About aoi. ❤ my friend sent me this ❤
first of all we starts saying that aoi is a really complicated character but before going to the point (her personality) I want to say all the things she likes and she doesn't
all right, so, aoi loves giraffes because her dad gifted her a giraffe plush when she was little but one thing aoi has is daddy issues, because apparently he left her and her mom before she was 4, when aoi turned 4 a new neighbor came to knock on her door, the neighbor is akane, aoi is obviously il love with akane, that hade reciprocated feelings since they were 5, akane kept asking her out and confessing to her, aoi never refused to go out on a "date" w akane (as shown in many official arts, like the one where they go to the zoo, or the one where they ice skate together) because she liked him and his company, but aoi is very smart so she doesn't completely trust akane, as shown in some panels as a kid aoi was mostly emotionless, that made the others hate her, so when she started middle school she completely changed personality (that's how she became friends w nene), she became the picture perfect girl everyone wanted her to be (akane noticed that), but after that things got even worse because aoi was starting to get hate from all the girls (calling her a slut ) and slowly people were starting to notice her loner attitude (as shown in one of the official arts). she watched akane from afar, all the friends he had, how extroverted he was, how people were attracted by his presence, while aoi was just called a slut by girls and had to reject boys all the time. Nene in volume 5 started to notice it too, that's why she got worried and tried to find aois secret (because she never saw aoi being such loner and thinking all the time).in volume 6 aoi tried to stop nene so they could talk, because aoi was feeling lonely, akane was acting strange because of the mirai problem and nene was mostly away bc of hanako so aoi was completely lonely with no one to talk to, she tried to talk to nene and spend some time w her but nene had to hurry and aoi just stood there watching her go away. in volume 13 aoi got kidnapped and brainwashed by no. 6 I can't say anything about the brain wash bc come on she was brain washed and tried to clap everyone, but I can say about the scene where she cures akanes wound with her dress, she's still possessed there but it's starting to show some normal emotions since she lies about being scared of the wound (you can notice bc she's looking away and blushing). she tells akane everything about how she feels, the fact that her dearest people keep secrets from her and then akane says that "we're not the only one keeping secrets" and tells everything about aois personality, about how she's selfish bc she want everyone to like her even though that will never be possible, the fact that she hides her true self under a mask etcetera, in the fireworks chapter we can see nene and aoi reunion, aoi is sorry for doing all those horrible things to nene but she just can't say sorry because of her selfishness. but nene forgives anyway and that makes aois heart go softer. in fact from that chapter we can see that aoi doesn't braid her hair anymore (she had the same hair since she was 3) that means she's finally starting a new chapter of her life,, ❤❤
THINGS ABOUT AOI!!!
- she likes anything that tastes like raspberries (reason why akane brings her raspberry candies to the far shore)
- she still keeps the protection teru gave her because she's scared something will happen to her again
- she likes to eat healthy
- she likes walking alone, but probably not at night because she's scared of man sexually harassing her (reason why she wears a hat and long skirt)
but also when aoi walks at night it means she's herself because she keeps her hair down (her hair down imply aois true personality)
This is a really good analysis. I deliberately took out my volumes and looked through them and it wasn't like that at all. Daikon was literally crying and looking pale as Aoi, the popular girl, was literally seething with jealousy. Akane noticed that she was sad and that there was something wrong with her. Not daikon. In volume 6, Aoi herself showed the emotion of sadness and asked if she hated her and Aoi was relieved when the daikon replied in the negative. It was thanks to Akane that she finally began to undergo character development, not the daikon. With all due respect, the daikon only forgave Aoi for what she did and nothing more, but the daikon herself neither apologized nor asked if she was okay. All this credit goes to Akane, not her. these are the parts from Aoi's side, I agree.
Its good analysis.
And to the rest. This is true

Fandom: Open Heart
Pairing: Ethan Ramsey x f!mc (Charlotte West)
Word Count: 1.9k
A/N: Pretty angsty I guess.
Summary: When a lonely soul decides to spend her morning on a beach she is unpleasantly surprised to find that she isn’t alone and a lot has changed except her feelings.
Warnings: None

A dreamy sea has a rhythmic pulse to it unmatched by any other part of nature. It forges its own sounds and kindles its own symphony as the waves crawl gently to the shore. Maybe that’s why she admired the Aruban beach so much or maybe it was the isolation of it all. Something she’d come to be so accustomed to. Her loneliness is like standing in the middle of a bustling city, watching people rush by without feeling like you're even remotely connected to them.
No, it's not the same as being alone; being alone is more a state of physical being than it is a state of soul and emotion. You're surrounded by all these people who never seem to truly understand you and who seem like they will never understand the fears and deepest thoughts that tug at your heart. It's not that they don't care about you or truly try to help you -- it's simply that feeling that they will never understand you, no matter how much you explain. It's that craving for love and connection beyond the surface level. Loneliness leads you to feel like you're literally watching the world go by, not part of anything in particular.
Being physically alone though on the beach was nothing new she had to say, but much to her displeasure she wasn’t alone. She spotted a figure in the distance much closer to the shore bare feet in the sand because washed by the gentle waters inching closer. The figure was tall and held a domineering stance and rigid posture she couldn’t shake.
He stood with his face up toward the sun as if taking in the rays of shine and simply basking in its warmth like a bath. He donned white shorts and a plain light blue short sleeved shirt just regular beach attire she shrugged off. He ran his hand through his tussle of chocolate brown curls and visibly breathed deeply taking in the silence quiet and free from disturbance but loud enough to be calming all the same.
It wasn’t until he turned around and they locked eyes from her sitting position did her grow wide and her posture go rigid did she realize this was no mere man or stranger on the beach at all. It was him. Her one that got away. The man that used to make her heart skip a beat with just a simple touch or look, the love of her life. The one that got away. After all this time he was still a part of her. She could still feel the way she beats nearly out of her chest at his mere presence and there’s a certain ache that still makes her feel like she is still in love with him.
For years he’d been the last thing on her mind before she went to sleep the reason for the teardrops on her pillow. Why even after all this time she hadn’t been able to get over him even after deciding to let him go which was the hardest thing she’d ever had to do. She tried to get rid of them, the memories, yet she still cannot, because those memories are so ebullient and hard to forget. They're still in her heart's chamber.
She wanted him to know so much, that she loved him. Still she did, her feelings were never a joke and that everytime she told him “I love you” way back when it came from the bottom of her heart. The moment she told him that his embrace made her feel so much comfortable and forget all her problems in life, yes she was honest with that. She was so honest for all the feelings she harbored deep inside. She cherished the moments shared and wouldn’t ever forget how she felt every time she was with him and all she’d put them through.
She wanted to go to him. Her heart told her to run into his arms and rekindle what they had once had but body stayed situated and stuck in place as she continued to stare at the once love of her life and the man she couldn’t ever seem to get over. That she still held a flame larger than life for. He sent a gentle smile but his eyes told a different story of love, so much love. But her happiness died disgustingly hard when realized he hadn’t seen her at all. Instead his attention had been directed behind her where his eyes alighted unfathomably bright at the sight of a woman and a small girl with a little brown dog.
The woman was absolutely stunning. She truly was what women paid to look like, if perfection didn’t exist she was an exception truthfully. Her tanned brown skin could’ve been glowing in the bright sun and beautiful features were highlighted stunningly by the carefree smile alighted on her face. As she held the smallest girl who took after her seeming to be mother exponentially. The girl held their mother’s golden brown complexion and dark curly hair but those eyes; they were unmistakably blue. A bright blue that resembled those indigo blues she knew all too well.
They were Ethan’s and the woman’s children. Her thoughts were only confirmed when the little girl wrestled her way out of her mother’s arms, raising a laugh from the woman as she ran into her fathers arms with the puppy trailing behind her. She hadn’t ever seen him look so happy and at peace. But when the woman made her way to him and hugged him from behind the way his face lit up was foreign to him; even in their time together she’d never made him look like that with just a simple hug.
He wasted no time in bringing her into his embrace and kissing her deeply, whispering sweet nothings into her ear, and being borderline affectionate. There was no doubt in her mind that Ethan Ramsey, a man who had no time for marriage or family loved the woman that donned a heavy diamond ring on her finger as he held it up and kissed each knuckle tenderly earning a moan of discontent from the little girls. It was adorable really they looked like a picture perfect family. What you’d see in movies really. Hell they even had a small dog with them that she hadn’t noticed till now.
It had finally hit her, she had to move on. She needed to let go of all that held her back: her love for a man who’d absolutely moved on, after all he was her first love. The very first love that she had experienced in her whole life. It felt melancholic for she had lost him. Maybe they were meant to spend the good times together, it’s just fate took its turn, she was able to hurt him and he did too and well she guessed that was inevitable. Then they parted ways and new beginnings came their way, you chose her over what a naive girl thought was forever kind of love. But it’s okay because she’ll get used to it. She promised herself and hopefully soon it’ll be without bitterness or anger.
Her therapist had told her some time ago before she left for the medical conference in Aruba that when she needed to get something out and she wasn’t available to try and write it out, in a letter of sorts. So she did just that and she wrote a goodbye later her lost love would never receive and not for him but for her. So she swiftly left the beach as undetected as when she arrived and made her way back inside the resort and found a pen and paper in her hotel room and got to writing. She wrote till her hand cramped and her tears stained the paper.
Dearest Ethan,
I wish you happiness love, even if that happiness doesn't include me anymore. It's just that I have to accept the fact that I was no longer a part of you and you of me. Thank you for everything. If I would be given a chance to get back from where we started I will still have that small talk with you in the hallway about her physics class we had together. I will still choose to fall in love with you because you're the best thing ever happened to me, maybe our bittersweet love story has ended after I’d hurt you the way I did. I thought the grass was greener on the other side and I was wrong but I found out all too late. But the last thing that I want to say is in another life I would be your girl so I don't have to say you were the one that got away. And I’m sorry not only to you but to myself...and Tobias.
Love,
Someone you used to know
As she sealed the letter she closed a chapter to her life that wouldn’t ever be opened again. And somehow she moved on. Ethan belonged to the beautiful with the brown skin and curly hair and somehow someway Suparna had to be okay with that. She wasn’t thinking when she sent the letter via bell boy to his room she only asked that it be deliverers to Dr. Ethan Ramsey and lied saying it regarded information about the medical conference he’d been invited to. And with that she went to her bed and fell into a restful sleep dreaming of what could’ve been.
————————————————————————————————
After an eventful day at the beach which was great until Charisma decided to put sand in Jenner’s fur. The act prompted the family to make their way back to the suite and give the girl and the pup a good bath before dinner which was much harder than it looked. Jenner was absolutely refusing and kept shaking his wet little sandy body as often as he could making the largest mess he possibly could. He had given up on chasing the three year old who’d decided that baths weren’t her thing and decided she’d rather run naked throughout the hotel room. Finally he’d washed and dried Jenner and put him in the dog bed with some toys to keep him busy. His love thankfully relieved him of his daddy duties and got Charisma ready for bed. A knock on the door interrupted his short reprieve that involved what he needed most at the moment a glass of scotch.
He answered the door and was met with a bellhop delivering him a letter that he took suspiciously wishing the boy a good night. He wasted no time in opening the letter and reading its contents that quite confused him. His thought process was soon interrupted by a warm hug from the love of his life as she placed her chin on his chest.
“Who’s it from?” She gently inquired. He only shook his head and shrugged in response. “No one important.”
“You okay?”
“Yeah I’m alright.” And with that he took his wife’s hand and couldn’t help but to admire the diamond ring that was just made for her and kissed her ring finger tenderly as he and Charlotte made their way to their daughters room to read her at least three stories before she finally turned in only to have her come in their bed later. But they wouldn’t have it any other way.

"Is the third time only this month that brat does this..." has growled before placing Kin back on her crib after Kaito tried again to sending her away.
This time the brat just got out of the street and dared to stop a officer on the street, lifting his sister in his arms and with a stoic face ask if they wanted a baby.
You let out a hopeless sigh before shaking a bit the crib, smilling in relief at seing that your baby girl, different from Kaito, was the most quiet and easy to sleep baby you ever saw.
"Just give him a bit more time Kai, I'm sure he is going to get used to her soon... I hope."
He looked at you dead in the eyes, arching on eyebrow up.
"Angel. Kin has eight months already. Eight months." He pointed at outside of the room "And the rascal still tried to send her away."
You made a worried face, letting go of the crib when you noticed that Kin had fell asleep.
"... apologies." He latted yoir head gently "Maybe I was too-"
"No no. Relax." You giggled, adoring the way his hand felt on your head "I guess is just going to take a bit longer for Kaito to get used to his sister then..."
"It better be quick. I'm tired of explaining my self to mails and police this whole thing."
~
He arched one eyebrow at the numb and glommy look his son carried while he poked with his eating uttensiles the food in front of him.
Ever since his last attempt of getting rid of Kin he is been like this, and he was starting to grow afraid that his brat had gotten ill.
You walked in with a giggling Kin in your arms, cooing while holding your cheeks together, making you look like a fish, while you made goofy faces at her.
The tight grip Kaito had on his hashi wasn't unnoticed by Kai.
"Hey daddy?" You called, breaking his attention to look up at you two "Kin wants to see your beautiful face~"
He scoffed at that, rolling his eyes but still lowering his mask and looking at Kin dead in the eye. The girl cooed and clapped her tiny chubby hands while her golden eyes shined in glee at seing her daddy's face.
"Such a simple and dumb action that can caught her interest like that?" He muttered before bringing it up his mask.
Kaito suddenly scoffed and got out from the table, leaving everthing he was suppose to eat behind. Making you and kai exchange glances before he got up and called his son sternly.
"Chisaki Kaito come back here this instant."
"I'm not hungry." The kid mumbled, still walking.
"Kaito." Kai growled threateningly, ignoring your hand on his shoulder and words for him to calm down "Get back here. Right now."
The kid stopped, tiny hands turned into shaking fists as he muttered some words neither you or Kai could catch.
"What?" Kai said coldly before Kaito sended one teary yet angry look at his father.
"You two have her so why should I stay in the first place?" He said monotonously before running to his room, hitting the door slightly.
"Of course..." you sighed, Kin made a confused and sad noise at your face while Kai just stayed intact. "I should have know." Kai looked at you with one eyebrow lifted up.
"Hon he is jealous of Kin." You said quickly before he scoffed, already walking towards his son's room. "Kai c'mon don't start another argument.."
"I'm not. But I thought I raised this brat better than this." He scoffed before wrapping his hand on the door handle, noticing that his son had locked it.
"Kaito stop with this and open the door." He growled, receiving a faint 'go away' from teh other side "Get out of there or I will break this door open."
He felt you poking his shoulder and sended you a glare.
"I might be wrong but-" you said in oure sarcasm "This is not the exactly BEST way of getting into a upset child's room." He deadpanned when his daughter made what sounded like a agreement sound.
"Well." He showed his palm at the door "Be my guest then dearest."
You arched a eyebrow at him before handing Kin to him. Not noticing how he got tense and averted his eyes from his daughter a bit...
"Sweety?" You knocked the door "Please let us in?"
"No." Thsi one was more soft than the others and your heart break at the sniffle you heard.
"Kaito, if something is wrong then we need to talk to sorta things out. Please open the door for me and daddy?"
"...I don't want to talk."
You sighed, ignoring the smug look Chisaki sended to you before an idea popped into your head.
"So you're just going to stay there until when?"
"Until... until..." you wanted to break that door the moment you heard a weak sob from the other side.
"My soldier. Me and daddy only want to help." Chisaki made a confused noise before you shushed him "But you know that he can overhaul this door... so please just open honey? For me and him?"
You sighed in relief when you heard the click sound while Chisaki handed Kin back to you immediately. Pushing the door open you saw Kaito sitting on his bed as he rubbed his face with his forearm, parted legs as his hand fisted the material of his pants.
"So?" Chisaki crossed his arms, looking down at his son with his stoic face "Explain-"
"Is about Kin. We know." You interrupted, your husband glaring at you for that "But what exactly is bothering you sweety?"
"Her." He whispered "One more it means less, and you and daddy just stop everthing you do to go to her and see what she wants." He sniffled.
"Because she is a infant." Chisaki interrupted "On her stature and age is necessary." He said in a manner of fact tone.
Kaito suddenly sobbed a bit more loud, now with both hands fisting the sheets of his bed.
"Kaito." You cooed while sitting next to him, a firm grip on your daughter but still went to trade your fingers through his hair.
"Neither of you will care about me anymore! You don't do now do you?!" Kaito sobbed harshly, but still not dodging away from your touch.
"... for crying out loud." Your husband growled, and even before you could send a glare he took a sit on the other side of his son and took your hand out of his head to just drop quite harshly his own, making the kid yelp even.
Kaito glared at his father, teeth cringing together but the river of tears didn't stopped either as Kai only stared numbly down.
"Your sister needs the special treatment because she is way younger than you." He pointed with his palm at Kin fisting the hem of your shirt. "She struggles with saying simple words and even walk. So that's why me and your mother stay more allert with her."
Kaito scoffed, looking down with a frown before your gentle hand lifted a bit his chin up to look at you.
"That doesn't mean neither of us love more or less one than the other honey." You rubbed your thumb on his chin while Kai started to carres his son's hair. "Never we would do that. The same Kin is receiving now, you once received as a baby."
"... but.." his eyes came back to being the usual stoic ones while he pouted a bit with furrowed eyebrows.
"Brat. The same we feel about Kin we do about you. No questions or objections." He messed with Kaito's hair a bit before retreading his hand back "Both are brats. But our brats."
"I never heard you calling her like that." Kaito said suddenly while Kai arched a eyebrow and you let out a disbelieved giggle.
"You're serious? Daddy is always calling both you and Kin brats. No matter what I do!"
"That so..." Kaito mumbled, looking down at the ground.
"... Kin, you and your mother are simply the only ever people that brought me such a thing called joy and the real concept of a family Kaito." Chisaki spoked in a serious tone, catching his son interest.
"Your first word was my title as a father, and I genuinely teared up." He flipped Kaito's forehead, making the kid yelp "This is how important you are. The only persons that ever made me cry were you three and only."
Kaito widened his eyes in shock, looking up at you and pointing at his dad.
"Daddy cried?!" You nodded while Chisaki growled, not liking to hear that more than once. Kaito looked down at his hands before sighing "I'm so stupid... I promised you both that I would be a good brother yet I did those things... I'm sorry."
You gave him a raspberry on his cheek, finally heari g taht laugh again.
"Is normal feeling jealous of a sibling. But what is not good is trying sending them to Alaska." You laughes in nervousness while Kaito lowered his head.
"I'm sorry... what can I do to... fix what I did?" He felt his father's gloved hand push his head a bit to look up and slided to grab his shoulder, while the other showed Kin smilling and making grabby hands at Kaito.
"Starts to care and not hate your sister would be a good way to fix your mess." Kaito looked uo at his father before hesitantly looking at his sister's golden eyes.
"She might hate me."
"Hmm I guess not." You placed Kin to the bedsheets in a sitting position "She is very giggly when she is around you."
"Is she?" He asked, still looking at his sister.
"The brat only smiled once because you were in the room." Kai said nonchantly glaring a bit at the little girl while you laughed.
Kaito awkwardly and hesitantly got closer and looked up at you, receiving a encouraging nod, before he grabbed her underneath her shoulders and brought her closer.
"Hey... I'm... sorry?" Kaito said awkwardly "I promise to not be a bad older brother anymore... at least I will try. But I am the first and also dad and especially mom's favorite, so have that on your mind." Kai went to scold him before the little girl laughed and cooed while touching her hand on the tip of her brother's nose.
Kaito stayed immobile. Frozen. You and Kai shared another look before Kai poked him in the shoulder.
"Brat?"
"... I love her." He said nonchantly but his (E/c) eyes shined in glee as the girl kicked a bit her legs while Kaito holded her up "She is weird. But is a good weird."
You snorted, thinking thhat in that moment Kaito never looked more than his father than there while Kai just smirked a bit in hopeless.
"It took less than 15 minutes. After eight months." You giggled while he went to give you a kiss before Kaito interrupted.
"See? This is gross Kin. We need to stop them when they do this. Is disgusting."
"Oh HELL no." Kai growled while you almost died of laughter.
Two brats interrupting him and his wife? FUCK NO.

Rose the Hat x Fem! Reader
Tumblr media
Hello lovelies! This imagine was requested by @merci-bitch I still love that username, lol. I hope you enjoy! Sorry it took me a while to publish. I was getting stuff ready for Christmas all day today.
Warnings: Violence, implied child abuse, implied domestic violence, mentions of child death, mentions of sexism.
For someone with such a beautiful face, you did not have such a beautiful past. You were a freak. Or at least that's what you thought.
You were born into a wealthy family and your parents wanted a little boy, not a girl. They were automatically biased about you from the start.
You were a beautiful baby and so happy. You loved everyone, even strangers. Your aunts and uncles would hold you close when they came to visit telling your parents how lucky they were or how special you were. You were an only child after all. They would just shrug. "It's a child. Nothing that special about her."
Over time though they realized just how special you were. You weren't like other children. You seen things and did things other children didn't do.
You could advise someone to go to the doctor because somehow you knew they were sick and could tell people little tidbits about their past or future.
Guest and other relatives marvelled over it, remarking on how cool they thought it was. Your parents didn't like it though. In their small minds, little girls weren't supposed to do things like that.
You did everything they asked but it was never good enough. You got good grade, got accepted into Honor Society, virtually any achievement anyone could think of. Your parents didn't care though.
Years of rejection hurt and once you hit your early teens you began to react like any normal teenager would. You cried everyday when you came over the smallest things and crying eventually turned to rebelling.
You'd go out for nights on end and not come. Your shine grew stronger and your parents could take you no more.
They sent you away to an inpatient mental health facility. You begged and begged not to go. You weren't crazy. You didn't ask to have this weird sonar in your head. You wanted to be normal. They refused though stating "You were to dangerous to others and yourself."
Those two years you spent locked away were the hardest years you ever knew. You were constantly doped out on all the medications they gave you and your shine became slightly surpressed.
Even though supression occurred though, dark things became attached to you. Demons and ghost would come to you in the night and you could take no more.
On a dark, summer night you took the first pair of clothes and purse you could find and ran off. You felt relieved but couldn't help but feeling distressed.
You had money and enough debit cards to get you anywhere you wanted at this point but eventually someone would notice their purse was missing and money was gone.
As soon as you got out of the bus, you turned to escorting wealthy men for money. The pay was good but some of the men were terrible.
More often than not, you'd wake up in an unfamiliar hotel room and no memory of how you got there. Days of the week blended in together and one drink eventually turned to the whole bottle. It was one of the very rare days you didn't have and you were currently at your favorite movie theater, nestled into your seat zoning off to the music in the vintage film. Your thirst for liquor was off that day and you just felt like doing something different.
The theater was mostly empty besides a few people and a couple sitting in the way back together.
"I don't see what you're fussing about." Rose mused, laying her head on Crow Daddy's shoulder. She wasn't enthused by any of this. Normally she'd enjoy a night out at the cinema with her Crow but the popcorn was bland and the teenagers sloppily kissing on the big screen were not the best entertainment.
"She's steamy. Just look at her." Crow gestured his hand towards you. "I'll agree, big steam but she has no particular talent. She's just steamy."
"You don't think she'd be good to turn?" Rose held a piece of popcorn up to his lips. "If the situation was different, then yes. For right now though, no. We need to eat more than we need steam. How old do you think she is anyways?"
Crow pushed her hand away. "Nineteen or twenty tops. If we train her though, she'd have so much talent. Plus she's kinda cute." Rose furrowed her brows. "What the fuck did you just say?"
"You heard." He shrugged, desperately trying to get a rise out of her. Rose glared at him out of the corners of her eyes, a slight pang of jealousy ran through her. "Spunky tonight, aren't we?"
"Guess you could call it that." Rose grinned tightly. "Not feeling the hunger yet from a few months ago?"
"Nope." He popped his 'p'
'Of course you're not. Because you want to be stubborn.' Rose shifted in her seat.
"We're not turning her. We just turned Andi a few months ago. You know how it is. You don't turn more than one in a short period of time. You don't want to make the baby jealous."
"If I may say so Rosie, Andi doesn't seem like she has a care in the slightest about anything." Crow's tone remained soft but he retained serious composure in his face.
Rose smiled sickly sweet. "I didn't ask for your opinion but that's fine, honeybunch." She leaned upwards, trailing kisses all over his collar bone. "You remember the last time we ate?"
"Six months ago..Rhode Island." He grunted, trying his hardest not to give in. "Remember how nice it felt? How good the sex was?" She nipped the sensitive part of his neck. "We can have that again very soon if we have her."
Crow's eyes rolled into the back, running his hands up and down her sides. "Do you have a plan on how you want to trap her?"
"We don't have to do anything. Matter of fact, I think we have the perfect opportunity..now." Your phone began to ring in your pocket and you walked up the aisle to step outside and answer it.
Crow took Rose's soft hand is his rough, lightly scarred one. A reminiscent of the physically grueling years of his youth. "Let's do this then."
Meanwhile you stood outside in the rain, your phone pressed up against your ear. "No..I'm not leaving. Because, it's my day off..and I said no! Look, I'm at a movie theater, I'll call you back. Bye."
You hung up the phone and shook your head, walking to your car but something felt off. You felt like someone was watching you. "Excuse me, Miss." Hesitantly, you turned around. Trusting the bright and cheerful smile despite that uneasy feeling in your stomach. "You left your purse in theater." He held up what you thought was your hand bag.
"Oh my gosh. Thank you so much." You approached Crow. "I was wondering where I put it." You went to take the bag in your hand but it was no longer there.
"What the fuck?" A hand grabbed your arm and you tensed. You spun in the opposite direction and was greeted by Rose.
"Well hi there, dollface." You paused and turned your gaze to the woman across from you. Her grey eyes hypnotized you as they locked with Y/c/e orbs. She was the most beautiful woman you'd ever seen, on the outside at least. Something wasn't right on the inside though. You didn't have to use your shine to know that. You had to get away from her.
"You want to let me go." The older woman looked amused and let out a hardy laugh. "Oh no, dearest..no, I don't."
"Yes, you do." Rose insisted. You struggled against her as you felt a set of arms wrap around your torso. "Stop it." You squirmed.
"It's alright honey. Just relax. It'll only be a little pinch." You shook your head and Rose held your shoulders tightly. "You are a special little thing, aren't you?"
Her eyes flicked blue and you gasped as the needle punctured your skin. It stung like a bee and you flinched. The further Crow pushed down on the needle the colder and limper you began to feel.
"How much more?" Rose eyed you closely. "Maybe a milliliter more." She smiled at you and gently caressed your cheeks. "You're going to meet some fun people, sweetcheeks. For right now though, I want you to sleep."
"I-" She shushed you. "Sleep." Your lids felt heavy and soon after your neck muscles gave out and head bobbed forward as you fell asleep.
"Well that was easier than I thought." Crow threw you over his shoulder. "How many cannisters do you think we can fill with this one?"
"I don't know..at least three." Rose slipped her fingers under your chin. "You're right, she is a pretty thing. Too bad she doesn't have any particular skill. She seems like she'd be fun to have around."
"You think?" He gestured to the bottle of liquor that fell out of your purse. Rose chuckled and picked it up of the ground. "Eighty proof. My she must be a busy girl."
The roar of an engine came up from behind both members and they turned on both heels as Snakebite Andi opened the door to the RV. "That the Steamhead?" Rose nodded and Crow carried you inside. "Where to?" Barry yelled from the driver seat. "That forest we passed on the way here. Nobody should hear her out there."
A few hours later you kicked and screamed as Rose carried you out of the RV. "No! No! No!" You begged and flopped against her. "Please..please! I won't tell! I swear."
"Honey, it's not personal and I know you wouldn't but it's just not a practical option." She dropped you on the ground roughly and the other's began to tie you up.
Crow was standing off to the side with a map in his hands. "Rosie, I thought you said no one would hear us out here."
"They won't. Why?" Rose began to sharpen her knife. "We're near a campground." She furrowed her brows. "No, we're not."
"Yes, we are." He held two of his fingers up and gestured for her to come near him. Rose snatched the map into her hands and looked down at you.
"Well I'll be damned." Crow nodded. "Yeah, not a good thing."
Meanwhile Andi hammered one of the stakes down by your feet. "It's a shame, really. You're a pretty girl and I was there once in your shoes but a girl's got to eat."
Tears started streaming down your cheek and Rose stood infront of you. She didn't care who heard something. They needed to eat.
"Rose, will you make her shut up?" Barry groaned. Rose grinned and kneeled infront of you, running the knife against cheek. "Shh..pain purifies steam. Fear too so now you understand."
She raised the knife above her head, balance it inbetween the tips of her fingers. "Are you going to hurt me?" Your inside burns and you felt like you wanted to throw up.
"Yes." Her arm moved forward to stab you but a light peeked through the bushes. "Hey, what's going on over here?"
A rush of adrenaline radiated through you and you swung your legs forward. Kicking Crow in the face. He groaned, holding his bleeding face. "Little whore!"
"They're trying to kill me!" You screamed as you ran up the hill. You expected some of them to run after you but most fled to their RV.
Meanwhile Rose shoved a cloth she had woven into her hair in Crow's direction. "Rosie, where are you going?"
"I'm going to find that pretty, little bitch." Rose ran after you, trying to find any sight of you. "Y/n?" She called out. "That is your name, isn't it? I'm Rose, in case you didn't know mine."
A twig cracked and she spun in the opposite direction. "You can't hide forever, sweetface. That's what you've been doing your whole life, haven't you? If you don't hide from me, I can show you just how special we are. Because like I said you are a special girl."
You cautiously peeked out from behind the tree you were hiding by and made your way to speak past Rose.
"I hear you moving, my sweet. Come to Old Rose." You near passed her when your forehead bumped straight into her's. That battered old top hat fell off her head.
"You asshole!" Rose got your hair in her grip and gave it a rough yank. You screamed and attempted to push her back. "Get away from me, you crazy whore."
You earned another tug to your locks for that remark. "Knock my hat over, hide from me, and be rude? Oh honey, you and I are going to have fun."
Rose pressed your body against the ground and you helplessly found yourself gripping at the ground as if it was going to help you.
There was predatorial prowess in Rose's gaze that made you feel nervous. In the distance you could hear police sirens. "I think I seen them this way."
Rose's head quickly bobbed up as if she was trying to figure out if it was a member of her family and she cursed. "I want to remember every single feature on your face that way you'll never be able to escape."
You let out a scream and she rolled her eyes. "Oh will you shut up?" Rose's lips smashed against yours, biting at your lip for entrance to your mouth. You stared at her in awe for a few minutes before letting her tongue enter your mouth. It felt so wrong but so right at the same time.
This woman tried to kill you. You shouldn't be making out with her but her dominace and aggressive beauty took you in an instant and you had to admit, she was a damn good kisser too.
Your tongues fought for a winner for a few more moments before she pulled away from you. Your lipstick was smearing on Rose's lip and she grinned.
Her rough touch turned gentle as she booped your nose. "You're lucky. Your screams saved you this time but rest assure my sweet, I will be seeing you again and like I said, you'll never escape."
"Until we meet again, pretry girl." Rose stood up off the ground and nodded in your direction before walking off. You laid on the ground, gazing up at the stars. In shock of it all. "What the fuck just happened?"
You heard rustling from the bushes behind and the police ran up to you. "Miss, are you okay?" You nodded slowly. "Yeah I'm..I'm fine."
"Can you tell us what happened?" You could see The True's RVs rolling out in the distance and you shrugged. "I-i don't know."
One of them mumbled something about amnesia and helped you off the ground. "Let's get you to the hospital."
Down the road Rose drove at a normal pace as she made her way from the scene. "How come you're not panicking?" He had a piece of gauze pressed up against his cheek.
"She didn't tell," Rose responded, keeping her eyes on the road. "So we're just going to let her go?" She chuckled and shook her head. "No..I have a different plan for this one. I thought about what you said before Crow and I think you're right." He raised an eyebrow at Rose and she smirked.
Less than a week later you were back at home when there was a knock on your apartment door during your movie night and you put the bowl of popcorn down to go answer it. You looked out the peephole before opening it.
Rose stood on the other side, clad in a pretty silk shirt and broad grin on her face. "Well, hi there. I told you I'd be seeing you again."
There waa no weapon on Rose and you stared at her in complete confusion, not knowing whether to return the greeting or push her out. Rose giggled at you and strolled past you, shuttling the door behind her. "Ooo what are we watching? Casablanca? Good choice for a rube."
"W-what are you doing here?" Rose chuckled. "I told you we weren't finished yet." She pecked your lips. "I still have to make you scream."
She playfully smacked your ass. "Where's your bedroom?" You pointed down the hall and Rose took your hand in hers, taking you to your bed.
Rose pressed her lips against yours and forced you down onto the bed. "I don't think we really had a proper introduction."
"You think?" The words came out snappily but you didn't mind. "What exactly are you because I know you're not human."
"An empty devil." The response came out coldly and chills ran down your spine. Rose laughed and kissed your cheeks.
"Not so fiesty now, are we?" She ran her hands down your side as she looker around your apartment. "Haven't lived here long, have you? Or had a family in a while."
"What's it to you?" You spat and Rose smiled. "What would you say if I changed that?" You raised an eyebrow.
"Here's the deal..I'm going to make you an offer Y/n because it's clear you're the hunt or be hunted type and you're steamy." She eyed you up and down. "How old are you, lovely?"
"Twenty" You hummed softly and Rose grinned. "What an age. You know I remember being your age once. Long time ago. I felt lonesome and turned to love in all the wrong places then I met someone like myself who showed me I wasn't alone. Wasn't crazy. That's how you felt for a long time, didn't you? Your family didn't understand you. No one did."
"I-i..I don't want to talk about it." You overted eye contact. "Shhh.. it's okay. We all have our deep and dark little secrets in our families. That's what I'm offering you. No secrets you have to hold anymore and no more hunting for a meal. Stay young, eat well, live long. What do you say?"
"I say I got nothing to lose." You shrugged. "Excellent." You attempted to stand up to grab your belongings but Rose pushed you back down. "Oh no, no, no..not yet. I told you. I'm not through with you yet."
Instead of your screams of pain it was screams of pleasure Rose heard all night and Rose was perfectly fine with that. Either way she had you trapped and she wasn't letting you go, ever.
