ashara works w solas not neccesarily bc shes wise or especially thoughtful bc shes rly not at first lol. like. she wants to answer every stupid problem with her fists bc shes so impatient and cannot understand arguing the finer points when the stakes are so incredibly high. BUT. the thing that makes them click so well together is that she WANTS to be that kind of person. she looks up to solas and admires him for all the qualities she wishes she could embody. patience, forgiveness, thoughtfulness etc. so even though her first instinct is always gonna be "i think we're going to have to kill this guy solas" she's at least self aware enough to defer to him for his thoughts. and actually listen to them yknow.
