if you're born on the cob🌽 like me and loved anime like gakkuen babysitters and yuzuki's four sons i wholeheartedly recommend this season's omegaverse yaoi anime (tadaima okaeri). it's about a gay married couple raising their baby son and the bigger kid that they've basically adopted too and also one of the dads' best friend from childhood and coworker is there. very slice of life stuff. the anime has been very sweet so far and tackled topics well. the omegaverse stuff is a bit silly at first but i think it works as an allegory and hey if you want husbands to get a baby via mpreg then go for it.

Oh, Suddenly Egyptian God is a series of cute slice of life anime shorts on Crunchyroll about the lives of Egyptian gods, I binged through the whole series in a night I just wish more people were talking about it

This. This made me so emotional. And so happy. If someone does this to me, I'll be so happy I'll probably cry, because that is so considerate, such a sweet gesture. It will genuinely take away my fear, my nervousness. I'mma do this to my people if they get nervous/worried🔼

Shirosaki's goofiness is contagious, his warmth, kindness and sweet nature is also contagious.🔼

When towards the end, Momose makes that ad for the aquarium and they go over there to pay their respects, and Momose is reminded of his old boss Kurono because of some cafe and then he does some self reflection that "he still hasn't moved on from all of that? What is he doing?" It's so real, because you do feel like that, all such things and feelings, and then comes Shirosaki☀️, the support and the encouragement he gives, and the consideration he has for Momose by simply being there, that's all one needs at times, and Momose realises that he indeed has come a long way from all of that which happened and that he's going to become strong. That part is so real, and the encouragement really helps. The acknowledgement of having such feelings, and that it's okay to have them.

Honestly, the way they've portrayed trauma is also really good. We can see throughout how Momose and his body react to some of the most simple interactions. And how through better and proper and considerate surroundings he overcomes it while sometimes still being tormented by the past. The trauma cannot just disappear, it will sometimes pop up, but Shirosaki notices those small things and tries to be there in some way he can. A little support and consideration goes a long long way.

Loved the anime, but it felt like BL in disguise. But even if it's not like that, it's still the cutest sweetest bromance type of bond they share.

it is such a cute and a lighthearted anime ! I have discovered thhis anime by pure chance and it was so good but sooooo short. You could watch it and finish it in one sitting as it is 30 minutes long !

It was one of those animes where I immediately read the manga because I wasn't patient enough to wait for the weekly episodes. I was instantly obsessed with the story!

I've been looking for a slice of life/shoujo anime to fixate on for months but nothing has caught my heart until I found this one~ Oh, to be in high school once again and experience having butterflies in your stomach every time you see your crush.

Mitsumi and Shima made me kick my feet and giggle endlessly 'til 6am. I love them both so much that I can feel my heart is going to burst. Especially mitsumi, she's so lovely and overflowing with love that it's radiating to me.

Now that I'm waiting for another chapter, my life feels so empty and lonely ╥﹏╥ The actual reason why I decided to write this despite of it being an ongoing show.

Time check: 5:30am (of course i haven't slept a blink yet)

Srsly tho. Idk how well the humor has aged and it does do the horny anime thing often but. If you have any love or appreciation for good animation, watch Space Dandy. Like half of the episodes have guest art directors. It's so fucking fun and beautiful. And the final episodes? wild.

Recently read this volume of Play It Cool, Guys and I love these goofy goobers so much!! 😭😭😭

I felt all the happiness and definitely need to make it a goal to reread the first three volumes before volume five comes out next year!
