me: *editing second poetry collection* damn this is depressing i need to add some happier poems - to show the journey i’m on

(the whole book is about how love and life is a journey and about how the family you find along the way make the pathway brighter and the burdens lighter)

me: i know i’ll go to my writing masterpost on tumblr and find some of the happy stuff i’ve shared on there me: *click* *stares at list which includes a handy list of warnings for the content* me: um??? i swear i write happy stuff occasionally???

me: guess i need to write some new stuff

me: so um brain? how about some inspiration, some happy - friends are amazing - hope springs eternal kinda thing?

jah’s brain: new phone, who dis?

#jah's random commentary #work is not gr8 atm #and i'm just so tired #but i have had a real home cooked meal every night so far this week #which i am proud of #i'm sure i'll find inspiration as i go #it's not like the isbn's have a useby date XD #i'd like to have the bulk of it together before november #so i can dedicate nov to the Guardians of B'vain #jah's adventures in pretending to be a writer #i'm aiming for a 50/50 mix of happy and sad poems #roughly that is #at the moment its more like 30/70 happy/sad XD
