i know im probably a million years late but i just figure out that Deanery Targaryen is literally just Akasha, and Jon Snow was probably fucking Lestat. QOTD is published in 1988, Martin started writing his books in the 1990s, so the timeline'd matched. Can't believe G.R.R Martin took Queen of the Damned and translated the plot of that book into the meta arc of Songs of Ice and Fire series and when the ending of his books is finally revealed in the tv show series finale, everybody fucking hates it. This man was probably gonna make Akasha and Lestat more boring and thought it'd be a good idea. He literally just took something that's already flawed and made it worse lmao this is too funny
