ta-dah! the bowl greeting dar'khol at the dinner table is pale indigo in color, shiny, and marked with a bright yellow decal upon its center-- the serving it holds is generous, too, filled to and over the brim... what's in the dish, you may ask? dog food, duh!

yuri wraps an arm around the miqote's waist and uses that leverage to usher him forward, his wink sly as he sets him down into a chair.

"repede wanted to pitch in, too," there's a distinct cheek in the explanation, each word an individual poke, "what can i say? he's a dog of many talents."

the oh-so-benevolent dog looks up expectantly, backing yuri's words with a curt 'boof' played straight (it's questionable whether he's fully aware it's a prank).

"'i made it with lots of love, so dig in'!" the swordsman falsely translates. then, resting his hands upon dar's shoulders, he props his chin between the man's twitchy ears and whispers, "you wouldn't wanna hurt his feelings, wouldja?"

little does his special guest know, there's a tray of fresh, flaky croquettes hiding away in the kitchen... but when has yuri ever made things easy? dating be damned, that won't change anytime soon!
