face, stillness, night, and footwear for brooke! (or whoever you want to answer for <3)
yayy yippee horray
Face: Describe your oc's face.
Dark skin, dark eyes, big nose. Her hair is usually loose because she has nobody to do it for her, just a simple, long mohawk that runs into her mane (on account of the Creature: ipotanes don't grow hair on the sides of their heads). She is not heavily scarred but she is not lightly scarred either. She has a rough face, shadowed in a way not everybody's is. People notice this. It spells sleeplessness, exertion, and intent. It cautions.
Stillness: How does your oc act while still?
Statuesque. Stillness has a function and it will serve it. Fidgets are a rarity for her: maybe a tapping of fingers on the hilt of her sword, maybe a swish of the tail or a thumbing at her pendant, but more often still is Still. Everything she is, with very little exception, is intentional. She carries herself on purpose, holds herself with reason. She doesn't get antsy and she doesn't get anxious. She is present; aware, alert, watchful.
Night: What does your oc wear to sleep?
Depends. On a hunt, or with her guild, and she may just strip her armor and sleep in her underclothes. In a herd or a town, though, she may actually have sleepwear, typically something loose, woolen or silken depending on weather. She doesn't tie her hair at all, and is actually remarkably careless with its maintenance. It's long for spite and for individuality, while otherwise, keeping it shorter would be easier.
Footwear: What does your oc wear on their feet?
Alas. Hoofs. But she does wear horseshoes, just simple, utile ones, the only downside of which is that they can't be easily taken off or on, but this doesn't really affect her day-to-day much. She cleans them on the same hoof-brushes that other seirims do (kind of like those boot-scrubber things if you've ever seen them outside country houses) before entering a building or especially anyone's home. As is polite.

Ayo! the lads reacting to an s/o that "mothers" them? Tends to their wounds, makes sure they're always eating enough, sings for them/strokes their hair when they can't sleep, etc? (soft and comfort stuff pls)
Hi! I can definitely relate to wanting to take care of these boys. Fluff coming right up!
Nero
At first, Nero is embarrassed by it. He’s a grown man, you know? He can take care of himself! He doesn’t need you to tell him to eat, he doesn’t need you to check on him after every single time he leaves the van, blah blah blah.
He appreciates it, though. He’ll deny that he enjoys it as much as he does, but when no one’s around, he thanks you. It’s so sincere and the smile on his face could brighten any room and warm even the coldest of hearts. He knows Nico would tease him for being so soft.
One moment that stands out is when he came back into the van, staggering and bleeding profusely. You dropped what you were doing and instantly ran to his side, helping him in the van. You must’ve spent an hour making sure his wounds were clean and properly bandaged with him barely conscious the whole time; he took quite a beating. When you were done, you let him lay down with his head on your lap. You ran your hand through his hair until you could feel his breathing slow and deepen as he passed out. You didn’t move from that position until he woke up, and that would be about ten hours later.
Dante
Dante calls you cute for worrying about him, but he’ll insist he doesn’t need it. He’s made it this far, right? He’s foolhardy, but he’s got the strength to handle his recklessness.
He lets you take care of him, since he knows that’s just how you are. It makes you happy to care for him, and he likes seeing you happy. You’ve seen how he looks at you when you sing for him, and you’ve never seen such a look of absolute adoration. He’s almost entranced.
The man only eats pizza and strawberry sundaes, so surely that can’t be healthy! So you decided to do something about it one day. Dante returns to the office after a job and it smells almost unbelievably delicious. He finds you sitting there with an absolute feast of food that you had prepared and brought over. Among the dishes is pot roast, mashed potatoes, dinner rolls, vegetables… and you made enough to feed several people. Dante is almost taken aback. This was for him? You nodded. You even made him dessert: strawberry shortcake. You also brought the supplies to make strawberry sundaes if he wants to fall back on his usual preference. Dante hasn’t eaten so well in so many years, he can’t even remember. A home-cooked meal. It means so much to him he’s almost tearing up as he enjoys what you’ve made for him.
V
V never takes care of himself. He has too much on his plate to even consider taking a moment to rest, or eat, or let wounds recover. When you point these things out to him, he’s a little confused at first, before he realizes oh, that’s right, that’s something he needs to do.
You refuse to let him neglect his needs, even if you have to be the one to take care of him. He’s incredibly grateful for what you do for him, and he’ll let you know as much. He only wishes he could do the same for you, but he’s not in much of a position to do that.
One time, you saw that he was wincing a little as he moved and his limp had worsened. Turns out his back had been bothering him something awful that day. You brewed him some chamomile tea to help as a muscle relaxant. Why stop there, though? You sat on the couch and patted the space next to you. When he sat down, you told him to take off his coat. While confused a little by your request, he complied. Then you began to knead his shoulders, working your way slowly down until you reached his lower back. You paid special attention to the tension you felt in his muscles as you did so, working out the knots. All the while, you told him about how you had heard that this was supposed to alleviate pain by causing the muscle to relax, since pain could be caused by muscle spasms. You also told him little stories you thought he might enjoy. You kept him at ease. When you had finished, you slipped his coat back onto his shoulders before wrapping a blanket around him as well. When you asked if he was feeling better, he nodded and thanked you for your care. Such a relaxing touch you had. It sort of made him sleepy, and he fell asleep on your shoulder as you stroked his hair.
Vergil
He’s the most aloof of them all. He tells you constantly that he doesn’t need these things, but you’re just as stubborn as he is. He rolls his eyes at you. He’s very cold about it.
You don’t back down though. If it’s the last thing you do, you’ll make sure he’s okay. You know he’s just distancing you because he hasn’t felt anything like this since he was a child, and he doesn’t know how to process it. He’s discarded all thoughts that he could be loved and cared for. Those silly dreams did nothing for him when he was growing up, fighting off countless demons.
In all your stubbornness, once he woke up from a nightmare and left the bed to make himself some tea to help him calm down. He hadn’t expected to find you sitting there, tea already brewed, but there you were. You had noticed that he had nightmares almost nightly, and most of the time, he didn’t go back to sleep. But he didn’t have to deal with it alone. You knew he wasn’t going to talk about it, and he didn’t. But he had a very rare request for you: he asked if you could stay with him, just for tonight. You didn’t want to let this pass you by, because you had a feeling he wouldn’t ask you for anything similar ever again, and so you agreed, gladly. You both sat on the couch, Vergil leaning into your side. He may have told you, in a thinly veiled threat, to tell no one about this. You chuckled a little and held him close, rubbing his back in large circles, humming lullabies quietly. He hasn’t slept so well in years.
