Lemons! From my little lemon tree
#gardenblr#plantblr#lemons#citrus#i LOVE this little tree it's insane#it's like 30 yrs old and has been in the same container like almost literally for all of its life yet some years it will make 20+ lemons#two years ago he looked on the brink of death. too many pests had basically eaten him alive#he was a mess of twisted branches!! I pruned him to the best of my abilities (i have no idea how to properly prune stuff)#to give every branch more areation#and cleaned each leaf by hand#killing god knows how many hundreds of weird little flies and their eggs#and how he seems to be back to doing fine!!! last year he put on SO MANY LEAVES and this years he's carring at least 20 lemons#glad to see he's back <3<3#been dealing with citrus leafminer now (that's a new one for me) and i hate not being able to just kill bugs by hand.#it's easier and relaxing when the plant is this small (all leaves are eye level basically)#so I've been spraying neem oil + potassium soap about once a week. new leaves seem to be much less munched on so that's good!#hope he's enjoying the extra potassium stuff that falls in the ground lmao. get fertilized asshole <3#not rayart#plantposting
