pierre really loves to suffer in the name of his bestie because i can imagine their conversations over the years being like:

pierre to charles: what do you mean your husband was agreeing with his fake-bestie that you deserved a penalty when you literally defend his crimes all the time?

charles: i’m divorcing him just wait and see

*next day charles melts into a puddle as he makes heart eyes and never leaving max’s side as soon as he sees him and forgets that Pierre exists*
