other miners, but if someone were to openly flirt with him, they'd have to take it up with her!

Oh and if you ever try to take her from Megatron, it'll be the last thing you ever did. He won't even let her get her wings fixed to make sure she can't leave him, even if she wouldn't. He won't risk it.

Razormane: If Starscream left her again, she'd chase him off with her teeth bared, and he better not dare to show his face again this time. She's not taking him back twice.

On the flip side, it has been established that if Razormane no longer appreciates his company, he will keep appearing in her general periphery and just sort of follow her around like a lost puppy (but juuust out of reach of her teeth, just in case) until she lets him back in. The age-old method. Wear her down.

She's more protective than possessive, but I suppose those two aren't too different in the way they are expressed. Once he gets used to it (which did take a while), he can appreciate having a Predacon curled around him at all times and growling at anyone that comes too close. There are worse ways to live.

If anyone tries to mess with Razormane, he generally lets her handle it herself, if only because he knows she's fully capable of it (if she wasn't, he WOULD step up, but hey, why bother when she's the one with claws half the length of his head?) However if for any reason Razormane was unable to fight back, or if it was a situation where someone was making her clearly uncomfortable but not quite enough to make her lash out, prepare for aerial assault (or just a very pissed off seeker jumping out and clawing at your face). He wasn't made second in command for the fun of it. He's very capable of putting up a fight if he feels threatened. Sometimes Razormane is the one who has to get him to calm down and not immediately jump to fighting every time someone annoys her.

Trixie: Adding her because just, imagine the carnage if either of them ever wanted to call it quits. Trixie is Sentinel's pet, it does not have any right to decide to leave. The leash would stay on permanently, and the crate would be locked. She can't even leave Iacon, or even his tower, because he's the only source of food on the entire planet that it has, nobody else knows how to produce meals that have the nutrients it needs to live. And even if she somehow made it off planet, he would find her. That mech is insane enough to hunt her down.

And Trixie wouldn't let Senny dip out either, not without a fight. Heck, it could very easily blackmail him by threatening to reveal the truth about herself, or even about him, to the entire city. The only way out of their deal for him would be to kill her. And honestly, knowing Sentinel, he would.
