some days you gotta take the small victories

mine is that i got the last bottle of gingerbread coffee syrup in home goods bc i bought an espresso machine over the holidays, and still have all the basic starbucks recipes memorized from my Time in The Trenches at BN (i quit in 2009, fwiw)

now have a gingerbread latte, and am mulling over my thoughts on the menu, which was beautifully done, but a little thin on anything that could really make it pop as a horror film. would watch it again, but i don’t think it’s incredibly memorable.

more importantly: gingerbread latte.

#i am officially a long-covid plague victim so coffee is the only thing keeping me even barely functional #i sleep for like 10-12 hours and do not feel at all rested and have been put on a mandatory regimen of b12 #in addition to several other scripts #so yeah if you're looking for a good relatively inexpensive espresso machine with a milk steamer imusa is 10/10 #lattes for days baybeeeeee #also i no longer feel compelled to go to starbucks for a drink that will not live up to my standards lmao #i have 100% saved what i spent on the machine at this point just making them at home
