honestly what's disappointing to me about cy2 is simply the fact that it's another new book that i know won't immediately hook me or keep me excited for every new update like psi or hell or high water did when they came out, especially because it's been this way for several updates now. like there was a time where we could always count on new books being interesting and exciting but now it's just like oh... another one...

#romance club #i miss being hyped about new books 😔#that's the whole thing for bc i won't read cy2 or waste my time feeling any type of way about it tbh #never continued the first book and i don't like ursa as a writer or a person lol #so i'll just be in my chill indifferent corner <3 #unless the book turns out to be good or something which ??? not really counting on it #i don't think this is necessarily a bad sign tho #rc have a right to experiment w sequels and it's expected if they think there's revenue potential in it #hs2 has been successful from what i can estimate #so this isn't surprising and it doesn't necessarily mean a shift in rc's priorities #if it goes in the wayside i'm sure they'll just switch gears and we'll see how things go either way #shut up jen
