Previous Part🖤❤️💜💙 First Part ❤️
..You're here again. You'd promised yourself you'd stop trespassing on unknown property, but yet here you are, climbing over a vine-covered fence. What would the commoners say if they saw you here?
Oh, who cares what they think?! You've got more important things to worry about. And, frankly, a lot of stress.
You land not-so-gracefully on the ground before standing up and dusting yourself off, admiring all of the differently colored roses in the garden. It's so beautiful here..
You grab the watering can you've been leaving behind, filling it up with water at a small fountain to the right before watering each of the roses with a smile. They've been thriving here..it's such a nice feeling, seeing them doing well. Though, they aren't exactly the highlight of this garden..
Once you finish watering the flowers, you sit the can back down and walk down a path. You look up to see a beautifully crafted stone statue, its likeness resembling a skeleton with a crown on his head. A calm smile carved is onto his face. His hands are stretched outwards, just enough to place something within them as if he were carrying them.
You glance around with a smile, before approaching the statue, stepping onto a platform holding him up and pressing your hand on his cold cheek.
"Hello again. I'm back, just like I said I'd be. I hope you like the roses I put here in the back for you. It didn't feel right for you to be unable to see them too."
You are met with silence, so you continue to speak.
"A lot's been going on.. but at least I know I'm safe here, right?" You smile, lowering your hand before climbing up and lying in his arms.
"Royal life's a pain. I just..need an escape from my duties. There's truly too much expected of me. Having watchful eyes on me all the time is so..stressful. One slip up, and you're done for.."
Birds chirp as they fly through the skies, singing to one another as they pass. One descends and lands on the skeleton's shoulder, nuzzling up against his face.
"Coming here helps me feel better..I can't explain why, but..it just makes me feel reassured. More positive, I suppose. Is it you, giving off that sort of energy?" You ask, knowing fully well you won't receive an answer.
"..It's a bit silly, me talking to a statue. ..Sometimes I wish you could talk back to me..let me know your thoughts on everything..what you've experienced. But I suppose that's only a wish, isn't it?"
The sun slowly begins to set in the sky, the colors mixing between shades of oranges, pinks, and purples. You find yourself rambling on for a good while, pointing out cloud shapes and laughing at your own jokes. Those waiting for you at the castle can keep waiting..this is much more fun.
You slide down, out of his arms, looking down at the words engraved into the platform holding the statue up. "Dream, Prince of Positivity..That suits you." You smile, leaning in and pressing a kiss to the statue's cheek.
The sky burns orange as the sun prepares to face the moon. You turn away from the statue, beginning to walk back over to the fence, when you hear a crack. The ground shakes beneath your feet as you feel yourself tremble with it, turning back and watching as the stone begins to break, falling..off of the statue, to reveal something-- or rather, someone beneath it all.
You rush over when you begin to see a form, catching the skeleton as he falls after losing his balance. ..He's..alive?!
He gently places his gloved hands onto your shoulders, backing up a little to see your face with a cheery, wide grin.
"It's you!" He says, his voice warm and fond, filled with recognition.
"Um..hello?" You say, still a bit in shock. He chuckles at your nervousness.
"You saved me! You've been the one coming to visit, taking care of me and..everything! I'm so happy, I could explode!" He picks you up, twirling you around with a laugh.
"Saved..you? But how?"
"It's a really long story, but..to summarize it, your kiss directly at sunset was what broke the curse placed on me! Now I'm not forced to be a statue anymore. I can move, I can..feel, I- I can talk to you!"
"So then..you've heard everything I've said?" Your face flushes a bit when you think about that as he holds your hands.
"Yes, I've held onto every word. You've been so kind, even when you thought I was..inanimate? I think that's the right term.. I'm so happy I can share my thoughts with you..I've wanted to since the day we met. Well..more like..you found me." He smiles, placing a warm hand on your cheek. It's such a strange sensation, considering how cold he was mere moments ago..
"..It's..nice to meet you for real, Dream. I'm.." You tell him your name for the first time. He closes his eyes to stretch his smile a little in response.
"That's a wonderful name." "You think so? Really?" "I do."
He glances around at the different roses. "You've been taking really good care of these! I thought after I'd stopped moving they'd have wilted by the time I came back.."
"So..this was your garden?" You ask, genuinely curious.
"Well, I shared it with my brother. We both took care of them together, but one day he stopped coming by."
"I see..who is your brother?" You tilt your head as he moves his arms away, beginning to stretch since he'd become so stiff.
"Well, assuming a while has passed, he should be a King by now. I'm sure he's..much different than I remember, haha." His smile saddens a bit. You glance away from him for a second.
"..Would you like to accompany me? I'm heading back to my residence, and..I'm sure there's lots you'd like to talk about, right?"
"Oh, that sounds wonderful! Please lead the way." You could swear you could see little sparkles floating around his head as you watch him, smiling a bit before leading him to the fence, climbing over it. He does the same, and the two of you run off, following a path back to your castle.
Some footsteps are heard approaching the garden, followed by the gate unlocking. A few seconds of pure silence pass until a purple flowerpot shatters onto the ground.
The moon rises in the sky as the two of you walk under the cover of trees. Dream stares in awe at the stars above as you travel, a faint glow of yellow emitting from his body. You could compare him to a torch, but just a bit brighter. It helps you see, so that's a good thing.
"So- ..um..please don't mention everything you've heard..I went to you specifically to vent, and.." You trail off.
He replies soon after. "Don't worry. I wouldn't do that to you. I understand what you've meant..being a royal is..incredibly stressful- but with enough drive, you can push through your struggles and emerge stronger than before." He grins. You smile at that idea. Seems he has a point..
"I guess that Positivity label's pretty accurate, huh?..You're really..optimistic."
"I suppose you could say that. I've always been this way. I like to have hope when I can." He holds his hand out, letting the bird from before rest on it. "Hello there, friend!" He chuckles. "Good to see you again."
You smile warmly at this interaction, pushing past some bushes to enter the castle gardens, pulling him through shortly after.
"Come on, you can stay in one of the guest rooms tonight."
"Understood." He grins, more birds having landed on his shoulders.
"Maaaybe get rid of those..I'd rather not find feathers everywhere."
He lets out a little laugh, before gently shooing them away.
.
.
.
"boss, you look kinda..on edge, what's going on?"
"He's missing."
"what? what do you mean, he's-"
"I said, he's missing- Send our best guards out and find him at ONCE-" The King's fist roughly hits his desk in rage.
"okay okay, you don't have to shout..i'll go tell the others."
A door closes.
"This isn't good..he could rise against me. I won't let that happen, Dream.. This kingdom is mine."

✨~📖Fairytale Series📖~✨
Previous Part 💙 First Part ❤️ the show must go on. ;) so here's another oneshot! oh, do i love enemies to lovers.. it's mostly nightmare focused but there'll be more oneshots with this plotline so the others will get more time to shine later!
Stars twinkle overhead in the night sky. The church's bells ring in unison as you walk down a long hallway, adjusting your crown so it doesn't slip with an irritated look.
Today was..a stressful one, to say the least.
As a ruler, you take pride in hosting various beautiful parties for the people of your kingdom. Nobility, working class, peasants..anyone may attend, which has led to quite a lot of gossip..gossip that sometimes caught the attention of the wrong crowds.
This morning, you'd received word that a ruler from a neighboring kingdom would be attending your event today..one you had planned to avoid all contact with, having known the terrible rumors about him..and having met him before. A monster who overtook his kingdom by force..cruel to his subjects. Corrupt. You'd rather not associate with someone like that..but it seems you have no choice.
Walking into the ballroom, you put on your best performed smile, walking over to a throne that had been placed down and thanking your staff for moving it for you, sitting down on a high balcony so you can oversee everyone below.
"May the festivities commence!" You call out, hearing cheers from those below and letting out a contented sigh. At least you can embrace their enjoyment until a certain someone arrives..
The band plays their best songs with smiles, the various groups of humans and monsters alike dancing together on the ballroom floor..a bright, brilliant chandelier shines above them all.
This is all you've ever truly wanted..peace among your kingdom. People being able to get along and coexist without fail..your parents had never seen your vision when they were still here, but now? Well..you've proven them wrong. Peace is the right answer..true bliss.
..That is interrupted when the entrance doors slam open. The crowd gasps. You stand, putting your hands on the railing in front of you.
"What is the meaning of this?" You ask, eyes darting around.
Gasps move around the room like wildfire. Everyone turns to the entrance, wondering who could be causing such a ruckus.
Two skeletons enter the ballroom, standing side by side. One with a large grin on his face, the other's shrouded in the shadow of his hood.
"ladies and gentlefolk! wow, is this a beautiful party! really outdid yourself up there, your majesty!"
"and now..we are proud to announce.." The hooded one strains a word there as the two of them hold their arms to the door.
"the arrival of his majesty!" They say together.
An uncomfortable aura fills the room..a chill goes down your spine as a faint green light is seen visible burning in the darkness of the entranceway.
A king steps out, a calm but sly grin on his face. His body is stained with some sort of substance..his attire a dark shade of green to match his single bright eyelight. He leans a cane on the floor, standing between the two as another guard stands behind him..almost as if he doesn't want to be associated.
"king nightmare!"
You feel your grip on the railing tighten. First he has the audacity to show up uninvited and now he feels the need to interrupt the party with an introduction? How self centered can you be?
His grin stretches a bit as he looks up at you. He's revelling in your anger. He can definitely feel it..
"Oh my, isn't that.. the rumored 'King of Negativity'? What's he doing here?" The party members gossip. "I heard he took over his kingdom by banishing his brother somewhere so he would have complete control..how cruel." "I hear he feeds off of the negativity of others..like a leech."
"Your majesty.." He looks up at you, holding out a hand. "Lovely party you're having. I must send my compliments to your decorators..even if it is much too bright for my tastes."
"King Nightmare..what a pleasure. Seems you decided to attend after all." Your smile is strained as you make your way over to the staircase on your left to go down and greet him.
"How could I miss something like this? A party held in one of the most notoriously peaceful kingdoms around..I simply had to see it for myself."
You clear your throat. "Everyone, please continue indulging in the festivities!"
People murmur amongst themselves before the band catches the hint, playing their music again and allowing them to dance and mingle once more.
"Why are you here?" You ask, blunt now that everyone's eyes have been turned away. "There has to be a reason. I heavily doubt you came here for a bit of fun. That's not your thing."
"Such an observant little ruler.." "Do not patronize me."
He snaps his fingers, getting the attention of the others. "Boys, go do something. I'm dismissing you for the evening."
"hell yeah! c'mon dusty, let's go get some drinks." The more energetic skeleton drags the tired one away, the much taller and..honestly more threatening skeleton in the back moving to lean on one of the walls to keep watch.
"What are you planning? You're nowhere near the type to indulge in festivities." "Am I not allowed to visit a potential business partner?" "I have no interest in doing business with You." You glare at him, earning a chuckle as he makes his cane disappear. He holds out his hand to you, making you raise a brow in confusion.
People begin to notice, glancing over curiously and beginning to gossip.
"This is a party..won't you do me the honor of a dance, Your Majesty?"
"With..little respect due, your grace, I would rather my soul shatter in front of all these people." "That could be arranged." His eyelight glows menacingly, but you refuse to back down.
"You'd like that, wouldn't you?" You scoff, turning away before he grabs your hand, pulling you over to him. You feel your heart skip a beat as you look up into his eye, shocked.
"You know nothing of what I want, my dear. But for now, we may as well put our true wants aside and enjoy the evening. Isn't that what you'd prefer?"
You look around, everyone's eyes on the two of you. Damn it.
You strain a new smile. "Fine. You want a dance? Let's dance."
His signature smirk you'd love to punch off of his face in front of the hundreds attending slides its way back onto his face as the song changes. The two of you move in sync, despite the occasional intentional slips you pull that he unfortunately knows just how to correct. Every move, he knows how to match it. How the hell does he do that? It's annoying..
You go to say something when he spins you out away from himself quickly, grabbing something midair before pulling you back against him. You raise a brow in confusion before he shows you the dagger he'd just caught.
"Seems even in a peaceful land there's someone who'd want you dead. How ironic." "..I'm not going to thank you for that." "Thanks isn't something I'm looking for."
Killer leans on one of the tables, raising his browbones at some ladies that pass by who giggle in reply, earning a smack on the head from Dust.
"focus, we've gotta make sure nightmare isn't harmed here."
"oh, c'mon, dusty! he can handle himself just fine- pluuus we're dismissed, don't you wanna have a little fun? maybe meet someone new?"
"i don't have time to waste on things like that. i'm sure horror feels the same way, right horror?"
"don't talk to me."
Killer turns to the two of you. "you know..their majesty's pretty mysterious..they've caught my interest."
"you have no chance of catching the eye of a ruler, killer."
"i bet i could! i'd just have to have an opportunity..whenever nightmare gets tired of..looking at them like that."
"hmm." There's a pause. "..i guess they do seem pretty interesting.."
"see!" Killer replies, earning a shrug from Dust.
Soon enough other dancers on the floor move around you both in circles, leaving you in the center where everyone can watch your glares at one another.
"I truly do loathe you, your majesty." "What a wonderful thing to say, your grace." He grins at you as the music begins to fade out, before spinning you and dipping you as everyone gasps.
"You have such a way with words."
You shiver at his whisper, feeling heat rise to your face as the glare in your eyes intensifies. If people weren't watching, you'd smack him right here.
He raises you back up, looking from your eyes to your lips briefly before letting you go. "Wonderful dancing skills, your majesty. I'm sure you had a lovely teacher. Maybe work on those slips, though."
"You little.."
He waves you off as he walks away. You walk gracefully into another room, before immediately running over to one of the sofas and screaming into a pillow. Oooh, you're gonna counter him one day if it's the last thing you do!
"so, boss, how'd it go?"
"I'll be coming back here very soon. I'm assuming you'll be joining me?"
"of course! wouldn't miss it for the world." Killer lets out a chuckle.

// haven't written red in a hot minute, might as well experiment! 📖 Fairytale AU series! ft. an Assassin Red? 👀 ❤️ Reader is Gender Neutral as always, SOUL is up to you! 🗡️First Oneshot (You're here!) Second Oneshot (Coming Soon)
You run. You run as far as you possibly can, your cloak flowing out behind you as you run through the woods, grabbing onto trees and launching yourself forwards to get a head start.
A dagger, or rather a sharpened bone, flies by your face just barely missing it and landing in a tree in front of you. You turn left, clutching your bag of spell ingredients to your side.
Being chased by someone who's out for your head in return for some gold was not on your schedule for today!
"you may as well stop runnin'," The assassin shouts from behind you, keeping up at a rapid pace. "it's pointless!"
You dodge another sharpened bone, looking back at the skeleton behind you with a glare. "And let you just fucking kill me? YOU WISH-"
"i can see why they found it so hard to kill ya before, you've got plenty of stamina-" He throws a few more bones, you jumping over them to the best of your ability.
"Who hired you?" You stand behind a tree, backing up when a bone goes through it and running again. No time to catch your breath when your life's on the line..
"confidential." "Of course." You roll your eyes, opening your spellbook and looking for something to possibly help your situation. A transport spell? Protection spell? Anything??
You see your hideout up ahead, contemplating locking yourself in there, but you really don't want an assassin to know where you live, so you take a right.
The light of the sun shines through the trees harshly, a spotlight on the chase. Woodland creatures peek their heads out from behind the trees to watch. Fairies fly about, sitting in flowers and whispering to each other to give commentary.
The skeleton was starting to get tired now, but he couldn't stop running. He really didn't want another lecture from his brother about "Slacking Off". He adjusts his dark red cloak, the fur on it soft against his skull.
You're good at dodging, he'll give you that. You've managed to avoid every single bone he's thrown your way with relative ease. Most people would've been down by the second one. He can respect your skills, even if you're the person who he needs to kill for this bounty.
Thoughts race through your mind. Your potential killer is running right behind you, and you're running out of places to, well, run to. Who could've possibly wanted you killed? You've left your past life behind, they don't have to worry about you showing your face again. So who could possibly want you dead?
As you become further and further lost in thought, you feel the side of a bone (the non-sharpened side, that is) hit the side of your torso, knocking you down onto the cold ground. You back up quickly, holding your side with one of your hands as the skeleton slowly walks towards you, bone in hand. His sharp teeth are on display as he grins down at you, a single gold tooth glistening in the light. You try to get up, but he holds you down with one of his boots, leaning his arm on his knee as you wince.
"well, look at that..seems i caught ya."
"Let me go!" You struggle, trying to push him off of you.
"can't, sorry 'bout that." He watches you continue to struggle despite this, raising a browbone. "now, what's someone like you doin' to get a price this big on their head? gotta be somethin' pretty damn bad."
"I don't know why someone wants me dead, I haven't spoken to anyone in a year. I'm just trying to live my life out here, not be bothered by people I knew in the past."
"huh.. so you have no idea why?"
"No! I don't want anything to do with them, that's for sure. I didn't ask for this, I haven't done anything."
"hm. well, that's a pity-" He raises a bone above you.
"WAIT!" You hold out your hands, halting his kill. He lets out an annoyed huff, staring down at you.
"what? what is it now?"
"You don't have to kill me, I can give you double what they gave."
"yeah right, they offered me a fortune to bring your soul back to 'em in a pretty little box." "I have a shop, I make a ton of profits. I can give you some in exchange for you not killing me. Wouldn't you rather get your gold from someone who isn't corrupt?"
He averts his single visible eyelight to the side. He's thinking about it.. Please let this work. You're running out of options here.
"you mean to tell me you can give me more than royalty?" "Yes. ..Just let me live, and I can show you."
He hums in acknowledgement. In truth, you didn't really..seem like someone that should have a price on your head. Something about the aura around you. You never fought back when he first encountered you, instead choosing to run immediately.
If he could get more gold from you than from some entitled tyrant, he'd choose the former option any day.
"alright, i'll bite. i'm goin' with ya to get it, though. no funny business, or it won't just be your heart i'm takin' back." He points the sharpened edge of the bone above you against your raised chin to emphasize his point.
"Okay. Get off me first, then." You deadpan, before he lowers his weapon, stepping off you. You get up and dust yourself off with a huff. Might as well go find the shop..good thing you don't live in there.
It's a mostly quiet walk there, with the exception of the sounds of nature around you. You perk up since the silence is starting to unsettle you.
"Y'know, I can actually give you an alternative soul if you need one for "proof" that you killed me. So you can still get paid without any questions." "..you have a human soul?" He narrows his eyesockets at you. "I have my business, you have yours. You want it or not?" You look back at him. "if you actually have what you promised, i'll accept it." He shrugs. You let out a sigh as you finally reach your potions and medicine shop, unlocking the door.
The skeleton glances around at all the different plants inside, both magical and natural. Potions are on various shelves as well as ingredients to make them. He probably should've guessed you're a mage of some kind, seeing as you literally have one of the hats on your head right now.
You go behind the counter, looking through several cabinets for what you need.
"you got any poisoned apples or spindles for princesses to prick their fingers on in here?" He jokes, earning an eye roll from you.
"I'm not allowed to sell those anymore." You reply, continuing to look. That causes him to pause and look in your direction, before letting out a laugh. So you've got jokes too, huh?
"funny." "I try." You pull quite a few hefty bags of gold out of your cabinet, sitting them on the desk and taking out some gems you found while exploring some crystal caves. "This enough?"
"holy shit, you weren't kiddin'." "Duh. My life was on the line." "well, fair 'nuff. deal's a deal." He takes what you gave him, hiding it all in his cloak with magic.
You slide over a container, motioning for him to give you the box in one of his hands. He sits it down, and you transfer the pieces of a deceased person's soul into it. Thankfully it's the same color as your own, so it's more convincing.
"heheh. pleasure doin' business, human."
You correct him, telling him your name.
"huh.. guess we aren't strangers now. name's red. nice to meet'cha." "You too, I suppose..skeleton that almost tried to murder me and cut out my soul." "gotta work somehow." He slides over a stool, sitting at the counter. You rest your arms on said counter, curious.
"you mind if i stick around? 'm not ready to go back there yet." "Uh..go ahead, if you want. I'll just organize some stuff."
And you do just that, the skeleton sitting and observing. Once he gets to talking, the two of you go through various topics of interest, both shared and opposing. When he's not trying to kill you, he's a bit of a charmer in truth. You can see yourself getting along with him.
"And so that's.." You pause mid sentence, seeing the skeleton has fallen asleep. With an amused smile and a huff, you pull out your wand and conjure up a blanket, letting it fall over him and deciding to let him rest.
You walk over to one of the window seats, lying down yourself and letting your hat rest over your face.
Morning arrives. Red sits up, confused, before remembering what happened previously. He feels the blanket over his shoulders and smiles a little bit, looking over at your sleeping form.
"not bad. not bad at all." Is all he says before walking out. Yeah..he'll be back later.

i watched sleeping beauty again and was enlightened. enjoy! 📖 Fairytale AU series! This time featuring Blue <3 ❤️ Reader is Gender Neutral as always, SOUL is up to you!
- 🗡Previous Oneshot - Next Oneshot (Soon)
It's a beautiful day outside. (Not that kind!) The sun shines brightly in the sky, birds sing songs to one another as they fly through the skies right above your head. You smile as you walk along a forest path, surrounded by glowing mushrooms and gorgeous flowers. Wandering through, you make your way over to some berry bushes and pick them, gently placing them into a basket in your left hand with a grin.
A few of the forest animals notice you, deciding to accompany you in your travels. Squirrels, birds, even a few deer. Seems you've got quite the audience for some berry picking. You smile amusedly as a robin lands on your shoulder.
"My my, there's certainly a lot of you, isn't there?"
You hear a variety of animal sounds in reply.
"Well, I don't mind that. The more the merrier." You chuckle, spotting some strawberries and picking them after ensuring they're ripe. You decide to spare some blueberries you'd found earlier to them, the gesture very much so appreciated.
You've been walking a while..perhaps it would be best to take a rest. Humming, you walk over to a lone tree stump and sit on it, resting your legs beside a stream. The animals surround you, seeming to want to take a rest as well.
"I didn't know I'd be making so many friends today." You smile, gently petting the head of the bird that's still on your shoulder with your fingers. It promptly chirps in response.
Feeling more at ease, you hum a familiar tune as the animals surround you that echoes throughout the area.
. . .
Two knights wander through the forest. Both skeletons, one much taller than the other. Both very bright eyed and seeking adventure. The taller skeleton has armor with themes of red, the shorter one wearing themes of blue.
The shorter one swings his sword around. "So, What Do You Think We'll Find Today, Papyrus? I'm Hoping We'll Find Somewhere New To Explore! Or Maybe An Enemy To Defeat To Save Someone." He pretends to attack an invisible enemy, making "swoosh"ing sounds.
"Nyeh Heh, I Wouldn't Doubt Either Of Those Happening, Blue! We'll Simply Have To See What The Day Brings Before We Must Return Home To Our Brothers. And Probably Find Them Asleep." He sighs, putting a hand on his hip as he walks. Blue lets out an amused chuckle.
"Yeah, That Sounds Like Them." He grins, amused by the scenario he's grown so familiar with.
Blue's focus is interrupted when he hears the sound of someone singing, turning his head towards the trees beside them.
"Blue? Is Something The Matter?" Papyrus asks, curious as to what's distracted his fellow knight.
"I Hear Something..Be Right Back!" He runs off.
"BLUE! DON'T GO RUNNING INTO UNKNOWN TERRITORY!" Papyrus shouts after him, sighing again. "That Skeleton.. We May Be Incredibly Alike, But I Can Still See Bits Of My Brother Within Him." He shakes his head and decides to take a moment to rest. His legs had admittedly grown a little tired.
Blue chases the sound of someone's voice, the sound like a siren's call to him, luring him in. He can't help but be a little curious. it's not every day you hear something like this out in the woods! Let alone a sound this..lovely.
He runs, following the sound to the best of his ability with a bright smile before he comes to a stop.. stepping past a tree and spotting you, finishing off your song with closed eyes and surrounded by very different animals.
When you open them, your eyes go wide at the sight of the skeleton, not having expected to see anybody. Your cheeks flush a little too, not having expected anyone to overhear. Well, apart from the wildlife that is.
He grins when he realizes you've noticed him, before backtracking a little. He did just show up unannounced..
"Oh! I'm Terribly Sorry, I Didn't Mean To Scare You." "Oh, no no, it- it's not that, it's just.." "You Didn't Think Anyone Would Hear?" "Yeah." The animals watch your interactions curiously. "I'm not usually one to speak to strangers."
"Well, Then I May As Well Introduce Myself! We Wouldn't Be Strangers Anymore Then." A cheeky grin makes its way onto his face.
You smile amusedly at this.
He bows, making your smile grow a little. "My Name Is Blue, A Knight Of The Swappe Kingdom. It's A Pleasure To Meet You!"
You stand up, bowing back to him. A gesture he's pleasantly surprised by. You tell him your name, "It's a pleasure to meet you as well, Sir Blue. A Knight all the way out here in the woods? Whatever could be the occasion?" You smile, raising a brow.
"Well, I Happened To Be Travelling With A Companion Of Mine To Go Find Any Quests To Complete. Ah, I've- I've Left Him Behind!- ..I'm..Sure He Can Handle Himself Just Fine."
You chuckle, putting your hand over your mouth. He smiles sheepishly.
"See, I'd Heard You And..I Really Wanted To Know Who Owned Such A Nice Sounding Voice. So I Ran Over Impulsively."
You smile. "Well..I'm happy you liked it." Your face flushes a little. "I'm a bit..shy about it. I don't usually sing in front of people."
"I Can Understand That, But In Truth Your Voice Is Very Lovely! You Shouldn't Hide It."
"Well..thank you." you mutter in reply.
There's a comfortable moment of silence, before Blue disturbs the peace. "Ah, I..I Should Be Heading Back Now."
"Yes.. um..it was nice meeting you, Blue." "Could I..See You Again?" "Where?" "Here, Tomorrow?" "I'd like that." You smile, him smiling at you in return before he hears his companion shout for him. He's startled, abruptly starting to back up.
"I'll See You Soon!" He shouts, running away out of sight. "I'll be here!" You shout back, grinning as he fades from your view. You turn back to the animals, finding them a bit more smug than they were before..
"Don't look at me like that!" You shout, your face flushing brighter as you're met with various animal noises.
"Blue, There You Are! Whatever Happened?" "I Wanted To Go Investigate Something, Sorry If I Worried You."
Papyrus sighs. "Very Well, But Don't Go Running Off Without Telling Me Why Next Time!" "Understood!" Blue chuckles as they walk along the path they'd intended to before.
