#i watched it tonight since i have to stay in the next couple days before i see family for covid protocol reasons and i just#there are like two or three other movies that do this premise better#someone called it the untalented mr. ripley and i would add it's like if a really dumb guy plagiarized parasite#the grave fucking/menstrual sex/bathwater scenes are all designed in a lab to go viral on tiktok and yet are SO TAME#this is a movie for 18 yr olds who watch maybe one new movie a year to go crazy about#anyway yeah it's well shot and acted but the script is contemptible (not that i expected much from someone who wrote promising young woman)#also it's just really funny to me that this cartoonishly evil class parasite is of course sexually deviant like YAWWWN#i hope ms. fennell finds new material
