#we were assisting at another intervention today and he just. slid in to watch the procedure#then he noticed the handful of students huddled in a corner and came over to explain the process#then suddenly starts giving us all sorts of learning tips and life advice in such a warm manner you'd think it was a family meeting#in stark contrast with the 10 other med staff members in the room glaring at us hdjksjs#not Our fault for having a professor who's also a surgeon taking us w her when she's on duty. but alas#gotta learn somehow#so the amiable doc talks to us for a good 20 mins and then leaves. we do too. and on the way out someone tells us he's the chief surgeon.#good thing i had the mask on or else my jaw would've hit the floor#highlight of an 8-to-8 day tbh. had to go back and forth between 3 different hospitals AND come back at the faculty#whoever said this is the make it or break it uni year had a point ngl#passing out in three two o
