I have this terrible problem when writing fics where I want to write all the goody yummy scenes in my head and skip over all the things that comes before and build up to making them actually interesting. And yes, I can write them out ahead of time to get them down on the page and out of my system, but what good is that when I still don't want to go back and write in the filler, which is very problematic as that's the real good stuff?

Anyone else?

#there are at least ten in my head right now #and i'm in the process of writing them out #but more form right behind them #so now i'm just going to have this jumble of misplaced scenes that i know fit and how #but will require massive amounts of editing to make them fit where they're needed #and that's irritating #but it's all the yummy good stuff that makes me excited #but the FILLER #the spectacular filler that makes them all who they are and really tells the story #THAT should be the focus #someone come and fix me please
