so funny seeing you post about not being able to tell the difference between people on spn when you've watched the xfiles because there was SO many old men on that show I couldn't tell the difference between

Babe I couldn't tell that Krycek was supposed to be a recurring character and not just a new one-off agent until way too deep into his arc, this is not a supernatural exclusive issue for me.

At least almost all the old guys in the x files were functionally the same Myserious Government Guy character with different thematic motifs so it doesn't matter if you recognise them. They're neither Mulder nor Scully nor Scully's little dog who gets eaten by the Loch Ness monster (rip!) so they're just moody set dressing to me
