unfortunate side effect of absorbing two languages at once from qsmp streams is that when I try to form sentences to myself for practice they keep ending up in portunhol. instead of one or the other

#like. the language i'm actually actively trying to learn is spanish bc it's easier to me #so i try to narrate my inner monologue in spanish for practice purposes. and it does work decently well #but sometimes when i need a word i think of the portuguese one first. so i end up with shit like ''esto es tão legal''#and DIMINUITIVES i keep thinking of -inho before -ito. and going ''yo hablo um pouquinho español'' like. no. that's not how that works #it's just. girl help. accidentally learning two languages at once and doing them both wrong by combining them #echo.txt #languageblogging
