#I just compare the kits of actual octopath characters and make sure the number of skills and the SP amount seem reasonable and similar#so I'm using the oc2path skill sets where there are 7 skills and 2 EX skills#and then i make up a latent power and some other shit up and i creative up some ideas and attacks and what not#there are some abilities that are consistent (in the sense that octo-1 and octo-2 classes sometimes have the same ability)#so i usually carry them over onto the sheet too#Kip answers semi-coherently#i looove making little kits i loove thinking about synergy and balance <3
