i understand being annoyed with the excessive amount of comments asking where he is but trying to connect that with your opinion that you don't think anthony is that funny made this confession way less valid. you tried to sound objective about how ianthony fans "act" but you just told on yourself that this is all bc you just don't want to see us being loud bc you personally do not care about anthony or them as a duo.

i also really need a lot of you to understand that fans wanting to see ian and anthony in videos doesn't mean we want to see only THEM in videos. we don't want old smosh back. we want them to be in videos with the rest of the cast. given anthony's large absence within the past few months why is it so unreasonable for fans to wonder where he is and to want to see him in content?

how many cOnFeSsIoNs about "ianthony fans being annoying" is this blog going to publish when they all say the exact same tiring thing? none of you are actually saying anything new or worthwhile.

as someone who started watching smosh after anthony had already left i don't get people's obsession with anthony/"ianthony" and i think it's extremely annoying how in every unrelated video's comments there's hundreds of people going "erm sketches where? anthony where? ian anthony now??????"

i know people are nostalgic for him but anthony has been clear about the amount of time he's willing and able to put into smosh appearances as of now and it's exactly what we're getting. 1 hour long biweekly podcast eps. going into the comments of every bit city and games video and acting like they're stealing their precious sketches and ianthony moments that no one ever promised is not only rude, it's simply untrue

aside from thinking it's a shitty thing to do i'm gonna be honest and say i don't think anthony is that funny. especially when he's alone with ian. he's not UNfunny, no more than any other person on smosh, but he's seriously not all that... i've watched old smosh videos and i'm sure they were hilarious in 2015 but it's almost 2025 now and trying to replicate 2010s humour, which is what everyone keeps asking of anthony and what the poor guy keeps attempting, is painfully unfunny now. sorry not sorry. smosh is meant to be entertaining, if you want casual anthony content just to see what he's up to he has a very active independent youtube channel
