keep thinking about hank green’s new york friends asking him if he wants to go to a dive bar & him being like sure whatever. & they get there & he’s like this is a dive bar? this is every bar in missoula!

because yeah it do be like that in the west

#i rant #i'm not gonna say the nastiest new york bar cannot compare to the bars here because that's too broad #but the crap i've seen & smelled at sunshine anodyne and the press club are truly incredible #the only big city bar i've been in that compares to abq is the new cross inn in london which was delightful #some nyer on here recommended what they called a dive bar & i looked at it & went shiiiittt that's bougie
