something about but daddy I love him always rang a bell but I couldn't place my finger on what it was until just now when I was listening again after a few weeks. and it's not even sound-wise. it just reminds me of my cousin and her husband's story 😭

#personal #barbi talks #this is so random but it is their story #long story (kinda) short:#they started dating yeaarrssss ago (i was very young) but everyone disapproved of them bc he was. many years older than her #and i think she was a teenager still?#anyway. i think her family made them separate #fast forward a few years they basically came out and said they were together for good (she was already an adult)#and the family ended up accepting him and like actually really loving him #they had two children and their house and everything #if you noticed I'm talking in past tense. he passed away a few years ago from an unknown heart condition and everyone was devastated #so anyway this is their song now! idc who Taylor wrote it about. it's theirs
