Alckmin destacou que a NIB se sustenta em quatro pilares: inovação, competitividade, produtividade sustentável e exportação. "Firmamos o compromisso de assegurar, através de financiamento, R$ 66 bilhões para a inovação industrial, em todas as áreas econômicas. Para a competitividade, teremos o Brasil+Produtivo, com a parceria do Sebrae e do Senai, com financiamento do BNDES", anunciou. Outra medida é a depreciação de maquinário em dois anos, hoje esse período é acima de uma década. "O objetivo é estimular a compra de maquinário novo, para melhorar a eficiência de competitividade, reduzindo o chamado custo Brasil. O presidente Lula vai sancionar a lei da LCD (Letra de Crédito de Desenvolvimento), que vai ofertar crédito para comércio e indústria, com juros mais baratos, com redução do Imposto de Renda". O prefeito de Porto Velho, Hildon Chaves, participou do evento e declarou que "o vice-presidente conhece de gestão - foi governador de São Paulo por quatro mandatos - e sabe dos obstáculos para as empresas, de um modo geral. Olhe para o nosso Estado, que é jovem, mas com uma vocação empreendedora extraordinária ao longo de nossa história. Que possamos ter investimentos para agregar valor aos nossos produtos primários, que passam por um momento de expansão". O governador Marcos Rocha ressaltou que Rondônia tem alcançado destaque nacional, com crescimento acima da média nacional. "Temos o menor índice de desemprego do país, somos um grande produtor agropecuário e seguimos crescendo. Aproveitei para sugerir ao vice-presidente que, durante a realização da COP23, em Belém (PA), o café servido seja o saboroso robusta amazônico produzido aqui em Rondônia, que representa mais de 90% da produção cafeeira da região Norte.
