maybe i shouldnt get into rattlesnake conservation considering how deeply it hurts me everytime i hear someone talk about how much they hate and fear them and the frankly gruesome displays of cruelty and violence that results of that fear and hate

#in this case- i looked up a professor who studies rattlesnakes to see if i could reach out to ehr #and her latest blog post was about how a hiker in a nature preserve stabbed a pregnant female 8 times in the head with the stake for the si #n that asked hikers to leave the rattlesnakes alone before cutting her rattle off while she was still alive #they tried to rush her in to emergency surgery and she died #i cant. i wouldnt be able to deal with that #i would have tracked that man down and done the same to him #snakes are some of the least cruel and most innocent animals ive worked with and yet nobody thinks the same #tw animal cruelty
